This study aims to analyze the nutritional status and dietary needs of students aged 7–10 years at SDN 3 Sesetan. Using a quantitative descriptive survey method, the research involved total sampling of all 86 second-grade students (40 boys and 46 girls). Data were collected using a stadiometer and weighing scale. Descriptive percentage analysis was used to interpret the data. The results showed that among the participants, 3 students (4%) were classified as severely obese, 2 students (2%) as mildly obese, 32 students (37%) had ideal nutritional status, and 49 students (57%) were underweight. The average daily calorie requirement was 1,935.50 kcal. Macronutrient analysis indicated an average daily requirement of 1,195.01 kcal from carbohydrates, 298.75 kcal from protein, and 497.92 kcal from fat. These findings reveal that a significant number of students have not yet reached optimal nutritional status. The variability in nutritional needs suggests the importance of attention and collaboration from both physical education (PJOK) teachers and parents to support students' health and development.

This report contains the results of interviews conducted by students of Elementary School Teacher Education Program of Santo Thomas Catholic University with teachers and fifth grade students of SDN 068332 Medan Tuntungan. The main purpose of the interviews was to obtain information about learning difficulties, aggressive behavior, and student discipline. Through a qualitative approach and direct interviews, three main problems were found: students who experience learning difficulties, students with aggressive behavior, and students who often skip school or are undisciplined. The results of the interviews showed that learning difficulties were influenced by lack of concentration and learning support at home, aggressive behavior was caused by lack of emotional management and attention from the environment, and discipline problems were related to minimal motivation and family supervision. The guidance actions taken showed positive developments, such as increased courage of students to ask questions, reduced conflict between friends, and improved student attendance rates. The discussion emphasized the importance of collaboration between teachers, students, and parents to create a supportive learning environment. Guidance and counseling services with an empathetic approach and storytelling techniques have proven effective in fostering changes in students' attitudes and behaviors. In conclusion, open communication and consistent guidance are the keys to successful interventions for student problems in elementary schools.

This study aims to describe the strategies used by classroom teachers in addressing students who experience reading difficulties at Al-Hidayah Private Elementary School. Reading difficulties among elementary school students are a common issue and can seriously impact their academic achievement in the future. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that reading difficulties are caused by both internal factors, such as a lack of basic phonological skills, and external factors, such as an unsupportive learning environment. To address these challenges, teachers implement adaptive learning strategies, including individual guidance, the use of visual and audio media, and phonetic-based learning approaches. Additionally, collaboration with parents plays an important role in supporting students’ learning processes at home. These strategies significantly help students improve their reading skills and build self-confidence. The study concludes that overcoming reading difficulties requires synergy between teacher strategies, appropriate learning methods, and supportive environments, both at school and at home.

Birrul Walidain is a concept in Islam that emphasizes the importance of filial piety and treating parents well. This term comes from the words "birr" which means goodness and "walidain" which means parents. This concept is an integral part of Islamic teachings and has broad implications in everyday life. In the Al-Qur'an, Allah SWT commands Muslims to be filial to their parents, as stated in Surah Al-Isra' verses 23-24. This verse emphasizes the importance of treating parents well, not disobeying them, and always praying for them. In everyday life, Birrul Walidain can be realized by obeying parents' orders, treating them with courtesy and respect, and always praying for them. In this way, Muslims can gain the approval of Allah SWT and strengthen their relationship with their parents.

This study aims to explore how online English instruction has been implemented in public senior high schools across Bali, particularly by examining its strengths, limitations, potential benefits, and inherent risks. Employing a qualitative research design, the study involved four English teachers from four different public high schools. Data collection methods included literature analysis, in-depth interviews, and classroom observations.. The study found that online English instruction was shaped by the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) approach, with a particular emphasis on content relevant to the tourism and hospitality sectors. A variety of platforms—such as Zoom, WhatsApp, and other digital tools—were employed to deliver instruction. One of the key advantages identified was the flexibility in time and location, which allowed both students and teachers to access learning materials anytime and anywhere. Furthermore, the availability of diverse digital tools enabled teachers to creatively adapt their teaching strategies. Nonetheless, the implementation also encountered significant barriers, including inconsistent internet access and a lack of adequate digital infrastructure. The study also highlighted opportunities arising from increasing student digital literacy and the expanding use of online learning platforms, which fostered more interactive and engaging learning environments. However, several challenges remained, including low awareness among parents and varying levels of digital competence among educators, which affected the overall effectiveness of the program. The findings underscore the urgent need for sustained teacher training and institutional

This study aims to determine the extent to which the school environment influences students’ interests and motivation in learning at SDN Maos Lor 04. The main research subjects were grade V students, and teachers as supporting informants. The school environment, which includes the physical condition of the building, social interaction, and availability of learning facilities, plays an important role in creating a positive and enjoyable lerning atmosphere, This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that a clean, orderly, safe school atmosphere, as well as a harmonious relationship between teachers and students can encourage enthusiasm for learning and increase student involvement in the learning process. Conversely, a less supportive school environment tends to reduce student motivation and active participation. Students’ interests and desires in learning are also influenced by other factors such as family involvement, emotional support, and implementation of appropriate learning strategies. Therefore, synergy between schools, teachers, and parents is needed to create a conductive and meaningful learning environment for student development.

Teacher motivation, instructional effectiveness, professional learning, and retention continue to pose significant challenges in educational systems worldwide, often exacerbated by elevated levels of burnout and turnover. This study investigates the intersection between modern strategic management and Sharia-based leadership within Islamic educational institutions. Using a qualitative library research method, the paper analyzes recent scholarly literature to examine how Islamic ethics can be integrated into institutional governance. The findings suggest that modern management tools—such as strategic planning, SWOT analysis, and performance evaluations—can be effectively aligned with Islamic values when guided by principles such as shura (consultation), amanah (trust), and ‘adl (justice). However, a significant gap remains between theoretical ideals and actual administrative practices, often driven by bureaucratic and secular benchmarks. The study further identifies a lack of a comprehensive, operational Sharia-compliant leadership model that systematically combines strategic management theory with Islamic jurisprudence. Such a framework is essential for defining ethical leadership roles, participatory governance mechanisms, and accountability systems. Integrating Islamic ethics into leadership practices fosters stakeholder trust—among teachers, parents, and students—which in turn reinforces institutional legitimacy and supports long-term sustainability. The research emphasizes the need for Islamic educational institutions to move beyond symbolic adherence to Sharia and adopt integrated, ethically coherent leadership practices that address both moral and managerial imperatives.
