Indonesian language instruction in elementary schools aims to improve students' oral and written communication. Indonesian serves as a primary tool for students to hone their language skills correctly and effectively. Reading skills in elementary school are divided into two phases: initial reading (lower grades) and further reading (upper grades). Initial reading skills influence students' readiness before entering the next learning stage. However, second-grade elementary school students often face difficulties in developing initial reading and writing skills. Factors such as socio-economic background, gender, and teaching methods used by teachers can affect the success of literacy programs. By considering these factors, we can improve students' literacy skills at the beginning level.

This study aims to identify the factors that influence the unemployment rate and its impact on the economic and social welfare of the community. The research method uses a literature study. The findings show that factors such as inequality in labor supply and demand, government policies that are less pro-people, and population growth are the main causes of high unemployment. Although the government has taken measures, such as the allocation of funds for handling COVID-19 and incentive programs, the decline in unemployment has not been significant. Recommendations include policies that support increased employment, investment in education and skills training, gender inclusion in the workforce, and cooperation between the government, private sector and civil society to create sustainable employment. With these measures, Indonesia is expected to reduce its unemployment rate and create a more stable and inclusive economy.

Spinal anesthesia or Block (SAB) is one of the regional anesthesia techniques, which is one technique to obtain analgesia as high as certain dermatons and relax skeletal muscles by injecting spinal anesthesia drugs into the subarachnoid space of the block. One of the complications that can occur is Postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV). PONV can be caused by many factors, one of which is the length of fasting. Preanesthesia fasting about 6-8 hours before surgery is performed as an effort to minimize the incidence of aspiration of stomach contents or nausea and vomiting. Objective:Determine the relationship between the length of fasting and the incidence of nausea and vomiting in post-spinal anesthesia. This type of research is an observational study with a Cross-sectional research design. The population in this study is all patients who will undergo spinal anesthesia in the IBS room of RSUD Kab. Batang. Sampling in this study was using the Purposive Sampling method of 49 samples and using the Spearman Rank analysis test. The research instrument uses observation sheets. The age of most respondents in this study was 36-40 years as many as 26 respondents (53.1%), the most gender is women 32 respondents (65.3%), and those who experienced the most fasting length of 2-6 hours with 30 respondents (61,3%), while PONV as many as 29 respondents (59.2%). Based on the results of the Spearman Rank test to determine the relationship between the length of fasting and the incidence of Post Operative Nausea and Vomiting (PONV) obtained a result of 0.007 (P0.5). The majority of respondents who did not experience PONV were 14 respondents (28.6%). There is a significant relationship between the length of fasting and the incidence of Post Operative Nausea and Vomiting (PONV).

Poverty is not just about difficulties in meeting basic needs, but also involves various dimensions of human life such as health, education, future security, and influential social roles. Some factors that influence poverty include the Gender Development Index (GDI), the Human Development Index (HDI), and Economic Growth as measures of human progress and economic development. In this study, the path analysis method is used, allowing us to identify the direct and indirect impacts of independent variables on dependent variables. Thus, we can understand the complex relationship between various factors in the context of poverty. The information used for this study is sourced from the Central Statistics Agency of Central Kalimantan using secondary information in the form of time series data. The findings of this research show that the gender development index has no influence on the economic growth variable. The human development index also does not affect the economic growth variable. Additionally, the gender development index does not affect the poverty level variable. However, the human development index significantly affects the economic growth variable. Meanwhile, economic growth does not affect the poverty level. Finally, the human development index through economic growth does not have a significant impact on the poverty level.

This study aims to explore the position and role of Indigenous Papuan women (OAP) in the context of patriarchal culture in Sebyar Rejosari Village, Tomu District, Teluk Bintuni Regency, West Papua. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews with ten informants (married and unmarried women), and documentation. The results of the study indicate that patriarchal culture significantly disadvantages women, as evidenced by their limited access to education and healthcare, both physical and mental. These limitations lead to stress and feelings of low self-esteem among OAP women. The author hopes for a shift through empowering women via higher education and equal access to resources. This research supports postcolonial feminist theory, which emphasizes the need for the decolonization of gender thinking. The best solution is to integrate local values with empowerment programs to improve the position of women in society. Independent and well-educated women are expected to contribute significantly to the development of their communities.

This study aims to examine the role of body language in building trust in first interactions among teenagers in Bandung City. Through an ethnomethodological approach, this study analyzes various nonverbal elements such as facial expressions, hand gestures, body posture, and proxemics that influence perceptions of trust. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and video analysis.  The results show that body language plays a crucial role in establishing trust at the first interaction. A genuine smile and consistent eye contact are key indicators used by adolescents to assess trust. Open hand gestures and upright posture also contribute positively to perceptions of trust.Appropriate interpersonal distance helps create a sense of comfort and trust, while a warm tone of voice and a moderate pace of speech increase perceptions of sincerity.  Local cultural norms and the influence of global trends affect the way adolescents use body language in their interactions. Gender differences were also found, with adolescent girls being more expressive in hand gestures and facial expressions, while adolescent boys relied more on body posture and tone of voice. The study concludes that understanding and effective use of body language is key in building trust in first interactions. Practical implications of the findings include developing nonverbal communication skills in adolescent education and increasing cultural awareness in social interactions.
