This study explores the development of a holistic Christian Religious Education (PAK) curriculum by integrating affective and psychomotor domains into the learning process. The topic is significant because the current PAK curriculum predominantly emphasizes cognitive and doctrinal aspects, resulting in Christian values being taught theoretically without practical application in students’ daily lives. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed to investigate and develop a balanced curriculum model that integrates theory, spiritual internalization, and practical skills. The findings reveal that a holistic curriculum enhances faith internalization and character formation in students, making the learning process more relevant and transformative. Implementation of this curriculum model promotes Christian education as an integrative process encompassing knowledge, attitudes, and practical competencies in real-life contexts.

This article reviews the importance of the value of responsibility as one of the main pillars in character education for students, especially in higher education. This value is not only important in the academic realm, but also becomes the moral and social basis in forming students with integrity. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach, using interview, observation, and documentation techniques on students of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Study Program class of 2022 at IAIN Palangka Raya. The findings show that responsibility in undergoing the learning process, time management, and discipline are important indicators in the internalization of character values. Students who have a sense of responsibility are able to complete academic tasks regularly, value time, and remain disciplined even when faced with challenges such as organizational activities or work. Therefore, systematic and continuous character building is needed to instill the value of responsibility as a whole in the campus environment.

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) plays a crucial role in shaping the moral character of students at the elementary school level. However, learning methods used in IRE classrooms often remain conventional and teacher-centered, resulting in low student engagement and limited understanding of religious material. In response to the educational demands of the 21st century, a transformation in learning strategies is necessary. This study explores the implementation of active learning methods Card Sort, The Power of Two, and Snowballing as innovative approaches to revitalize IRE instruction. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were gathered through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and supporting documentation. The findings reveal that Card Sort enhances students’ ability to visually organize and connect religious concepts, The Power of Two facilitates deeper comprehension through peer discussion, and Snowballing promotes collaborative knowledge construction in stages. These methods contribute to a more interactive, student-centered, and meaningful learning process. Moreover, the integration of these strategies helps improve students' critical thinking, communication, and social-emotional skills while strengthening their internalization of Islamic values. Despite challenges such as instructional planning and classroom management, active learning techniques offer promising potential to transform IRE learning into a dynamic and participatory experience. The study provides practical recommendations for educators and school administrators to develop more effective and engaging IRE strategies.

The weakening of nationalism among the younger generation, especially Generation Z, has become a strategic issue amid the enormous influence of digital globalization. This generation grew up in a fast-paced and connected technological ecosistem (digital natives), which makes them vulnerable to foreign cultural domination and prone to referring to external values in their daily lives. This article aims to examine the process of internalizing nationalist values in the daily lives of Indonesia's young generation and formulate strategies to strengthen national values relevant to the digital era. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach based on a literature review, analyzing various scientific literature and current digital sources. Data were collected from academic literature, journals, and relevant digital sources. The main findings show that nationalism is not only reflected in national symbols but also in concrete actions such as loving local products, participating in community activities, and using social media wisely to voice concern for the nation. On the other hand, the main challenges faced are low critical digital literacy and transnational information flows that have the potential to erode national identity. Therefore, the internalization of nationalist values requires an interdisciplinary, participatory, and contextual approach through meaningful social experiences for the younger generation.

