Reflection : Islamic Education Journal 2024 Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia

This thesis discusses the application of direct methods using flashcard media to improve Arabic vocabulary mastery of class VII MTsN Palopo. This research aims (1) to determine the ability to master Arabic vocabulary in class VII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Palopo before and after applying the direct method using flashcard media. (2) to determine the effectiveness of the direct method using flashcard media in improving Arabic vocabulary mastery for class VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Palopo. This type of research is classroom action research, the data collection method is action observation, field notes, test sheets and documentation. The results of this research are (1) classroom action research conducted by researchers. It can be concluded that the direct method using flashcard media is effective for application to class VII students (Research Class) by seeing the increase in the results of students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary which increases through the application of the direct method using flashcard media. (2) The percentage increase in cycle I can be seen that of the 40 students, 18 students completed the percentage (45%), while 22 students completed the percentage (55%). As for cycle II, it can be seen that of the 40 students, 32 students completed the percentage (80%), while 8 students did not complete the percentage (20%). From cycle I to cycle II there was an increase in learning outcomes by (25%). Thus, in cycle II the learning outcomes are said to be complete.

This study aims to determine that the Qur'an as the holy book of Muslims plays an important role in guiding daily behavior and actions. In the context of modern life full of challenges, a deep understanding of the Qur'an as the main source of guidance is very crucial to shape the character and moral values ​​of Muslims. The purpose of this study is to explore the primacy of the Qur'an as the main source of guidance in the lives of Muslims. The method used for the study on "DIGGING INTO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE Qur'an: THE MAIN SOURCE OF GUIDANCE IN THE LIVES OF ISLAMIC PEOPLE" uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, which involves the analysis of the texts of the Qur'an and related literature, including interpretations from scholars and previous research. Data are analyzed thematically to identify the basic principles contained in the Qur'an and their application in daily life. This study aims to examine the role of the Qur'an as the main source of guidance in the lives of Muslims, as well as to explore the application of its teachings in social, economic, and spiritual contexts. The results of this study indicate that the Qur'an provides comprehensive guidance for Muslims in various aspects of life. The teachings of the Qur'an on justice, compassion, and social responsibility have proven to be a strong foundation in building a harmonious society. In addition, this study underlines the importance of contextual understanding of the teachings of the Qur'an in order to be relevant to the challenges of today's era.

This research discusses the belief in the Last Day from an Islamic perspective, which is one of the important pillars of faith. The background of this research is based on the importance of understanding the Last Days in shaping the behavior and morals of Muslims. The aim of the research is to explore how belief in the Last Day affects the daily lives of Muslims in spiritual and social aspects. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, analyzing various sources of religious texts and related Islamic literature. The research results show that belief in the Last Day encourages Muslims to increase morality, justice and social responsibility, as well as providing a deep understanding of divine justice and life after death.

This study aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning strategy on the social behavior of fifth grade students in learning Akidah Akhlak at MIN 3 South Labuhanbatu. To discuss and examine the problems described above, the author uses quantitative data management, the author determines a sample of 2 classes as experimental and control classes, namely 32 students in class V-A as the experimental class, and 32 students in class V-B as the control class. This was done to find out how the influence of the Problem Based Learning strategy on the social behavior of fifth grade students in learning Akidah Akhlak at MIN 3 South Labuhanbatu. The research hypothesis testing used regression analysis. The results of the regression calculation showed a regression equation of 48.615 0.353X and a correlation coefficient of R value of 0.862 which if interpreted based on the table can be interpreted as the relationship between the two variables, namely the Problem Based Learning learning strategy (X) with the social behavior variable in learning Akidah Akhlak (Y) in the very strong category and the hypothesis can be accepted.

