Volleyball underhand passing training is a process of coaching and developing volleyball players' skills through physical, technical, tactical, and mental exercises to improve performance in the game. This training can be conducted at various levels, from beginners to professionals, and covers several important aspects that support the improvement of basic skills. One of the basic techniques that must be mastered by players, especially in adolescence, is the underhand pass. This technique is the main foundation for controlling the ball and maintaining the continuity of the game. However, based on the results of initial observations on Ahmad Yani High School students, it was found that students' underhand passing ability is still relatively low. As many as 85% of students scored below average, indicating that they have difficulty mastering this basic technique. This problem presents a challenge in physical education learning, especially in volleyball. One contributing factor is the lack of variety and creativity in the teaching methods used by teachers, resulting in a lack of student motivation. This study aims to apply the VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) method in volleyball underhand passing training. The VAK method is a learning approach that combines three main learning styles: visual (sight), auditory (hearing), and kinesthetic (movement). This approach is believed to help students understand techniques more comprehensively, tailored to their individual learning styles. Integrating the VAK method into the training process is expected to significantly improve student learning outcomes, particularly in mastering volleyball underhand passing techniques. This research also aims to provide alternative, more innovative and effective learning strategies for physical education teachers in schools.

This community service activity was carried out as an effort to improve the effectiveness of reporting and withholding of Income Tax (PPh) Article 21 at the Kosayu Credit Cooperative through accounting-based technical assistance. The main problem identified during the Field Work Practice (PKL) activity was the potential for tax overpayments caused by inaccurate estimates of employee annual income and limitations of the payroll system used by the cooperative. To address these problems, the implementation team implemented several methods, namely direct observation of the tax administration process, technical training for related staff, tax calculation simulations based on actual data, and evaluation of the existing tax recording and reporting system. The results of the activity showed that although the cooperative had used the Average Effective Rate (TER) method for withholding PPh 21, its implementation was still not optimal because it was not supported by an integrated information system and a regularly updated employee database. This resulted in inaccuracies in tax calculations and withholding. Therefore, this assistance recommended several improvements, including updating the payroll system, improving employee data, integrating the digital tax reporting system, and increasing the capacity of the cooperative's human resources through ongoing training related to tax regulations. In addition to having a direct impact on the efficiency of cooperative tax management, this program also provides contextual learning benefits for students in linking tax accounting theory with real conditions in the field.

Educational supervision serves as a key instrument in improving educational quality; however, its implementation in elementary schools often faces systemic challenges that affect teacher performance and learning quality. This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational supervision by school principals to improve the performance of Catholic Religious Education (CRE) teachers in enhancing educational quality at Inpres Natarita Elementary School. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with the school principal and CRE teacher as research subjects. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal significant disparities between the implementation of administrative supervision and academic supervision. Administrative supervision is consistently implemented but remains procedural-mechanistic in nature, while academic supervision experiences systematic deficits with minimal frequency (once per semester). This condition impacts the competence-performance gap phenomenon in CRE teacher performance, characterized by the dominance of lecture methods, limited learning innovation, and minimal professional initiative. Educational quality shows acceptable achievement in graduation rates but has not been optimal in potential realization and educational value-added.Educational supervision at SDI Natarita has not achieved optimal effectiveness due to a paradigm that remains compliance-oriented rather than development-oriented. A fundamental reorientation toward holistic and transformative supervision is needed to optimize teacher performance and educational quality.

The purpose of this article is to describe the perceptions of physical education teachers and class teachers towards the role of physical education in improving the emotional well-being of elementary school students. The main focus of the discussion is how PJOK lessons not only have an impact on physical development, but also support students' emotional growth, self-confidence, discipline, and social interaction. The methods used in this paper are observation and descriptive qualitative interviews with three resource persons, namely two physical education teachers, one class teacher at SDN 5 Imbanagara Raya. Data was collected through direct question and answer sessions that explore their experiences and views in observing changes in student behavior through PJOK activities. Based on the results of the interview, it was found that PJOK has an important role as a medium for student expression, especially for those who tend to be quiet or lack confidence. Physical activities and team games help students in forming self-confidence, discipline, and cooperation skills. In addition, collaboration between class teachers and physical education teachers is also an important key in adjusting teaching approaches that are responsive to students' emotional conditions. Thus, physical education contributes significantly to creating a learning environment that supports students' mental and emotional health.

