The waqf mushaf program in Garut Village, Kopo District, Serang Regency, Banten, was part of the Student Community Service (KKM) initiative aimed at supporting religious education in the area. This activity arose from the identified need for Qur’anic manuscripts in local institutions, which significantly limited the effectiveness of Qur’anic learning. The program involved several stages: preparation, identifying the needs of the community, fundraising, the distribution of mushaf to madrasahs and Qur’anic centers, and evaluation. A participatory approach was employed, where the community actively participated as both donors and beneficiaries. This approach not only facilitated the smooth execution of the program but also ensured a sense of ownership and responsibility among the local people. The program received strong support, with high levels of community participation in fundraising and distribution activities. The results showed a marked improvement in access to Qur’anic learning, as teachers and students now had better resources to facilitate their study of the Qur'an. The distribution of mushaf not only enhanced the quality of education but also fostered a greater awareness of waqf as an important Islamic social instrument. Through this initiative, the community gained a deeper understanding of the value of waqf in contributing to religious education and promoting social welfare

Corn (Zea mays L.) is an important commodity in Indonesia, but in Citaman Village, Nagreg District, its utilization is still limited to fresh sales with low added value. To address this issue, a community service program was implemented that focused on empowering village women through training in processing corn into corn nuggets as an innovative product with economic value. The activity was designed with a community-based participatory approach that included coordination with village officials, extension sessions, processing demonstrations, hands-on practice, and evaluation through pre- and post-training questionnaires. The results of the activity showed that more than 85% of participants were very satisfied and more than 80% expressed a high interest in developing corn nuggets as a small-scale business opportunity. These findings indicate a significant increase in participants' knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial motivation. The corn nugget innovation is not only a means of optimizing the use of local commodities, but is also relevant to the global trend of plant-based foods and supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Zero Hunger, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Responsible Consumption and Production. Overall, this program proves that local food-based innovation can be used as a model for replicating community empowerment that contributes to strengthening economic resilience while encouraging sustainable development in rural areas.

This research discusses the practice of religious moderation at SMPN 2 Ampek Nagari, a secondary school with Muslim students as the majority and non-Muslim students as the minority. The aim of the research is to describe social interactions between Muslim and non-Muslim students, analyze the role of teachers in instilling the value of religious moderation, and identify challenges that arise in the process. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The research results show that social interactions between Muslim and non-Muslim students are harmonious, characterized by cooperation in academic and non-academic activities without discrimination. Teachers play an important role as facilitators, role models and mediators in instilling tolerant attitudes through religious learning, citizenship education and other school activities. However, challenges were also found in the form of negative stereotypes brought from the family environment, as well as feelings of awkwardness in dealing with differences in religious practices. These findings confirm that schools function as laboratories for religious moderation, but their success requires support from parents and the community. Thus, the experience of SMPN 2 Ampek Nagari can become a model for implementing inclusive religious moderation for other secondary schools in Indonesia.

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of tajwid learning and its influence on the Qur’an reading ability of grade XII RPL 2 students at SMKN 1 Wonosobo. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through classroom observation and interviews with both the teacher and selected students. The findings indicate that the tajwid learning process in grade XII RPL 2 has been quite effective, as it is conducted in accordance with the established rules of tajwid. The use of varied teaching methods, particularly those emphasizing reading practice, has positively influenced students’ ability to recite the Qur’an correctly. Most students are able to read fluently, observe the proper length of vowels, and articulate the letters according to their correct makhraj. Nevertheless, a small number of students have not yet fully mastered the application of makharijul letters consistently, thus requiring further guidance and practice. Overall, tajwid learning in this class contributes significantly to the improvement of Qur’an reading skills, both in terms of fluency and accuracy. Furthermore, this study highlights that mastery of tajwid is crucial for preserving the authenticity of Qur’anic recitation as well as enhancing students’ understanding and appreciation of the Qur’an. Therefore, tajwid instruction not only develops technical reading skills but also plays an important role in fostering religious and spiritual values among learners.

