This study developed a Discovery Learning model with a Meaningful Learning approach to improve students' critical thinking skills in Economics at SMAN 2 Tulang Bawang Udik. The study used the ADDIE model and produced a conceptual model, lesson plans, student worksheets, and HOTS assessment instruments. Expert validation results showed that the products were feasible, practicality tests obtained a very practical category, and effectiveness tests with a Nonequivalent Control Group design showed that the critical thinking of students in the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. These results confirm that this learning model is feasible, practical, and effective, and can be a guide for teachers for active, contextual, and high-level thinking skills-oriented learning. Additionally, the integration of Discovery Learning and Meaningful Learning provides a structured and student-centered learning process that encourages learners to construct knowledge independently while connecting concepts to real-life contexts. The resulting learning tools also support teachers in implementing systematic instruction that fosters student engagement and deeper understanding. Overall, the developed model contributes to improving instructional quality in Economics education and offers an innovative alternative for enhancing students’ cognitive abilities, particularly in critical thinking.

The purpose of this community service activity is to strengthen the concept of electrolysis for students of SMAN 1 Suwawa through interactive laboratory exercises, as well as to enhance students' understanding and practical skills related to the electrolysis process. The partners involved in this activity include the Principal, Chemistry Teacher, and all 12th-grade students of SMAN 1 Suwawa. The implementation method of the activity involves four main stages: a pre-test to measure initial understanding, providing material to reinforce the concept of electrolysis, conducting interactive laboratory exercises using electroplating tools, and a post-test to measure the improvement in students' understanding. The results of this activity show a significant improvement in the understanding of electrolysis concepts, with an N-Gain value of 76.8%, indicating the effectiveness of this method in improving students' learning outcomes. Based on these findings, it is recommended to continue applying interactive laboratory approaches in science education in secondary schools, as well as utilizing technology and interactive modules to support students' understanding of complex chemical concepts. Additionally, teacher training is also important to ensure the sustainability of effective laboratory-based learning.

By using a microphone, their voices are more audible, articulation is clearer, and they can better control the forum. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method, employing an exploratory approach with Likert scale questionnaires and open-ended questionnaires, as well as documentation of responses through the Mentimeter application. The data recorded came from 55 participants out of a population of 104, distributed across three classes: 9A, 9B, and 9C. The results indicate that the microphone can enhance confidence in learning Indonesian, as evidenced by responses: Strongly Disagree 0.4%, Disagree 5.3%, Neutral 39%, Agree 41%, and Strongly Agree 14%. The open-ended questionnaire responses aligned with the students' progress in learning Indonesian. This research aims to identify and analyze the essential instructional tools needed in gas turbine learning for cadets of the Naval Academy's engineering corps using a mixed-method approach with an explanatory sequential design involving 160 respondents, consisting of 120 engineering corps cadets, 15 instructors, and 25 field engineering officers. The research results identified 28 types of gas turbine instructional tools categorized into four groups, with simulators and software showing the highest level of importance (4.65/5.0), and there were significant differences in the perception of importance levels among the three groups of respondents (F(2,157) = 12.45, p < 0.001). The AHP analysis produced a priority framework in four levels, with Level 1 encompassing 5 essential instructional tools: gas turbine simulator (0.742), gas turbine cut-section model (0.698), control system trainer kit (0.681), interactive learning video (0.673), and troubleshooting simulator (0.667). Regression analysis showed that instructional tools significantly contribute to learning effectiveness (R² = 0.742), with the gas turbine simulator as the main predictor (β = 0.384), positively impacting the cognitive aspect with a 26.8% increase in concept understanding (effect size 1.24), the affective aspect with an increase in learning motivation and career interest from 67% to 84%, and the psychomotor aspect with a 33.7% increase in hands-on skills and a 28.5% reduction in troubleshooting time. The resulting priority framework provides strategic guidance for optimizing resources and gradually developing gas turbine learning capabilities in military educational institutions, despite facing major obstacles such as budget constraints, technology compatibility, lack of quality human resources, and limited laboratory infrastructure.

This research aims to determine the impact of Project Based Learning (MBKM) on Problem Solving for Undergraduate Students in Educational Technology at Bina Mandiri University, Gorontalo. The research method used is a qualitative and quantitative approach at four research stages. According to Creswel and Clark, mixed methods research is a research design with philosophical assumptions as well as being an inquiry method. As a methodology, this mixed research involves philosophical assumptions that guide the direction of data collection and analysis, as well as cultivating qualitative and quantitative research approaches throughout many phases of the research process. This research is in the first stage, namely identifying problem solving for Bachelor of Educational Technology students and measuring the effectiveness of MBKM project-based learning at UBMG. The results of the research show that project-based learning (MBKM) can influence Problem Solving for students in the Bachelor of Educational Technology study program at Bina Mandiri University, Gorontalo. This can be seen from the achievement of the problem solving method indicator for the Educational Technology S1 PRODI students, which was initially 75%, increasing to 87% after participating in project-based learning (MBKM) for one semester. The conclusion of this research is that project-based learning (MBKM) has a positive impact on improving problem solving skills in undergraduate students in educational technology so that it can be applied to subsequent learning processes.

Jombok Village is one of the villages that receives assistance from the Family Hope Program in Ngoro District, Jombang Regency, with a total of 245 families distributed every two months based on predetermined criteria. The majority of people's work is as farmers and traders because it suits the skills of the local community. Livelihood conditions with an uncertain amount of income each month make it difficult to fulfill daily living needs. So children prefer to work to help the family economy rather than continue higher education. With the help of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in the education sector, it is hoped that it will be able to increase the educational participation rate of poor children and this assistance is also expected to be able to reduce the burden on household expenses. These limitations make it more difficult for them to find better and more stable jobs, leading to dependence on social assistance. The aims of this research are (1) to determine the influence of the income level of the head of the family on the educational level of children receiving the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Jombok Village, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency, (2) to determine the influence of the Family Hope Program on the educational level of children receiving the Family Hope Program (PKH). ) in Jombok Village, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and documentation. The location of this research is Jombok Village, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency. The subjects in this research were recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH) assistance who had dependent high school children. The data processing used in this research is validity testing, reliability testing, and classical assumption testing. The data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results of this research show that (1) The income level of the head of the family has a positive and significant effect on the education level of children receiving PKH in Jombok Village, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency, which can be proven by obtaining a value of t count > t table (3,265 > 1,666) and a significance value smaller than 5 % (0.002 < 0.05) (2) The Family Hope Program has a positive and significant effect on the education level of children receiving PKH in Jombok Village, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency which can be proven by obtaining a value of t count > t table (2.088 > 1.666) and a significance value of less than 5 % (0.041 < 0.05).
