This study explores the function of the scientific approach and learning assessment as elements that strengthen the quality of education through a structured literature review. The review of various sources shows that the continuous application of the scientific method has a positive effect on improving students’ critical thinking, creativity, learning independence, and character development. Findings from several studies over the past decade support the effectiveness of implementing the scientific method at various educational levels, despite challenges such as limited time and learning resources. In addition, comprehensive learning evaluation not only measures final outcomes but also considers context, input, and process (CIPP model), thereby enhancing the relevance of learning objectives and student motivation. The literature review also highlights the importance of guidance and counseling (GC) as an integrative component that supports students’ academic, social, personal, and character development at both primary and secondary education levels. However, some studies identify challenges in implementation, such as students’ low reading interest and the dominant role of teachers, which can be addressed through STEM-based and blended learning models. Overall, the integration of GC with learning evaluation has the potential to realize holistic education that balances intellectual, emotional, social, moral, and spiritual intelligence, while preparing students to contribute effectively to society and the future workforce. These findings encourage the development of educational policies and learning practices that are more process-oriented, context-based, and focused on the holistic development of student competencies.

Learning design in Islamic religious education plays a crucial role, as it focuses not only on mastering knowledge but also on the development of students' morals and spirituality. This study attempts to explain how Islamic values can be integrated into the learning design process through a thematic study of verses from the Qur'an. This study employed a library research method with a thematic approach, examining verses from the Qur'an related to education and learning themes. The study found that verses such as QS Al-Baqarah: 31, QS An-Nahl: 125, and QS Ali-Imran: 159 contain educational principles relevant to learning design, including careful planning, wisdom in delivery, and compassion in educating. These values align with the principles of modern, learner-oriented learning design. Therefore, the integration of Qur'anic values into Islamic religious learning design serves as an important foundation for creating a holistic and Islamic learning process

The goal of Islamic education focuses not only on improving cognitive abilities, but also on the formation of a complete human being (insan kamil) who integrates knowledge, attitudes, spirituality, and life skills based on Islamic values. This article aims to examine the relevance of Bloom's Taxonomy in the context of Islamic education, particularly its application to Islamic values in educational institutions. This research uses a literature study method with a descriptive qualitative approach through analysis of classical and contemporary literature. The results show that the three main domains in Bloom's Taxonomy—cognitive, affective, and psychomotor—are aligned with the goals of Islamic education. The cognitive domain, as implied in Q.S. Al-'Alaq: 1–5, emphasizes the importance of reading, understanding, and critical thinking as forms of intellectual development. The affective domain is related to the formation of noble character, sincerity, and self-control (Q.S. Al-Syu'ara: 88–89), which serve as the moral foundation of students. Meanwhile, the psychomotor domain emphasizes the application of Islamic values in real behavior through worship, discipline, and social responsibility. The integration of these three domains reflects a holistic approach to Islamic education that balances intellectual, spiritual, and moral aspects. Thus, Bloom's Taxonomy can be used as an integrative learning model that enriches the Islamic education process and strengthens its role in character and civilization formation. Consequently, Islamic educators need to develop learning strategies that not only measure cognitive abilities but also foster students' religious attitudes and skills, leading to individuals of faith, knowledge, and noble character.

This study examines character and competency development through a philosophical approach. This philosophical approach plays a crucial role in developing students' character and competency, ensuring that education is not solely oriented toward knowledge but also toward the formation of morals and a holistic personality. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method, examining the ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions within the context of character education. The results indicate that a philosophical approach provides a profound understanding of the nature of humans as moral and rational beings capable of internalizing good values through reflection. This approach also encourages students to think critically, be responsible, and demonstrate integrity in all their actions. Furthermore, spiritual and social aspects are strengthened through the development of empathy, wisdom, and ethical awareness in interactions with the environment. The application of a philosophical approach makes the educational process more meaningful because it touches on the realms of knowledge, morals, and spirituality in a balanced manner. Thus, philosophy-based education can create individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also possess strong character, a reflective spirit, and are able to make a positive contribution to society.

Conflict is an inevitable phenomenon in organizational life and has the potential to greatly affect performance, interpersonal relationships, and institutional sustainability. The complexity of interactions in educational, business, and social environments makes this issue increasingly relevant for in-depth study. This study aims to examine the development of scientific studies on types of conflict and conflict management strategies over the past six years. The main focus of the study is to answer two questions: what types of conflict are most dominant in organizations, and how are conflict resolution strategies applied in various institutional contexts? The research method used is a literature review with the main keyword “types of conflict,” through searches in several scientific databases. From the selection results, five relevant articles were obtained and then analyzed based on research themes and trends. The analysis results show three main findings. First, conflicts within organizations can be classified into intrapersonal, interpersonal, and intergroup conflicts. Second, conflict resolution strategies emphasize the importance of effective communication, collaboration, mediation, and participatory leadership in creating sustainable solutions. Third, ethical and religious dimensions are also important aspects in building fair and harmonious resolutions. This study confirms that effective conflict management requires a multidimensional approach that integrates managerial, psychological, and moral values. Researchers are encouraged to conduct comparative studies between institutions to enrich their understanding of organizational conflict dynamics.

