Perspektif: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Ilmu Bahasa 2025 STAI YPIQ BAUBAU, SULAWESI TENGGARA

This collaborative community service activity aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students at MIN 2 Palangka Raya City using web-based interactive digital books developed by PGMI IAIN Palangka Raya students. This activity is carried out collaboratively, where students design learning media with the guidance of lecturers who also act as expert validators. The activity stage begins with the identification of needs through observations and interviews at partner schools, especially on the theme "Look Around You" in Indonesian language subjects. Students then developed interactive teaching materials that integrated text, images, audio, and other multimedia elements using digital platforms. Media validation was conducted by four expert lecturers with very feasible results: material experts (94%), design experts (96%), classroom teachers (71%), and field trials (91%). The t-test showed a significant increase in learning outcomes (t = 6.60) with an N-Gain score of 1.00 in the high category. This program shows that collaboration between lecturers and students in developing learning media can have a real positive impact on the quality of basic education and can be a sustainable model of academic empowerment.

This study investigates the implementation and effectiveness of artificial intelligence-driven adaptive learning platforms in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms across urban and rural Indonesian educational settings. Through a mixed-methods approach involving 247 students and 12 teachers from eight institutions, this research comparatively analyzes three prominent AI language learning platforms: LinguaLearn AI, AdaptEd English, and AI Tutor Pro. The findings reveal significant differences in learning outcomes, with AI-enhanced platforms demonstrating a 27% improvement in language proficiency compared to traditional methods. However, implementation challenges including digital literacy barriers, internet connectivity issues, and cultural adaptation requirements were identified, particularly in rural contexts. The study proposes a contextually responsive framework for integrating AI language learning technologies in developing EFL environments, contributing to the growing discourse on educational technology in linguistically diverse settings. This research highlights the potential of AI to personalize language acquisition while emphasizing the necessity of culturally and infrastructurally appropriate implementation strategies.

This study aims to determine the effect of using the "Let's Get to Know Capital Letters" Board media on the learning outcomes of grade V MINU Waru I students in the Indonesian Language subject. This study uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design on 28 students. The instrument used was a written test given before and after the treatment. The pretest results showed an average value of 64.5, while the posttest increased to 83.2. Statistical tests showed significant results with a p value = 0.000 (<0.05), which indicates that there is a meaningful difference between before and after using the media. This board media is designed to facilitate students' visual and interactive understanding of capital letter material. The results of the study indicate that this media is effective in improving student learning outcomes. The use of concrete and fun media has been proven to increase student involvement and motivation in the Indonesian Language learning process. Thus, the application of innovative media like this can be an effective strategy to improve the quality of education in elementary schools.

This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on PowerPoint in Indonesian language learning at MI Salafiyah 1 Kauman. The background of this study is the lack of interactive and interesting learning media in elementary schools, especially in Indonesian language subjects. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the development of the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The media developed contains learning materials, animations, practice questions, and automatic feedback to increase student participation and understanding. The results of the validation test by media experts and material experts show that this media is very suitable for use in learning. Limited trials conducted on students showed an increase in interest, active involvement, and student learning outcomes after using the media. In addition, students feel more motivated and find it easier to understand the material because of the attractive and interactive visual display. Thus, this interactive learning media based on PowerPoint can be an alternative to support a more interesting, enjoyable, and effective learning process in the classroom, especially for elementary school level.

The teaching of Indonesian language in elementary schools plays a crucial role in developing students' literacy skills, particularly in narrative writing. However, in practice, many students struggle with generating ideas, constructing storylines, and utilizing proper language structures. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in enhancing narrative writing skills among fifth-grade elementary students. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach was employed. The study involved two groups: the experimental group received instruction based on CTL, while the control group was taught using conventional methods. Data analysis indicated a significant improvement in the narrative writing skills of students in the experimental group compared to the control group. The CTL approach was shown to be effective in improving students' learning outcomes by relating lesson content to real-life experiences, while also fostering active participation and creativity. These findings suggest that CTL can be an effective instructional strategy for teaching writing in elementary schools.