This study examines the integration of Islam and science through the thoughts of key figures, namely Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Al-Ghazali, and Ibnu Khaldun. The main focus of this research is to understand their approaches to the relationship between religion and knowledge, highlighting key concepts such as iman (faith), Islam, and ihsan (excellence). This approach is explained based on primary sources such as the Qur'an, Hadith, and qoul ulama, which provide the philosophical and theological foundation for understanding the integration of both. Using a qualitative approach, this research aims to explore how these perspectives shape a balanced view between the scientific and spiritual realms within the context of Islamic thought. The results of the study show that although each figure has a different viewpoint, they agree that science does not conflict with Islamic teachings; rather, it should be understood as a means of drawing closer to God. This research is expected to contribute to the development of dialogue between religion and science, as well as provide insights into the development of Islamic education in the modern era.

This research discusses the role of mosques as Islamic cadre formation institutions in facing modern social dynamics. Through a historical approach, this article explores the function of mosques since the beginning of Islam, when mosques became centers for community development that included religious education, character cultivation, and leadership development. In a contemporary context, this research examines the adaptation of mosques to the challenges of globalization, social change and technological developments. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the strategic role of mosques as Islamic cadre formation institutions in the context of social dynamics, both from a historical and contemporary perspective. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, regarding journals and books regarding historical and contemporary reviews of the role of mosques, especially in character development, education and leadership. The research results show that mosques not only function as places of worship, but also as effective agents of social change, contributing to the formation of character and solidarity among the people. Efforts to revitalize the function of mosques through technology integration, collaboration with educational institutions, and community-based cadre programs show the potential of mosques in developing people who are ready to face the challenges of the times.

Mosques play a role beyond just a place of worship; they also serve as strategic community centers in driving economic growth. This study aims to explore the role of mosques in economic aspects, from providing social services, education, to community-based economic activities. By involving qualitative methods, this study collected data through interviews and observations in several mosques that are active in economic empowerment programs. The results of the study indicate that mosques can function as community centers that integrate various economic initiatives, such as skills training, providing business capital, and developing local products. In addition, mosques also play an important role in fostering social solidarity and encouraging collaboration between community members. This study is expected to provide insight for mosque managers and policy makers to maximize the role of mosques in improving the economic welfare of the community.

Through a qualitative approach using literature study methods, this research explores the role of mosques as centers of worship, character development, and strengthening social solidarity in the Muslim community. The research results show that mosques not only function as places of prayer, but also play a role in religious education, moral development, and social activities that strengthen relationships between believers. With its calm and peaceful atmosphere, the mosque is a place of reflection and contemplation, helping individuals draw closer to Allah and find inner calm amidst busy modern life.

Mosques play a crucial role in the lives of Muslim communities, not only as places of worship but also as centers for disseminating information and facilitating social communication. This study aims to explore the function of mosques in spreading information and facilitating communication, both through traditional methods and modern digital technology. The research utilizes a qualitative approach, involving field studies and in-depth interviews at several mosques in urban and rural areas. The findings indicate that mosques serve as strategic hubs for conveying religious, social, and cultural information through sermons, religious lectures, and community discussions. Mosques also function as public spaces, enabling communication across different social strata and generations. In the digital era, many mosques have embraced social media to reach a wider congregation, though some rural mosques still face technological limitations. The role of mosques in spreading information and facilitating communication has positive impacts on strengthening social solidarity, enhancing religious literacy, and empowering communities. In conclusion, mosques remain vital institutions for reinforcing social cohesion and communication within Muslim communities, though challenges remain in optimizing their role in the modern era.

