This study examines the integration of social activities and leadership values in shaping the character of students by the PIJAR Semarang Community as a form of community-based non-formal education. The background of this study stems from the increasing problems with student character, such as low empathy, responsibility, and self-confidence, as well as the increasing cases of violence and bullying in the educational environment. These conditions indicate that formal education has not been fully able to address the challenges of shaping student character. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research was conducted at the PIJAR Semarang Community by involving community managers, volunteers, and students as research subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation of activities, and documentation to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the character-building process. The results of the study show that the PIJAR Semarang Community integrates social activities and leadership values through academic and non-academic learning programs that are designed to be contextual and participatory. Social activities such as play-based learning, social action, field trips, art performances, and leadership training are the main media for instilling character values. The character values developed include responsibility, cooperation, empathy, discipline, and self-confidence. Leadership values are instilled through habit formation, volunteer role models, providing opportunities for participation, and the active involvement of students in every activity. This study also found several obstacles in the form of differences in student character, limited resources, and low self-confidence among some students in leadership. To overcome these obstacles, the PIJAR Semarang Community implemented intensive mentoring, motivation building, and adjustments to activities to make them more inclusive. Overall, this study confirms that the integration of social activities and leadership values in community-based non-formal education plays an important role in the holistic and sustainable character building of students.

Modern conflict has evolved into the cyber domain as part of hybrid warfare, demanding a reinterpretation of the Sishankamrata (Total People's Defense and Security System) doctrine to encompass the digital realm. This study aims to analyze the integration of cyber defense into the Sishankamrata framework using a literature review and comparative analysis with the cyber defense strategies of the United States, Estonia, and Singapore. The results indicate that the implementation of Sishankamrata in the cyber domain faces challenges regarding inter-institutional synergy and unclear operational roles for the Reserve and Support Components. Based on the comparative analysis, Estonia's Cyber Defence Unit model and Singapore's Digital Defence pillar are identified as the most effective blueprints for Indonesia to mobilize civilian experts and enhance social resilience. This study recommends that the government formalize "Digital Defense" as an integral pillar of Sishankamrata, establish a Cyber Reserve Component consisting of expert civilian volunteers, and strengthen legal frameworks and public digital literacy as a form of state defense

This study analyzes the cinematography strategies in determining creative visuals in the documentary film "2000 for Parking: The Phenomenon of Illegal Parking Attendants in Jatinangor," which documents the practice of illegal parking for Rp2,000-Rp5,000 in the Sumedang educational area as a social critique of the weak supervision of public spaces. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with frame-by-frame content analysis based on Joseph V. Mascelli's 5Cs theory and Bill Nichols' expository mode, the results demonstrate the dominance of eye-level angles (65%), low-key natural lighting (70%), handheld shaky camera (40%), and match cuts to build empathy, urgency, and a persuasive three-act narrative about the phenomenon of urban poverty. This visual strategy represents a power imbalance through low angles and rack focus, resulting in a 40% increase in audience awareness based on test screenings. Budget limitations are overcome through authentic improvisation that distinguishes the film from conventional Indonesian documentaries. The study concludes that cinematography is an effective visual storyteller for social advocacy, suggesting the integration of VR and AI-assisted techniques for future productions.

Health anxiety is a psychological condition characterized by excessive and persistent worry about having or developing a serious illness despite the absence of objective medical evidence. Among adolescents, health anxiety often manifests through recurrent somatic complaints that lead to repeated visits to primary health care services. This study aims to describe the dynamics of health anxiety in an adolescent and to examine the early response to a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) intervention delivered in a primary health care setting. This research employed a clinical case study design with a descriptive qualitative approach supported by quantitative assessment data. The participant was an adolescent presenting with recurrent physical complaints without identifiable medical pathology. Data were collected through clinical interviews, behavioral observation, and standardized psychological instruments, namely the Short Health Anxiety Inventory (HAI-18) and the Patient Health Questionnaire-15 (PHQ-15). Quantitative analysis focused on pre- and post-intervention score comparison, calculation of change scores, and the Reliable Change Index to evaluate individual-level change. The findings revealed a high level of health anxiety accompanied by low severity of somatic symptoms, indicating that psychological distress was primarily driven by maladaptive cognitive interpretations rather than physical pathology. Following the CBT intervention, a reduction in health anxiety scores was observed, reflecting an early improvement, although the change did not reach statistical significance based on the Reliable Change Index. These results suggest that CBT may produce meaningful early changes in health anxiety when implemented in primary health care settings, even with brief intervention formats. The study highlights the importance of early psychological assessment and intervention for adolescents with recurrent somatic complaints and supports the integration of mental health services within primary health care. However, findings should be interpreted cautiously due to the single-case design, and further research with larger samples and longitudinal follow-up is recommended

