This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of Aisyiyah Kindergarten teachers in developing their potential and professional competence related to the implementation of inclusive education. Inclusive education requires teachers to have a sufficient understanding of the characteristics of children with special needs (ABK) and the ability to manage diverse students in the classroom. This activity was implemented in the form of systematically designed and applicable workshops and seminars. The training materials covered four main components: recognizing the characteristics of children with special needs, the concepts and principles of inclusive education, curriculum accommodations and assessments in inclusive classrooms, and techniques for identifying and evaluating learning for children with special needs. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding and skills in managing inclusive classrooms, particularly in developing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) tailored to the needs of the children. Teachers also became more confident in implementing adaptive and responsive learning strategies to the diversity of students. However, the sustainability of the program still faces several challenges, including limited supporting resources and minimal parental involvement and support. Therefore, ongoing synergy between schools, parents, and other stakeholders is needed to support the optimal implementation of inclusive education.

This study examines the application of double integrals in calculating the volume of cylindrical concrete piles as a basis for estimating material requirements in building foundation structures. The volume calculation was carried out using a double-integral approach in polar coordinates for three pile segments with lengths of 4 m, 3.9 m, and 4 m, each having a diameter of 60 cm. The results were then validated using the standard geometric formula to ensure consistency and mathematical reliability. The obtained concrete volume was subsequently used to estimate material needs based on a 1:1.5:3 mix proportion consisting of cement, sand, and gravel. The findings indicate that double integrals can be effectively applied to generate accurate estimations of both volume and material requirements, supporting logistical planning in construction. This approach also highlights the strong connection between mathematical concepts—particularly multivariable calculus—and practical applications in civil engineering. Furthermore, the study emphasizes that double integrals may serve as a relevant alternative when structural modeling requires deeper analytical exploration or validation beyond conventional geometry. Therefore, the implementation of double integrals not only reinforces theoretical understanding but also enhances precision in evaluating structural components within building foundation planning.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of video animation-based flipped classroom learning model in increasing students' learning interest in science subjects with material on the structure and function of living organisms in class 8D at SMPN 1 Sanrobone. The low interest in learning science among students is a major problem that needs to be addressed through more attractive and interactive learning innovations. The video animation-based flipped classroom model was chosen because it can optimize classroom learning time for more meaningful activities, while basic concept understanding is done independently through engaging animated videos. This study uses a survey method with a descriptive quantitative approach. The research subjects were  students of class 8D SMPN 1 Sanrobone in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Research instruments used learning interest questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of video animation-based flipped classroom model was able to increase students' learning interest with high categories in aspects of attention, interest, involvement, and learning satisfaction. Animated videos presented before face-to-face learning provide clear visualizations of the structure and function of living organisms, making students more prepared and enthusiastic to participate in discussions and practical activities in class. This learning model also encourages student learning independence and increases active interaction in learning. This study recommends the implementation of video animation-based flipped classroom as an alternative effective and innovative science learning strategy to increase students' learning interest.

The integration of information and communication technology (ICT) is essential for supporting student-centered learning and developing 21st-century skills. However, many primary school teachers still experience difficulties in implementing ICT meaningfully due to limited digital pedagogical competence and a lack of contextualized professional development, particularly in primary and Islamic school contexts. This study aims to explore the implementation and outcomes of an ICT-based teacher training programs conducted through a field study approach, focusing on its influence on teachers’ digital pedagogical competence and instructional practices. A qualitative descriptive field study design was employed. Participants were primary school teachers from an Islamic public school in Indonesia who took part in a six-session ICT training programs. Data were collected through observations, documentation of teachers’ digital products, and reflective field notes, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal improvements in teachers’ pedagogical understanding of ICT, technical skills, and readiness for classroom implementation. Teachers produced various ICT-based learning media aligned with instructional objectives, including interactive quizzes, game-based activities, visual materials, animated videos, and digital classrooms. High levels of engagement and collaboration were observed despite infrastructural challenges. Field-based, practice-oriented ICT training effectively bridges technological skills and pedagogical application, supporting sustainable digital pedagogy in primary education.

This article delves into the application of gamification in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) for primary school students, focusing on its impact on motivation, emotional engagement, and learning psychology. It offers a systematic review of relevant studies, evaluating both the positive outcomes and challenges of using gamification in IRE. A thorough library research approach was used, drawing from academic journals, books, and conference papers. Key databases like Google Scholar, JSTOR, and ERIC were searched to identify studies published between 2010 and 2025. Studies that met specific criteria relevance to the topic, educational level, and a focus on gamification, motivation, emotional engagement, and learning psychology were selected. The findings suggest that gamification in IRE can significantly enhance student motivation, emotional engagement, and learning outcomes. Elements such as rewards, challenges, and interactive activities help create a positive learning environment, promoting better retention and understanding of Islamic teachings. Emotional engagement is particularly heightened when gamification is tailored to the cultural and religious contexts of the students, fostering a deeper connection to the material. The study emphasizes that incorporating gamification in IRE could enhance the overall educational experience for primary students, boosting their motivation and emotional involvement in learning. It also highlights the importance of designing gamified content that is culturally relevant and contextually appropriate to maximize the positive effects on student learning. The study recommends that educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers consider using gamification to improve the quality of Islamic education in primary schools.

