The role of the teacher is a person who occupies a position and plays an important role in the world of education. Teachers act as mentors in their duties, namely educating. Catholic religious teachers in their duties and roles carry out multiple missions, namely as preachers and educators. As a preacher, a Catholic religious teacher takes part of the prophetic task of proclaiming the news of God's Salvation. While as an educator, the task of PAK teachers is to lead students to maturity both physical maturity and spiritual maturity. the research used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with the aim of analyzing how the role of PAK in the education of faith and character of children at school with data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman model. The emphasis of Catholic religious teacher education leads to three aspects, namely knowledge, skills, and attitudes that occur in the teaching and learning process systematically. So that character education is expected to be able to form a generation whose existence provides the widest possible benefit to the surrounding environment. Character education in essence is to form a nation that is resilient, competitive, noble, moral, tolerant, mutual cooperation, political spirit, dynamically developing, science and technology oriented, all of which are imbued with faith and piety to God Almighty based on Pancasila.

The aim of this research is to determine the achievements of classroom management carried out by PAK teachers in increasing the learning interest of class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tebing Tinggi for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that classroom management by PAK and Budi Pekerti teachers will increase the learning interest of class. Hypothesis testing using the t test formula obtained the value tcount=4.091>ttable=2.021. The tcount value is in the curve area of ​​rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. Thus, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted, namely classroom management by PAK and Budi Pekerti teachers in increasing the interest in learning of class The achievement of classroom management by PAK and Budi Pekerti teachers in increasing the interest in learning of class.

