History often repeats itself in different contexts, as seen in the political dynamics of Indonesia in 2024, which are similar to the events of 1998. Although it has not yet reached the escalation of reforms, political tensions, polarization of society, and dissatisfaction with the government are the main issues. The fall in the Democracy Index reflects a weakening of freedom of opinion, human rights, and political participation. The wave of massive demonstrations against the revision of the 2024 Pilkada law showed resistance from various elements of society, including students, workers, artists, and public figures. Demonstrators demanded that the DPR comply with Constitutional Court decision Number 60/PUU-XXII/2024 regarding the threshold for the nomination of regional heads and Constitutional Court decision Number 70/PUU-XXII / 2024 regarding the age limit for candidates for regional heads. This research is a literature study with qualitative methods and a normative legal approach, including statutory, case, and conceptual analysis. The Data was obtained through the analysis of relevant legal and regulatory documents, as well as public opinion published in online media. This study provides an overview of the current challenges of Indonesian democracy as well as the implications of legal decisions on national political dynamics.

Indonesia is a country that recognizes two major concepts and then they implement them, such as the Republic and Democracy systems. The two concepts are even stronger presented in the 1945 Constitution as the main part and at the same time a source of pride. However, Indonesia does not really practice the two concepts in reality because they have eliminated one important part of the general problem, namely the position of citizens and their rights in the country. The phenomenon of marginalizing left-wing politics is a tragedy in Indonesian history that makes the construction of the paradigm of Indonesian society consider that left-wing politics is too radical, anarchic and dangerous for Indonesia. so that the steps they take are to stay away from the world of left-wing politics which results in an imbalance between the government and citizens, a gap where the government together with the capitalists compete in progress and happiness, while ordinary people in Indonesia try and fight to stay alive. Left-wing politics is part of one way to apply the principles of Pancasila, especially the fourth and fifth principles. Left-wing politics basically offers a humanitarian struggle, so Indonesia needs that principle to revive national values in the form of real changes to better steps.

Even though in the past Muslim scholars studied a lot in the field of Islamic civilization, with their epistemology they were able to provide the best in the field of science and technology and develop it to all corners of the world. Technology is a source of information today. It is necessary to know that the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad contain many Hadiths about Science and Technology. The Society 5.0 era integrates digital technology with human values to create a human-centered society that addresses social issues, enhances quality of life, and promotes sustainability. Digital literacy and multidimensional skills are crucial in education to prepare students for global challenges. Strengthening literacy in reading, numeracy, science, finance, digital competence, and citizenship is key to adaptation and progress. However, literacy levels in Indonesia, including at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Prabumulih, require improvement to foster critical thinking and knowledge application. Based on multiliteracy and multidimensional theories, literacy development extends beyond text comprehension to include interactions with cultural, social, and technological contexts for meaningful learning. This qualitative study with a phenomenological approach explores students' literacy levels, relevant literacy concepts for Society 5.0, the integration of Islamic Education (PAI) values with literacy, and how PAI supports literacy enhancement at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Prabumulih. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that students' literacy levels remain moderate, requiring enhancement. Literacy integration with PAI is evident in thematic approaches, linking zakat to financial literacy and Qur'anic verses to science. However, optimizing facilities, teacher training, and project-based learning is necessary for stronger literacy development.

This study aims to assess the extent of business actors' understanding of halal certification in Pangkalpinang City. The research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected from micro, small, and medium enterprises in Pangkalpinang, involving eight UMKM actors as informants. The findings reveal that most business actors have a fairly good awareness of the importance of halal certification for their products. However, the limited knowledge possessed by UMKM actors regarding certification leads to a lack of clear understanding of the procedures and application process. This situation is caused by the lack of outreach efforts from relevant parties, particularly the Pangkalpinang City government. Therefore, the government needs to make extra efforts to provide socialization and education to business actors so they can clearly understand the flow and procedures for halal certification registration for their products. In addition, the role of Halal Product Assistants (PPH) is also crucial, as they are directly involved with the community

The methodology used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, which aims to determine the effect of independent variables on dependent variables, both individually and simultaneously. The findings of this study indicate that simultaneously, foreign debt, foreign investment, inflation, and non-oil and gas exports have a significant impact on Indonesia's economic growth during the period 1994 to 2023. Separately (partially), foreign debt and inflation have a significant negative effect on Indonesia's economic growth in the period 1994 to 2023. On the other hand, foreign investment shows an insignificant negative impact on the country's economic growth in the same period. Background : Smoking is a dangerous habit that causes various diseases and death.  Passive smokers, especially children and teenagers, are more susceptible to disease than active smokers.  The prevalence of passive smoking in Indonesia is quite high, especially among women (66%) and teenagers (12.7%).  Jambi Province has a high number of active smokers (27.47%), resulting in an increase in passive smoking among children and teenagers.  Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors that influence passive smoking behavior among elementary school children in Jambi Province. Methods : This research uses quantitative methods with an analytical observational design.  The design of this research is cross-sectional, where each subject is only observed once.  Data collection was carried out through approaches, observations and data collection simultaneously on students at Elementary School 59/IV, Jambi City. Results : The results showed that 9 respondents (13.8%) were passive smokers, while 56 respondents (86.2%) did not smoke passively.  Statistical analysis found a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes and passive smoking behavior (p < 0.05).  However, the influence of peers and family did not have a significant relationship. Conclusion : This research concludes that increasing knowledge and positive attitudes can reduce the risk of passive smoking behavior in elementary school children.  Therefore, prevention programs should focus on health education and the formation of positive attitudes.