This study aims to describe the effect of implementing Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) on improving Physical Education (PJOK) learning outcomes for students. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a design model based on Kurt Lewin's opinion, which consists of four stages: Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. The research subjects were 40 seventh-grade students of SMP Labschool Unesa 3 in the 2024/2025 academic year. The data collection instrument used in this study was a learning outcome test on the Indonesian Children's Gymnastics Practice Material. This research was conducted over two cycles, each consisting of two meetings and one assessment, which consisted of four stages: planning, action, reflection, and evaluation, from late April to mid-May 2025. Data were analyzed at each cycle, and percentage analysis was performed. The learning outcomes in the first cycle showed that 54% of students achieved mastery, with an average score of 73.19. An improvement was seen in the second cycle, with 80% of students achieving mastery, with an average score of 80.11. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) can improve the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students of SMP Labschool Unesa 3 in the Indonesian Children's Gymnastics Practice Material.

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed the landscape of language learning, particularly in the post-pandemic era where self-directed learning through mobile applications and online platforms is increasingly common. This study explores the effectiveness of two popular digital tools LuvLingua and YouTube in supporting independent Japanese language learning among Indonesian university students. LuvLingua offers a structured, gamified approach suitable for beginners, while YouTube provides authentic and contextual exposure through real-life content. Using a descriptive quantitative method, this research involved twelve students from non-language majors who actively use both platforms to study Japanese. The findings reveal that each platform has distinct advantages: LuvLingua excels in foundational vocabulary and pronunciation, whereas YouTube significantly enhances listening skills and cultural understanding. The combination of both platforms yields optimal learning outcomes, although success heavily depends on learners’ motivation, discipline, and time management. This study contributes to the growing body of research on technology-assisted language learning and provides practical recommendations for learners, educators, and content developers.

This study aims to improve the reading comprehension skills of Class VIB students at UPT SPF SDN Sudirman 1 Makassar through the implementation of the Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review (SQ3R) method. The background of the study is the low learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects, particularly in reading comprehension. Out of 32 students, only 20 reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) score of 75. This research uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, written tests, and documentation. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ reading comprehension abilities. The average score increased from 70.63 in the first cycle to a higher score in the second cycle, with more students achieving the KKM. Additionally, students showed greater participation and enthusiasm during the learning process after the SQ3R method was applied. These findings indicate that the SQ3R method is effective in enhancing reading comprehension and can be used as an alternative learning strategy in teaching Indonesian language at the elementary school level.

This study aimed to improve the learning outcomes of second-grade students at SD Negeri Latsari Tuban in Indonesian language lessons, specifically focusing on the theme "My Unique Family." The classroom activities were designed to encourage active student participation through group discussions on related topics. The research was conducted over two cycles, applying a scientific approach to the learning process.The findings showed a 20% improvement in student learning outcomes, with the average score increasing to 8.68. Mastery levels also improved significantly, from 69% in the first cycle to 89% in the second cycle. These results demonstrate that the scientific approach effectively enhanced student understanding and engagement during the lessons.Overall, the study concludes that the scientific approach is a beneficial method for improving learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects. It also suggests the broader applicability of this method for enhancing student achievement across other themes and subject areas.

This study aims to comprehensively examine the influence of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT) on enhancing students’ problem-solving abilities in physics education. The integration of IoT into PBL is seen as a progressive approach to address the growing demand for innovative instructional strategies that promote higher-order thinking skills. A quantitative approach was adopted, utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group format to assess the effectiveness of the intervention. The participants were 25 undergraduate physics students from the University of West Sulawesi, selected through saturated sampling due to the limited population size. To evaluate students’ problem-solving skills, data were collected using structured written tests designed around five key indicators: understanding the problem, describing the problem, planning the solution, executing the solution, and evaluating the results. Prior to hypothesis testing, normality of the data was assessed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, followed by paired sample t-tests with IBM SPSS Statistics 23 to determine the significance of differences in pretest and posttest scores. The findings revealed a statistically significant improvement in students’ problem-solving skills following the implementation of the IoT-based PBL model, with results showing significance at the 5% level and gain scores classified as effective. These outcomes demonstrate the potential of the PBL-IoT integration to foster critical thinking and improve educational quality. Therefore, the implementation of this instructional model is recommended for physics educators seeking to enhance student engagement, problem-solving proficiency, and learning outcomes through the integration of emerging technologies.

