A landslide that occurred on May 24, 2024, in Pekon Datarajan, Ulubelu District, Tanggamus, Lampung, caused significant disruption to provincial road access and resulted in material losses. This study aims to assess the post-failure slope stability through field geotechnical investigation and numerical analysis using the Limit Equilibrium Method (LEM), and to propose immediate countermeasures. The slope materials consist of MH (inorganic silt) and ML (elastic silt) with high moisture content and moderate to high swelling potential. The lithology is dominated by montmorillonite clay, which has hygroscopic characteristics, making it highly vulnerable to water infiltration that reduces shear strength and increases the risk of slope failure. Stability analysis indicates a post-failure factor of safety (FoS) of 1.36 (static loading) and 1.03 (dynamic loading), which decreases to 1.07 beneath raised groundwater conditions. Recommended immediate mitigation includes surface runoff control, the construction of impermeable drainage systems, the sealing of cracks using impermeable materials, and the installation of temporary slope reinforcements such as sheet piles. The implementation of these measures increased the FoS to 1.61 (static loading) and 1.16 (dynamic loading). This study provides a technical basis for the rapid and effective mitigation of landslides in areas with similar geological and hydrological conditions.

In many wireless sensor network (WSN) applications, nodes are randomly deployed and self-organize into a wireless network to perform tasks. In practice, recharging the batteries of network nodes after deployment is often difficult. Network nodes often operate autonomously, so the main focus is on increasing the node lifetime. Data redundancy is another limitation that makes nodes inefficient. In most cases, densely deployed nodes in a monitoring area will have redundant data from neighboring nodes. Therefore, we propose a clustering technique to select the Cluster Head (CH) node in small-scale WSNs. Since transmission consumes more energy than data collection, this protocol enables reactive routing, where transmission occurs only when a certain threshold is reached. In addition, based on their heterogeneous energy levels, nodes can be grouped into three categories: Normal, Intermediate, and Advanced. Simulation results in MATLAB/Simulink show that, after approximately 3000 rounds, the proposed method successfully transmitted about 3.1 × 104 packets to the base station, compared to 2.3 × 104 packets for the Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) protocol. In addition, the time when the last node died was approximately 3,500 rounds, whereas the LEACH protocol only maintained about 1,500 rounds. The results have shown the effectiveness of this technique in reducing the dead node rate and increasing packet transmission efficiency.

The formation of new lexical items through the combination of two or more lexemes is referred to as compounding, a significant process within the field of morphology. As noted by O’Grady (1996), compound words are typically categorized into two types: endocentric and exocentric compounds. Katamba (1994:320) emphasizes that endocentric compounds exhibit greater productivity compared to their exocentric counterparts. This study aims to examine the morphological structures of endocentric compound words found in a specific object—namely, the speech text School Strike for Climate. Employing a qualitative-descriptive method, the research analyzes and interprets the semantic classification of the identified compounds. The speech transcript reveals 26 occurrences of endocentric compounds, all of which function as compound nouns and consist of nominal components.

This study discusses the impact of plastic waste imports from the Netherlands on environmental security in Indonesia. The practice of cross-border waste trade has become a sensitive issue in international relations, especially when developing countries such as Indonesia receive an abundance of waste from developed countries. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through documentation and literature studies. The analysis focuses on regulations, dynamics of the recycling industry, and the ecological impact of incoming waste. The results show that most of the imported plastic waste cannot be processed safely and contains hazardous contaminants such as microplastics and heavy metals. This waste pollutes the soil, rivers, and seas, and enters the food chain through marine fish consumed by the community, thus threatening food security and public health. The state's response, although it has included re-export steps and policy revisions, is still weak in terms of supervision and law enforcement. In conclusion, plastic waste imports are a form of non-traditional threat to Indonesia's environmental security that requires stronger structural, diplomatic, and institutional responses.

This study aims to analyze price elasticity and income elasticity of products by integrating perspectives from conventional economics and Islamic microeconomics. In conventional economics, price and income elasticity are used to understand consumer demand sensitivity to changes in price and income. Meanwhile, Islamic microeconomics adds an ethical dimension, such as the prohibition of israf (wastefulness) and the importance of balanced consumption. The findings indicate that elasticity analysis is crucial not only for business strategies and economic policies but also must incorporate Islamic economic principles to promote sustainable and ethical consumption. This study suggests that integrating Islamic microeconomic values in elasticity analysis can enrich the understanding of consumer behavior and foster more inclusive economic policies.

There is a large correlation between its economic development and a country’s capital market. The capital market connects individuals with potential investments and helps businesses obtain the necessary financing. The way investors view a company’s growth potential is reflected in its stock valuation. Stock price fluctuations are influenced by several factors, including effective Good Corporate Governance (GCG), capital structure, and financial performance. By examining the impact of GCG, financial performance, and capital structure, this study aims to provide clearer guidelines on how companies in the financial sector of the IDX can influence stock prices from 2020 to 2024. The quantitative method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The study found that stock values were significantly influenced by these three factors, both separately and when combined. These three variables explain a quarter of the variance in stock prices (measured by the Adjusted R² value of 0.256), while the remaining variation is due to variables outside this study. Whether you are an investor or a business leader, these findings can help you make better financial and governance choices and will pave the way for further research.
