SIMPATI: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan dan Bahasa 2024 CV. Alim's Publishing

This research aims to: (1) describe how much logical thinking ability increases in students who are taught using the problem-based learning model; (2) describe how much logical thinking ability increases in students who are taught using conventional learning models; and (3) analyze the influence of the problem-based learning model on students' logical thinking abilities. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques use logical thinking ability tests (pretest and posttest). The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The research results show that: (1) the logical thinking ability of students taught using the problem-based learning model has increased by 0.75 (high category) with an average pretest score of 9.40 and posttest of 26.30; (2) the logical thinking ability of students taught using conventional learning models increased by 0.22 (low category) with an average pretest score of 12.53 and posttest of 17.17; (3) there is a significant influence of the problem-based learning model on students' logical thinking abilities, which is proven by a probability value of 0.001 <significant 0.05.

This research aims to describe the improvement in learning outcomes in spatial volume material using the TARL approach for class IV students at SDN 01 Kanigoro. This research was carried out using a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in 2 cycles which aimed to determine the increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes through the TARL learning approach. The research subjects were 12 class IV students at SDN 01 Kanigoro. The research results show an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects using the TARL approach at SDN 01 Kanigoro. Based on the results of pre-cycle action activities, there were 3 students who completed and 9 students who did not complete. In the first cycle, there were 7 students who completed and 5 students who did not complete. while in the second cycle there were 11 students who completed it and 1 student who did not complete it. In conclusion, by using the TARL approach, student learning outcomes in class can improve.

In the formation of the nation's character, it is necessary to teach ketamansiswaan education to apply inclusive and national-based educational values, especially in education in Indonesia. The team of lecturers and fellow students of Padepokan 47 Real Work Lecture of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University conducted community service on the role of socialization of ketamansiswaan education in the formation of national character at SD Negeri 1 Ngandong. The purpose of this socialization is so that the community, especially teachers and employees of SD Negeri 1 Ngandong, can find out how the role of ketamansiswaan education in the formation of national character through the teachings of Tamansiswa.To achieve these activities, socialization activities have been carried out in the first week at SD Negeri 1 Ngandong regarding the socialization of ketamansiswaan education in the formation of national character. The implementation of this socialization begins with planning followed by the presentation of material fundamentally to the main discussion. This socialization activity is expected to be useful and for teachers and employees as well as at SD Negeri 1 Ngandong and fellow students of the Real Work Lecture Padepokan 47 Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa university. This socialization is expected to provide knowledge in overcoming problems regarding the lack of understanding of the teachings of Tamansiswa education.

Community Service Learning (KKN) is a community service program conducted by students of Universitas PGRI Wiranegara. This service activity was carried out in Lajuk Village, Gondang Wetan District, Pasuruan Regency. This study employed a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach to involve the community in every stage of the program. The research results showed that the KKN program has successfully improved access to information, environmental awareness, quality of education, and strengthened social and religious bonds in Lajuk Village. Active community participation in every program activity indicates the success of the participatory approach implemented. Overall, this KKN has proven that students can be effective agents of change in village development. Collaboration between students, the community, and the village government is the key to the success of this program. The implementation of this KKN provides important recommendations for the organization of future KKN, namely the importance of involving the community from the early planning stages, selecting work programs that are relevant to the needs of the community, and ensuring the sustainability of programs after the KKN is completed.

This community service article focuses on developing a website to increase the visibility of UMKM in Karanganyar Village, Pasuruan City. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, this activity involves observations and interviews with UMKM actors to understand their needs and challenges. The development process began by redesigning the appearance and features of the website to be more user-friendly and informative, which was then integrated with the profiles of UMKM, that had not yet been registered. As a result, several UMKM, such as Permata Bread, Fish Crackers, Pecel Rice, Lele Dimsum, Motor Parts, Dumpling Noodles, Tamarind Turmeric and Bonagung Herbal Medicine, Chicken Nuggets, Macrame Glaze, Petis Tambar, and Es Agogo, were successfully added to the website. This increased visibility allows UMKM to reach a wider market, both local and international. The social impact of this development includes an increase in the number of customers and greater business opportunities for UMKM. This article concludes that website development carried out in a participatory manner can be an effective tool in empowering local UMKM, as well as encouraging economic growth and community welfare in the digital era