This study is motivated by the position of traditional music as a cultural element that not only functions aesthetically but also plays an important role in constructing social meaning, symbolism, and collective identity within a community. This article aims to examine the social meaning and function of Tagonggong music in the Tulude tradition of the Sangihe community in Londoun Village as a diaspora community. The research uses a qualitative method with a cultural ethnographic approach through participatory observation, unstructured interviews with traditional elders, Tagonggong players, and community leaders, as well as documentation. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and interpretatively using Alan P. Merriam's theoretical framework on the function of music. The results of the study show that Tagonggong music has a multidimensional function in the Tulude tradition, including symbolic communication, emotional expression, representation of cultural identity, reinforcement of social norms, and social integration and cohesion within the community.Tagonggong not only functions as an accompaniment to ceremonies, but also as a sacred musical instrument that connects the relationship between humans, ancestors, and God, while also marking the space and time of the ceremony. This finding confirms that Tagonggong is a living cultural archive that preserves the collective memory and ethnic identity of the Sangihe community in exile. Implicitly, this research enriches Indonesian ethnomusicology studies by positioning traditional music as an active social text in maintaining the cultural structure and solidarity of the communities that support it.

Emotional intelligence (EQ) and spirituality (SQ) are two important aspects in shaping an individual's psychological balance. The study conducted a systematic review of 20 scientific articles to explore the relationship between the two in various contexts, such as education, organization, and health. The results of the study show that EQ and SQ are not only significantly interconnected, but also play a joint role in improving emotional regulation, resilience, and meaning of life. These findings confirm the importance of a holistic approach to self-development that integrates emotional and spiritual dimensions to achieve wholesome well-being. Further, empirical evidence indicates that individuals with high EQ and SQ tend to have better interpersonal skills, stronger adaptability, as well as lower levels of stress. The integration of these two constructs is also relevant for the design of positive psychology-based interventions and character education, as it can strengthen self-awareness, empathy, and value orientation. Thus, simultaneously strengthening EQ and SQ has the potential to be an effective strategy in improving quality of life and mental health across settings.

The global ecological crisis indicates that technical methods and regulations alone are insufficient to change human behavior related to the environment, thus requiring approaches that touch on moral and spiritual aspects. This study aims to design and examine spiritual-ecological education as an alternative approach in building sustainable environmental awareness. This research uses a qualitative method based on literature study using Miles and Huberman's analysis through summarization, exposition, and data conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that spiritual-ecological education has three important outcomes, namely: (1) the integration of the values of monotheism, khalifah, and ecological trust creates a solid environmental ethical framework; (2) the methods of ecosufism and scientia sacra deepen students' affective and reflective understanding of the relationship between humans and nature; and (3) contextual learning methods such as eco-pesantren and environmental programs may connect spiritual values with real ecological activities. This study contributes scientifically by developing a theoretical basis for spiritual-ecological education that combines theological, philosophical, and pedagogical aspects of environmental education. These results imply the importance of developing lesson plans and teacher training that place spirituality as the basis of ecological understanding, with the caveat that drawing general conclusions from the study results requires further empirical testing.

The rapid growth of Indonesia’s banking industry has encouraged various corporate actions, such as mergers, to enhance efficiency and competitiveness. However, post-merger system integration often creates issues for customers, particularly the increase in credit collectability caused by data migration errors. This study aims to analyze the legal protection and liability of banks toward customers adversely affected by the merger process. The research employs a normative juridical approach through legislation review and case study analysis. The findings indicate that customer legal protection operates both preventively and repressively. Preventive protection is regulated under the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) No. 6/POJK.07/2022, emphasizing transparency, education, and data security principles. Meanwhile, repressive protection is carried out through internal bank complaint mechanisms, the Financial Services Alternative Dispute Resolution Institution (LAPS SJK), and civil lawsuits under Articles 1365 and 1243 of the Indonesian Civil Code. The study concludes that banks are legally responsible for restoring customers’ rights by correcting SLIK data, issuing clarification letters, and providing material and immaterial compensation. Upholding prudential principles and consumer protection is essential to maintaining public trust in the post-merger banking system.
