A good company is one that takes care of its employees. If employees feel uncomfortable working in the company, it can cause the risk of employee turnover intention in a company. A high turnover intention rate can hinder the achievement of company goals. Supriadi, Trang, and Rogi (2021:1217) explain that turnover intention is a situation where employees of an organization have plans to leave their jobs, or the tendency for employees to voluntarily stop working from their jobs according to their own choice. In the novel Resign by Almira Bastari tells the story of an employee who is tired of working from a company and wants to Resign from the company immediately. From the novel, the researcher aims to analyze the factors that cause the turniver intention of company employees in the novel using qualitative descriptive methods. Qualitative descriptive method is a research procedure that can produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words of people and behavior that has been observed (Moleong, 2018: 4). The results of the analysis that has been carried out by researchers found that there are 4 factors that cause turnover intention in the novel, namely workload, job satisfaction, unsupportive leadership style, and compensation. The conclusion of this study is that a company cannot run without employees, therefore to achieve the goals of the company, it is important for companies to pay attention to the condition of their employees so that employees can work as much as possible and reduce the risk of turnover intention in the company.

The approach in this research is quantitative. The population comes from 5 private universities in Medan City, totaling 728 students. The sampling technique used cluster sampling, where 258 educational staff were used as research samples. The data analysis technique for this research uses statistical analysis, namely the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM), which aims to carry out path analysis with latent variables. The results of data analysis show that the adaptation of green culture directly has a significant effect on employee work productivity. Then, turnover intention hurts employee work productivity. Finally, indirect turnover intention does not significantly mediate the adaptation of green culture on employee work productivity. The implications of the findings in this research show that green cultural adaptation currently needs to be carried out by private universities. The provision of green open space and green cultural values at the private higher education level in Medan City has yet to be consistently and sustainably implemented.

Every company definitely wants good and adequate quality human resources, with the existence of quality human resources makes the company able to compete with other companies. According to Firdaus (Putra et al., n.d.). Therefore the welfare of employees is also very important to note.Especially in giving workload to employees. Each work unit has a different workload. A workload that is too high can cause an employee to become stressed, not to mention the job demands given by the company so that its employees give the best results. Each individual has different resilience to the workload and responsibilities given, the higher the workload given, the higher the stress level that will be experienced by the individual, conversely the lower the workload given, the lower the stress level. A high workload can make employees decide to quit or leave the company and look for a better company. This situation is also known as intensive turnover. In the case of Indonesia, the phenomenon of turnover intention is well recognized by both academics and practitioners. Every year there are around 10-12% of employees who turn over.

The rapid growth of digital startup companies in Indonesia brings its own challenges in human resource (HR) management, especially related to workload and organizational commitment. High work dynamics, aggressive targets, and intense operational pressure can cause an imbalance in workload that impacts motivation, work stress, and increased turnover intention. HR commitment is a key factor in startup success, but it is difficult to achieve without effective and humane workload management. This community service activity was carried out by Karangturi National University (UNKARTUR), through the Faculty of Economics, Business and Humanities (FEBHum), which aims to improve the understanding, skills, and awareness of digital startup entrepreneurs and employees in Bugangan Village, Semarang, regarding workload management strategies. The methods used include workshops, group discussions, and direct assistance. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the impact of disproportionate workloads, as well as the ability to implement efficient and sustainable work strategies. This activity also encourages collaboration between academics and practitioners in designing a healthy and adaptive work environment. With better workload management, it is hoped that the level of commitment, satisfaction, and retention of employees in digital startups can increase, while strengthening the competitiveness of local businesses in the era of digital transformation.
