This study aims to describe the implementation of mathematics learning based on the Independent Curriculum at MAN 2 Kota Padang, focusing on teacher-student interaction and the overall effectiveness of the learning process. The observation covered three main phases: introductory, core, and closing activities. A phenomenological approach was applied using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Data were collected through direct classroom observations, interviews with mathematics teachers and students, as well as analysis of teaching documents. Instruments included Yes-No questionnaires, interview guidelines, and documentation review. The findings indicate that the learning process aligns with the principles of the Independent Curriculum, as reflected in the varied instructional strategies, active student engagement, and teacher readiness in applying learning modules. The effectiveness of learning was very high, with 95.21% in grade X and 92.99% in grade XI. Challenges included limited time and lack of participation from some students. Overall, the learning process fostered an active, meaningful environment that supports character development.

This study aims to describe the form and implementation of mathematics learning evaluation applied by teachers at SMA Negeri 12 Padang which is used in grades X and XI (Independent Curriculum). The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, compiled collaboratively through the KKG forum and have been adjusted to the academic calendar of the Ministry of Religion. The results of the study indicate that mathematics teachers in grades X and XI consistently apply diagnostic assessments (especially cognitive), formative assessments, summative assessments, affective evaluations, and cognitive. Based on the results of observations, the teaching tools achieved a success percentage of 96.67% in grades X and XI. This evaluation is adjusted to the characteristics of students at each level and is carried out through various strategies, ranging from providing trigger questions to participant observation and conceptual understanding. Follow-up such as remedial and enrichment are also provided according to student needs. The evaluation carried out has reflected the principle of holistic assessment by considering cognitive, affective aspects, and the achievement of learning objectives.

This article explores the strategies used by early childhood teachers at TK Pelangi in managing learning activities based on children’s needs and the outcomes of training programs they have attended. The main focus is on how teachers apply training outcomes into daily classroom practice while adjusting to each child's developmental stage and individual characteristics. At TK Pelangi, teachers plan learning activities by considering each child’s interests, talents, and specific needs. In practice, they create a dynamic, enjoyable, and contextual learning environment to help children better absorb the material. Training outcomes are used as a foundation to develop more innovative methods, media, and approaches. Continuous evaluation is carried out to assess the effectiveness of the strategies. The findings show that managing learning based on children's needs and training results significantly improves the quality of teaching interactions and positively contributes to the overall development of children at TK Pelangi.

Education is one of the fields that continuously evolves alongside the rapid  advancement  of technology. One effort to enhance the quality of education is by implementing a scientific approach in the learning process. This research aims to analyze the contribution of the scientific learning approach to the development of students' self-directed learning at SDN Semper Barat 11, especially in class V. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that lesson planning with a scientific approach is well executed, covering the setting of learning objectives, selection of learning models, strategies, learning media, and evaluation. The implementation of learning with a scientific approach in class V is carried out through activities such as observing, questioning, gathering information, reasoning, and communicating. The research also indicates that students experience an improvement in self-directed learning, characterized by active engagement in learning, high motivation, initiative-driven learning, and self-control. Thus, the scientific learning approach significantly contributes to the development of students' self-directed learning at SDN Semper Barat 11. This research provides valuable insights for educational practitioners in designing more effective learning strategies and offers empirical groundwork for enhancing learning methods oriented towards developing students' self-directed learning.

University students often face psychological challenges, one of which is anxiety, which can negatively affect learning and academic performance. This study aims to explore the anxiety experienced by students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting (KPI) Department at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, particularly during classroom presentations. A qualitative method was employed, using in-depth interviews with selected KPI students as participants. The findings reveal that anxiety is triggered by academic pressure, social expectations, and a lack of self-confidence. The impacts include reduced concentration, difficulty speaking in public, and challenges in expressing ideas. Despite these issues, students employ various coping strategies, such as thorough preparation, individual practice, and support from peers. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of a more supportive learning environment that considers students' mental well-being.

This research explores the implementation of dance and movement learning in early childhood education at TK Al-Jama’iyah. The study aims to examine the strategies used by teachers, children's participation, and the impact of the activities on child development. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through classroom observation, teacher interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the learning process emphasizes play-based approaches, utilizing songs, storytelling, movement props, and free expression. Teachers facilitated learning with patience and responsiveness, encouraging participation without coercion. The children actively engaged in the activities, showing increased confidence, creativity, and motor coordination. The study concludes that movement-based dance learning supports holistic development in early childhood and highlights the role of the teacher as a facilitator. This approach can serve as a model for similar institutions seeking to integrate arts-based education in a meaningful and developmentally appropriate way.