The Qur'an as the final revelation revealed by Allah SWT has a very central role in shaping the teachings and lives of Muslims. One of the most important aspects of the teachings of the Qur'an is the unity of the people, which can be a foundation in maintaining harmony and solidarity amidst existing differences. The virtues contained in the Qur'an, such as teachings on justice, tolerance, brotherhood, and compassion, provide clear direction for Muslims to unite and work together for the common good. However, amid the diversity of schools of thought, ethnicities, and thoughts in Muslims, it is important to re-explore the basic principles of the Qur'an that can strengthen relations between fellow Muslims. This study aims to explore the virtues of the Qur'an that can be the foundation of teachings that unite Muslims. This study also seeks to understand how these values ​​are applied in the context of the social and cultural life of Muslims, both in the past and in the contemporary era. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with a thematic interpretation approach to analyze the verses of the Qur'an related to the unity of the people, as well as a study of the hadith to explore the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW regarding the unity of the Muslim community. In addition, this study also uses a historical and socio-cultural approach to understand the application of the teachings of the Qur'an in Muslim society from time to time. The results of the study show that the virtues of the Qur'an, such as teachings on brotherhood, justice, and tolerance, have a very important role in strengthening the unity of Muslims, even though there are differences in terms of schools of thought, culture, and views. The Qur'an provides clear guidelines that differences are not a reason to divide, but rather a blessing that enriches the diversity of Muslims. By exploring and applying the teachings of the Qur'an, Muslims are expected to be able to better maintain unity and harmony in facing the challenges of the increasingly plural and complex modern era.

This research is motivated by faith in the books of Allah which is one of the fundamental articles of faith in Islam. The aim of this research is to create faith in Allah's books to strengthen piety and obedience to the Creator. The research method used is a qualitative research method that focuses on a descriptive-analytical approach. Qualitative research was chosen because the main aim of this article is to explore and understand the meaning of the primacy of believing in Allah's books in the context of building piety and obedience. The researcher concludes that the result of this article is that deep faith in His books is the main basis for living a life full of blessings. This faith not only brings a person to a high spiritual understanding, but also encourages him to implement God's teachings in real ways in everyday life, both in personal, social and spiritual aspects

This research examines the management of the Indonesian School of Jeddah (SIJ) in supporting students towards the National Science Olympiad (OSN), with a focus on a student's academic journey.  This research highlights student experiences, management strategies implemented by schools, as well as challenges faced during competition preparation.  The role of school and family as main supporting factors is also analyzed.  Students who have a strong interest in science are actively involved in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs and research projects, and develop time management skills to balance studies and other activities.  The school provides a supportive learning environment, with resources and guidance from competent teachers.  The family also makes a significant contribution through moral support and instilling a strong work ethic.  This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with a case study method, which focuses on one research object to reveal the synergistic role between school and family in shaping student achievement.  These findings illustrate the importance of collaboration between schools and families in creating student academic achievement.

Mosques have a very important role in the lives of Muslims, not only as places of worship, but also as a source of spiritual security. As centers of religious activity, mosques provide a conducive environment for the development of faith and piety. In this context, the mosque functions as a protector from negative influences that can disrupt the spiritual stability of individuals and communities. This research aims to examine the function of mosques as places of spiritual security. In the midst of the onslaught of information and moral challenges facing modern society, mosques are the first fortress that protects people from destructive influences. In it, pilgrims can find calm and peace, as well as strengthen social ties between community members. Worship activities, recitations and religious discussions in mosques contribute to deepening spiritual and moral understanding. Through a qualitative approach using heritage study methods, this research explores the role of mosques as places of spiritual refuge which is also reflected in the practice of congregational prayer. This activity not only strengthens a sense of togetherness, but also builds discipline in worship. This discipline is important for forming an individual's character of obedience and integrity, making him more resistant to worldly temptations. The research results show that the mosque functions as a place of education and dissemination of Islamic values. Through educational and da'wah programs, mosques can create awareness of the importance of morality and ethics in everyday life. This functions as a shield against deviant behavior that can threaten societal harmony.

Mosques play an important role in the social life of Muslims, more than just a place of worship. In recent decades, mosques have begun to be seen as potential venues for carrying out a variety of activities that can support community well-being, one of which is in the area of health. The purpose of this article is to provide a more in-depth understanding of how places of worship, such as mosques, can play a significant role in improving the overall well-being and health of communities. involving qualitative methods. using several data collection methods that are qualitative in nature, including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. In-depth interviews were conducted with mosque administrators, medical personnel, and worshipers to explore their understanding of various aspects of the health program implemented at the mosque. The interviews were semi-structured, where the researcher used flexible interview guidelines to allow informants to explain their experiences more freely. research results This article examines how mosques can function as health centers that not only provide medical services, but also play a role in health education and counseling to worshipers. The research includes an analysis of mosques that have run health programs, such as free health check-ups, counseling on healthy lifestyles, and raising awareness of the importance of health.

