The incidence of violent behavior among mental health patients globally reaches 9%. One of the independent interventions carried out by nurses is the application of implementation strategies for patients with violent behavior tendencies, whose risk level is greater than that of other patients. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementation strategies on the risk of violent behavior in patients with mental disorders at the Aceh Mental Hospital. The implementation strategy consists of four main techniques: building trust, training in controlling violent behavior through medication, training in social/verbal risk control, and training in spiritual control. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. A total of 2,166 inpatients at risk of violent behavior were identified over a one-year period, and 10 respondents were selected as samples using purposive sampling based on inclusion criteria. The research instrument was the BPAQ questionnaire, with aggression assessment ranging from low to very high. The results showed that the pretest average for signs and symptoms was 38.40, while the posttest score decreased to 11.60 after the implementation strategy intervention. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods, with a paired t-test yielding a p-value of 0.000 (less than 0.05). This study concluded that the implementation strategy had a significant impact in reducing the risk of violent behavior in patients. It is recommended that patients' understanding of the implementation strategy therapy be continuously improved as an effort to control violent behavior.

Developmental deviations in children under five years of age are estimated to affect approximately 5-10% of this population, with inappropriate stimulation, particularly from electronic devices such as gadgets, being a significant contributing factor. Early exposure to these technologies can lead to decreased physical activity, adversely impacting the overall development of children, including their gross and fine motor skills, language acquisition, socialization, and independence. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of gadget usage on the developmental outcomes of preschool children in the Banda Sakti District of Lhokseumawe, utilizing an observational analytic research method with a cross-sectional design to collect both primary and secondary data. The results indicated varying levels of gadget usage among respondents: 40 individuals (42%) fell into the high usage category, 31 individuals (32%) were classified as moderate users, and 25 individuals (26%) were categorized as low users. Among those with low gadget usage, 6 respondents (24%) displayed questionable developmental outcomes, while in the moderate and high usage categories, 22 respondents (71.1%) and 22 respondents (55%) respectively exhibited similar concerns. This study reveals that a significant number of children are facing developmental disorders, with 21 respondents (37.5%) experiencing challenges related to socialization and independence, and 17 respondents (30.4%) demonstrating speech and language difficulties. Notably, a substantial proportion of preschool children (52 respondents or 54.2%) were identified as having high levels of gadget usage, and the study established a significant correlation between the intensity of gadget use and the occurrence of developmental disorders in preschool children within the Banda Sakti District of Lhokseumawe.