Education is a process of internalizing values, knowledge, skills, and character formation towards becoming a better individual. In the era of globalization, various challenges arise such as moral degradation, misuse of technology, and the lack of students’ religiosity. These conditions encourage the need to strengthen character education based on the values of the Qur’an. One of the efforts made is through the tahfidz Al-Qur’an program, which aims not only to provide memorization skills but also to cultivate students’ religiosity and good character in line with the vision of the madrasah. This study aims to describe the implementation of the tahfidz Al-Qur’an program in shaping students’ character at MTs Negeri 3 Banyumas. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a field research approach conducted at MTs Negeri 3 Banyumas. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in shaping students’ character in the digital era, particularly through the use of non-digital learning media. The rapid development of technology has brought both positive and negative impacts on students. On one hand, technology facilitates access to information and enables more interactive learning processes. On the other hand, exposure to negative content and digital distractions can weaken students’ concentration and moral control. This research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach and a correlational design. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire from five respondents selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that teaching IRE using non-digital media significantly improves students’ concentration, discipline, and awareness of worship. Furthermore, IRE positively contributes to fostering wise internet usage and proper digital communication ethics. These results indicate that combining traditional approaches with the integration of religious values is highly effective in addressing the challenges of the digital era and promoting the development of students’ character rooted in Islamic values.

This study analyzes the potential of the traditional performing art Cupak Gurantang in supporting cultural tourism in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Indonesia. Cupak Gurantang is a distinctive folk theater from Lombok that conveys moral and social values through the conflict between Cupak, a cunning character, and Gerantang, an honest one. Through this narrative, the performance functions not only as entertainment but also as a medium for moral education within the community. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review as data collection methods. Analysis is conducted through a SWOT method and a participatory approach to explore the cultural functions, preservation challenges, and development strategies. The findings indicate that Cupak Gurantang plays a significant role in preserving local cultural identity and strengthening moral values among society. However, several challenges persist, including limited regeneration of young performers, financial constraints, and the marginalization of traditional arts within a tourism sector that tends to prioritize natural attractions. The study recommends community empowerment, youth training, innovative performance presentations, and the use of digital promotion and integration into cultural tourism packages. With these strategies, Cupak Gurantang holds substantial potential to become a sustainable cultural tourism attraction in West Nusa Tenggara.

The post-truth phenomenon has posed significant challenges to education, particularly Islamic education, in shaping a young generation that is both critical and religious. Generation Alpha, born and raised in a digital ecosystem, faces an overwhelming flow of information, disinformation, and opinion manipulation that often blurs the line between fact and falsehood. This study aims to analyze how Islamic education can respond to the post-truth crisis by fostering a critical-religious character among Generation Alpha. This research employs a qualitative library-based method, utilizing content analysis that integrates classical Islamic sources on epistemology such as al-haqq and tabayyun with contemporary findings on digital literacy and the psychosocial development of Generation Alpha. The findings indicate that Islamic education should focus on strengthening Islamic digital literacy, promoting dialogical learning that cultivates critical thinking, and integrating strong spiritual values. Curriculum transformation, the role of teachers as epistemic role models, and the support of families and communities are essential in creating an educational ecosystem capable of countering post-truth influences. Thus, Islamic education serves as both a moral and intellectual safeguard, protecting Generation Alpha from the crisis of truth while preparing them to be critical, adaptive, and religious Muslims in the digital age.

This community outreach activity was conducted at the Wahyu TPQ/RA Foundation, focusing on the implementation of religious character education through daily habituation activities for early childhood. The main issue behind this activity is the importance of instilling religious values from an early age to shape a generation with noble morals and Islamic character. The method used was a qualitative method with a participatory approach, through observation, interviews, and documentation during religious habituation activities such as prayers before and after studying, reading short surahs, practicing congregational prayers, and Friday Infaq activities. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in children's involvement in religious activities and their consistency in carrying out positive habits. Children became more accustomed to prayer, their manners improved, and an awareness of sharing emerged through infaq activities. These findings are in line with the theory of habituation (habit formation), which emphasizes repetition as a strategy for forming character. This activity contributes to the development of science in the field of early childhood education, particularly in the aspect of religious character education, and can be a model of good practice that can be replicated by similar educational institutions.

Education plays a crucial role in shaping the personality, morals, and spiritual values of students. In the Islamic perspective, education is not solely focused on the mastery of knowledge but also includes the cultivation of noble character, the strengthening of faith, and the enhancement of religiosity as a form of devotion to Allah Swt. Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren), as traditional Islamic educational institutions, have a strategic role in instilling these values through religious activities, the teaching of classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning), and the habituation of virtuous behavior. Pesantren serve not only as centers of learning but also as institutions for character formation and spiritual development. However, the forces of globalization and modernization bring new challenges in the form of cultural, technological, and informational influences that often conflict with Islamic values. Therefore, pesantren are required to develop adaptive, innovative, and relevant educational strategies that align with contemporary needs without losing their Islamic identity. One effective approach is the implementation of Islamic counseling, a process of psychological and spiritual guidance grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah. Through this counseling, students are expected to strengthen their faith, enhance their religiosity, and develop moral resilience in facing the dynamics of modern life based on strong Islamic values.

This research examines the role of family quality time in dealing with children with special needs (ABK) from the perspective of John 9:2-3. Based on analysis of the text, this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with library study methods to collect and analyze data from various relevant sources. The results of the discussion show that children with special needs are God's initial creation, and there is a need for a deep understanding of human diversity and rejection of stigmatization related to children's conditions. In this context, the role of the family is very important in supporting, protecting and treating children with special needs with appropriate love and respect. The perspective of John 9:2-3 shows that the physical or mental condition of children with special needs is not the result of sin, but is an opportunity to demonstrate God's power and demonstrate God's love and deep concern for children. Therefore, implementing the role of family quality time involves several approaches, including giving full attention when together, involving children in family activities, and reading and meditating on the Bible together. So, this approach has great potential to promote the well-being and development of children with special needs, as well as strengthen healthy and inclusive intrafamilial relationships. Thus, the role of family quality time in dealing with children with special needs is important morally and spiritually, as well as in forming a strong foundation for children's growth and happiness in the family context.
