This study aims to analyze the relationship between the number of industrial companies, both large-medium and micro-small, with labor absorption in Sidoarjo Regency during the period 2020 to 2023. Sidoarjo Regency, which has a rapidly growing industrial sector, is the location of the study with a focus on the contribution of the industrial sector to reducing unemployment and improving community welfare. The results of the study show that the number of large-medium industrial companies has a significant effect on labor absorption, especially in sectors that require skilled labor. Meanwhile, micro-small industries tend to absorb lower-skilled labor, with most of them in the informal sector. Although there has been an increase in the number of industries, its impact on labor absorption is not always comparable, this is influenced by external factors such as government policies, technological developments, and the quality of the available workforce. Labor absorption also differs by age group, with younger age groups being absorbed more in micro-small industries and older age groups being absorbed more in large-medium industries. This study also shows that sub-districts with better infrastructure have higher labor absorption rates. The suggestion from this research is to improve policies that support equitable industrial development, as well as strengthen skills training programs according to industry needs to increase labor absorption.

This study uses qualitative methods to analyze the law on menstrual leave and maternity leave rights in the practice of the workplace in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the implementation of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower which provides menstrual leave and maternity leave rights for female workers, and examines the obstacles faced in its implementation in various companies. The results of the study indicate that although the legal framework has clearly regulated these rights, their implementation in the field is still not optimal. The main obstacles found include the lack of understanding and awareness of workers and employers, weak government supervision, and the existence of cultural stigma and discrimination related to menstruation and pregnancy. In addition, several companies still implement policies that are not in accordance with regulations, such as salary deductions or restrictions on leave rights. This study recommends increasing the socialization of regulations, strengthening supervision, and enforcing strict sanctions so that legal protection for menstrual leave and maternity leave rights can be realized fairly and effectively, thereby supporting social justice and the protection of female workers in Indonesia.

Effectiveness is a fundamental component that functions to achieve the goals and objectives that have been set in an organization or program. BPJS organizes the Work Accident Insurance (JKK) program to provide protection and a sense of security to workers against the risk of work accidents in the form of financial support. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, field observations, and documentation reviews. The data analysis process includes the stages of data reduction, information presentation, and drawing conclusions. To ensure the validity of the data, this study uses a triangulation method that includes source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The findings of this study indicate that in general the implementation of the work accident insurance program at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has been carried out effectively, in accordance with the three main indicators of effectiveness used as references in this study. However, in the indicator of achieving program objectives, there are still several targets that have not been fully realized. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Work Accident Insurance program at the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cilandak Branch Office, South Jakarta, has shown good effectiveness, although there is still room for improvement, especially in terms of achieving program objectives as a whole.

This study uses a qualitative method to examine legal protection for female workers who experience discrimination in employment relationships. Discrimination against women in the workplace remains prevalent, taking forms such as unequal pay, limited opportunities for promotion, and sexual harassment, all of which affect their safety and comfort at work. Legal protection for female workers is regulated by various laws, including the Manpower Act, the Human Rights Act, and ILO conventions ratified by Indonesia. However, the implementation of these protections is often ineffective due to weak law enforcement, limited awareness among female workers regarding their rights, and the persistence of patriarchal culture. This study aims to analyze the extent to which legal regulations and their implementation function effectively, as well as the obstacles female workers face in claiming their rights. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, literature review, and document analysis. The findings indicate the need to strengthen labor inspection institutions and provide legal education for female workers to achieve justice in employment relationships.

Employee transfers are common in companies, but regulations regarding transfer provisions are still very minimal. The absence of specific provisions governing transfers is often misused by employers, resulting in industrial relations disputes, one of which occurred between PT. Amartha Manunggal Prima and Khairunnisa Utami. This study aims to analyze the validity of the transfer process carried out by the company if there are no provisions or legal basis underlying the transfer process. This study uses a normative legal method, by analyzing the conformity between the considerations of the Panel of Judges in Decision Number 24/Pdt.Sus-PHI/PN JMB with laws and regulations, especially Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Ratification of the Job Creation. Based on the results of the analysis, a transfer process is one of the company's rights to regulate human resources for the interests and progress of the company and in general transfers are regulated in work agreements, joint work agreements, or company regulations. If the mutation process is not regulated, then the mutation must be based on an agreement between the two parties as mentioned in the Supreme Court Decision Number 567 K/Pdt.Sus-PHI/2016 which stipulates that mutations without the consent of workers can be canceled through the industrial relations court. In addition, mutations must not conflict with existing laws and regulations, especially Article 32 of the Manpower Law which regulates the placement of workers,
