Agrarian conflicts in Indonesia, including in North Sumatra, are complex problems that often involve various parties such as the community, government, and companies. This study aims to analyze the role of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) as a mediator in resolving agrarian conflicts in North Sumatra. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used to explore the effectiveness of the DPRD's role, the obstacles faced, and the proposed solutions. Primary data was obtained through interviews with key actors, while secondary data came from legal and policy documents. The results show that although DPRDs have a strategic role in resolving agrarian conflicts, this role is often hampered by a lack of understanding of agrarian law, political influence, and limited access to land data. Therefore, capacity building of DPRDs and agrarian policy reform are key to strengthening their role as effective mediators.

In this study, we explore how the tax judiciary can reduce tax evasion and promote compliance in different legal and economic environments. Utilizing qualitative and quantitative analysis in a mixed-methods effort, the article explores the varied judicial contexts, resolutions, and the implications on how taxpayers behave. These findings underscore the important role that judicial interventions play in raising compliance rates, with comparative lessons from Iraq, Germany, and the United States. Although efficient mechanisms for judiciary review exhibit a strong link to improved compliance, low public awareness, resource constraints, and procedural delays have affected optimal performance in the Global South. Key Takeaway: The study emphasizes the need for enhancing technology integration and improving coordination between judicial systems and tax authorities to enable fair enforcement and efficient resolution of disputes. They enhance the literature on tax governance by providing empirical recommendations for increasing judicial efficiency and fundamentals in light of contemporary challenges associated with globalization and digitalization. Potential areas of future research include the use of advanced technologies in changing tax judiciary practices, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain.

The discovery of beads was part of the Indonesian cultural revolution because of their important function and quality so they are still produced and used from the past until now. The aim of this service is to improve the quality of human resources and increase the existence of MSMEs through bead craft training, namely making cellphone straps, bracelets and key chains. The methods used are coordination, training, mentoring, follow-up planning and reflection. The process of implementing this work program is gradual, continuous and ongoing. The results of the bead craft training activities had a positive impact in that all residents who regularly took part in the training succeeded in practicing it independently, so that creativity and innovation in producing contemporary products could be realized. The results of the interviews at the reflection stage showed that all participants who initially could not make bead crafts, after going through training were 100% able to make the bead products they were interested in. So this bead craft training is highly recommended as an increase in creativity.

This study investigates the bond strength of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) bars in concrete at high temperatures. Twenty-four specimens were tested at 600°C to replicate fire conditions and analyze performance consequences in structural applications, with variables such as bar diameter and position within the concrete taken into account. The results show a considerable drop in binding strength, notably in edge-positioned bars with thinner covers, which is related to thermal degradation of the epoxy resin. The stress-slip relationship revealed significant increases in slippage, particularly for bigger diameter bars, as well as the vulnerability of GFRP bars to high temperatures. Failure modes shifted mostly to splitting following exposure, emphasizing the importance of design concerns in fire-prone structures. These findings improve our understanding of GFRP performance in harsh situations, influencing material selection for greater fire resilience.

The research aims to determine the effect of the ethnoscience approach through the problem-based learning model on the chemical literacy skills of Grade XI students in the reaction rate material at SMA Negeri 7 Gorontalo. The research employs a quasi experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of Grade XI IPA ( Natural Science) students from SMA Negeri 7 Gorontalo. The instrument used in this research was an essay test. Data processing and analysis were conducted using Microsoft Office Excel and SPSS version 16. The hypothesis test results on students’ post-test data using the Mann-Whitney test at a significance level of  α = 0.05  showed that the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value was less than 0.05 (0,002 < 0,05). Therefore, H1 was confirmed, and H0 was rejected. The N- Gain test results also indicated that the ethnoscience approach through the problem-based learning model  was moderately effective in improving students’ chemical literacy skills in reaction rate material, with the experimental class achieving an N-Gain score percentage of 57.13% (moderately effective category), while the control class achieved a percentage of 31.42% (ineffective category). In conclusion, the ethnoscience approach through the problem-based learning model significantly affects students’ chemical literacy skills in reaction rate material.

Corn (Zea mays) is a widely cultivated crop in Gorontalo and has high economic value as well as an important role in food security. Fertilization is one of the key factors that influence the productivity of corn plants. This research aims to determine the combination of NPK fertilizer doses granulated with Biochar-Chitosan in enhancing the growth and productivity of corn plants, as well as its impact on the quality of total N soil content. The study was conducted by planting corn, applying fertilizer, and observing its growth through measurements of plant height, leaf length, stem diameter, cob weight with husk, and cob weight without husk. The observational data were then analyzed descriptively, summarizing or classifying the data set to provide an overview of the data. Additionally, the analysis of soil N-total content was conducted before and after the application of fertilizers. The research results show that the combination of NPK-Biochar fertilizer doses has a significant impact on the growth and productivity of corn plants. The 7.5-gram NPK-Biochar fertilizer dose yielded the best results in increasing plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, and cob weight with and without husks compared to other doses. Soil chemical property analysis also indicates that the application of NPK-Biochar fertilizer has a positive impact on the quality of the soil's total nitrogen content.
