The integration of Islamic education into a nation’s educational system represents a strategic effort to align religious and national educational objectives under a unified policy framework. In many Muslim-majority countries, the responsibility for managing Islamic education is delegated to local governments as part of a broader national consensus involving various educational stakeholders. This arrangement, however, often raises tensions because education policy is inherently a political decision influenced by state interests and ideological considerations. The process of incorporating Islamic education within the national system reflects the dynamic interplay between religion and politics, where Islamic education both shapes and is shaped by political structures. This study explores how political power affects the development, autonomy, and implementation of Islamic education policies. The objective is to highlight the challenges of maintaining educational freedom and religious authenticity while ensuring state oversight and quality assurance. The findings emphasize that a deep understanding of educational politics enables Muslim educators and policymakers to advocate for Islamic education that aligns with Islamic principles yet remains relevant within the national educational framework. Therefore, the balance between state control and institutional independence is essential in realizing the holistic goals of Islamic education in contemporary society.

This study examines the SteCu Song (Aesthetic and Cultural Studies by Civitas) as a form of aesthetic movement that combines art, music, and Islamic philosophy. Through a historical-hermeneutic approach, the main question asked is: how can the SteCu Song be read as an aesthetic practice that is in line with the principles of Islamic music philosophy, especially as stated in the Book of al-Musiqa al-Kabir by al-Farabi? This study aims to examine the relationship between contemporary musical expression in the SteCu Song with aesthetic and ethical concepts in classical Islamic philosophy. The method used is descriptive qualitative with text analysis and musical practice, as well as a theoretical approach that refers to al-Farabi's thoughts on music as a means of forming the soul and morals. The main theoretical framework in this study is the theory of harmony of the soul and the educational function of music according to al-Farabi, which is combined with the theory of art as a medium of social meaning. The results of the study show that SteCu Songs are not only a form of artistic expression, but also contain educational and spiritual dimensions that are in line with al-Farabi's idea of music as a means of purifying the soul (tazkiyat al-nafs). These songs present moral reflections, values of togetherness, and calls for goodness, thus placing musical art in the context of progressive cultural da'wah. This study recommends the development of similar musical works as a medium for learning Islamic philosophy that is applicable and contextual.

Education is the main foundation in the formation of character and quality of human resources throughout the world. However, the development of technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), has presented new challenges in the world of education, especially in maintaining the academic integrity of students. The convenience offered by AI is often used unethically, such as in plagiarism or manipulation of academic assignments. This phenomenon encourages the importance of an alternative approach that does not only rely on policy and supervision, but also instills strong moral values. This study examines the relevance of the Islamic educational psychology approach in strengthening the academic integrity of students in the AI era. This approach offers solutions based on Islamic values such as muraqabah (awareness of Allah's supervision), muhasabah (self-evaluation), and the habituation of noble morals. The study was conducted using a library research method by analyzing literature related to academic integrity, AI technology, and Islamic educational psychology, including the thoughts of Imam Al-Ghazali. The results of the study show that the Islamic values taught by Al-Ghazali are very relevant in overcoming the challenges of academic integrity caused by the development of AI technology. The principle of muraqabah helps students understand the ethical implications of their academic actions, while muhasabah encourages self-reflection to improve behavior. In addition, the habituation of values such as honesty and responsibility provides a long-term solution in shaping students' characters. This conclusion emphasizes the importance of integrating Islamic values into the higher education curriculum to create an academic environment with integrity and ethics amidst the advancement of modern technology.

The prospects of Islamic banking in Indonesia, when viewed from the real sector, are quite positive. Because, the operationalization of Islamic education does not matter! interest, and the income comes from the retum for the harvest! for projects financed or margin financing the sale and purchase of goods. In this way, it can be ascertained, that theoretically Islamic banking is very interested in encouraging the progress of the nile sector. The most important thing for Islamic banking is that no matter how advanced and developed it is, it will never leave the real sector, because it is from this sector that banking activities emerge. Unlike the conventional banking system, the monetary sector has grown far away from the real sector of Inl. This is because, with interest, money has shifted from just a medium of exchange to a commodity.

Education plays an important role in building a generation that is intelligent, virtuous, and capable of facing the challenges of the times. However, education cannot be separated from social and cultural factors, where social and cultural conditions themselves have an impact on education. One such case occurred during the colonial era, when the colonial government had a significant influence in shaping the educational system in Indonesia at that time. Education was essentially divided into two: formal school education, which focused only on worldly knowledge, and education in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), which taught only religious knowledge. Due to this situation, K.H. Ahmad Dahlan was moved to reform Islamic education. This research aims to explore K.H. Ahmad Dahlan's thoughts on education and to understand his efforts in the process of reforming Islamic education. The research uses a literature study method, where data is obtained from writings such as books, journal articles, and other supporting texts related to the issue. The results of the study show that K.H. Ahmad Dahlan had his own educational philosophy, in which religious knowledge and worldly knowledge were seen as an integrated whole. K.H. Ahmad Dahlan’s struggle can be seen from his efforts to establish a school that integrated both religious and worldly knowledge. His contribution to educational reform is still felt today, as educational institutions under Muhammadiyah have spread across Indonesia. Muhammadiyah itself is an organization founded by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan, which serves as a platform or means for his struggle.

Experts say that human fundamentals, including the role of the economy, must form the foundation of educational philosophy and practice. Education is both a human need and a symptom. In the sense that without education, a person cannot be considered a true human being and cannot carry out their role as a valuable human being in their daily life. Creating a flawless Muslim human being in the sense of al-insan al-kamil—that is, a person who is constantly istiqomah and continuously proficient in using their bodily and spiritual abilities to always submit to and obey Allah SWT—is the ultimate goal of the Essence of Humanity program in Islamic education.

The leadership of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in Islamic education is a very relevant example to this day. Through his leadership characteristics which include honesty, trustworthiness, gentle firmness, and noble morals, the Prophet Muhammad SAW succeeded in transforming the divided Arab society of Jahiliyah into one people united in Islamic values. He led with a clear vision and mature strategy, creating an education system that prioritizes the development of character, morals, and knowledge. The Islamic education inherited by the Prophet Muhammad SAW not only includes religious knowledge, but also general knowledge that gave birth to various great scientists during the golden age of Islam. The legacy of his leadership is evident in his broad influence on the development of Islamic civilization. His success in establishing the Islamic Khilafah State and introducing the values of justice, compassion, and the spirit of seeking knowledge became the foundation for the development of science that was very advanced at that time. This study examines the adaptation of Islamic education curriculum in madrasahs in facing the challenges of modern development. The main focus is on the limitations that hinder the implementation of relevant curriculum, including resource limitations and integration between religious knowledge and science. This study is categorized as qualitative, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of written words. Literature research or also called library research is a type of research that limits activities only to library collection materials and document studies without requiring field data (field research). Through a qualitative approach, this study suggests the need for curriculum updates involving digital technology, improving teacher competency, and collaborating with industry. This study also highlights the importance of developing digital literacy skills and critical thinking to prepare students for the global workforce. This study found that the main challenges in adapting Islamic education curriculum in madrasahs do not guarantee the absence of human resources, limited facilities, and resistance to change. The importance of technology integration, strengthening teacher competency, and collaboration between madrasahs, families, and communities are also revealed as factors that can increase the effectiveness of the curriculum. In addition, a curriculum is needed that supports 21st century skills to face the development of the times.
