This study aims to analyze the effect of unemployment rate and health on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Lampung. This study uses a quantitative method with multiple regression analysis to test the effect of independent variables (unemployment rate and health) on the dependent variable (HDI). The results of the study indicate that the unemployment rate has a significant positive effect on the HDI, where an increase in unemployment has the potential to increase the HDI figure. On the other hand, the health variable does not show a significant effect on the HDI, indicating that although the health program is running, other factors such as the economy and education are more dominant in determining the HDI. Simultaneously, unemployment and health contribute to changes in the HDI, but the dominance of unemployment appears stronger.

The research model consists of four latent variables, each of which is measured by three reflective indicators. The data analysis technique uses the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the help of SmartPLS software, and is supported by descriptive analysis using SPSS. Validity and reliability tests are carried out through outer loading tests, Average Variance Extracted (AVE), Cronbach's Alpha, and Composite Reliability. Hypothesis testing is carried out by considering the path coefficient, t-statistic, and p-value values. The results of the study indicate that Assistance Services and Transaction Security have a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. Assistance Services also have a direct effect on Emotional Experience, while Transaction Security does not have a direct effect on this variable. This study investigates the influence of Provincial Minimum Wage (PMW), Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR), and Population Growth Rate (PGR) on Employment Opportunities (EO) across 20 most populous provinces in Indonesia from 2017 to 2024. Using a quantitative approach and panel data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency, the analysis applies the Fixed Effect Model selected through Chow and Hausman tests. The Outcomes indicate that PMW has a significant negative effect on EO, implying that wage increases without corresponding productivity growth can reduce job absorption. Conversely, LFPR has a significant positive effect, reflecting that a higher labor force engagement boosts employment. PGR has a negative but statistically insignificant effect. The F-test confirms that all three variables jointly influence EO. These results highlight the need to harmonize wage regulations, human capital development (HDI), and population planning to support inclusive and sustainable employment in regions experiencing high demographic pressures.

The increasing needs of life encourage people to seek funds from various sources, including those that are not in accordance with sharia principles such as interest and loan shark practices. In facing this challenge, Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) emerged as a sharia-based microfinance alternative that rejects the element of usury and emphasizes justice and blessings. The purpose of this study is to examine the application of sharia principles in financing activities at BMT, as well as analyze the challenges and opportunities for development, especially in Padangsidimpuan City. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach by conducting literature studies and case studies at BMT Insani. The findings of the research show that BMT has implemented sharia contracts such as murabahah and mudharabah in its financing activities. However, there are still some obstacles such as competition from conventional financial institutions, limited human resources, and low financial literacy among the community. Nevertheless, BMTs have significant opportunities to grow through increased education, product innovation, and strengthening of institutional structures.

This study aims to explore consumer perceptions regarding transaction security on digital marketplaces and to evaluate the impact of community-based educational interventions. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, involving in-depth interviews with ten active marketplace users in Tasikmalaya City. The findings revealed that consumers’ sense of security is shaped by personal experience, understanding of platform security features, and digital literacy. Prior to the intervention, most participants expressed high concern over data breaches and fraud, often opting for cash-on-delivery (COD) as a form of protection. Following a series of community education sessions—comprised of discussions and safe transaction simulations—significant changes were observed in consumer attitudes and behavior. Participants became more aware of the importance of verifying sellers, reading reviews, and using secure payment methods. The study concludes that localized community education effectively enhances awareness and trust among consumers, especially in areas where digital literacy remains limited.

Sexual harassment cases in university environments have become a serious issue that not only harms victims physically and psychologically but also undermines academic and humanitarian values. This article aims to analyze the implementation of legal aid services in addressing criminal acts of sexual harassment within higher education institutions, particularly in terms of victim protection, legal assistance, and the restoration of victims’ rights. This study employs an empirical or socio-legal approach by examining existing legal regulations and the practical implementation of legal services by campus-based legal aid institutions. The findings reveal that although several universities have established task forces or sexual violence service units, their implementation still faces challenges such as limited resources, low legal awareness, and a prevailing culture of silence among students. Therefore, institutional strengthening, continuous awareness campaigns, and victim-centered campus policies are necessary to ensure comprehensive access to justice. Legal aid services must not only be reactive but also preventive and educational, as part of a broader effort to create a safe and violence-free academic environment.

This article aims to examine the legal procedures available to victims or their families in obtaining restoration rights. The discussion includes criminal law aspects such as restitution and compensation based on Law No. 13 of 2006 jo. Law No. 31 of 2014 on Witness and Victim Protection, as well as the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP). Additionally, this article highlights the civil law route through lawsuits based on Article 1365 of the Civil Code regarding unlawful acts (KUHAPER). With a normative juridical approach and internship experience at the Legal Consultation and Assistance Clinic of Trunojoyo Madura University, this article is expected to contribute to strengthening victims' rights within the Indonesian legal system through the available legal avenues, both criminal and civil.

Judicial sentencing through court judgments often does not align with the ideal objectives of sentencing itself, especially in cases involving corruption crimes. Judgment Number 26/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/Pn Amb serves as an example of the disparity between the prosecutor's sentence recommendation and the final verdict delivered by the judge. In this case, the prosecutor demanded a seven-year prison sentence, while the judge sentenced the defendant to only two years and six months, with the mitigating consideration that the defendant did not personally benefit from the state's financial loss. Therefore, the writer conducts an analytical review of this judgment through a criminological perspective and judicial reasoning. The analysis of Judgment Number 26/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/Pn Amb is intended to assess how well the judgment fulfills the ideal function of law.
