Good pharmaceutical procurement management can prevent stock shortages, reduce costs, and improve healthcare service quality. However, issues such as medication shortages, delayed procurement, and discrepancies between demand and supply are still common. This literature review aims to analyze pharmaceutical procurement management in hospital pharmacy units. The literature search yielded 10 relevant articles on pharmaceutical procurement management in hospital pharmacy units. The databases used were Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Semantic Scholar. The keywords used were management, pharmaceutical procurement, and hospital. The search results underwent a screening process using the PICO elements and the CRAAP method. The findings indicate that pharmaceutical management in various hospitals has shown progress, but still faces challenges such as inaccurate data collection, delayed drug supply, and storage facilities that do not meet standards. Other obstacles include limited funds, inability to pay on time, and a lack of integrated information systems. However, some aspects are well-managed, such as the use of e-purchasing and proper drug storage categorization.

Stunting is a major health problem in Indonesia which affects physical, cognitive growth and future disease risk. This study aims to analyze the effect of drinking water source quality on the prevalence of stunting in Gorontalo Province. The research is a quantitative research. The source of data in this study is secondary data with a target number of 208,303 households who are couples of childbearing age, pregnant women, and families with children 0-59 months in Gorontalo Province. Analysis result showed that there is a significant influence between drinking inadequate water and the risk of stunting with a sig value. 0.003, and the value of R = 0.956 and R² = 0.913, which means that 91.3% of the drinking water variable affects the level of stunting risk.  Inadequate water increases the risk of infections such as diarrhea, which inhibits the absorption of nutrients. Providing clean water should be a priority to reduce stunting. However, this intervention needs to be complemented by improved sanitation, community education, and improved child nutrition. This study is expected to be the basis of strategic policies to reduce the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia.

Burns are a type of trauma caused by various external factors such as heat, electrical current, chemicals, or lightning, which can damage the skin, mucosa, and deeper tissues. Extensive burns can affect the metabolism and overall function of the body. Burns are classified based on their severity: first-degree burns (affecting only the epidermis with symptoms of erythema and pain), superficial second-degree burns (extending into the epidermis and part of the dermis, accompanied by blisters and severe pain), deep second-degree burns (involving the entire dermis), and third-degree burns (involving the epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue, with damage to blood vessels that reduces blood flow to the affected area). Burn management aims to prevent infection and allow epithelial cells to proliferate and close the wound. Additionally, burns can lead to serious complications such as hypovolemic shock, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, cellulitis, and skin contractures. Therefore, prompt and proper initial treatment is crucial to prevent further complications. With a better understanding of burns, it is hoped that the quality of patient care can be improved, accelerating the healing process and reducing the risk of serious complications.

Abdominal wall defects are a common surgical presentation and an indication for surgery worldwide, with an estimated prevalence of around 5% in the general population. Ventral hernias may be asymptomatic, but symptoms of discomfort and pain can significantly impact quality of life and may be associated with a negative body image. This technique utilizes the layered anatomy of the abdominal wall, and depending on which layer is released, it can be categorized as anterior component separation. This case study discusses a patient with a ventral hernia. After taking the patient's history, conducting a physical examination, and additional assessments, the patient underwent surgical intervention using the anterior component separation technique with mesh reinforcement. In this case study, the short-term outcomes (<2 years) for the post-operative hernia patient with anterior component separation will be evaluated. The study results indicate that the patient experienced mild to moderate post-operative pain, with no serious complications such as seroma or mesh erosion occurring, confirming that the choice of surgical technique and appropriate mesh selection can minimize the risk of infection and complications. The evaluation results show a significant improvement in the patient’s quality of life post-surgery, as the patient not only experienced pain reduction but also improvements in daily activities and satisfaction with the aesthetic results of their abdomen.

In this modern era, technological advancements have reached their peak, impacting almost every aspect of human life. In education at schools, educators must also be able to provide innovation to their students so that they are more motivated to learn. To do this, educators can use digital technology to create different and still educational learning content, but there are several obstacles faced at SDN 1 Rejosari, namely the lack of a computer lab, resulting in insufficient implementation of technology in the curriculum. Thus, the goal of this community service is to introduce infographics and advertisements using the Canva application, aimed at enhancing the creativity of the students at SDN 1 Rejosari. This community service activity began with the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of the evaluation stage showed a percentage of 90 – 100% in understanding the introduction to the material presented, but in practice, only 65% was achieved. Therefore, further action is needed, specifically continuous training on infographic and advertisement design using Canva.