The elderly is among the most vulnerable groups in society due to progressive biological decline that weakens physical resistance, making them prone to chronic diseases such as hypertension. Hypertension is one of the most common multifactorial disorders in older adults, and its severity may be influenced by anxiety, which stimulates the sympathetic nervous system and increases blood pressure. This study aimed to examine the relationship between anxiety levels and hypertension among the elderly in the working area of Andalas Health Center, Padang City. An analytic study with a cross-sectional design was conducted involving 81 elderly participants diagnosed with hypertension, selected through accidental sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The Geriatric Anxiety Scale (GAS) was employed as the research instrument, while data analysis used the Chi-square test. Results showed that the majority of respondents experienced mild anxiety (67 respondents, 82.7%) and uncontrolled hypertension (54 respondents, 66.6%). Statistical analysis revealed a p-value of 0.534, indicating no significant association between anxiety levels and hypertension in the elderly population studied. These findings are consistent with several previous studies reporting that the relationship between anxiety and blood pressure in the elderly is often inconsistent, largely due to other risk factors including age, gender, low physical activity, comorbidities, and poor adherence to antihypertensive treatment. The implication of this study highlights the necessity of a holistic approach to hypertension management in the elderly, addressing not only psychological aspects but also lifestyle modification, treatment adherence education, and strengthening public health programs. Therefore, this research is expected to serve as input for health workers at community health centers to improve strategies for preventing and controlling hypertension in elderly populations.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder whose prevalence continues to rise, making it a major challenge for health systems worldwide. This disease results from a combination of insulin resistance and impaired pancreatic β-cell function, leading to persistent hyperglycemia and increased risk of long-term complications affecting the kidneys, cardiovascular system, nervous system, and eyes. This report describes the case of a 52-year-old woman diagnosed with T2DM for approximately ten years. The patient presented with fatigue, nocturnal polyuria, nausea after meals, significant weight loss, and tingling in her extremities. Laboratory findings revealed an HbA1c level of 12%, reflecting very poor glycemic control. A family medicine approach was applied through detailed history taking, physical and laboratory examinations, home visits, and completion of a family folder to assess clinical, personal, social, and functional aspects. Interventions included counseling on balanced diet, encouragement of regular physical activity, education on diabetic foot care, and pharmacological treatment with metformin and insulin. The family received counseling about hereditary risk factors, the importance of emotional support, and the need for consistent monitoring of health status. The patient was still capable of light daily activities, supported by a highly functional family environment with an APGAR score of 10. A holistic family medicine–based approach was shown to improve treatment adherence, patient knowledge, and overall quality of life. Therefore, management of T2DM requires a comprehensive strategy that integrates promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative components, emphasizing the active involvement of family and community at the primary care level to reduce complications, slow disease progression, and enhance patient well-being.   Keywords: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder whose prevalence continues to rise, making it a major challenge for health systems worldwide. Background: Pregnant women with poor nutritional status are at risk of experiencing low breast milk production, which in turn can affect the fulfillment of infant nutrition from an early age. Suboptimal breast milk production impacts the growth and development of infants and has the potential to increase the incidence of malnutrition. Based on preliminary data in the Siti Hajar Room of Sultan Hadlirin Islamic Hospital, Jepara, it was found that several postpartum mothers experienced delayed breast milk production with a history of malnutrition. This condition shows the importance of maternal nutritional status during pregnancy as a factor that directly influences lactation. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between the nutritional status of pregnant women and postpartum breast milk production in the Siti Hajar Room of Sultan Hadlirin Islamic Hospital, Jepara. Method: The study used a cross-sectional design with a total sampling technique. A total of 30 postpartum mothers were selected as respondents. The independent variable consisted of the nutritional status of pregnant women as measured by Body Mass Index (BMI), Upper Arm Circumference (LILA), and hemoglobin (Hb) levels. The dependent variable was postpartum breast milk production as observed clinically. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of p < 0.05. Results: The results of the study showed a significant relationship between the nutritional status of pregnant women and breast milk production. Statistical tests found that BMI (p = 0.018), LiLA (p = 0.027), and Hb levels (p = 0.006) had a significant association with the adequacy of breast milk production. Conclusion: The nutritional status of pregnant women was proven to be closely related to postpartum breast milk production. Mothers with good nutritional status tend to produce sufficient breast milk production. This finding emphasizes the need for routine nutritional monitoring of pregnant women and nutritional education during pregnancy to support the success of exclusive breastfeeding.

This study examines the role of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) as a moderator in the relationship between employee engagement, job satisfaction, and employee performance at the Tarokan District Office in Kediri Regency. The research focuses on analyzing how these variables interact and influence each other within the organizational context. The findings indicate that employee engagement has a significant impact on employee performance. This suggests that when employees are more engaged in their work, they tend to exhibit higher levels of performance. Similarly, job satisfaction also significantly influences employee performance. Employees who are satisfied with their work environment and tasks tend to perform better in their roles. However, the study reveals that organizational citizenship behavior does not significantly influence employee performance. This implies that while OCB is often considered a valuable aspect of employee behavior, it does not directly affect how well employees perform their tasks in this particular setting. Additionally, employee engagement does not significantly affect organizational citizenship behavior, indicating that engaged employees do not necessarily engage in extra-role behaviors like helping others or going beyond job requirements. The research also shows that job satisfaction does not have a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, which suggests that employees’ satisfaction with their work does not automatically lead to behaviors that contribute to the broader success of the organization. Furthermore, neither employee engagement nor job satisfaction significantly influences employee performance through organizational citizenship behavior, indicating that OCB does not serve as an effective moderator in these relationships. In conclusion, the main factor in improving employee performance is organizational citizenship behavior does not play a significant moderating role in this dynamic at the Tarokan District Office.