This study examines the role of mosques in improving access to education for the community, focusing on the solutions offered in facing the challenges of the times. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies in several mosques in urban and rural areas. The results show that mosques play an active role in providing inclusive education and empowering communities, especially vulnerable groups. The educational programs implemented in mosques not only improve people's literacy and skills, but also strengthen positive social and cultural values. The findings are expected to provide insights into the contribution of mosques in creating sustainable solutions for access to education, as well as educating future generations who are competitive and characterized.

This article discusses the potential role of mosques as centers for educational innovation and training to improve community capacity. Through a literature review and case study, this article aims to explore how mosques can transform from simple places of worship into comprehensive learning centers. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, by making books, magazines, articles and journals related to the research theme, focusing on innovative education and training models that can be applied in mosques, the challenges that may be faced, and their potential benefits for the community. The results of the analysis show that with the right approach, mosques can become important buildings in human resource development and community empowerment in two innovations, namely Educational Innovation; (1) Establishing non-formal educational institutions such as TPA and MDA, (2) Routine syllabus studies, (3) Arabic language course institutions. In the modern era like today, there are many conveniences that humans can feel as a result of the development of technology and information. This can have positive and negative impacts on human life. If humans cannot control their behavior in this modern life, humans can fall into the abyss of humiliation and disgrace. That is why religion plays a very important role in guiding humans, especially in this modern era. This study aims to discuss how Islam guarantees safety in life in the world and in the hereafter in the context of modern life. This discussion is intended to find out how humans should behave, in order to achieve safety in life not only in the world, but also safety in the hereafter. This study uses a literature study method, where researchers obtain data from library sources such as books, journals and other scientific publications. Data from these sources are then analyzed and concluded in order to obtain accurate data. The results of this study indicate that straight Faith and Tawhid are the keys to salvation in the world and the hereafter.

This article examines the signs of Allah's greatness reflected in the universe, with the aim of increasing spiritual understanding and awareness of the greatness of His creation. Through a qualitative approach, this research uses literature study, direct observation, and interviews with experts to explore various natural phenomena that demonstrate God's power and wisdom. Findings show that the wonders of astronomy, biodiversity, and the regularity of natural laws serve as clear evidence of His greatness. This research also emphasizes the importance of contemplating creation as a means of strengthening faith and gratitude. Thus, it is hoped that this article can encourage readers to admire and protect nature more as a form of devotion to the Creator.

Educational administration is the entire process of working together by utilizing all available and needed resources to achieve educational goals that have been set effectively and efficiently. Facilities are all the facilities needed in the teaching and learning process, both moving and immovable, so that educational goals can be achieved and run smoothly, regularly, effectively and efficiently. Meanwhile, the definition of infrastructure is facilities that indirectly support the course of the educational process, such as; yard, garden or school garden, road to school, school rules, and so on. Administration of educational facilities and infrastructure is something that really supports the achievement of the goals of education, as education personnel we are required to master and understand the administration of facilities and infrastructure, to increase effective and efficient work power and be able to respect the work ethics of fellow educational personnel, so that harmony and comfort will be created which can create pride and a sense of belonging from both the school community and the surrounding community.

According to him, this allows us to examine the things that form the struggle of the ilama to essure that islamic value are always maintained and can entar into people’s lives, especially their application in the realm of education, this is often a factor in the development and decline of Islam in that era. Examining the understanding of knowledge from the these figures can open up insight inti the study of Islamic education that spread during the glorious era of Islam. One of them is about an Islamic sociological philosopher whose work is considered very fascinating. This research is qualitative research using research using literature review (Library Research). The source of data collection is related book literature and journal. In this research, the aouthor examines the realm of educational development according to Ibnu Khaldun. He was the one who succeeded in reviving intelectual thought in Islam in the Middle Ages.