The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of a positive and significant effect of PAK Teacher as a Facilitator on the learning motivation of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pakkat Kab. Humbang Hasundutan Learning Year 2023/2024. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research method. The population was all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pakkat as many as 54 people and the entire population was used as respondents in the study. Data were collected using a positive closed questionnaire of 34 items, namely 13 items for variable X and 21 items for variable Y. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of PAK teachers as facilitators on the learning motivation of seventh grade students of SMP N 3 Pakkat Kab. Humbang Hasundutan Learning year 2023/2024: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy = 0.529> rtable (=0.05, n=54)=0.226. b) significant relationship test obtained tcount = 4.497> ttable (=0.05, dk=n-2=52)=2.000. 2) Effect test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Y ̂="2" 9, "37"+0.88X. b) Regression determination coefficient test (r2) =28%. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The aim of this research is to determine the magnitude of the influence of the personality competence of Christian Religious Education teachers on the behavior of class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tapian Nauli for the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method. The population is all students in class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Tapian Nauli for the 2022/2023 academic year who are Christians, totaling 35 people. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 55 items, namely 35 items for variable 2022/2023: 1) Test analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy = 0.578 > rtable(a=0.05,n=35) = 0.334. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained tcount= 4.071 > ttable(a=0.05,dk=n-2=33)= 2.042. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="25.25"+0.37X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 33.4%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(a=0.05, dk numerator k=22, dk denominator=n-2=35-2=33) namely 16.54 > 1.62. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The research aims to determine the positive influence of PAK teachers as communicators on the Christian moral development of students in class XI of the Soposurung Balige Foundation Vocational School for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive influence between PAK teachers as communicators on the Christian moral development of students in class. Quantitative research methods. The population of all class XI students at Soposurung Foundation Vocational School for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 57 people. This research is population research. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: 1) regression equation. 2) The determination test revealed that the influence was 41.34%. 3) Testing the hypothesis obtained tcount=6.168>ttable=2.000, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, namely that there is a positive influence between PAK teachers as communicators on the Christian moral development of class XI students at Soposurung Foundation Vocational School for the 2023/2024 academic year.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of PAK Teachers' Professional Competence on the Learning Interest of Class IX Students of SMP Negeri 2 Nainggolan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The method used is quantitative with descriptive statistics with a population of all grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Nainggolan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year totaling 65 people and set the sample to be total so that it is a population study. Data was collected with a positive closed questionnaire of 40 items.  The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence of PAK Teacher Professional Competence on the Learning Interest of Class IX Students of SMP Negeri 2 Nainggolan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test the relationship between variable X and variable Y obtained the value rxy = 0.776 > rtabel(=0.05; IK=95%; n = 65) = 0.244 thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Ŷ = 18.917 + 0.738X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 60.2%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the r test obtained by calculating > rtable, which is 0.776 > 0.244. Thus, the hypothesis put forward in this study can be accepted, namely that there is an influence of PAK Teacher Professional Competence on the Learning Interest of Class IX Students of SMP Negeri 2 Nainggolan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The implication of the research results is that if to increase students' interest in learning, PAK teachers must improve their professionalism.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive influence of the implementation of the Scramble Model learning by PAK teachers on the learning interest of class IX students at SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a descriptive inferential statistical approach. The population is all 103 class IX students of SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians and a sample of 28 people was determined using the cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 41 items, namely 20 items for variable North Tapanuli 2023/2024 academic year: 1) Test analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy = 0.618 > rtable(a=0.05,n=28) = 0.374. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained tcount= 4.013 > ttable(a=0.05, dk=n-2=26)= 2.056. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="6.51"+1.01X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 38.2%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(a=0.05, dk numerator k=14, dk denominator=n-2=28-2=26) namely 16.09 > 2.09. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the Personality Competence of Religious Education Teachers on the Learning Discipline of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Nainggolan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method with descriptive statistics. The population is all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Nainggolan for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 67 people and the sample was determined to be 67 people so it is a research population. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 40 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of the Personality Competence of Religious Education Teachers on the Learning Discipline of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Nainggolan in the 2023/2024 Academic Year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained by the value rxy = 0.421 > rtable (a=0.05; CI=95%; n=67) = 0.244, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable 05;dk=n-2=65) = 2,000, thus there is a significant relationship between variable b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 17.7%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the t test to obtain tcount > ttable, namely 3.742 > 2.000. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The purpose of this research is to find out how big the influence on the formation of student behavior class XII SMA Negeri 1 Pahae Julu North Tapanuli Regency 2023/2024 Academic Year. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method. The population is all of SMA Negeri 1 Pahae Julu in the 2023/2024 academic year totaling 142 people and a sample of 36 people was determined, namely 25% of the population using random sampling techniques. Data were collected using a positive closed questionnaire of 40 items, namely 24 items for variable X and 16 items for variable Y. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of Christian Religious Education teacher guidance on the formation of student behavior in class XII at SMA Negeri 1 Pahae Julu North Tapanuli Regency 2023/2024 Academic Year. 1) Analysis requirements test: a)  positive relationship test obtained a value of rxy =0.581> rtable (a=0,05, df=n-2=34) namely 0,329. b) Significant relationship test obtained a value of tcount= 4.160 > ttable(a=0.05,dk=n-2=34)= 2.042. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Y = 24.77 +0.35X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 33.7%.  3) Hypothesis testing using the F test to obtained Fcount > Ftable = (a=0.05, dk numerator k=16, dk denominator=n-2=36-2=34) namely 17,08 > 1.62. Thus Ha means that there is a positive and significant influence of Religious Education teacher guidance on the formation of student behavior in class XII of SMA Negeri 1 Pahae Julu North Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 Academic Year is accepted and H0 is rejected. So from this, it can be seen that the guidance of Christian Religious Education teachers is very necessary because it has an influence on the formation of student behavior. In connection with the results of this study, the authors provides input material for PAK teachers to increase their duties and responsibilities to provide guidance to students so that their behavior is good.

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of PAK teacher professionalism on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Sitio-tio Samosir Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used in this research is quantitative. The population is all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Sitio-tio Samosir Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 50 people. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire of 40 items, namely 20 questionnaire items for variable Samosir 2022/2023 Academic Year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained by the value rxy = 0.563 > rtable(=0.05,n=50) = 0.297, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X with variable Y. b) The significant relationship test obtained is the value tcount= 4.716 > ttable(=0.05,dk=n-2=48)= 2.021, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) Test influence: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Y ̂="34.775"+0.371X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 31.7%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=18, dk denominator=n-2=50-2=48) namely 22.24 > 1.51 Thus Ha accepted and H0 rejected.