This study aims to analyze the impact of internal and external factors on low student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education subjects in elementary schools. Pancasila education plays an important role in shaping the nation's personality and teaching students their duties and rights in the context of Indonesian society. However, low learning outcomes in this subject indicate a problem that needs to be solved. This research applied the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to synthesize, evaluate and integrate information from previous studies. The data is analyzed with a content analysis approach. This research reveals that low student learning outcomes depend on internal and external influences. The most dominant internal factor is learning motivation, where students who are less motivated tend not to be able to follow learning optimally. In addition, differences in learning styles between students also affect the way they understand the material. On the external side, the use of conventional and less interesting learning media and the limited learning facilities available are important factors that affect students' low learning outcomes. Therefore, in order to improve learning outcomes of Pancasila Education in elementary schools, it is necessary to increase learning motivation, adjust learning styles, and utilize more interesting and supportive learning media and facilities

This research, titled "Analysis of Role-Playing Strategies on Students' Speaking Skills in Grade XI of Madrasah Aliyah Ponpes Tahfidz Al-Faiz Tembung," is motivated by the students' learning outcomes that show limitations in speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects. Learning activities that take place in the classroom are often limited to listening and lecturing activities, even though the curriculum demands that students have higher-order thinking (HOT) skills such as analysis and discussion. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with research subjects consisting of teachers and students. Data collection was carried out through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. This research aims to analyze: (1) the implementation of role-playing strategies in improving students' speaking skills, (2) the assessment of Indonesian language learning outcomes using this strategy, and (3) the supporting and inhibiting factors in using role-playing strategies. The results of the research show that the implementation of learning with role-playing strategies successfully increased students' competence and learning activity, especially in channeling ideas and opinions. The main supporting factors include teacher involvement, students' mastery of the material, and the use of relevant textbooks, including drama scripts and performance videos. Conversely, the inhibiting factors are students' shyness when role-playing and lack of mastery of the material. Based on the findings of this research, role-playing strategies are suitable to be implemented by teachers as a solution to improve the quality of learning in Indonesian language subjects.

Early reading ability is a basic skill that is important to be mastered by early grade students as a foundation for learning at a higher level. However, based on observations in class 1B of SD Negeri 104202 Bandar Setia Village, it was found that many students had difficulty in early reading, such as recognizing letters, combining letters into words, and understanding the meaning of simple words. This study aims to improve students' early reading ability through the use of picture media. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 29 students of class 1B of SD Negeri 104202 Bandar Setia Village. This study was conducted at SD Negeri 104202 Bandar Setia Village on Jl. Terusan Dusun V, Bandar Khalifah, Kec. Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang Regency. Data were collected through observation, reading ability test results, and documentation. The results showed that the use of picture media significantly improved students' early reading ability. The improvement is seen from the results of the reading ability test, active student participation during learning, and increased student interest in learning. This can be seen from the results of the assessment carried out starting from the pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2. The use of visual media to improve Indonesian literacy in elementary schools can improve achievement, ability, and improve student learning outcomes at SD Negeri 104202 Bandar Setia Village. In addition, image media helps students understand the material more easily in a fun and interesting way. The conclusion of this study is that image media is effective as a learning aid to improve early reading skills in early grades. It is hoped that teachers can continue to develop visual-based learning media to create a more interesting and interactive learning atmosphere.

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Power of Two method on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 067240 Medan in the academic year 2024/2025. This study is a quantitative study with a Quasi Experimental Design research type in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this study was 13 students of class IV A and 13 students of class IV B. The instrument used was a multiple choice test. This research technique uses the t-test statistical method. The results of data analysis show that the average learning outcomes using The Power of Two method in the experimental class is 82.69, while the average learning outcomes not using The Power of Two method in the control class is 70. In the normality test with the provision that if sig > 0.050 it is known that the results of the pre-test and post-test of the experimental class and the control class are normally distributed with the acquisition of values ​​in the experimental class pre-test, test results = 0.433 > 0.050 and in the post-test results, test results = 0.227 > 0.050 while in the control class pre-test, test results = 0.155 > 0.050 and in the post-test results, test results = 0.487 > 0.050. The results of the homogeneity test of the research data, it is known that the research data comes from homogeneous samples with the acquisition of homogeneity test values ​​in the pre-test and post-test obtaining significant values, namely 0.758 and 0.325, which means more than 0.050 (Sig.> 0.050), then it can be concluded that both data are said to be homogeneous. Data analysis with hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test with a significance level of α = 0.05 and degree of freedom (df) = 24. From the results of the hypothesis test, tcount> ttable (5.500> 2.308) or H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be stated that there is a significant influence between the application of the Power of Two method on the learning outcomes of grade IV students of SD Negeri 067240 Medan Academic Year 2024/2025