Indonesia is a pluralistic nation because it consists of various tribes, religions, ethnicities, cultures and languages. This diversity is found in various regions spread from Sabang to Meraoke. Every Indonesian citizen is obliged to maintain this diversity by upholding the foundation of the Indonesian state and the motto of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in order to create national unity. Looking at the existing phenomena and referring to previous research, there are still many undesirable events happening in the environment around us today. Therefore, it is necessary to internalize the values of multicultural education. From the description above, there are three focuses studied in this thesis, namely (1) how is the process of transforming the value of multicultural education in the Kiai Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang boarding school? (2) how is the process of transacting the value of multicultural education in the Kiai Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang boarding school? (3) how is the process of internalizing the value of multicultural education in the Kiai Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang boarding school?. This research uses the type of field research, with a qualitative approach, The research subjects consisted of the head of the cottage, administrators, educators, and students, Data collection techniques were taken from interviews, observation, and documentation. Learning strategies are crucial because this is the first step given by the teacher. The step that needs to be considered is determining the learning strategy that will accommodate the development of students. The main teacher can choose the best teaching methods and strategies to create excellent learning, adjust the material to the students' abilities, and enable students to receive knowledge transfer. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explore project-based religious learning strategies applied in the Islamic Religious Education subject at SMP Muhammadiyah 05 Medan Denai. This approach was chosen to deeply explore the practices, experiences, and impact of learning on the religious awareness of the students. Interviews with students show that involvement in the project has made them better understand religious values in real life. Some students admitted to starting to pray on time, being more diligent in reading the Quran, and being more concerned about the social environment. This shows that the religious project encourages the internalization of values through direct experience, not just memorization or theory. This learning not only strengthens the understanding of Islamic material but also instills religious values through real practices that can be directly experienced by the students. Some forms of projects, such as mini-dawah, infaq movements, and adab campaigns, have proven to enrich students' experiences and enhance their awareness of Islamic values in daily life. Islamic education teachers play an important role as facilitators, not only guiding students in project activities but also providing space for reflection and evaluation. Students feel more motivated and actively engaged in the learning process, which leads to changes in their religious behavior, such as increased discipline in worship and a greater sense of care for their surroundings.

This study aims to analyze the concept of consumer demand in the perspective of Islamic economics with a focus on the influence of spiritual values on the consumption behavior of Muslims. The academic problem underlying this study is the gap between the values of Islamic teachings that emphasize simplicity, blessings, and spiritual responsibility, with the social reality of Muslims who often exhibit consumptive behavior and follow the flow of modern capitalism. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods, reviewing various literature related to the concept of consumption in Islamic economics, maqashid al-syari'ah, and spiritual values such as halal, thayyib, qana'ah, wara', and zuhud. The results of the analysis show that spiritual values have a significant role in shaping consumer demand that is not only oriented towards material satisfaction, but also towards blessings and social responsibility. Demand in Islamic economics is positioned as a moral and worship activity, not merely a rational economic decision. Consumption based on spiritual values is also positively correlated with inner peace and mental health of consumers. Therefore, internalization of Islamic values in consumption behavior is believed to be able to realize a fair, sustainable, and falah-oriented economic system (happiness in the world and the hereafter).

Improving the quality of education in madrasahs is a strategic issue in enhancing the competitiveness of Islamic education in the global era. However, the implementation of quality management in madrasahs is often not yet systemically and sustainably integrated. This article aims to examine the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) in madrasah quality management and to formulate a conceptual model suited to the context of Islamic education in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, with data collected from a range of relevant and up-to-date academic literature. The data were analyzed using content analysis to identify key concepts, theoretical relationships, and best practices in applying TQM within the madrasah environment. The findings reveal that the success of TQM implementation is influenced by transformational leadership of the madrasah principal, participation of all stakeholders, adoption of the CIPP evaluation model, and the internalization of Islamic values. This article proposes a TQM-based madrasah quality management model that is both contextual and applicable. It offers a theoretical contribution to the development of quality systems in Islamic education and recommends further field research to empirically validate the proposed model.

The subject of Aqidah Akhlaq in Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah (MDT) plays a central role in establishing the foundations of faith and commendable character from an early age. However, the transformation of values from the classroom into real-life habituation is often inconsistent, creating a gap between moral knowing and moral action. This study aims to describe the perceptions of 4th-grade MDT students regarding the application of Aqidah Akhlaq values in daily life, identify the influencing factors, and analyze implications for character formation. A qualitative descriptive approach supported by simple percentage data was employed. The subjects were 28 fourth-grade students of MDT Al Anwar, Grobogan Regency, selected through purposive sampling, with 5 students as in-depth interview informants, 1 teacher, and 1 parent as triangulation informants. Data were collected through eight sessions of participatory observation, a four-point Likert scale questionnaire, semi-structured interviews, and student habituation journal documentation. Analysis followed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2014). Results showed that 85.7% of students perceived Aqidah Akhlaq values as a genuine life necessity, not merely examination material. The most consistent application was observed in respect toward teachers (89.3%) and disciplined ablution (78.6%), while independence in performing prayers at home and academic honesty remained fluctuating and dependent on external supervision. Key factors building positive perceptions were teacher exemplarity, structured daily habituation systems, and active family support, while digital media exposure served as the primary inhibiting factor. This study recommends a more structured synergy among the three pillars of education as the key to consistent and autonomous value internalization.