The rapid development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the field of education, including movement and dance learning for early childhood. In the context of Early Childhood Education (ECE), technology integration has been proven to enhance engagement, creativity, and cognitive development in children aged 5-6 years. This study aims to examine the extent of technology use in dance learning at RA Bunayya 2. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations and interviews with educators. The research findings indicate that technological tools such as projectors and digital screens enhance children's focus, participation, and creativity in dance activities. Additionally, various supporting technologies, including mobile phones, cameras, microphones, and projectors, are utilized to enrich the learning experience, making the educational process more interactive and engaging. However, challenges such as unstable internet connections and varying levels of concentration among children require careful implementation. This study highlights the importance of balancing technology use in ECE, ensuring that digital tools serve as a support rather than replacing conventional pedagogical approaches.

This qualitative study explores in-depth the perceptions of students at Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED) regarding the influence of educational technology (EdTech) on their learning effectiveness. Amidst the global digital transformation, the integration of digital tools in higher education has become a strategic need to improve the quality of learning. This study used an interpretive phenomenological approach, with semi-structured interviews with 18 undergraduate students from various faculties as the primary data collection method. Data were analyzed through thematic analysis to identify patterns and meanings. The results show that EdTech, through the SIPDA platform, improves accessibility of learning resources, schedule flexibility, and collaboration, but is still hampered by limitations in infrastructure, digital literacy, and pedagogical integration. This study provides contextual insights from Indonesia, with practical recommendations to improve the implementation of EdTech at UNIMED and similar institutions.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how the Problem-Based Learning paradigm is used in social studies classes at SMPN 37 Samarinda and to determine the elements that facilitate and hinder its adoption. This study focuses on the use of problem-based learning to help students improve their communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. It is hoped that by understanding how Problem-Based Learning is applied in social studies education, this study will help teachers optimize more creative and successful teaching strategies and assist in the creation of learning tactics that are more in line with the needs of contemporary students. The application of the Problem-Based Learning paradigm in social studies classes at SMPN 37 Samarinda was examined in this study using qualitative methodology. Data collection techniques included recording, interviews, and observations. The findings of the study indicate that the use of the problem-based learning paradigm in SMP Negeri 37 Samarinda in teaching social studies effectively develops students' capacity for critical, imaginative, and cooperative thinking. Problem-based learning has succeeded in encouraging active student involvement through problem-based learning stages, supported by a curriculum that is adaptive to student needs, adequate resources, trained teachers, and a conducive learning environment, although it still faces obstacles such as limited time, resources, and student motivation.

Pancasila Education is a compulsory subject taught at every level of education, from elementary to higher education, with the aim of shaping students’ attitudes and behaviors based on the values of Pancasila in their daily lives. This study aims to describe the teacher's strategies in implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to enhance students' critical thinking skills in the Pancasila Education subject for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 5 Penatih. The research focuses on three main aspects: (1) the implementation of PBL by teachers in improving students’ critical thinking in the topic "Pancasila as the Foundation of My Country", (2) the supporting and inhibiting factors in applying the PBL model, and (3) the implications of PBL implementation on the learning process and outcomes. This study employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the teacher’s strategy in applying PBL involves three key stages: planning (designing contextual and relevant problems), implementation (the teacher acting as a facilitator during group discussions), and evaluation (assessing students’ thinking processes). Supporting factors for the successful application of PBL include teacher competence, student motivation, a conducive learning environment, and curriculum support. On the other hand, limited instructional time and low student participation present challenges that need to be addressed. The implications of PBL implementation include enhanced critical thinking skills, improved collaboration abilities, and the development of student character as reflective, open-minded, and responsible individuals. Learning becomes more engaging, meaningful, and interactive as students are actively involved in solving real-life problems related to their everyday experiences.