This study aims to analyze the influence of workload, work discipline, and the work environment on employee performance at the Tarokan District Office. Employee performance is a crucial element in achieving organizational objectives, as human resources are considered the most valuable asset of an institution. Workload, work discipline, and the work environment are three interrelated factors that often determine whether employees can achieve optimal performance levels. This research employs a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of the Tarokan District Office. The analysis was conducted to examine both partial and simultaneous effects of the three variables on employee performance. The findings reveal that workload partially has a significant effect on employee performance, indicating that a balanced workload improves effectiveness while excessive workload may hinder output. Similarly, work discipline partially demonstrates a significant effect, highlighting the role of adherence to rules and punctuality in enhancing performance outcomes. The work environment also partially exerts a significant effect, suggesting that supportive facilities, comfortable conditions, and positive interpersonal relationships contribute to higher productivity. Furthermore, the results show that workload, work discipline, and work environment simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. These findings provide important implications for organizational leaders in designing policies that ensure sustainable performance improvements.

This study aims to determine the effect of brand association, brand awareness, and brand loyalty on brand equity. The background of this research is the increasing competition in the smartphone industry, where leading brands are competing to capture consumer attention, particularly Generation Z, who have unique characteristics in using technology. Generation Z is a group that is highly engaged with digital development, quick in accessing information, and critical in making brand choices. Therefore, understanding the factors that influence brand equity among this generation is essential, especially for Samsung as the research object. This research is categorized as quantitative with a descriptive-verificative approach. The population in this study consisted of Samsung smartphone consumers from Generation Z in Nias City. Data were collected using questionnaires designed to measure the independent variables, namely brand association, brand awareness, and brand loyalty, as well as the dependent variable, brand equity. The sampling technique applied was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach, where respondents were selected based on specific criteria. The total sample obtained was 100 respondents. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS version 22. The analysis was conducted to examine the partial effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The findings indicate that brand association, brand awareness, and brand loyalty each have a significant partial effect on brand equity. These results suggest that the stronger the brand associations held by consumers, the higher their awareness of Samsung as a brand, and the greater their loyalty, the stronger the brand equity will be among Generation Z. The implications of this study highlight the importance for companies to strengthen brand-based marketing strategies by emphasizing emotional value, enhancing brand exposure, and maintaining consumer loyalty. Such efforts will enable Samsung to sustain its competitive position in the increasingly dynamic smartphone market.

This study aims to determine the influence of compensation, occupational safety and health, and work motivation on employee job statisfaction. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to employees of CV. Rizky Berdikari Mandiri. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, with a total of 53 respondents. The analytical tool used is descriptive (primary data) by using a questionnaire which is assisted by a likert scale and given to respondents. The analytical tool used is SPSS software version 29. The results of the study show that partially Compensation and Occupational Safety and Health (K3) have a positive and significant effect on employee job statisfaction, while Work Motivation does not have a significant effect on employee job statisfaction at the CV. Rizky Berdikari Mandiri. However, the study also found that work motivation does not have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at CV. Rizky Berdikari Mandiri. This finding suggests that while motivation is often seen as a driving factor for employee performance, other factors, such as compensation and workplace safety, may have a more direct and immediate influence on job satisfaction in this particular context. It is possible that the intrinsic and extrinsic motivators currently in place at the company may not be as effective or prominent in comparison to compensation and safety initiatives. The study concludes that while compensation and occupational safety are significant drivers of job satisfaction, work motivation should still be addressed but perhaps with more targeted strategies to ensure that employees are adequately motivated and engaged. Further research could explore how different types of motivation—intrinsic and extrinsic—affect employee satisfaction in various organizational settings.

Film is one of the most effective forms of mass communication for conveying messages to the public. Home Sweet Loan is a film that presents elements of representation reflecting the spirit of a generation in pursuing their dreams. This research aims to identify and understand the various representations of the spirit of pursuing dreams as depicted in the film Home Sweet Loan. Using Roland Barthes semiotic analysis, this study explores the representations by breaking down the denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings embedded in the film’s scenes and dialogues as research data. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, documentation, interviews, and literature review. The findings reveal several representations of the spirit of pursuing dreams, which include: (1) a strong desire to own a home despite limitations, (2) financial discipline in managing income and expenses, (3) independence from social standards and expectations, (4) persistence in facing harsh realities of economic and social pressure, and (5) courage to step out from one’s comfort zone and take risks. These elements collectively reflect the struggles of the younger generation, especially urban communities, in achieving personal independence and long-term aspirations. Overall, the study highlights how Home Sweet Loan functions not only as a medium of entertainment but also as a cultural text that conveys values of resilience, financial awareness, and self-determination. The film illustrates that pursuing dreams requires both perseverance and the ability to resist limiting stereotypes, making it relevant to broader discussions on representation in contemporary Indonesian cinema.