Training on processing liquid organic fertilizer from vegetable waste in Ngampel Wetan Village, Kendal, was conducted to increase community awareness and skills in utilizing household waste, especially vegetable waste, as a basic ingredient for making liquid organic fertilizer. This activity was motivated by the community's dependence on inorganic fertilizers in agriculture, so the potential of liquid organic fertilizer can be applied to farmers in Ngampel Wetan Village. With this training, the community is expected to be able to reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers by switching to organic fertilizers that are safer and more economical. The method used in processing vegetable waste as liquid organic fertilizer, observation, theory, product targets, implementation, and evaluation aims to solve problems in Ngampel Wetan Village, Ngampel District, Kendal Regency. It is hoped that with this training, the community of Ngampel Wetan Village can utilize vegetable waste into liquid organic  fertilizer and utilize it in agricultural activities so that liquid organic  fertilizer can overcome the problems of waste and limited fertilizer.   Pelatihan pengolahan pupuk organik cair dari limbah sayur di Desa Ngampel Wetan, Kendal, dilakukan guna  meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan limbah rumah tangga, khususnya limbah sayur, sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan pupuk organik cair. Kegiatan ini dilater belakangi oleh ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap penggunaan pupuk anorganik  dalam bidang pertanian, maka potensi pupuk organik cair dapat diaplikasikan ke para petani di Desa Ngampel Wetan.  Pelatihan pupuk organik cair kepada masyarakat diharapkan bisa  mengurangi ketergantungan pada pupuk kimia dengan beralih ke pupuk organik yang lebih aman dan ekonomis. Metode yang digunakan pengolahan limbah sayur sebagai pupuk organik cair yaitu observasi lapangan, teori, sasaran produk, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi atas permasalahan di Desa Ngampel Wetan Kecamatan Ngampel Kabupaten Kendal. Diharapkan, dengan adanya pelatihan ini, masyarakat Desa Ngampel Wetan   dapat memanfaatkan limbah sayuran menjadi pupuk organik cair dan memanfaatkannya dalam kegiatan pertanian, sehingga pupuk organic cair dapat mengatasi permasalahan sampah dan keterbatasan pupuk

Community service is an activity carried out by individuals or groups, where this task is given by lecturers in carrying out the TriDharma of Higher Education, namely the aspect of service. This community service is carried out to increase community awareness and activeness in forming and developing villages. This research shows the role of students in making it happen. This activity involves efforts such as "Anti-bullying" socialization education for students, mutual cooperation, teaching ngaji at the Qur'an house, and environmental awareness efforts. Community service by students can be the first step in renewing the quality of life of a village and society. This research emphasizes the importance of the active role of students in building villages and providing recommendations for the implementation of similar programs in the future

The existence of micro businesses for a country is important and is an indicator for assessing societal civilization. In reality, the current conditions in society are that there are still many micro business actors who do not know and have not registered a business permit, one of which is the residents of Kilasah Village, Kasemen District, Serang City. This can happen because of the lack of literacy regarding business legality and the benefits of NIB. So under these conditions, tum PkM provides assistance in making NIBs to MSMEs in Kilasah Village as a solution to the problem of not developing their businesses. The implementation of PkM goes through four stages, namely the observation stage of partner problems, the preparation stage, the implementation stage which contains providing education and motivation for registering business legality, as well as filling out the NIB form directly to the MUI. The result of this activity is that through the mentoring program for making NIB business legality, MSME actors in Kilasah Village understand NIB and understand the benefits of legality of their business. Through the mentoring program for making NIB business legality, MSME actors in Kilasah Village understand and can practice the steps and flow, as well as procedures for making NIB. The results obtained prove the success of the PkM team in helping assist MSMEs residents of Kilasah Village in creating Business Identification Numbers (NIB) that can develop their businesses with standardized products.

This article discusses socialization and education on toothbrushing for grade 1 students which was carried out in the context of Real Work Lectures (KKN) by PGRI Wiranegara University students at SDN Karanganyar, Pasuruan City. This program aims to increase awareness of dental and oral health in grade 1 students through educational activities and direct practice of correct tooth brushing. By actively involving students, this program provides an in-depth understanding of the importance of maintaining dental hygiene from an early age. The results of this activity show an increase in students' understanding of the importance of maintaining healthy teeth, as evidenced by changes in students' behavior in brushing their teeth. This article emphasizes the importance of dental health education interventions at the elementary school level to form healthy living habits.

This article explores a sustainable education program in mustard green cultivation implemented through collaboration between local residents and UNIWARA KKN (Community Service Program) students in Kelurahan Karanganyar. The program aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of local residents in sustainable mustard green cultivation techniques, including the use of appropriate growing media, efficient irrigation techniques, and the management of pests and plant diseases without harmful chemicals. The method used in this study is **Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR)**: working together with local residents and engaging in hands-on field practice to apply proper cultivation techniques. The research shows that this educational program not only successfully improves local residents' knowledge and skills in mustard green cultivation but also strengthens the relationship between the community and academics. Active community participation in this program results in significant positive impacts, including a reduction in the use of synthetic chemicals, increased crop yields, and more environmentally friendly agriculture

The ceriping MSMEs in Kedungasri Village, Kendal Regency, have played an important role in the transformation of the local economy. Through innovation and appropriate business strategies, these businesses have not only managed to maintain their production sustainability, but have also been able to grow in the face of increasingly competitive market challenges. Innovations include product diversification, application of simple technology in the production process, and improved packaging quality. Meanwhile, business strategies include strengthening marketing networks, utilizing digital platforms, and improving human resource skills. This transformation has had a significant impact on increasing community income and reducing the unemployment rate in Kedungasri Village, making the ceriping MSMEs the driving force of a sustainable village economy.