This community service activity aims to optimize the understanding and skills of elementary school (SD) teachers in Tarik District in implementing innovative learning based on deep learning. The concept of deep learning in the context of education does not solely refer to the use of technology, but also includes a deep, reflective, and meaningful learning approach. Through this approach, teachers are expected to be able to create a learning environment that encourages students to think critically, creatively, and be able to collaborate effectively. This activity was attended by 34 elementary school teachers from eight schools in the Tarik District area. In addition to providing training related to deep learning concepts and strategies, such as project-based learning and problem-based learning, this activity also introduced the use of OLabs (Online Labs), which is a virtual laboratory platform that can be accessed for free and is specifically designed to support the implementation of online experimental learning. The use of OLabs provides an efficient and flexible alternative, especially for educational units that have limited laboratory facilities. Based on the results of the evaluation, there was a significant increase in teachers' understanding of innovative learning principles, as well as a commitment to implement the approach in an adaptive manner and in accordance with the context of each school. This activity is expected to be the starting point in efforts to strengthen the pedagogic capacity of teachers, in order to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and answer the challenges of 21st century education.

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education offers significant opportunities to transform learning processes, including in Catholic Religious Education (CRE) at the senior high school level. This article aims to identify effective and ethical strategies for integrating AI into CRE instruction by considering Catholic faith values and students’ character development. The study uses a qualitative literature review approach to analyze scholarly sources and current practices of AI application in education. Findings indicate that AI can enhance personalized learning, provide real-time feedback, and create more interactive and context-rich learning experiences. Practical implementations such as adaptive learning systems, chatbots, and AI-based simulations have shown positive impacts on students' comprehension. However, challenges including teacher readiness, technological infrastructure, and ethical concerns must be addressed seriously. Therefore, integrating AI in CRE must be done thoughtfully, responsibly, and in harmony with religious and moral contexts. With careful planning, AI can become a valuable tool to deepen students' faith understanding and support holistic character formation in the digital age.

This study aims to analyze the teacher's style in the SKI learning process at MTs Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah Tembung and its impact on learning effectiveness. The main focus of this study is to understand how the teaching style used by teachers affects students' participation and understanding in SKI lessons.This study uses a qualitative research method using observation methods, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The subjects of the study consisted of SKI teachers at MTs Al-Jam’iyatul Washliyah Tembung and students who participated in the SKI learning process. The results of this study indicate that the teaching styles of SKI teachers can be categorized into three main approaches, namely instructional, motivational, and adaptive. The instructional approach emphasizes providing clear techniques and strategies to ensure that students understand the material well. The motivational approach aims to encourage students' enthusiasm for learning, increase their involvement during learning, and inspire self-confidence. Meanwhile, the adaptive approach is used to adjust teaching methods to the needs and characteristics of each individual.

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) plays a crucial role in shaping the moral character of students at the elementary school level. However, learning methods used in IRE classrooms often remain conventional and teacher-centered, resulting in low student engagement and limited understanding of religious material. In response to the educational demands of the 21st century, a transformation in learning strategies is necessary. This study explores the implementation of active learning methods Card Sort, The Power of Two, and Snowballing as innovative approaches to revitalize IRE instruction. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were gathered through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and supporting documentation. The findings reveal that Card Sort enhances students’ ability to visually organize and connect religious concepts, The Power of Two facilitates deeper comprehension through peer discussion, and Snowballing promotes collaborative knowledge construction in stages. These methods contribute to a more interactive, student-centered, and meaningful learning process. Moreover, the integration of these strategies helps improve students' critical thinking, communication, and social-emotional skills while strengthening their internalization of Islamic values. Despite challenges such as instructional planning and classroom management, active learning techniques offer promising potential to transform IRE learning into a dynamic and participatory experience. The study provides practical recommendations for educators and school administrators to develop more effective and engaging IRE strategies.

This research was motivated by the importance of implementing the merdeka curriculum, which emphasizes character development through the  Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), particularly within the theme of local wisdom. Preliminary findings indicated that prior to the implementation of P5, students had limited understanding of social issues such as bullying, discrimination, and diversity. Therefore, appropriate teaching strategies are required to shape students’ character and enhance their social awareness The research questions addressed in this study are: (1) What strategies do teachers use to implement P5 material with the theme of local wisdom in Sociology learning for Grade X students at SMAN 1 Kalidawir? (2) What are the impacts of the applied strategies on the learning process? (3) What challenges do teachers face in implementing these strategies?. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research design. The aim is to explore the strategies used by teachers, their impacts on students, and the challenges encountered during the implementation of P5 materials. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of the study show that: (1) Teachers implemented project-based, collaborative, and contextual learning strategies that involved the local environment as a learning resource. (2) These strategies had a positive impact on students’ understanding of local cultural values and encouraged attitudes of tolerance and social awareness. (3) Challenges faced by teachers included limited time, varying levels of student motivation, and insufficient supporting facilities. Despite these obstacles, teachers strived to overcome them through collaboration, innovative learning approaches, and student-centered methods.

