The teaching of Professional Ethics in the Culinary Arts Study Program is often delivered in a theoretical manner, make lack of contextual and reflective learning experiences for students. This study aims to develop and evaluate an interactive pocket book as a learning medium to support students' understanding of ethical values in real culinary work settings. The research employed the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), with data collected through observation, interviews, expert validation, practicality questionnaires, and pretest–posttest design. The study was conducted over three months at Universitas Negeri Medan. Validation results indicated that the media was highly feasible in terms of content, layout, and language. Practicality testing showed that students found the media very practical, while the effectiveness test revealed an improvement in learning outcomes with a gain score of 0.60 (moderate to high category). These findings demonstrate that the interactive pocket book is effective in promoting ethical learning that is contextual, reflective, and applicable. The media is recommended for integration into learning strategies focused on values and professional attitudes and is suggested for further development into digital formats to enhance flexibility and wider accessibility.

Pastoral ministry is a divine calling that demands faithfulness, vigilance, and wholehearted love in caring for God’s flock. However, in the reality of ministry, many church shepherds face complex and burdensome challenges in fulfilling this responsibility. A failure to understand and implement authority based on the character of Christ often becomes the root problem in pastoral ministry. This study aims to explore the dynamics of pastoral ministry in the context of today’s church, particularly in light of 1 Peter 5:1–4. The approach used is qualitative descriptive, based on a literature review, with a focus on relevant theological and pastoral works. The findings reveal that many pastors experience spiritual and emotional exhaustion, especially when their ministry lacks support from an adequate organizational structure, or when the congregation’s expectations are misaligned with the church’s mission. In this context, true shepherding—as explained by figures such as Bill Lawrence and Phil Pringle—must be rooted in Christ as the Head of the Church. A pastor is called to serve with humility, not to dominate or pursue personal interests. Furthermore, a deep understanding of the biblical metaphor concerning the relationship between shepherd and sheep is essential to avoid distortions in meaning and deviant ministry practices. An emphasis on love, responsibility, and exemplary conduct becomes the foundational framework for building an integrous pastoral ministry. This study concludes that pastoral ministry will be more effective when supported by clear church organizational policies, a deep theological foundation, and pure ministry motivations. Thus, pastoral ministry is not merely an administrative task, but a manifestation of God's love expressed through the lives of His servants.

Final year students often experience difficulties in adapting to career and life demands, as well as maintaining their well-being. This study aims to examine the influence of social support and self-efficacy on life satisfaction and career adaptability among final-year students. Quantitative data were collected from 155 students in their final year of study and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results showed that social support did not affect the career adaptability of final-year students. Conversely, self-efficacy had a positive effect on career adaptability. Social support was found to have a positive impact on students' life satisfaction. Students who received social support from family, friends, and educational institutions tended to have higher levels of life satisfaction. Self-efficacy also positively affected life satisfaction, indicating that high self-confidence enhances individual well-being. However, life satisfaction did not significantly influence career adaptability, suggesting that other factors such as work experience and environmental support play a more significant role. This study has several limitations, including a limited sample size and potential respondent bias. Future research should involve larger and more diverse samples and employ a variety of data collection methods. Educational institutions are encouraged to develop programs that enhance self-efficacy and social support to help students reach their full potential in their careers and personal lives.

This study aims to systematically examine the influence of transformational leadership and organizational culture on nurses' performance in hospitals. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a qualitative approach. The findings indicate that transformational leadership has a significant impact on improving nurses’ performance, particularly through enhanced work motivation, job satisfaction, loyalty, and team effectiveness. Transformational leaders inspire nurses by providing a vision, encouraging innovation, and fostering a supportive environment that aligns with their values and goals. As a result, nurses exhibit increased commitment to their work, higher engagement levels, and a proactive attitude toward their tasks, leading to better overall performance. Organizational culture also plays a crucial role, especially values such as collaboration, human orientation, and integrity, which have been shown to support a positive work environment and nurse productivity. A culture that prioritizes teamwork, shared responsibility, and mutual respect enables nurses to work more cohesively and efficiently. Hospitals with a supportive and inclusive culture experience reduced turnover rates and higher job satisfaction, as nurses feel valued and respected within the organization. Additionally, when the culture encourages continuous learning and professional development, nurses are more likely to stay updated on best practices and provide high-quality care to patients. However, differences in findings across studies suggest the need for contextual understanding and consistent internalization of cultural values. Factors such as geographical location, hospital size, and leadership styles may influence the degree of impact that transformational leadership and organizational culture have on nurse performance. Therefore, it is essential to adapt leadership strategies and cultural initiatives to the unique needs and challenges of each healthcare setting.

Technicians in radiology departments are continuously exposed to ionizing radiation, which can affect biological systems. This study aimed to investigate the effects of low-level ionizing radiation (IR) on antioxidant enzymes and blood components in radiology personnel. The study involved forty participants aged 30 to 45 years, divided into three groups: G1 as the control group (n=10), G2 consisting of 15 radiologists, and G3 comprising 15 radiology technology workers. Participants in G2 and G3 had work experience ranging from 5 to 15 years and were employed in X-ray and CT scan departments at General K1 Hospital, Kirkuk. The measured parameters included white blood cells (WBCs), platelets, and lymphocytes, as well as malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), total antioxidant capacity (TAC), and albumin as indicators of redox status. The results showed a significant increase in MDA levels among radiology workers compared to the control group, while SOD, TAC, and albumin levels decreased (P<0.05). Additionally, radiation-exposed workers had a higher mean count of WBCs and lymphocytes than the control group (P<0.05), whereas platelet levels were significantly lower (P<0.05). This study indicates that occupational radiation exposure can cause short-term changes in blood cells and increase the circulating redox state in healthcare workers operating in CT and IR environments compared to those not exposed to radiation. These findings highlight the importance of regular health monitoring for radiology personnel to mitigate potential long-term effects of radiation exposure.

Excessive workload can cause work stress among nurses, impacting their performance and the quality of healthcare services. Nurses in inpatient wards often experience this due to high job demands and a large number of patients. This study aims to analyze the relationship between workload and work stress levels among nurses in the inpatient ward of RSI Sultan Agung Semarang. This quantitative research employed a correlational design. A total of 100 nurses from the inpatient ward of RSI Sultan Agung Semarang were selected using total sampling. Data were obtained from a questionnaire measuring physical and psychological workload aspects and work stress indicators such as emotional exhaustion and decreased personal accomplishment. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The majority of respondents (82.8%) had a moderate workload, while most (76.8%) experienced moderate work stress. Bivariate analysis indicated a significant relationship between workload and work stress levels (< 0.05). A high workload significantly contributes to boost work stress levels among nurses in the inpatient ward of RSI Sultan Agung Semarang.