Microteaching is an essential component in preparing students of the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program to become competent professional educators. This study aims to analyze effective strategies for mastering teaching materials during microteaching courses for PGSD students. Optimal mastery of subject matter requires not only a deep understanding of content but also the ability to adapt to the characteristics of primary school students, the use of varied teaching methods, and effective communication skills. This study employs a literature review methodology and analyzes best practices from various educational institutions. The results indicate that strategies for mastering teaching materials in microteaching involve five key dimensions: systematic material preparation through curriculum analysis and in-depth literature study; material organization using a logically structured approach; material presentation with diverse learning models and appropriate media; continuous evaluation using assessment for learning techniques; and self-development through continuous learning and consistent practice. The implementation of this integrated strategy has been proven to increase student confidence, improve the quality of material delivery, and optimize teaching readiness in primary school settings. These findings offer significant contributions to the development of PGSD curricula and the enhancement of the quality of future primary school teachers in Indonesia.

This paper discusses the role of Arabic in improving speaking skills, especially in the context of daily life. Arabic, which is recognized as the language of revelation in the Qur'an and Hadith, has learning objectives that include understanding Islamic teachings, mastering vocabulary, and effective communication skills. Arabic learning does not only focus on linguistic aspects, but also includes understanding the cultural and social norms that exist in Arab society. The scope of the role of everyday Arabic includes mastering basic vocabulary, improving practical communication skills, understanding simple grammatical structures, and adapting to dialects and cultural contexts. The benefits of learning Arabic are significant, including an understanding of religious teachings, increased educational and career opportunities, and the ability to establish cross-cultural social relationships. Effective learning methods, such as direct, grammatical-translational, and eclectic methods, are proposed to overcome the challenges faced in learning Arabic, such as the complexity of grammatical structures and the lack of exposure in Arabic-speaking environments. With the right strategy, Arabic language learning is expected to form individuals who are not only academically intelligent, but also have high integrity and religious awareness.

This study aims to analyze the ability of students in the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program to develop Lesson Plans (RPP) and implement teaching through microteaching activities. The RPP serves as a crucial tool for prospective teachers in designing a systematic and measurable learning process, while microteaching functions as an effective teaching practice medium to develop students’ pedagogical skills. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and interviews with final-year PGSD students enrolled in the microteaching course. The findings reveal that most students were able to develop lesson plans in accordance with the applicable curriculum formats (K13 and Merdeka Curriculum), including formulating learning objectives and outlining the sequence of learning activities. However, weaknesses were still found in formulating learning indicators, selecting appropriate models and methods, and integrating literacy, numeracy, and the elements of the Pancasila Student Profile. In implementing microteaching, students demonstrated mastery of the material and conducted learning activities in a structured manner. Nonetheless, some still faced challenges in classroom management, interactive communication, and the use of media and educational technology. The conclusion of this study indicates that PGSD students’ abilities in preparing lesson plans and conducting microteaching are in the “fairly good” category. However, they still require further guidance and training to be fully prepared as professional educators in the field. It is expected that through continuous evaluation and constructive feedback from lecturers, students can improve the quality of their lesson planning and teaching practices more optimally.

This research aims to build an integrated Guidance and Counseling (BK) service model, which combines mediation, consultation and advocacy methods, supported by additional BK activities to improve the quality of education in schools. So far, BK services have largely focused on individual approaches without any integration of strategic functions that can strengthen the entire education ecosystem. The model created in this study is aimed at strengthening the role of guidance and counseling teachers in handling student dynamics and building collaboration with the school, parents and the community. The research methodology uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach which includes needs analysis steps, model design, validation by experts, and limited trials in a secondary school environment. Research findings show that this integrated guidance and counseling service model is feasible to implement and effective in increasing the involvement of all parties in solving student problems and creating a school atmosphere that is more supportive of improving the quality of learning. The impact of this model opens up opportunities to increase the strategic role of guidance and counseling services in the education system as a whole.

The purpose of this research is to promote the active engagement of fourth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 4 Muaro Jambi in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning by using the discussion approach. The key issue addressed in this research is a low degree of student participation, as shown by their lack of bravery to ask and answer questions, as well as restricted contact throughout the learning process. This research adopts a Classroom Action Research (PTK) technique based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, with two cycles of preparation, action, observation, and reflection phases. The study included 27 pupils from Class IV A. Data collecting methods included observations, interviews, testing, and documentation. The study findings revealed a considerable increase in learning activities. In the first cycle, average student engagement varied between 52% and 56%, whereas in the second cycle, it jumped dramatically to 81% to 89%. This enhancement also had an influence on learning outcomes, as the class average score increased from 67 to 71, and the classical completion rate increased from 63% to 89%, surpassing the minimal criterion stipulated by the Learning Objective Completion Criteria (KKTP). As a result, it is possible to infer that using good conversation approaches improves student engagement and learning results in IPAS learning.
