This research is a literature review that examines various literature on the implications of transformational and transactional leadership. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of transformational and transactional leadership for Islamic educational institutions, as well as the similarities and differences in transformational and transactional leadership behaviors. The method used in this study is library research, using a qualitative approach with a rational approach method. The findings of this study show that transformational and transactional leadership have implications for each individual's commitment to organizational values and goals. Transformational leadership builds long-term relationships, while transactional leadership builds short-term relationships with subordinates based on shared goals and rewards are given when subordinates are able to achieve goals. Instead, sanctions are given if the objectives cannot be achieved. Creative and innovative behavior is not the main thing, but the status quo is considered important. Islamic education leaders can combine these two models to create a balance between innovation and achievement of results.

The social construction of celebrities in the world of politics has become a phenomenon that attracts attention, especially in relation to educational empowerment and media influence. Celebrity-driven voter campaigns often elicit positive responses from younger audiences, who may previously be less interested in political issues. Thus, collaboration between education and media not only increases political awareness but also encourages active community involvement. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach, analyzing previous research to understand the role of celebrities in influencing involvement in the realm of political society. The research results show that celebrities play an important role in increasing people's political awareness. Education contributes to the political understanding of celebrities, who often use their platforms to spread information about political issues. File systems are key operating system components because they store and retrieve files as needed. Traditional hierarchical file systems no longer suit current users’ expectations in organizing extensive collections of files for easy retrieval based on intrinsic and user-defined properties. The number of files in users’ collections is growing substantially, partly because of the ease with which consumer devices capture information. With the enormous capacity of contemporary storage devices and the rising trend of users storing their data in the cloud, they only fuel the number of files needing to be managed. We suggest that current file systems require an enhanced technique of data organization and access so that users can properly handle these ever-increasing data collections. File systems are key operating system components because they store and retrieve files as needed. This study offers improvements to the conventional Hierarchical File System to improve file organization and retrieval through built-in querying capabilities and support filesystem-level operations that execute significant amounts of metadata updates. This is accomplished using attributes (name-value pairs) in a file collection hierarchy. A series of improvements to the HFS introduce the “AttFS” file system. These improvements include using attributes rather than names, logical collections rather than directories, and introducing a query language to the API. We assess the expressive capacity of the resulting model, demonstrate that it solves the relevant shortcomings of traditional file systems in this space, and compare our new approach to those provided by others and our earlier work. We conclude that attributes are better suited than tags to overcome traditional HFS shortcomings.

Indonesia and Thailand, both Southeast Asian countries with high levels of cigarette consumption, have implemented health warning images on cigarette packs as a strategy to reduce smoking prevalence. This study aims to analyze and compare the effectiveness of these warning images in creating a deterrent and fear effect on smokers in both countries. Using Roland Barthes' semiotic method, this study focuses on visual elements such as image, size, and text message. The findings show that in Indonesia, images of lung cancer victims with scary textual warnings are pasted on the packaging, whereas in Thailand, the images used are more varied and larger in size, creating a stronger visual impact. Data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health and Thailand's Global Action to End Smoking revealed that there will be 70 million smokers in Indonesia by 2024 and 11.5 million in Thailand by 2022. The comparative results suggest that the larger and more varied health warnings in Thailand may be more effective in attracting attention and triggering emotional responses compared to the more homogenous approach in Indonesia. In conclusion, the results of this study suggest that effective visual warnings can influence smokers' awareness and behavior, providing important insights for the development of more dynamic public health policies tailored to each country's cultural context in tobacco control efforts.

The maritime industry is facing a critical shift toward sustainability, particularly through the green shipping transition. This research was conducted to explore how maritime vocational programs are developing leadership competencies necessary to manage sustainable maritime practices. Previous studies have largely focused on technical skills, with limited attention to leadership development in the context of sustainability. This research aims to fill this gap by addressing the preparedness of maritime education in cultivating leaders who can drive the green transition. The study sought to answer key questions about how leadership competencies are integrated into vocational training and the extent to which sustainability is incorporated into maritime curricula. The analysis utilized a combination of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and qualitative interviews with 10 maritime professionals, lecturers, and graduates. The SLR identified key competencies and frameworks in sustainable leadership, while the interviews provided insights into the current state of maritime education. The results indicate that while sustainability is increasingly recognized, there are gaps in leadership training, practical exposure to green technologies, and industry collaboration. The findings suggest that maritime vocational programs must adopt a more integrated approach to leadership development and sustainability. By embedding sustainability across curricula and providing hands-on learning opportunities, educational institutions can better prepare future maritime leaders. This research contributes to improving maritime education by addressing the intersection of leadership and sustainability.

Disputes usually occur due to differences in ideas, beliefs, values, needs, and goals, until finally people with different backgrounds cannot work together and cannot avoid disputes. Litigation is the most traditional dispute resolution which is a process in court using applicable law. Alternative Dispute Resolution is a concept of dispute resolution outside the court that prioritizes a win-win solution which is now integrated into the adjudication process as part of CDR or CADR. With a normative research method, which is sourced from secondary legal data, with primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials, using qualitative data analysis methods by interpreting and describing questions contained in documents and laws and regulations. The results of this study indicate that the traditional dispute resolution method is a slow, protracted, and relatively expensive dispute resolution process, while the digital dispute resolution method in an approach to optimizing ADR has advantages in economic factors, scope factors and good relationship building factors.

This study aims to examine in depth the views of Afrizal Nur in his book Tafsir Al-Mishbâh̲ in Sorotan which assesses that M. Quraish Shihab has a strong affiliation with the Shia school. The author uses the theory of hermeneutics of objectivity, where the interpretation of the text is understood based on the author's intent, not the subjective conclusions of the interpreter. The findings of this study indicate that although M. Quraish Shihab cites Shia sources of interpretation, he remains objective in processing the references. The analysis proves that some of M. Quraish Shihab's views in Tafsir Al-Mishbâh̲ often contradict Shia figures, such as Thabathaba'i in Tafsir al-Mîzân. This study also discusses the main issues highlighted by Afrizal Nur, including the glorification of Fatimah R.A., the successor of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, to the concepts of Ahl al-Bait, ismah, and taqiyyah. With the maudhû’i interpretation model and qualitative approach, this study successfully explains that Afrizal Nur’s view is not entirely objective in assessing the Tafsir Al-Mishbâh̲. Through concrete examples of verses and themes of interpretation, this study strengthens the argument that M. Quraish Shihab maintains the scientificity of his interpretation without supporting certain sectarian views