This study aims to examine the effect of interaction frequency among 2023 cohort Sharia Accounting students on the effectiveness of online learning. The research was motivated by the increasing implementation of online classes, especially during lecturer absences or national holidays. A quantitative approach was applied through a questionnaire distributed to students. Data were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and One Way ANOVA tests. The results indicate that although students showed a reasonable frequency of interaction, there was no significant effect on learning effectiveness. This suggests that interaction alone may not be the key factor in successful online learning. Other elements such as motivation, teaching methods, and learning environment may also play an important role. The study recommends that students engage more consistently in class and that lecturers develop more engaging and interactive online learning strategies.

This article explores strategic approaches in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) based on the values of the Qur'an and Hadith as a transformative effort to shape students’ character and personality grounded in divine principles. Using the library research method, this study identifies key components in IRE learning, such as the integration of values into learning objectives and materials, the exemplary role of teachers, the development of a spiritually conducive learning environment, and value-oriented evaluation methods. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of IRE learning is highly influenced by the alignment of value content, pedagogical strategies, and educational climate that supports the holistic internalization of Islamic values. By prioritizing humanistic, contextual, and spiritual approaches, Islamic education serves as a vital instrument in forming ideal individuals prepared to face modern challenges with moral integrity and religious commitment.

This study aims to examine the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in biology at SMA Negeri 1 Waigete. The objectives are: (1) to describe how the independent learning curriculum is applied in biology classes; (2) to identify the challenges teachers face during its implementation; and (3) to explore the strategies employed by teachers to overcome those challenges. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach, the research collects data through interviews, observations, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the principal, vice principal of curriculum, and biology teachers. Observations were made during the learning process in the classroom, while documentation included teaching modules and supporting articles. Data analysis was carried out in three stages: data coding, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that the independent learning curriculum in biology for Class X (Phase E) was implemented effectively, with teachers preparing KOSP, learning tools, and providing materials such as readings and videos. Teaching also considered local potential and involved both formative and summative assessments. However, several problems were identified, including limited facilities and infrastructure, lack of internet access, insufficient training, and some students lacking personal devices. Moreover, teachers experienced difficulty in selecting appropriate learning strategies to engage students effectively. To address these issues, teachers have participated in curriculum-related training and prepared printed materials and pre-downloaded videos for students without digital access. These efforts show a proactive approach to ensuring all students can benefit from the independent learning curriculum despite existing limitations.

Improving students' Biology learning outcomes is a major challenge in the learning process in high school, especially when the material taught is abstract and complex, such as the human digestive system. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Problem-Based learning model assisted by mind mapping in improving the learning outcomes and activities of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Each cycle involves planning, action execution, observation, and reflection activities, with data collection through observation, testing, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in learning activities and student learning outcomes. The average learning activity increased from 54.6% in the first cycle to 81% in the second cycle, while the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes increased from 59% to 88%. This increase is influenced by the active involvement of students in group discussions, visualisation of concepts through mind mapping, and the role of teachers as facilitators in problem-based learning. These findings indicate that the integration of the Problem-Based model with mind mapping is effective in building critical thinking skills, improving concept understanding, and encouraging active student participation. The implications of this study show the importance of implementing innovative learning strategies to improve the quality of Biology learning in secondary schools.

This study aims to examine the role of strategic leadership in realizing ethics and sustainable learning in educational settings. Through study literature analysis, this research investigates theories and findings related to strategic leadership in education and its integration with ethical principles. The findings of this study show that successful strategic leadership not only prioritizes the achievement of organizational goals, but also affirms ethical principles as the basis for decision-making and management of educational institutions. Leaders who uphold ethics can build a school environment that is fair, inclusive and transparent, and ensure the fulfillment of the rights of all parties involved. In addition, educational leaders must have a vision that encourages innovation in the learning process by strengthening the role of teachers, utilizing technology and updating the curriculum that is appropriate and relevant to today's challenges. Continuous learning focuses not only on academic achievement, but also on developing students' character, skills for the 21st century and social responsibility. In addition, far-sighted strategic leadership plays a crucial role in driving innovation in learning and the application of technology to meet global challenges and build a sustainable education system. This research contributes ideas for the development of a responsive, ethical and sustainability-focused educational leadership model.
