Creative writing plays an important role in developing students’ imagination, self- expression, and language competence in the digital era. However, many learners still struggle with generating ideas, maintaining motivation, and gaining confidence in writing. This study aims to analyze how the use of Wattpad, viewed through the Social Constructivist framework, can enhance students’ creative writing skills, motivation, and confidence. This research applies a qualitative descriptive approach supported by survey data from 30 high school students who actively use Wattpad. The results show that 95.7% of respondents have used Wattpad before, with most of them using it to read and learn from other writers. A total of 60.9% of respondents stated that reading other writers’ works was the most helpful for improving their writing, while 17.4% highlighted peer comments and feedback as additional support. Despite its benefits, 43.5% of students mentioned difficulty in organizing ideas as their main challenge. Open-ended responses revealed that positive feedback and community interaction on Wattpad helped increase students’ motivation and confidence in writing. The discussion emphasizes that the social interaction and feedback features of Wattpad foster collaborative learning, aligning with Vygotsky’s concepts of scaffolding and the Zone of Proximal Development. These findings suggest that integrating Wattpad into writing instruction can effectively enhance students’ creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in producing literary works.

The evaluation of Indonesian language instruction at the junior secondary level remains predominantly oriented toward lower-order thinking skills, thereby constraining the advancement of students’Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This situation necessitates the development of comprehensive assessment tools that are coherently aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. The present study introduces a model for constructing HOTS-oriented assessment instruments targeting procedural text writing in Phase D. The development process was systematically organized through several stages: translating learning outcomes into measurable indicators, preparing assessment blueprints, creating item cards, formulating scoring rubrics for attitudes, knowledge, and skills, and finally analyzing and interpreting the assessment data. These instruments were specifically designed to capture students’ analytical, evaluative, and creative abilities in producing procedural texts that are logical, coherent, and effective. Findings demonstrate that the instruments provide an objective and holistic representation of students’ competency attainment. In summary, the proposed HOTS-based assessment model for procedural text writing is practical, methodical, and contextually relevant, serving as a valuable framework for evaluating Indonesian language learning in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum principles.

Legal certainty (rechtssicherheit) is a fundamental pillar of the Rule of Law, ensuring that legal provisions are clear, consistent, and predictable. In the Indonesian criminal justice system, the Public Prosecutor holds a central position as the Dominus Litis (the master of the suit), possessing the exclusive authority to determine which cases proceed to court. However, the current implementation of prosecutorial authority often leans towards rigid legal positivism, creating a paradox where procedural certainty is achieved at the expense of substantive justice. Disparities in prosecution demands for similar crimes often lead to public distrust and legal uncertainty for justice seekers. Furthermore, prosecutors often lack the cognitive flexibility to handle complex cases that require discretionary wisdom. This study aims to analyze the challenges in maintaining legal certainty and proposes a strategy to enhance the prosecutor's role through the integration of Restorative Justice and a reform in prosecutorial competency. The research employs a normative juridical method with statutory and conceptual approaches, analyzing Attorney General Regulation No. 15 of 2020. The study finds that enhancing legal certainty requires shifting the paradigm from "mechanical prosecution" to "discretionary prosecution" based on conscience. To achieve this, prosecutors must be equipped with high-level cognitive skills specifically "Creative Thinking" to interpret "certainty" not just as textual compliance, but as the consistent application of fairness.

Learning is a process of interaction between students, educators, and learning resources in a learning environment. The effectiveness of learning is greatly influenced by the teacher's ability to manage the class. At SDI Manumuti, a third-grade teacher demonstrated good classroom management in thematic learning, especially on the theme of caring for living things. Classroom management is an important factor in creating a conducive learning atmosphere so that the learning process can take place optimally. This study aims to explore more deeply the role of teachers in managing the class in thematic learning. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and interviews, while data analysis was carried out inductively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that teachers play an important role in creating and maintaining conducive classroom conditions. These efforts are carried out through two main strategies. First, teachers prioritize three aspects in learning, namely: (1) strengthening character education through discussion activities that encourage students to appear in front of the class, thereby fostering self-confidence, discipline, and activeness; (2) strengthening literacy through reading materials or stories related to the theme at the beginning of the meeting; and (3) the application of 4C skills (Creative, Critical thinking, Communicative, and Collaborative) through varied learning activities, including learning outside the classroom to avoid boredom. Second, teachers often use discussion methods to train students to express opinions, speak in front of the class, and work together. This method is considered effective in building students' self-confidence and social skills.

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing a descriptive writing learning model based on digital literacy and local wisdom in improving writing skills, learning motivation, and cultural character among junior high school students. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, the research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Kroya, Cilacap Regency, during the 2025–2026 academic year. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, and were subsequently analyzed using the interactive model developed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings indicate that the application of this model effectively enhances students’ writing abilities in terms of content, structure, language style, and digital literacy ethics. The integration of digital technology fosters the development of cognitive, technical, and social literacy, while the reinforcement of local wisdom cultivates cultural awareness, regional identity pride, and reflective thinking skills. Writing activities evolved into collaborative and creative processes that combine cultural exploration with the ethical use of digital technology. From a pedagogical perspective, this model aligns with the principles of deep learning promoted by the Kurikulum Merdeka and contributes to strengthening the Eight Dimensions of Graduate Competencies, particularly in critical reasoning and problem-solving, creativity and innovation, collaboration and mutual cooperation, as well as the development of the Pancasila student profile and global citizenship. Therefore, the descriptive writing learning model based on digital literacy and local wisdom can be regarded as an innovative strategy in Indonesian language education to realize a contextual, reflective, creative, and culturally grounded learning process.
