This study investigates Qur’an-based healing practices within the Jakarta Qur’anic Structure Studies Community, focusing on the understanding of the Qur’an as Asy-Syifā’ (a source of healing) and the therapeutic application of Qur’anic verses through the Qur’anic Structure method. Employing a qualitative, descriptive-analytical design within a Living Qur’an and phenomenological framework, data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with three key informants, and questionnaires administered to 23 practitioners. The findings show that the community positions the Qur’anic Structure method as an alternative approach to both physical and spiritual healing by treating the entire Qur’an as a medium of cure. This practice is operationalized through four principal patterns: the ‘Ain Structure, Page Structure, Alphabet Structure, and Surah Structure, all of which refer to the 18-line mushaf published by PT Taj Company (Karachi, Pakistan). Practitioners’ testimonies indicate perceived improvements in physical and psychological conditions, framing this method as a form of Qur’anic self-healing (ikhtiar) while reaffirming that ultimate healing belongs solely to Allah SWT.

This study seeks to examine how the element of state financial loss is applied in corruption cases that originate from private-law relationships, specifically in the context of Micro People’s Business Credit (KUR) financing using the Yarnen Porang scheme, as reflected in Decision Number 41/Pid.Sus.TPK/PN.MTR. The central issue addressed is the manner in which the panel of judges construed and affirmed the existence of a state financial loss that, in substance, arose from a civil act, namely the performance of a financing cooperation agreement between a banking institution and an offtaker. By employing a normative juridical approach and conducting an in-depth analysis of the judicial decision, this research concludes that the alleged state financial loss in the a quo case remains merely prospective in nature and does not satisfy the requirement of an actual and definite loss as mandated by positive law. Furthermore, evidence demonstrating that the financing funds were enjoyed by a third party rather than by the accused indicates a misapplication in attributing criminal liability. Consequently, the criminal prosecution of conduct that is essentially civil in character reflects an expansive interpretation of the state loss element, which is inconsistent with the principle of legality and the doctrine of prudence in the enforcement of corruption laws.

Flower disease detection is a significant challenge in modern agriculture, particularly with factors such as changes in leaf color, petal shape and structure, and environmental conditions affecting the accuracy of conventional models. These factors make it difficult to achieve optimal results using traditional methods. Transfer learning is an effective solution to improve image detection performance, especially when data is limited. This study used several pre-trained models, namely VGG16, ResNet50, and EfficientNet-B0, to detect three types of flower diseases: black spot on roses, white powdery mildew, and leaf rust. The research process included data processing, increasing the data volume using augmentation techniques, model training, and evaluation of the results. Experimental results showed that the EfficientNet-B0 model produced the highest accuracy of 97.2%, significantly better than the CNN model built from scratch with an accuracy of 85.1%. This study demonstrates that transfer learning is highly effective in improving the accuracy of flower disease detection, making it a more reliable alternative to methods that do not utilize pre-trained models, especially for agricultural applications that require high levels of accuracy in disease detection.

Measurement is a fundamental domain of mathematics that connects formal mathematical concepts with everyday experiences. Despite its practical relevance, students often experience persistent difficulties in understanding measurement conceptually, tending to approach it as a procedural activity rather than as a process of reasoning about quantities, units, and comparisons. These challenges indicate that learning measurement is influenced not only by individual cognitive factors but also by the social dynamics that shape classroom learning environments. This study aims to examine classroom social dynamics in learning measurement by providing empirical evidence from contextual learning situations. This study employed a qualitative research approach to explore how social interaction, scaffolding, and participation mediate students’ understanding of measurement in contextual learning environments. Data were collected through classroom observations, video recordings of learning activities, analysis of students’ written work, and interviews with selected students and the teacher. Contextual measurement tasks were designed to encourage collaboration, dialogue, and justification, enabling the examination of student–student and teacher–student interactions as they naturally occurred in the classroom. Data analysis was conducted iteratively to identify patterns of interaction, forms of scaffolding, and students’ learning progression within the Zone of Proximal Development. The findings reveal that students initially engaged with measurement tasks in a predominantly procedural manner, with limited conceptual understanding and minimal peer interaction. After the implementation of contextual learning situations, classroom social dynamics changed substantially. Students became more actively involved in discussion, collaborative problem-solving, and collective meaning-making. Peer interaction supported the articulation and refinement of students’ reasoning, while teacher scaffolding guided learning by extending students’ thinking without providing direct solutions. These social processes facilitated students’ movement from their actual level of understanding toward higher levels of conceptual competence within the Zone of Proximal Development. The study further shows that contextual learning tasks alone are insufficient to promote meaningful understanding unless they are supported by productive social interaction and adaptive scaffolding. Conceptual understanding of measurement emerged through socially mediated processes rather than through task completion alone. This study contributes to mathematics education research by emphasizing the central role of classroom social dynamics in contextual learning and by offering insights into how interaction and scaffolding can be orchestrated to support students’ conceptual understanding of measurement.

