This study aims to analyze process management in the Linux operating system, focusing on how processes are managed from creation, scheduling, to termination. Linux utilizes various scheduling and memory management mechanisms to ensure system efficiency and stability. One of the schedulers used is the Completely Fair Scheduler (CFS), which provides a fair distribution of CPU time based on the priority and needs of the processes. This research also discusses the use of techniques such as paging for memory management and how Linux handles inter-process communication through pipes and shared memory. Experiments were conducted to measure CPU usage, memory consumption, and execution time by various processes with different priorities. The results show that Linux effectively manages resources, provides fair time-sharing, and maintains security by isolating the address space between the kernel and user-space. This study is expected to contribute to the further development of process management in Linux and provide insights for developers and system administrators to optimize operating system performance.

This research discusses the influence of social media on public participation in the 2024 elections in Indonesia. Social media has become one of the main tools in political communication, both for candidates, political parties, and voters. This study uses a mixed-methods approach with surveys of 500 respondents from various regions in Indonesia, complemented by content analysis of political campaigns on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The level of voter participation who are actively engaged in online political discussions is also proven to be higher compared to those who are less active on social media. The issues found in the field include: 1. What are the social media platforms most commonly used by the public in the context of elections? 2. How is social media used to educate voters about political issues, candidates, and the electoral process? 3. What are the main challenges faced in using social media for electoral participation? The research method used is the quantitative method. This method involves the collection of data that can be measured and statistically analyzed. The research results show that social media plays a significant role in increasing political awareness among the public, especially among young voters. However, the research also found that information disseminated through social media is often unverified, which can negatively influence public opinion.

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) have become the leading cause of death in Indonesia, particularly among young adults, with an increasing incidence rate. Technological advancements, lifestyle changes, and environmental factors have contributed to the rising prevalence of NCDs, especially among the younger generation. In light of this, it is essential to implement prevention through health screening and education on healthy lifestyles, particularly among young adults. This community service activity was conducted on December 20 and 21, 2024, with the aim of raising awareness among young adults in West Jakarta about the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle through health screenings and the promotion of an active lifestyle, including education on nutrition status, physical activity, quality sleep, and the dangers of smoking, especially the use of e-cigarettes. The results of the activity showed that the majority of participants experienced sleep difficulties, and most did not smoke, although some used e-cigarettes. The results of nutrition status measurements also indicated that most participants fell into the obese category. Participants' physical activity levels were relatively low, with many engaging in less than 30 minutes of exercise per session and struggling to find time for regular physical activity. Education and promotion of healthy lifestyles need to be continuously improved to prevent NCDs among young adults, with a focus on improving eating habits, increasing physical activity, and managing stress.

All companies hope for an effective and efficient production system, but an imperfect production system means that PT XYZ must improve its production activities. The company strives to produce good products followed by a high level of productivity. In this research, we investigate a case at PT XYZ which produces hot stamping foil in the rewind section. This research found that there was waste that occurred in set-up replacement activities in production. Because it requires a long processing time, we perfected the system by implementing the Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) method, then the process optimized internal activities in the set-up process. The application of the SMED concept is carried out by changing internal activities into external activities with the addition of helpers. This research aims to provide a more effective and efficient set-up replacement process so that machine downtime can be reduced. The results of this research show a 52% reduction in set-up time obtained by adding a helper with a time before implementation of 58 minutes to 30 minutes. This research concludes that SMED is effective in reducing machine set-up time and increasing the efficiency of the production process with benefits after implementing the SMED method by adding a helper of Rp. 10,649,336. In this way, implementing the SMED method helps companies increase production set-up replacement times in the rewind section.

Fine arts learning in elementary schools has an important role in developing students' creativity and artistic spirit. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in shaping the artistic spirit of elementary school students. This research uses a quasi-experimental design with an experimental group that applies CTL learning and a control group that uses conventional learning methods. The research subjects were students, and the data collection instruments included a drawing test, observation, and questionnaire. To compare the learning outcomes of both groups, the data were analyzed using t-test. The results showed significant differences between the experimental and control groups. Students who followed CTL learning showed improvement in creativity, self-expression, and understanding of fine art concepts compared to the control group. The findings indicate that CTL learning is effective in shaping students' artistic spirit, giving them the opportunity to connect learning materials with daily life through various interesting and challenging activities, which encourage them to think critically, creatively, and collaboratively. In addition, since CTL learning makes students feel more involved and active in the learning process, it can increase their motivation to learn.