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a positive and significant influence of the inquiry learning model on the learning creativity of class VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Sipahutar, Sipahutar District, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The research method used is an inferential descriptive quantitative research method. The population is all class VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Sipahutar, Sipahutar District, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 102 people and a sample of 46 people was determined using random sampling techniques. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire with 35 items, namely 18 items for variable X and 17 items for variable Y and was tested on 36 students who were not research respondents. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of the inquiry learning model on the learning creativity of class VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Sipahutar, Sipahutar District, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2022/2023 Academic Year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test a positive relationship to obtain an rxy value = 0.664 > rtable(a=0.05,n-2=46-2=44) = 0.2907. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained tcount= 5.883 > ttable(a=0.05, dk=n-2=44)= 2.021. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="13.32"+0.66X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 44%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(a=0.05, dk numerator k=25, dk denominator=n-2=46-2=44) namely 34.60 > 1.51. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

This research aims to determine the implementation and effectiveness of Christian Counseling Guidance provided by Effective Christian Religious Education and Character Teachers in Increasing the Learning Motivation of Class This research uses a semi-case study type of research and uses as informants eight students from broken home backgrounds and Christian Religious Education and Character Teachers. The results of this research show that the process of implementing Christian counseling guidance by PAK teachers starts from: service (attending), empathy, giving advice/encouragement, the final stage provides reinforcement and closes with prayer. Christian counseling guidance is considered effective in increasing the learning motivation of students from broken home backgrounds, this is assessed based on the results of the presentation of the students themselves and the Christian Religious Education and Character Education teachers. Changes in students' motivation began to appear after participating in Christian counseling activities, changes in students' motivation, who previously often daydreamed and did not pay attention to the learning process, are now starting to be enthusiastic about learning, starting to show interest in learning by studying more actively, doing homework/assignments, students who have feelings of worry and fear begins to disappear, they don't give up easily, they are happier and more confident in doing things (independently) and students have a commitment to achieving their goals and hopes in the future.

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a positive and significant influence of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model on the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Lintong Nihuta, Humbang Hasundutan district for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method with a pre-experimental design research type in the form of "One Shot Case Study". The population was 177 students from class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Lintong Nihuta for the 2023/2024 academic year and a sample of 32 people was determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using an observation sheet with 19 items for variable SMP Negeri 3 Lintong Nihuta, Humbang Hasundutan district, 2023/2024 academic year: 1) Test analysis requirements: a) Test a positive relationship, the value of rxy = 0.595 > rtable(=0.05,n=32) = 0.349. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained a value of tcount= 4.050 > ttable(=0.05,dk=n-2=30)= 2.042. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="7.36"+0.29X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 35.4%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=8, dk denominator=n-2=32-2=30) namely 16.36 > 2.27. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the use of visual media by PAK teachers on the learning motivation of class V students at SD Negeri 173210 Sigotom, Pangaribuan District, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The method in this research is a descriptive quantitative research method. The population is all class V students of SD Negeri 173210 Sigotom, Pangaribuan District, North Tapanuli Regency, 2022/2023 Academic Year, totaling 32 people. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 31 items, namely 15 items for variable North Tapanuli Regency 2022/2023 Academic Year: 1) Test analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy = 0.558 > rtable(a=0.05,n=32) = 0.349. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained tcount= 3.686 > ttable(a=0.05, dk=n-2=30)= 2.042. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="23.69"+0.61X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 31.2%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(a=0.05, dk numerator k=14, dk denominator=n-2=32-2=30) namely 13.59 > 2.01. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of PAK Teacher behavior on the character of students at SMP Negeri 1 Sitiotio for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with inferential statistical data analysis. The population was all 121 students in class VIII for the 2023/2024 academic year at SMP Negeri 1 Sitiotio and a sample of 36 people was determined, namely 30% of the total population using the Proportional Random Sampling technique. Data was collected using 40 positive closed items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence on the behavior of Religious Education Teachers on the character of students at SMP Negeri 1 Sitiotio for the 2023/2024 Academic Year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test the positive influence obtained by the value rxy = 0.594 > rtable(= 0.05,n=36) = 0.329, thus it is known that there is a positive influence between variable =34)= 2.042, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. c) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 35.3%. 2) Influence test: Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="39.26"+0.97X. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of providing learning motivation by Christian Religious Education teachers on the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method with a descriptive statistical approach. The population is all class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 160 people and a sample of 32 people was determined using the purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 25 items for variable Test analysis requirements: a) a positive relationship test obtained a value of rxy = 0.504 > rtable(=0.05,n=32) = 0.349. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained tcount= 3.198 > ttable(=0.05, dk=n-2=30)= 2.042. 2) Test the effect: a) Test the regression equation, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="37","71"+0.57X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 25.4%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=13, dk denominator=n-2=32-2=30) namely 10.23 > 2.09. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Students' motivation to learn can be seen if the student tries to make an effort diligently to achieve what he wants. A student who has good motivation will get good results too. Learning motivation is like a machine, if there is a driving force then the machine will operate according to what the operator wants. Likewise with motivation, if there is a driving force then there is an effort within a person to carry out certain activities to achieve a goal. However, motivation is not always shared by everyone. In his book, Soemanto defines motivation as a change in energy within a person which is characterized by effective encouragement and reactions in achieving a certain goal.   What is meant by learning motivation is an urge that arises within students to act or carry out an activity or business because of a goal, need or desire that must be satisfied. Looking at some of the explanations above, the author sees that the lack of student motivation in learning is a significant problem because remembering the objectives of learning and the efforts made by the teacher do not bring the results as expected. Thus learning is considered less successful. In this research, the type of research used is classroom action research (PTK). The research location is Elpida Noelbaki Elementary School, which is located at Jalan Sahabat no. 01, Oehau Hamlet, Noelbaki Village, Central Kupang District, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The subject of this research is a religious education subject teacher for grade 2 elementary school students. The methods used in the research are interviews and observation. The teacher's treatment at the initial stage of learning has an impact on the growth of students' learning motivation. This is characterized by enthusiasm in following lessons. As many as 88.8% of students showed an enthusiastic attitude in participating in lessons. The teacher's treatment at the initial and final stages of learning has an impact on increasing student learning motivation. This is characterized by enthusiasm in following lessons. As many as 100% of students showed an enthusiastic attitude in participating in the lesson. Based on the implementation of the first to third cycles, it is known that the application of teacher social competencies such as teacher interaction, social skills, sympathetic attitudes and the teacher's adaptability towards students in following lessons will increase student motivation in learning. Students look enthusiastic and enthusiastic in receiving lessons in class.