Writing fiction stories is one of the important language skills in learning Indonesian. However, students' interest in writing fiction stories is still low, especially in Class V of SD S Alwashliyah 31 Medan Labuhan. One of the main causes is the lack of learning methods that attract and motivate students. Therefore, this research aims to increase interest and skills in writing fiction stories using image media. The research method used is descriptive analytical, namely a study that aims to collect data, describe, process, analyze, conclude and interpret data in order to obtain a systematic picture. The subjects of this research were 30 class V-A students in semester 1 of the 2024-2025 academic year. The data collection instruments used include competency tests and observation sheets. Competency tests are used to measure student learning outcomes after learning takes place using image media, while observation sheets are used to assess the implementation of class actions, class conditions, and student activity in the learning process. The research results show that image media can increase creativity, motivation, and help students compose more structured stories. This research is expected to provide insight for teachers in implementing more effective learning methods to improve students' writing skills.

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has drastically changed the global employment landscape, necessitating the comprehensive development of 21st-century skills in education systems. This study examines how private high schools in Indonesia implement 21st-century skills, focusing on the barriers faced, the strategies used, and their impact on student learning outcomes. We used a mixed-methods approach involving 200 students, 25 teachers, and 10 principals from five private high schools in Java. Data were collected through surveys, semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results revealed four main barriers: limited teacher preparedness, limited resources, difficulties in assessment, and resistance to changes in teaching methods. Effective strategies implemented included ongoing professional development programs, integrating learning technology, project-based learning, and strengthening teacher collaboration. Our findings demonstrate significant improvements in students' critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills in schools implementing the comprehensive strategy. This research provides theoretical contributions to understanding the implementation context in developing countries while offering practical implications for policy makers, school administrators, and educators in designing contextual and sustainable 21st-century skills development programs.

"Improvement of Short Story Writing Ability Through the Personal Experience of Class VIII Unismuh Junior High School Makassar". Thesis of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Makassar Muhammadiyah University.This type of research is a Class Action Research (Class Action Research) which aims to describe the improvement of short story writing skills through the personal experience of students of class Class VIII Unismuh Junior High School Makassar and describes the process of improving the ability to write short stories through the personal experience of the MA class Class VIII Unismuh Junior High School Makassar. The instruments used in data collection were tests, observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and the data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The data in this study are in the form of tesp there are 24 students and the results of observations in the learning process.The results showed that quantitatively there was an increase in the learning outcomes of short story writing through the personal experience of 24 students, namely on the pretest results, an average score of 56.63%. In the first cycle the average score of student learning outcomes was 68.13%, while the second cycle of student learning outcomes writing short stories through personal experience was 81.74%. In the first cycle, students who finished 9 students or 46.48% and categories of incomplete were 15 students or 53.52%. While in the second cycle category there were 21 students or 89.96% and the incomplete category were 3 people or 10.04% meaning that there was an increase of 13.61%.Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the results of learning to write short stories through the personal experience of students of class XI MA Darul Istiqamah Maccopa Maros Regency can be improved through students' personal experiences.

Rapid technological developments require technology integration in learning. Developing science and technology from an early age is one of the best approaches in the context of education in the era of globalization. Informatics subjects have been implemented in the Indonesian curriculum to ensure students' ability to use technology. Interactive learning media plays an important role in strengthening students' understanding of complex concepts. Conventional learning paradigms can be changed to be more interesting, collaborative, and relevant if used in education. One interesting learning media is Wordwall, an application that offers various game features to increase students' interest and motivation to learn. In the context of informatics learning in junior high schools, the use of Wordwall can be an effective alternative to help students remember the components of a computer system. In order to support the use of Wordwall in learning, a literature study was conducted to understand more deeply about the use of this application and the factors that influence it. This study applies the literature study method by collecting and analyzing several related references in the last 5-10 years to present relevant and up-to-date information. By evaluating the results of previous studies, we can conclude that the use of Wordwall in education promises significant progress in student learning outcomes and motivation.