Story writing skills are one of the essential competencies in learning Indonesian language at the elementary school level. However, in reality, many students still face difficulties in expressing ideas, organizing plots, and using language appropriately. Therefore, a learning model that can improve students’ story writing skills is needed. Project Based Learning (PjBL) was chosen because it emphasizes student activity, creativity, collaboration, and the production of tangible written works. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which was carried out in two cycles. The subjects of the study were 14 third-grade students of MI Ziyadatul Iman, Jambi City. The research instruments included a story writing test, student activity observation sheets, and documentation. Data were analyzed using both quantitative techniques (average scores, mastery percentages) and qualitative techniques (student activity and reflection in each cycle). The findings showed that students’ story writing skills improved through the implementation of PjBL. The average score increased from 62.86 in the first cycle to 79.29 in the second cycle. The percentage of learning mastery also rose from 42.86% in the first cycle to 85.71% in the second cycle. In addition, students became more active, creative, and collaborative during the learning process. The implementation of Project Based Learning can therefore enhance the story writing skills of third-grade students at MI Ziyadatul Iman, Jambi City, both in terms of learning outcomes and learning activities.

This research aims to analyze the crucial role of the shipping agency—specifically PT. Maritime Network Indonesia Dumai Branch—in preparing the vessel departure and arrival schedule (line-up). Line-up preparation is a strategic process that involves vessel plotting at Pelindo Dumai Port and is vital for supporting the smooth running of port operations and loading/unloading activities. The research methodology includes field research (field research) to observe direct practices at the port and literature review (library research) to reinforce the theoretical and regulatory foundations. The findings confirm that the shipping agency plays an important role in ensuring the efficiency of the port schedule. Nevertheless, in practice, the line-up preparation process faces several significant challenges. These obstacles include the limited authority of local agents in independently determining vessel plotting, restricted coordination meeting schedules, and the continued use of manual and inefficient communication methods. This lack of integrated communication often leads to inaccuracies in the initial line-up preparation, forcing agents to recalculate the previously arranged vessel positions. The conclusion of this study suggests the need for developing an integrated system that facilitates real-time communication and reporting to all relevant agencies. Adopting a digital system will enhance process efficiency, ensure proper documentation, and minimize errors, thereby accelerating the vessel plotting coordination process in the field.

Digital technology chance in Indonesia presents both occasions and constraint for the development of Islamic economics, particularly in implementing Islamic business strategies through e-commerce. The adoption of digital technology, including Islamic fintech and halal e-commerce, has expanded market access, improved efficiency, and strengthened MSME competitiveness while adhering to sharia principles. This study employs a qualitative method using library research and the maqāshid shariah framework to examine the role of digital innovations such as fintech and blockchain in supporting Islamic entrepreneurship. The findings indicate that Islamic business strategies in the digital era have the potential to broaden international market reach, enhance transaction clarity, and reinforce compliance with sharia principles. Furthermore, digital innovation aligns with maqāshid shariah objectives, focusing on the protection of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth. However, challenges remain, including low digital literacy, complex sharia regulations, and the risk of platform misuse. Therefore, cross-sector collaboration, the enhancement of digital and Islamic economic literacy, and strengthening the role of sharia e-commerce supervisory bodies are essential to build a fair and sustainable business ecosystem. With these strategic measures, digital technology integration can serve as a key instrument in strengthening the ummah’s economy, promoting financial inclusion, and positioning Indonesia as a global hub for Islamic economics.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of zakat in reducing income inequality in Indonesia. The data used is secondary data from the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the 2015–2024 period. The research method used multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) approach. The results showed that the distribution of zakat had a significant positive effect on the Gini Index (β = 0.0013511; p = 0.002), while the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita had a significant negative effect (β = –0.0000198; p = 0.000). An Adjusted R² value of 0.91 indicates that the model has a very strong ability to explain variations in income inequality. These findings show that although the collection and distribution of zakat has increased from year to year, its impact on reducing inequality has not been optimal. This can be caused by the limited amount of zakat funds collected compared to the real needs of the community and the distribution that is not fully on target. On the other hand, economic growth reflected in the increase in GDP per capita has proven to be still the dominant factor in reducing income inequality in Indonesia. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of optimizing zakat management so that it not only functions as a philanthropic instrument, but also as a sustainable economic instrument. BAZNAS and related institutions are expected to be able to strengthen the zakat distribution system through productive economic empowerment programs, so that zakat can make a real contribution in reducing inequality and supporting more inclusive development in Indonesia.