Christian Religious Education (PAK) is a divine and human effort carried out systematically and continuously, to transmit knowledge, values, attitudes and skills and behavior that are consistent with the Christian faith. Christian religious education is a joint political activity among pilgrims at a time that deliberately pays attention to God's activities in the present. Thus, it can be said that Christian religious education is very important in transmitting knowledge, values ​​and behavior that are consistent with the Christian faith in realizing the vision of the kingdom of God. According to Andreas, there are 2 research approaches that can be chosen, namely the positivist (quantitative) and naturalist (qualitative) approaches.  "Positivist research relies on quantification in collecting and analyzing data to test predetermined hypotheses." Therefore, researchers use a positivist (quantitative) approach. The design used in this research is a survey. A survey is research where the sample is taken from a population with a questionnaire as data collection. The location of the researcher's research was carried out at SD N Osiloa Kupang Tengah for the 2023/2024 academic year, the research period took place from March - May 2023. Based on research conducted by the researcher on the significance of Christian Religious Education (PAK) Teachers' Efforts towards increasing Passion for Reading the Bible in Class III Students At Osiloa State Primary School. The researcher will provide the following conclusions: Based on the research results, it is known that the calculated rs value in the data obtained is greater than the r table. R calculated = 0.999 and r table = 0.684, which means there is a significant relationship between variable There is a significant relationship between variable X: PAK Teacher Effort and variable Y: Students' Passion for Reading the Bible. Judging from the results of calculating the Terminant Coefficient (KP), it is: KP = r² x 100% = 0.647² x 100% = 41.9%. So PAK Teachers' efforts can influence Shiva's Passion for Reading the Bible by 41.9 percent.

In the research, the author found several things that happened, including: how the role of the Religious Education Teacher as a leader in terms of the Heidelberg Catechism week 12 affects students' interest in learning. And how big is Teacher Pak as a Leader in terms of the Heidelberg Catechism week 12 towards students' interest in learning? The aim is to find out the role of Teachers as Leadership in terms of the Heidelberg Catechism week 12 towards students' interest in learning, to find out how big the role of Teachers as Leadership is as a leader. Leadership is reviewed from the 12th week of the Heidelberg Catechism on students' learning interest. PAK Teacher Leadership is a teacher who fears God, understands the truth of God's word, teaches based on God's word, carries out his duties and responsibilities as a teacher, leader and becomes an example for his students. Meanwhile, students' interest in learning is a desire within a person and a desire from outside that can foster a person's interest in learning. Based on the research results, it shows that the role of Religious Education Teachers as a leadership role is very important in increasing students' interest in learning and the level of Religious Education Teachers' role as leadership towards students' interest in learning.
