Religious gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation that uses religious authority and teachings to question or doubt a person's perceptions, emotions, and experiences, so that the victim feels guilty or unfaithful. In the context of the Muslim community, this practice can occur when religious understanding is used narrowly and authoritarianly, suppressing freedom of thought, and perpetuating power imbalances—both in family relationships, communities, and religious institutions. This article examines the phenomenon of religious gaslighting from the perspective of critical Islamic education, with the aim of dismantling manipulative patterns wrapped in religious narratives. The approach used is qualitative-descriptive with literature analysis of classical and contemporary Islamic sources, as well as interdisciplinary studies in the fields of religious psychology and educational philosophy. The results of the study show that religious gaslighting is not only a matter of individual morals, but also part of an authoritarian social and cultural structure that needs to be countered through liberating (ta'dib) and transformative Islamic education. Islamic education based on the values of justice (al-‘adl), compassion (rahmah), and deliberation can be a critical tool for building a healthy spiritual awareness and freeing people from the shackles of manipulative authority. Thus, education has a central role in forming a generation of Muslims who are able to distinguish between the authenticity of Islamic teachings and their misuse in the practice of power.

The urgency of consumer protection in Sharia-compliant transactions has become increasingly prominent alongside the growth of the halal industry and rising public awareness of transactional justice based on Islamic principles. This study aims to formulate the theoretical and normative construction of consumer protection within the framework of Islamic law and to assess its compatibility with Indonesia’s positive legal system. Employing a normative juridical approach combined with a descriptive-analytical method, this research explores primary legal sources including Qur’anic verses, the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and scholarly opinions found in classical and contemporary fiqh al-mu‘āmalāt literature, as well as secondary legal sources such as Law Number 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection, fatwas of the National Sharia Council (DSN-MUI), and relevant academic literature. The analysis is conducted through content analysis to extract the values of justice, transparency, and balance of rights and obligations within contractual mechanisms. This study finds that core principles such as truthfulness (ṣidq), disclosure (bayān), and justice (‘adālah) constitute the essential foundation of consumer protection in the Islamic legal perspective. The prohibition of gharar (uncertainty), riba (usury), and tadlīs (fraudulent misrepresentation) is not merely a moral injunction but an integral safeguard mechanism for consumer rights. Furthermore, the institutional presence of supervisory bodies such as DSN-MUI and Sharia certification mechanisms has proven to be strategic, though they continue to face challenges in implementation, socialization, and consumer literacy. The findings also indicate a substantial opportunity for harmonizing Islamic legal principles with the national legal system within the framework of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening sectoral regulations based on Sharia principles, integrating fatwas into positive legal norms, and enhancing educational capacity for both business actors and consumers in order to realize ethical, equitable, and sustainable transactions.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of content marketing strategies in the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia, with a focus on the effectiveness of content in enhancing audience engagement and building the image of Islamic brands. The research was conducted through a literature review of various academic sources and previous studies, as well as an analysis of the content marketing of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) on its YouTube channel as the main object. In the digital context, the types of content used include educational videos, marketing videos, and collaborations with influencers. The findings indicate that visual, educational, interactive, and authentic content has a significant impact on driving digital engagement and increasing brand awareness. Meanwhile, promotional content delivered through influencers tends to be more effective when preceded by strong brand image reinforcement, enabling consumers to develop a more positive perception of the institution. Further analysis reveals that BSI’s YouTube channel has demonstrated consistency in branding, Islamic positioning, and delivering educational messages. However, audience interaction remains limited, as reflected in the minimal responses to comments, underutilization of community features, and subscriber growth lagging behind major banks such as BCA. This situation highlights the need to optimize strategies through strengthening two-way communication, delivering serial educational content, employing more strategic calls-to-action (CTA), and integrating with the official website and other digital platforms. The study concludes that the success of content marketing in Islamic banking heavily depends on value relevance, publication consistency, and the ability to build sustainable interaction with audiences, thereby supporting increased loyalty and customer acquisition. These findings provide important contributions to designing effective and sustainable digital communication strategies that align with ethical principles and Islamic values.

The Campus Teaching Program is a concrete implementation of the Freedom to Learn policy, which positions students as agents of educational transformation in elementary schools, particularly in disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost (3T) areas. One fundamental problem faced by elementary schools in these areas is students' poor understanding of legal norms and school regulations. This condition contributes to high rates of disciplinary violations and rampant bullying behavior, such as verbal harassment, exclusion, and peer coercion. This study aims to analyze the contribution of the Campus Teaching Program in fostering legal awareness in elementary school students through a character education approach. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method and was conducted at Budisari Public Elementary School, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and student participants; participant observation during the learning process; and documentation of activities. Data validity was ensured through methodological triangulation and member checking techniques. The results indicate that the involvement of student teachers in the Campus Teaching Program facilitated the internalization of legal values through learning that integrates character education into both subjects and extracurricular activities. Students successfully developed various educational strategies, such as simulations of school regulations, role-plays about the consequences of violations, and group discussions on the values of honesty, responsibility, and mutual respect. The implementation of these activities resulted in increased student legal awareness, as evidenced by greater compliance with school regulations, fewer disciplinary violations, and a significant decrease in bullying incidents.

The dichotomy between general sciences and religious sciences has become a fundamental issue in modern educational systems, resulting in the emergence of a generation fragmented in knowledge and values. In the context of Indonesian Muslim society, the emergence of Integrated Islamic Schools (Sekolah Islam Terpadu/SIT) serves as a response to concerns over a secular-oriented education system that fails to address spiritual dimensions and holistic character development. This study aims to analyze how the integration of general and religious knowledge serves both as a paradigmatic foundation and a policy driver behind the rise of SIT as an alternative educational model. The research employs a qualitative approach using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, involving an in-depth analysis of scholarly literature, policy documents, and relevant research findings. The results reveal that knowledge integration within SIT goes beyond curriculum unification; it involves an epistemological reconstruction of education that unites cognitive and spiritual dimensions within a tawhidic (monotheistic) framework. National education policy provides a legal space for the development of SIT, while the strategic role of SIT is evident in its capacity to nurture students who are academically competent and morally grounded. This study highlights the importance of strengthening policy and institutional capacity to ensure the sustainability of an integrative and contextually responsive Islamic education system.
