Ferritin is considered a protein that contains iron and includes two types of subunits: ferritin light chain (FTL) and ferritin heavy chain (FTH), which increases when inflammation increases, especially in the heart and kidneys, and helps in converting ferrous iron into iron. The light subunit is present in the liver and spleen and has a role in storing iron (1). Coronavirus (COVID-19) caused by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 is a disease It is new to humanity, as it is accompanied by symptoms during the disease, including blood abnormalities, with activation of the immune system and phagocytic monocytes, and damage to the lungs. In our study, we showed that ferritin is an indicator of the severity of the disease and mortality (2). Acute respiratory syndrome (Coronavirus), which causes pneumonia and damages the heart, liver, and kidneys, is caused by the appearance of acute inflammatory cytokines that lead to death (3). A cytokine is a small protein that transmits messages to help stimulate the body’s immune response, and its rise causes increased inflammation, and these Cytokines secreted by macrophages (TNF-α, IL-10, IL-6) where there is high inflammation in the plasma. An indicator of the progress and severity of the disease (3).

This study examines the synthesis and characterization of new compounds produced from chalcone, confirming their favorable yield and excellent purity utilizing Using FT-IR and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The compounds showed efficacy comparable to that of conventional antibiotics, demonstrating substantial bactericidal activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Interestingly, molecule S10 had stronger antibacterial activity, possibly as a result of its efficient electronic pairings. Furthermore, the compounds demonstrated resilience for up to 45 seconds when tested for stability under helium-neon laser irradiation. Longer exposure (60 seconds), however, caused discernible color and melting point alterations, suggesting thermal or photochemical deterioration. These results point to the possibility of additional pharmacological uses for molecules produced from chalcone.

This study examines the relationship between interest rates, inflation, and investment, as well as their impact on economic growth. High interest rates tend to hinder investment by increasing capital costs, while uncontrolled inflation can create economic uncertainty that negatively affects investment decisions. Based on the Fisher Effect concept, the nominal interest rate is the sum of the real interest rate and the expected inflation rate, indicating that changes in inflation directly influence central bank interest rate policies. An analysis of various journals reveals that interest rates have a negative relationship with investment, while inflation can have both positive and negative effects depending on its level. If inflation remains stable, investment tends to increase; however, if inflation is too high, purchasing power declines, and investors seek safer assets. On a macroeconomic scale, healthy investment is a key factor in driving economic growth, as it contributes to job creation and increased production. Therefore, a balanced monetary policy is essential to maintaining inflation stability, interest rates, and investment growth to ensure sustainable economic development.

This research describes the Implementation of Population Administration Policies on Administrative Vulnerable Populations (Study on Suku Anak Dalam in Bungo Regency, Jambi Province). Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of population administration in administratively vulnerable populations such as Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) has been implemented by the Bungo District Government through the Bungo District Population and Civil Registration Office, but only a small proportion of SAD residents are recorded and obtain population documents. This is due to the absence of specific regulations governing the data collection and recording of administratively vulnerable populations such as SAD. In addition, the causes of the lack of optimal administration of administratively vulnerable populations such as SAD in Bungo Regency, Jambi Province are limited resources and funds, as well as natural factors due to the distance from the city, a nomadic and closed lifestyle, plus language problems that are difficult to understand. Therefore, in order to achieve Orderly Population Administration specifically for vulnerable populations such as SAD, there needs to be a policy that applies specifically to SAD residents in addition to policies that apply generally in population administration data collection. In addition, the relevant agencies can carry out cross-sectoral cooperation and need to make special plans regarding the financing of data collection and form a Special Officer Unit to carry out data collection of administratively vulnerable populations such as SAD in the Bungo Regency area.

The use of probiotics is very important in cultivation activities. Probiotics are live microorganisms that have a beneficial effect on the host by balancing the microflora in their intestines. In increasing the nutritional content of artificial feed (pellets), the bacteria in probiotics have a mechanism for forming several enzymes for digesting feed. This study aims to determine the effect of giving delacto probiotics at different doses in artificial feed on the absolute weight growth of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Probiotics are mixed with feed using a biofloc cultivation system. The method used in this research was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 6 replications, namely by adding different doses to the treatments. Treatments A (8ml/kg), B (16 ml/kg), C (24 ml/kg) and D (32 ml/kg). The parameter observed was absolute weight growth. Water quality supporting parameters include temperature, pH and DO. Data were analyzed using the ANOVA test. Based on the research results, it shows that giving different doses of delacto probiotics has a significant effect on the absolute weight growth of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Treatment A (8 ml/kg) gave the lowest absolute weight growth of 32.83 grams and treatment D (32 ml/kg) gave the highest absolute weight growth of 40.57 grams. Water quality parameters include water temperature ranging from 25.3 – 26.1֯C, acidity ranging from 7.5 – 8.0. And dissolved oxygen ranges from 4.7 – 5.3 ppm. Vannamei shrimp is one of the shrimp species with economic value and is one of the national leading commodities. On the other hand, one of the problems in vannamei shrimp cultivation is its slow growth, slow growth is caused by the less optimal absorption of nutrients in the feed. In dealing with these problems, one of the things that is done is the administration of probiotics. The addition of probiotics such as Biolacto containing Lactobacillus sp bacteria to the feed can increase the appetite of shrimp. This study aims to determine the effect of biolacto probiotics on feed on the growth of the absolute weight of vannamei shrimp. This study used a Complete Random Design (RAL) with four treatments: A (feed without a mixture of probiotics), B (probiotics 2 gr/100 gr feed), C (probiotics 4 gr/100 gr feed), and D (probiotics 6 gr/100 gr feed). Treatment B with a concentration of probiotics 2gr/100g feed gave the highest absolute weight growth of 9.2 gr. Water quality data during the study were obtained with water temperature ranging from 28.5 – 29.2°Celsius, salinity ranging from 36 – 37 ppt, pH ranging from 7.5 – 8.0, and dissolved oxygen ranging from 4.0 to 4.63 mg/l. The results of the ANOVA analysis of the four water quality parameters showed no difference between treatments and were in the optimal range of life of vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei).