Dental health problems and a lack of handwashing with soap remain issues among elementary school students in Desa Sojomerto. This study implemented a Toothbrushing and Handwashing with Soap Movement program to address these problems. Through a series of educational activities and hands-on practice, the program aimed to change students' behaviors towards cleanliness and health. The research results showed a significant increase in toothbrushing frequency, correct handwashing techniques, and students' knowledge of the importance of hygiene.

The Community Service Program (KKN) of UIN Walisongo in Sendang Dawung Village, Kendal Regency, aims to develop the local economy by strengthening Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Intensive discussions with the village community identified various local potentials, such as agricultural products, handicrafts, and traditional processed foods. However, challenges faced include limited capital, restricted market access, and a lack of managerial skills. To address these issues, a series of workshops and mentoring programs were designed, covering business management training, product quality improvement, business digitalization, and ongoing support. Additionally, collaboration with various local stakeholders, such as the Cooperative and MSME Office and financial institutions, was established to enhance support for village MSMEs. The results of this program are expected to increase the competitiveness of MSME products, open up broader market access, and ultimately improve the welfare of the Sendang Dawung Village community

Crime is a growing social problem that needs to be addressed seriously. One way to prevent crime is through religious education. Religious education plays an important role in shaping personal character based on moral and ethical values, thus preventing deviant behavior early on. This study aims to explore an effective religious education model in instilling moral and spiritual values as a preventive effort against criminal behavior. The research method used is a qualitative approach that combines documentary analysis and case studies of religious education institutions in Johorejo Village, Gemuh District, Kendal Regency. The findings show that structured and consistent religious education, which internalizes values such as honesty, responsibility, and tolerance, is very helpful in reducing the tendency of criminal behavior. In addition, the active participation of families and communities in the religious education process is an important factor in strengthening these values. Therefore, the development of a comprehensive and sustainable religious education model is an effective strategy to prevent social crime..

The Ngudi Lestari Waste Bank program, located in Tinjomoyo Village, Banyumanik Subdistrict, Semarang City, is an innovative effort to address the increasingly pressing waste problem in urban environments. This waste bank serves as a center for waste collection, sorting, and processing, transforming waste into economically valuable resources and educating the community on the importance of recycling and waste management.This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method to evaluate the Ngudi Lestari Waste Bank initiative. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using triangulation techniques. The results indicate that Ngudi Lestari Waste Bank is effective in raising environmental awareness, changing community behavior patterns, and strengthening social solidarity. Support from the government is crucial in expanding and optimizing the program's impact. With various future development plans, this initiative is expected to become a sustainable waste management model and be adopted by other regions, as well as a concrete example for waste management solutions at the local level.

B3 waste is the residue of a business activity that contains hazardous or toxic materials due to chemical concentrations, properties and amounts that are harmful to human health and can damage the environment if not managed properly. In Karawang Regency, it is alleged that there is a criminal act of disposing of hazardous and toxic waste (B3) without a permit so that it endangers human health and damages the environment. B3) Without a Permit in Purwakarta Regency The method used in this research is normative juridical with the nature of descriptive research and technical analysis of legal materials used is a qualitative analysis technique, meaning that the analysis does not depend on numbers based on numbers, but collects data from the previously mentioned legal materials, qualifying them, connecting them with the problems discussed, then draw conclusions from the research results. The results of the first study indicate that B3 waste (hazardous and toxic materials) is the residue of a business activity that contains hazardous or toxic materials due to chemical concentrations, properties and amounts that are harmful to human health and can damage the environment if not managed properly. Criminal Sanctions Against Perpetrators of Criminal Acts of Disposal of Hazardous and Toxic Materials (B3) Permit In Purwakarta Regency, in this case the PT Assa Peper case through court decision No. 55/PID.B/LH/2016/PN.PWK, the defendant AS as Director was sentenced to 10 (ten) months in prison and a fine of Rp. 100,000,000. provided that if the fine is not paid, it must be replaced with imprisonment for 2 (two) months.

The population of preschool children in Indonesia is around 10% of the total population. The quality of growth and development of preschool children in Indonesia needs serious attention because they are the future generation of the nation. For this reason, children need to receive good nutrition, adequate stimulation and access to quality health services. including early detection and intervention of growth and development deviations, so that they can grow and develop optimally in accordance with their genetic potential and be able to compete in the global era

The village website has an important role in providing transparent and accurate information to the public. Websites as a means of public information have proven effective in increasing citizen involvement in local government. Websites are also an effective means of conveying educational and informative information to the public. The creation of the Pager Agung Village profile website aims to increase the accessibility of public information, such as administrative services, current news, and community activities. Through this community service program, we design and implement a user-friendly and responsive website. The design of this system applies the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. The results of this activity show an increase in citizen satisfaction with access to information and participation in village activities. In addition, this website has also increased the transparency of the village in managing public activities and funds.