The main objective of the Citizenship Education (PKn) course in higher education is to develop students into individuals with nationalist, participatory, and critical characters towards national dynamics. Conventional learning approaches that are still dominant in higher education, such as one-way lectures and memorization of materials, are considered less able to encourage active participation and the development of critical thinking patterns of students in the Citizenship Education (PKn) course. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the application of innovative learning methods in improving students' activeness and critical thinking skills. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with lecturers and students, and analysis of lecture documents from three study programs at Merdeka University of Malang. The results of the study showed that the application of learning strategies such as Project Based Learning, role playing, utilization of interactive multimedia, collaborative discussions, and nationality-based simulations were able to significantly increase students' participation and critical understanding. This method is relevant to the needs of learning in the era of globalization that demands digital literacy, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and contextual problem solving. Based on these findings, this study recommends the integration of innovative methods into the Civics curriculum in higher education, pedagogical training for lecturers, and the provision of technological infrastructure that supports the implementation of competency-based learning in the era of globalization.

Reading literacy in early childhood is an important foundation for children's cognitive, language, and social development in subsequent educational stages. Literacy in early childhood can begin through letter recognition, fostering interest in printed materials, enriching vocabulary, and developing oral communication skills. At this stage, the initial skill that needs to be developed is the introduction of written language through reading activities tailored to the child's developmental characteristics. However, early childhood's ability to understand reading literacy shows significant differences, both in terms of interest, ability, and environmental support. This condition indicates that reading literacy understanding in early childhood is not evenly distributed. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide reading literacy education to early childhood through a fun, interactive, and contextual approach. The activity methods include reading assistance, the use of visual media, and the active involvement of educators and parents. The results of the activity show an increase in reading interest, letter recognition skills, and children's positive responses to literacy activities. This activity is expected to be a sustainable effort to support the strengthening of reading literacy in early childhood education.

This research aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of Grade VII B students at SMP Darul Ulum 5 Rebalas through the implementation of Madurese language-based ethnomathematics. The study is motivated by the students' difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts delivered in formal Indonesian, as their daily communication relies on the specific Madurese dialect of Rebalas Village. This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this research were 28 students from class VII B. The research instruments included test instruments in the form of group Student Worksheets (LKPD) and observation sheets for both teacher and student activities. The material focused on the topic of Lines and Angles. The results indicated an improvement in student learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II. In Cycle I, the average group score was 80.2, which increased to 88 in Cycle II. Observations of student activities also showed a shift from passive participation in Cycle I to active and enthusiastic engagement in Cycle II. Furthermore, teacher observations showed significant improvement; initial issues regarding time management and excessive workloads were resolved, resulting in more enthusiastic and punctual teaching delivery. These findings demonstrate that the use of Madurese-based ethnomathematics helps students grasp mathematical terms more easily, increases discussion participation, and creates a more comfortable and interactive classroom atmosphere, thereby leading to improved learning outcomes.

This study aims to evaluate the implementation and impact of an English training workshop for early childhood education teachers in Surakarta. The study employed a program evaluation design using a qualitative descriptive approach involving twenty playgroup and kindergarten teachers. The workshop was conducted over four days and was designed based on a needs analysis obtained through a pre-test and preliminary interviews. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test results, reflective questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews. The qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that the workshop had a positive impact on participants’ English proficiency as well as their affective aspects, particularly their confidence in using English in the classroom. The thematic analysis identified three main themes: emotional responses, understanding of the material, and collaboration. Participants demonstrated increased enthusiasm, reduced anxiety, and improved self-confidence. Contextual and practical materials helped participants connect theoretical concepts with classroom practice. Furthermore, interactive activities and collaborative discussions strengthened professional engagement and peer learning. These findings confirm that structured and needs-based training is effective in supporting the sustainable professional development of early childhood education teachers and contributes to improving the quality of English instruction in the classroom.

