In the midst of the digital era filled with various information, the ability to sort and understand accurate information is very necessary so that students can better understand Islamic teachings. The service of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning assistance by improving students' critical thinking skills aims to explore effective learning methods in PAI subjects in order to improve the critical thinking skills of grade XI students at SMK Hayatul Islam. This study applies the assistance method, which includes the stages of observation and coordination, implementation, and evaluation and reflection. Based on the results of the service, it shows that the use of discussion-based methods, problem solving, and analysis of religious texts helps hone students' critical thinking skills. They become more active in conveying ideas and are able to connect religious concepts with everyday life. However, there are several obstacles found, such as students' difficulty in constructing logical arguments and time constraints in the learning process. Therefore, more intensive assistance from teachers and the application of more varied methods are needed so that PAI learning is more effective in developing students' critical thinking patterns.

This study aims to analyze language errors found in public media such as banners, posters, and billboards in Medan City. The errors analyzed include morphological, phonological, syntactic, lexical, and spelling mistakes that do not align with the Indonesian Language Spelling System (PUEBI) and the Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI). The method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection through direct observation of public media in various locations in Medan City. The results show that language errors are generally caused by a lack of understanding of correct language rules, limited knowledge, and the use of everyday language mixed with colloquial or regional languages. The proposed solutions to address these issues are providing training for media creators, creating clearer language guidelines, and utilizing language technology for automatic spelling checks. The implications of this study are to raise public awareness about the importance of using proper and accurate Indonesian in public media, to support effective communication, and to avoid miscommunication.

This study explores the development of integrated language skills assessment instruments for Korean as a foreign language (KFL) learners in higher education, addressing the need for tools that reflect real-world communicative demands. Grounded in theoretical frameworks such as Bachman and Palmer's Communicative Language Ability model[1] and Vygotsky's Sociocultural Theory[2], the research employed a mixed-methods approach, including needs analysis[6], corpus studies, and pilot testing. The research process involved three primary phases: First, a comprehensive needs analysis was conducted among KFL instructors and students to identify assessment gaps and priorities. Second, authentic Korean language materials were collected to create a corpus that informed the development of contextualized assessment tasks. Finally, the instruments underwent rigorous pilot testing with 127 KFL students across three Indonesian universities. The developed assessment instruments integrate reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through task-based scenarios that mirror authentic Korean language use contexts. These include collaborative problem-solving activities, multimedia-based comprehension tasks, and culturally situated role-plays. Statistical analysis demonstrated high inter-rater reliability (r=0.87) and construct validity when compared with established Korean proficiency measures. Results demonstrated the instruments' reliability, validity, and cultural relevance, fostering holistic skill development and promoting positive washback on teaching and learning practices. Implementation of these instruments led to significant improvements in students' integrated language performance and motivation. The study contributes to the field of Korean language assessment by providing empirically validated tools that bridge classroom learning with real-world language application in higher education contexts.

This study examines the intersection of sentiment discourse in news texts and user comments on Facebook Detikcom, focusing on government policies during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research explores institutional discourse in news articles that align with government narratives, while user comments reflect a spectrum of responses, from support to opposition. Using qualitative content analysis, this study applies critical discourse analysis (CDA) and sentiment analysis to examine linguistic strategies, ideological framing, and sentiment polarity. The data were taken from news texts and the comment section on Facebook Detikcom, collected through documentation and following several stages of observation, careful reading, selection, and classification. The findings show that social media transforms news consumption into a participatory discourse. This indicates that traditional narratives are challenged and reinterpreted by users. Sentiment clustering and engagement metrics further shape the visibility and influence of competing ideologies. This study contributes to digital discourse research by demonstrating that sentiment functions as an ideological tool in crisis communication. The analysis also highlights the evolving role of social media in public discourse and emphasizes the need for critical engagement with online news narratives and user-generated content.

Marriage dispensation is a granting of marriage permit by the court to prospective husband and wife who are not yet 19 years old to get married. The granting of this permit has a significant impact on the rampant child marriage. Moreover, the author found a decision granting marriage dispensation on the grounds of having lived together for five months as stated in the Decision of the Larantuka PA/83/PDT.P/PA. LRT. From this background, the author is interested in finding out whether the granting of marriage dispensation on the grounds is in accordance with Islamic Law, the Marriage Law and the Child Protection Law or not. This study was conducted using a qualitative juridical method by examining library materials. The results of the study indicate that the granting of marriage dispensation on the grounds has not met the provisions of Islamic Law, the Marriage Law and the Child Protection Law. This is because there is still a lack of sufficient evidence to accept the application for marriage dispensation in the form of a health certificate and a mental age test to determine the health, both physically and mentally, of the child. Thus, the decision does not reflect the best interests of the child in the form of the right to health insurance for children.

Analysis of Factors Affecting Sailors' Satisfaction in the Online Seafarer Book Issuance Service at the KSOP Class III Tanjung Wangi Office. This study analyzes the factors that influence sailors' satisfaction in the Online Seafarer Book issuance service at the KSOP Class III Tanjung Wangi Office. The aim of this research is to explore the impact of Service Quality, Ease of Use, and Data Security, both individually and collectively, on ship operators' satisfaction. Although the hypothesis suggested an expected simultaneous relationship between the independent variables (Ease of Use, Service Quality, and Data Security) and the dependent variable (Sailors' Satisfaction), the research findings indicate that this relationship did not materialize. These findings require further analysis to identify factors that may have caused the discrepancy in results, such as the presence of unaccounted variables or the use of an inappropriate analytical model.

Economic globalization has increased the complexity of cross-border transactions, particularly in transfer pricing practices, which are often used by multinational companies to shift profits to lower-tax jurisdictions. While this strategy can legally reduce tax burdens, aggressive transfer pricing often leads to income distribution inequalities and reduced government tax revenues. On the other hand, tax planning using the Gross-Up method in Article 21 Income Tax has emerged as a more transparent alternative strategy that enhances employee welfare through company-covered tax incentives. This study analyzes the effectiveness of the Gross-Up method in managing tax obligations and its impact on economic fairness compared to transfer pricing practices. Using a qualitative approach based on case studies of companies in Indonesia, the study finds that implementing the Gross-Up method can improve tax compliance and employee loyalty, whereas uncontrolled transfer pricing poses a risk of reducing government tax revenues. Therefore, stricter and more transparent tax regulations are needed to mitigate the misuse of transfer pricing and encourage the adoption of fairer tax planning strategies.
