The role of teachers in enhancing students' active participation in the learning process, which is considered an important element in the success of teaching and learning activities. This study applies a descriptive qualitative approach and literature review to recognise the various elements that impact on student participation, including internal (psychological and physiological) and external (non-social and social) factors. The article also examines learning strategies such as problem-oriented learning, active learning and project-based learning to enhance student engagement. In addition, methods such as ‘Index Card Match’ and discovery-based learning models are used to increase student participation. The results showed that students' participation contributed significantly to their learning achievement, both through active involvement in discussions and the courage to ask questions. The author suggests the application of creative teaching methods as well as efficient teacher questioning skills to optimise students' participation potential in the classroom.

The education systems in China and Indonesia have significant differences, although both aim to create an educated generation. In China, education focuses on the development of technical and academic skills with a highly structured and competitive system, especially through the Gaokao exam that determines students’ academic futures. Meanwhile, Indonesia places more emphasis on cultural diversity and character development, with a more inclusive learning approach based on social values. These differences are clearly reflected in the educational structure, curriculum, teaching methods, and assessment systems, which align with the social and economic needs of each country.

This work explores the potential of PennyLane and variational quantum-classical algorithms (VQCA) to forecast lung cancer using a structured dataset. The VQCA model performs exceptionally well, with flawless training, validation, and test accuracies of 1.0, demonstrating its capacity to identify patterns in the dataset and provide reliable predictions successfully. Contrarily, the accuracy of the quantum neural network (QNN) and classical neural network (NN) models is lower, demonstrating the benefits of utilizing quantum computing methods for enhanced predictive modeling. We provide a complete examination of the data, stressing the better performance of the VQCA model and its promise in correctly predicting lung cancer. The results highlight the importance of quantum-classical algorithms and help us understand the benefits and drawbacks of various strategies for predicting lung cancer. The study highlights the potential applications of quantum computing techniques in advancing the field of healthcare analytics. It shows the capability of the VQCA model to predict lung cancer using a tabular dataset accurately. Further research in this area is needed to explore scalability and practical implementation aspects. In summary, this study showcases the potential of VQCA and PennyLane in predicting lung cancer and underscores the benefits of quantum computing techniques in healthcare analytics.

Honesty is one of the core values in Islamic education that serves as a foundation for shaping individual character, particularly in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). This study aims to explore honesty as a fundamental value in Islam, its implementation strategies in pesantren, and its impact on the character development of students (santri). Using a qualitative approach, this research utilizes literature analysis and field observations to understand how honesty is taught, practiced, and internalized in the daily lives of students. The findings reveal that honesty is implemented through the reinforcement of religious values in daily activities, fostering truthful behavior in the teaching-learning process, and role modeling by caregivers and educators. Implementation strategies include an ethics-based educational approach, strict supervision, and continuous evaluation. The impact is evident in the increased self-confidence of students, strengthened integrity, and their ability to face life challenges in alignment with Islamic principles. Thus, honesty is not only a critical element in shaping the character of students but also a foundation for developing individuals who are responsible, trustworthy, and morally upright. This study recommends the consistent application of honesty-based learning methods as a pillar of character education in pesantren.

Education is the process of forming and developing individual character through learning activities. Education can also be considered a provision given to someone that will be useful in the future or when they are adults. Volleyball is one of the most popular sports in the community because it is affordable and can be played anywhere. after making observations in the field, it turns out that there are many students who do not understand and understand the lessons with this method. this is evident from the report card grades of physical education students, many of whom still do not reach the standard score or KKN (75) and it is also evident when researchers make observations when teachers teach many students who do not understand and have difficulty doing a movement. The method used in this research is the experimental method and the sample used in this study were students of SMK Negeri 1 Tomohon totaling 34 students and divided into two groups, namely the experimental group of 17 students and the control group of 17 students. The research design used was Randomized Pre-test and Post-test Control Group Desing. The instrument used is the Basic Gear Mastery Test on Spike in Volleyball Games. The conclusion in this study is that the application of the inclusion style has an influence on improving basic movements on spikes in volleyball games for students of SMK NEGERI 1 TOMOHON.

he ability of young children to understand beginning mathematics is still relatively low. This is because the learning process in early childhood is not carried out in accordance with the child's age development. The aim of this research is to describe the use of flashcard media in introducing early mathematics concepts to early childhood. The research method used in this research is using literature study techniques by reviewing several pieces of literature from various existing sources which are adapted to the research topic. The data analysis technique used in this research consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The research results obtained in this study are that the use of flashcard media can help children understand initial mathematical concepts such as the concepts of numbers and geometry. This is because the flashcard media displays images, basic geometric shapes which have quantities corresponding to the number symbols 1-10, so that children can easily understand the meaning of the numbers 1-10 based on the quantity of the images of the basic geometric shapes displayed in the flashcard media.

This study aims to analyze the intuitive thinking skills of junior high school students in solving geometric problems based on their learning styles: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. The research employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through a learning style questionnaire to categorize students, problem-solving tests on geometric shapes, and in-depth interviews to explore students' intuitive thinking abilities. The findings indicate that students with a visual learning style exhibit stronger intuitive thinking skills compared to those with auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. Visual learners provided clear and well-structured answers aligned with intuitive thinking indicators such as Catalytic Inference, Power of Synthesis, and Common Sense. Conversely, auditory learners tended to give less detailed answers, although they could identify relevant information. Kinesthetic learners offered brief and less detailed responses, particularly in specifying measurements and units in their calculations. These findings underscore the importance of understanding students' diverse learning styles to optimize mathematics teaching strategies, particularly in enhancing problem-solving skills and intuitive thinking.

Human resources are the most important asset in an organization/business, especially in an educational institution, so they are very important. It is important that existing human resources can be planned as well as possible to achieve the goals of the organization/institution. Careful human resource planning will ensure smooth operations. Yes or no, this is the operational process of an organization/institution. There are many effective and efficient human resource planning models, but effective human resource planning and effective intentions are sometimes not realized optimally, only limited to imagination and desire. just a hope. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze human resource planning and find solutions to problems that influence HR planning at Mis Al-Washliyah Greahan. The research method used by researchers in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods using interview techniques, observation and document study. After the data is collected, classify, edit and present the data based on each data type. Before data is collected, it is first analyzed and checked for validity. The research results show that human resource planning is carried out through programs, activities, planning stages, including quality indicators or goals to be achieved in a process of improving the quality of education. This form of planning includes resource management which includes developing human resources, developing the learning process and increasing the capacity of human resources to improve the quality of education.