In general, school students buy snacks in the school canteen or street vendors (PKL) around the school. 2 The types of food sold are varied, ranging from healthy snacks to unhealthy snacks so that they can attract students to consume school snacks. Healthy snacks are foods that have sufficient and balanced nutrition and do not contain (contaminated) elements that can harm or damage health. This community service activity aims to educate healthy eating patterns to prevent food and drinks containing microbial contamination at Mariana Catholic High School, Medan. The method used is an educational approach through health counseling, interactive discussions, and demonstrations of hygienic practices, especially correct handwashing techniques and the importance of maintaining personal hygiene and the school environment. This activity was attended by 40 students as participants. The evaluation of the activity focused on one main indicator, namely student participation in hygienic behavior practices as a form of direct application of the material that has been given. The results of the activity showed that all participants (100%) followed the demonstrated hygienic practices, which indicates a very high level of participation and enthusiasm. These findings indicate that educational methods accompanied by hands-on practice are effective in increasing understanding and encouraging the adoption of clean and healthy living behaviors. Community service activities at Mariana Catholic High School in Medan have been shown to increase students' knowledge about the dangers of microbial contamination and the development of hygienic behaviors in daily life. Structured and ongoing education is an effective preventive measure to create a healthy and clean school environment.

This Community Service Program (PKM) was conducted with the primary objective of enhancing understanding, awareness, and skills among youth in Parangloe District in preventing drug abuse. Drug abuse has become one of the greatest threats to the development of young generations in Indonesia, including in Parangloe District, which has begun to show indicators of increasing risk. This activity focused on education-based prevention efforts and youth empowerment through a peer educator approach, whereby youth were trained to become agents capable of disseminating information and positive influence within their communities. The program was implemented through a series of socialization sessions, seminars, interactive discussions, and peer youth training. The materials provided covered understanding various types of drugs, causal factors of abuse, health impacts, social and legal consequences, and prevention strategies applicable at the family, school, and community levels. The results demonstrated increased participant knowledge, formation of Peer Youth Groups Concerned with Anti-Drug Efforts, and growing commitment to undertake sustainable prevention measures. This PKM activity had a significant impact on strengthening social resilience in Parangloe District and building an active role for youth as pioneers of the anti-drug movement.

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to provide direct socialization and mentoring to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) actors in Biring Ere Village to enhance the quality and sustainability of their businesses. MSMEs play a vital role in the village economy as drivers of local economic growth and employment. However, various obstacles such as limited access to capital, low quality of human resources, restricted market access, lack of product innovation, and weak business management remain major barriers. This community service activity was conducted through interactive socialization methods, skills training, direct mentoring, and focused group discussions involving MSME actors, village heads, village officials, and the general community. The materials presented included business development strategies, basic financial management, product marketing techniques, product innovation and diversification, and access to capital. The results demonstrated increased understanding among MSME actors regarding business development strategies, heightened motivation to innovate, formation of collaborative business groups, and enhanced awareness of the importance of sound business management. This program has had a significant impact on empowering the community's economy and strengthening the capacity of MSME actors in Biring Ere Village to face global economic challenges.

Madhhab fanaticism in Islamic education, which appears in fiqh teaching practices that tend to absolutize a single madhhab, restrict dialogical space, and insufficiently appreciate the diversity of scholarly opinions. Such conditions may foster exclusive and intolerant religious attitudes among students. To respond to this problem, the study employs a qualitative approach with a library research design by critically examining books, journal articles, and documents related to fiqh madhhabs, Islamic education, religious moderation, and multicultural education. The data are analyzed using content analysis and descriptive–analytical techniques to map the forms of madhhab fanaticism in the learning process, the stages of transformation in madhhab understanding, and the pedagogical strategies that support the emergence of tolerant attitudes. The findings indicate that the transformation toward a more tolerant understanding of madhhabs is supported by curricula that accommodate comparative fiqh (multi-madhhab), inclusive learning materials, dialogical teaching methods, and teachers’ role modeling of moderate attitudes. Inhibiting factors include deeply rooted madhhab fanaticism, the dominance of conservative curricula, ideological bias in textbooks, and a weak culture of critical thinking. It is concluded that strengthening fiqh instructional design that consciously integrates religious moderation and multicultural education is essential for shifting madhhab understanding from patterns of fanaticism to patterns of tolerance within Islamic educational institutions.

This community service project aims to develop children's potential through the art of coloring as an effective educational tool to enhance social and cultural understanding. The activity was held at Jl. Binalatung, RT 11, Pantai Amal, Tarakan Timur, a coastal area that is also a border region. The background for this project is the limited access of children in this area to creative activities that could support their personal development and awareness of social and cultural diversity. A coloring competition was chosen as the approach, involving 30 participants from kindergarten to elementary school age, many of whom do not continue to formal education.Using a participatory method, children were not only invited to color but were also given an understanding of the meanings and cultural values embedded in each image. Furthermore, the activity was designed to foster a sense of togetherness, sportsmanship, and self-confidence. The results showed very high enthusiasm from the participants. They were not only able to produce beautiful artworks but also demonstrated an increased understanding of the importance of appreciating differences and cultural diversity. This report proves that the art of coloring plays a crucial role as a tool to bridge the knowledge gap and foster cultural awareness, especially for children in remote and border areas who have limited access to education and educational entertainment. Therefore, it is recommended that similar programs be continued with more varied materials to support the holistic development of children in coastal regions.