General education at Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKI) plays an important role in developing students’ critical thinking skills so they can analyze religious and social issues reflectively and contextually. However, learning practices in PTKI are still dominated by teacher-centered approaches and low cognitive achievement, which limits the development of analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Meanwhile, studies show that integrating digital media, particularly video, can improve conceptual understanding, motivation, and cognitive engagement, yet a digital video-based meaningful learning model specifically designed for the PTKI context remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to formulate a Digital Video-Based Meaningful Learning Model (MPBBVD) to enhance students’ critical thinking skills. This research employed a literature review method by analyzing books, scientific articles, research reports, and digital sources related to meaningful learning, constructivism, multimedia learning, digital video use, and critical thinking development. Data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively to identify the theoretical foundations, learning syntax, and design principles of the model. The findings indicate that MPBBVD integrates Ausubel’s Meaningful Learning theory, constructivist perspectives from Piaget, Vygotsky, and Bruner, Mayer’s Multimedia Learning theory, and the critical thinking framework of Facione and Ennis. The model uses digital video as the main learning medium and applies the ACTIVE stages (Attend, Connect, Think, Interpret, Verify, Evaluate) to promote contextual and interactive learning. Integrating pre-, during-, and post-video activities supports knowledge construction, reduces cognitive load, and increases student engagement, contributing theoretically and practically to improving critical thinking in PTKI in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era.

This study discusses the introduction of digital signature patterns using the Backpropagation method on Artificial Neural Network (JST) to identify a person's characteristics and potential. The increasing use of digital identities demands a verification system that is more secure, accurate, and adaptive to the variations of each individual's signature. The main problem faced in the signature recognition system is the low level of accuracy when the visual features of the signature have similarities between users, both in terms of shape, size, and stroke pressure. In addition, variations of signatures made by the same individual are also a challenge in the identification process. As a solution, this study implements Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to extract important features from the signature image before the training process using JST. PCA is used to reduce the data dimension so that the learning process becomes more efficient and optimal. A total of 80 signature images were used in this study, consisting of 60 training data and 20 test data. The results showed that the system was able to achieve an accuracy level of 92.5%. These findings prove that the combination of PCA and JST methods is effective in recognizing digital signature patterns and has the potential to be applied to digital security-based biometric identification systems.

This article explores the concept of a “House of Faith” as a holistic educational framework designed to build students’ character based on religious values. The fundamental idea of the House of Faith is likened to a school environment that provides a comfortable and safe space for students to develop their faith and noble character through learning activities connected to religious teachings. A religious school environment is created through everyday atmospheres that encourage the practice of worship, the presence of religious symbols, and community activities that strengthen students’ spirituality. Programs to reinforce religious spirit include activities such as communal prayers, religious studies, and social projects designed to gradually enhance students’ spiritual awareness. Teachers and educational staff play a highly effective role, acting as role models and facilitators in the learning process. Their approach to instilling faith and moral values involves interactive methods such as group discussions, inspirational stories, and personal reflection, all adapted to students’ developmental stages. Collaboration between the school and parents becomes a key factor in ensuring consistent support. This is carried out through regular meetings, joint workshops, and open communication that reinforces family values. The impact of religious spirit on students can be seen in increased discipline, social empathy, emotional resilience, and stronger academic motivation. However, implementation faces challenges such as limited curriculum time, diversity of student backgrounds, and cultural resistance. These challenges are addressed through solutions, including regular teacher training, program evaluation, and the integration of technology for distance learning. Overall, the article emphasizes that a school functioning as a House of Faith can shape young generations who are not only intellectually capable but also strong in faith and morals, contributing to a more harmonious and meaningful society.

The development of e-commerce and social commerce has driven significant changes in student shopping behaviour, including at FEB UNDARIS. Ease of access, digital promotions, and the influence of social media have led students to shop online more frequently, even impulsively. This study aims to analyse how attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioural control interact in shaping students' online shopping behaviour using the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) framework. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with in-depth interviews with ten students who actively shop online. The data were analysed to understand the experiences, perceptions, and social factors that influence their decisions in digital transactions. The results show that positive attitudes towards efficiency and promotions, social pressure from friends and influencers, and high perceived behavioural control due to technological convenience work simultaneously to reinforce online shopping intentions and actions. These three TPB components support each other and trigger increasingly impulsive consumption patterns in the digital environment.

This study examines the Sufistic dimension in the syafahî interpretation of Habib Muhammad Luthfi bin Yahya regarding the verses of nationality in the Qur’an. Habib Luthfi was chosen as the object because he is a Sufi scholar as well as a national figure who consistently conveys Qur’anic interpretation through oral media, and his ideas demonstrate a combination of Sufi spirituality and nationalism. This study employs a qualitative method with primary data sources in the form of recorded lectures, religious gatherings, and direct interviews, as well as secondary data consisting of scientific literature related to tafsir, Sufism, and nationality. The analysis is carried out through a descriptive-analytical-comparative approach by paying attention to the methodology of tafsir and its Sufistic context. The results of the study indicate that the syafahî interpretation of Habib Luthfi is characterized as Sufistic-thematic with an approach of tafsir bi al-isyâri and bi al-ra’yi al-maqbûl which still rests on the framework of tafsir bi al-ma’tsûr. His interpretation of six verses of nationality emphasizes the value of love for the homeland, obedience to leaders, jihad in social-moral dimensions, the unity of the ummah, collective gratitude in national development, and respect for diversity as part of sunnatullah. Thus, this study affirms that Sufism can function as an ethical foundation of nationality as well as a model of Qur’anic interpretation that is relevant to contemporary Indonesian reality.