The role of notary organizations is critical in the continuous development and supervision of the notary's position, especially concerning personal behavior, both in carrying out office duties and in daily life. The notary profession holds a significant position in the legal framework of society as it produces authentic deeds that carry the highest probative value. As such, integrity and professional ethics are foundational principles in the execution of notarial duties. This research aims to analyze the role of notary organizations, specifically the Indonesian Notary Association (INI) in Sleman Regency, in reinforcing professional ethics and maintaining the quality of legal services for the public. The research employs a normative-sociological approach, utilizing studies of legal regulations, notary electronic codes, and interviews with INI Sleman administrators. The findings indicate that notary organizations contribute through (1) socializing ethical codes and professional standards, (2) conducting internal supervision through honorary councils, (3) providing ethical sanctions for violations, and (4) offering development programs and capacity-building initiatives for members. However, the study also identifies several challenges, including limited supervisory resources, resistance from some members, and a lack of public understanding regarding the importance of professional ethics. These obstacles hinder the full potential of notary organizations in ensuring professional conduct and upholding the quality of notarial services. The research underscores the need for stronger collaboration and awareness to address these issues.

Government procurement, particularly in Indonesia, remains highly susceptible to corruption due to systemic regulatory loopholes and excessive human discretion, often characterized by collusion and bid-rigging. This institutional vulnerability defines the traditional "boundaries of corruption" as the discretionary corridors within existing administrative law. This research aims to fundamentally redesign these boundaries by shifting control from human discretion to technological enforcement. This study employs normative legal research focusing on the Presidential Regulation on Procurement, integrated with a technological design approach relevant to the journal. The core contribution is a reform model proposing the mandatory integration of AI-powered Smart Contracts and Distributed Ledger Technology (Blockchain) into the public procurement process. Key findings indicate that the primary corrupt boundary lies in ambiguous clauses concerning direct appointments and contract amendments. We propose that an AI-based system can monitor real-time pricing anomalies and bidder networks (network analysis), while Smart Contracts can automate and audit execution, thereby eliminating human factor vulnerability. This redesign transforms the boundaries of corruption from a matter of criminal enforcement to one of algorithmic inevitability, providing a robust, transparent, and self-auditing framework for digital governance.

Corporate corruption poses a significant threat to economic stability and public trust. Traditional punitive sanctions, such as substantial fines or dissolution, often fail to achieve restorative justice and can lead to unintended consequences, including harm to innocent employees and stakeholders. This paper explores the imperative of developing alternative sanctions for corporations implicated in corruption cases, with a central focus on establishing a framework grounded in fairness. Through a normative juridical research method employing statutory, comparative, and conceptual approaches, this study analyzes the limitations of the current punitive paradigm. It examines various alternative sanctions, including Deferred Prosecution Agreements (DPAs), Non-Prosecution Agreements (NPAs), corporate monitorship, and mandatory compliance program overhauls. The findings indicate that these alternatives offer a more flexible and effective mechanism for balancing accountability with corporate rehabilitation. They create opportunities to incentivize self-reporting, cooperation, and genuine internal reform. This paper concludes that by integrating principles of proportionality, restorative justice, and forward-looking prevention into the legal framework, a fairer and more effective corporate sanctioning system can be developed. Such a system would not only penalize misconduct but also foster a culture of corporate integrity and contribute more effectively to the broader fight against corruption.