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance character, life skills, and family capacity in supporting youth development in Parangloe District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. The family entrepreneurship training activity was conducted through an educational approach, skills training, family workshops, and structured mentoring by involving youth as agents of change. Implementation methods included material presentations on the dangers of drugs, socialization of youth-family collaboration, exposition of entrepreneurship concepts, and hands-on practice in making handicrafts (mini brooches from felt fabric). The activity results demonstrated increased knowledge and understanding among youth regarding positive character values such as discipline, responsibility, and effective communication. Skills training had a significant impact on youth abilities in critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity development. Family empowerment through parenting pattern workshops yielded positive outcomes in parent-child relationships. This program is expected to serve as a model for human resource development at the local level and can be replicated in other regions to create a young generation with excellent character and competitive edge.

Background: One way to improve human quality, especially for school-aged children, is by providing nutritious snacks that can meet nutritional needs during learning activities. In Indonesia, many snacks are available in school environments, but many of them are unhealthy when viewed from the color and ingredients used. Community Service Objective: Provide health education about healthy snacks. Method: The method used in this community service activity is lecture and question and answer, to provide an understanding of the importance of choosing healthy snacks for school-aged children. Results: Providing education about healthy snacks increased the understanding of children at MIN 25 Aceh Besar. Children responded well and several students asked questions related to the material about healthy snacks presented. Conclusion: The understanding of MIN 25 Aceh Besar students about healthy snacks increased after participating in the counseling activity. Students showed a higher interest and awareness of the importance of choosing healthy snacks for their health. Keywords; Health Education, Healthy Snacks

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the delivery of da'wah messages to young people. Audiovisual media has become an effective means of attracting interest, enhancing understanding, and increasing the participation of mosque youth in development activities. This service aims to analyze the use of audiovisual media as a means of developing mosque youth at Barisan Mujahid Matita (BMM), Medan. The method used is a qualitative approach through observation and audiovisual production training, which can improve the skills of young people in creating da'wah content, strengthen understanding of development material, and boost enthusiasm in participating in mosque activities. In addition, audiovisual media has proven to help BMM enhance the quality of documentation and publication of activities. Vocational education in Vocational High Schools (SMK) requires innovative, interactive, and industry-relevant learning media to support students’ independent and competency-based learning. However, learning activities in the subject Communication in the Workplace for Grade XI MPLB at SMKN 62 Jakarta are still dominated by lecture-based methods with limited instructional media, resulting in low levels of student independence and understanding. This study aimed to develop and examine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of an interactive e-book based on Canva for Oral Communication materials in Indonesian Language. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects included 36 students in the needs analysis stage, 5 students in the small-scale trial, and 31 students in the large-scale trial. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The validation results indicated that the Canva-based interactive e-book was categorized as very feasible, with validation percentages of 100% from the material expert, 88.24% from the media expert, and 95% from the language expert. The small-scale trial showed a practicality percentage of 82.2%, while the large-scale trial reached 88.39%, both classified as very practical. In addition, the pre-test and post-test results in the large-scale trial demonstrated an increase in students’ average scores and a higher number of students achieving the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). Innovation in biology learning is increasingly necessary, as conventional instructional practices are often dominated by memorization-based methods that limit students’ active engagement and critical thinking development. Along with rapid advances in science and technology, digital applications offer new opportunities to enhance teaching and learning processes. One such application is Canva, a digital design platform that can be utilized as an effective learning media to support teachers and students in biology education. This study aims to describe the implementation of Canva-based learning media through a training program conducted at SMA Islam Terpadu Daarul Rahman and to examine its perceived usefulness for both teachers and students. The training involved teachers in developing biology learning materials using Canva by integrating visual elements, images, and videos to present complex biological concepts more clearly. The results of the training indicate that Canva is considered practical, user-friendly, and efficient by teachers in designing learning materials. Teachers reported that the application helped them present content in a more attractive and structured manner. Furthermore, students benefited from the use of Canva-based materials, as they demonstrated better understanding of the subject matter and increased interest in learning biology. The integration of visual and multimedia elements also supported the development of students’ critical thinking skills by encouraging analysis and interpretation of biological phenomena. Overall, the use of Canva as a learning medium shows potential to enhance the quality of biology learning and foster more meaningful learning experiences.
