This study discusses the influence of six fraud hexagon models: pressure, opportunity, rationalization, capability, arrogance, and collusion on fraudulent financial reporting (FFR) practices in the Indonesia banking sector. In addition, this study analyzes the role of corporate governance mechanisms measured by the audit committee, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership as moderating variables. The sample consists of 43 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2023 period, with a total of 172 observations. Data analysis was conducted using WarpPLS 8.0. The results indicate that rationalization, capability, and arrogance have a significant positive effect on FFR, while pressure, opportunity, and collusion show no significant effect. The audit committee, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership also do not have a direct effect on FFR. However, these three variables act as moderators: the audit committee moderates the relationship between collusion on FFR, managerial ownership moderates the relationship between capability on FFR, while institutional ownership moderates the relationship between pressure and opportunity on FFR. This finding emphasizes the importance of effective corporate governance as an instrument to reduce the risk of FFR in the banking sector.

This research explores how transformational leadership, work environment, and workload affect the organizational commitment of the Kebumen Regency Education, Youth, and Sports Office. This census-based quantitative study used a sample of 120 respondents, and data were collected through questionnaires. Validity, reliability, and classical assumptions were tested before the analysis. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using SPSS 26 to test the relationships between variables. The findings reveal that transformational leadership does not have a significant effect on organizational commitment. On the other hand, an excellent work environment greatly enhances employee welfare and has a substantial positive impact on organizational commitment. Workload is also found to positively affect organizational commitment, as a proportional workload encourages higher levels of employee accountability. Together, these three independent variables explain 55.4% of the variance in organizational commitment, with other factors accounting for the remaining portion. The study concludes that improving the work environment and managing workload effectively are key factors in increasing organizational commitment.

This study aims to examine how profits and company size affect tax avoidance in energy companies listed on the stock exchange between 2022 and 2024. This study applies a quantitative approach using secondary data from annual financial reports. The population data was taken from 18 energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while the sample selection was conducted using purposive sampling. The main phenomenon affecting the test results is the existence of incentives for highly profitable companies to engage in tax avoidance due to the potential for more significant tax savings. In addition, large companies usually have more resources and complex organizational structures, which give them more opportunities to carry out innovative and aggressive tax planning. It is hoped that this study can offer a fresh understanding of tax avoidance practices in the energy sector in Indonesia. The impact of this study is important for authorities to understand the relationship between corporate profitability, entity size, and tax avoidance practices, especially in the energy sector, which plays a strategic role. This understanding can assist in formulating more appropriate taxation policies to maintain economic stability and fiscal justice. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on business entities in the energy sector listed on the Stock Exchange from 2022 to 2024, which is a dynamic period marked by global commodity price fluctuations, changes in energy policy, and significant geopolitical challenges.

This research explores the impact of stock returns, financial literacy, and risk perception on investment decisions among Generation Z investors who use the Ajaib application in Indonesia. The study is driven by the increasing involvement of young digital investors and the growing importance of financial knowledge, risk awareness, and return expectations in shaping their behavior. A total of 250 respondents were surveyed, and the data were processed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that stock returns (β = 0.436, p < 0.001), financial literacy (β = 0.429, p < 0.001), and risk perception (β = 0.209, p = 0.002) each exert a positive and significant influence on investment decisions. The model explains 68% of the variance in investment decisions (R² = 0.626), confirming the robustness of the proposed framework. These results suggest that Gen Z investors with higher financial literacy, stronger risk awareness, and favorable return expectations are more likely to make confident and deliberate investment choices. The study contributes theoretically to behavioral finance literature and provides practical insights for improving financial literacy programs, enhancing investor education, and designing fintech features that foster trust. The findings can also inform policymakers in creating targeted initiatives to encourage responsible investment behavior among younger generations in Indonesia.

The study aims to investigate how corporate governance impacts sustainability report disclosure in mining companies that are listed between 2021 and 2024 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The proportion of independent board members, the number of audit committee meetings held, and the level of managerial ownership are used to evaluate corporate governance. Using secondary data from the companies' official websites, a quantitative research approach is used. Purposive sampling was applied to select the sample from an initial population of 198 firms, based on two criteria: (1) being in the mining industry and listed on the IDX during the designated timeframe, and (2) regularly publishing sustainability and annual reports. By applying these criteria, a sample of 47 businesses was obtained, producing 188 observations in total.  Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data using SPSS version 25. The results of the partial test show that while the percentage of independent board commissioners has no discernible effect on sustainability report disclosure, the frequency of audit committee meetings and managerial ownership have a significant and positive impact. These findings demonstrate how important internal ownership and an active audit function are to raising the standard of sustainability accountability and transparency.

In the context of accelerating global economic volatility, organizations are increasingly required to adopt agile business models that enable them to remain competitive and resilient. Although business agility has been extensively discussed from structural and technological perspectives, the strategic role of Human Resources (HR) in shaping agile organizations and addressing the future of work remains insufficiently explored. This study aims to examine how HR contributes to organizational adaptability and resilience in uncertain environments by aligning human capital practices with agile frameworks. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through surveys and semi-structured interviews with HR leaders and employees in industries most exposed to economic disruption, including finance, technology, and manufacturing. The findings reveal four critical dimensions of HR’s role: workforce flexibility achieved through reskilling initiatives and adaptive work arrangements; agile leadership development to enhance decision-making under uncertainty; prioritization of employee well-being and engagement as foundations of organizational resilience; and digital HR transformation leveraging analytics and artificial intelligence to strengthen efficiency and collaboration. These findings validate and extend the existing literature, demonstrating that HR is not merely a supporting or administrative function but a strategic driver of agility. The study concludes that by embedding HR strategies into organizational agility frameworks, companies can better navigate economic turbulence, enhance workforce adaptability, and secure long-term competitiveness in the global market.

The global economy is increasingly marked by volatility, uncertainty, and disruption, compelling organizations to adopt business agility as a means of survival and competitiveness. Conventional agility emphasizes speed, responsiveness, and innovation, yet often lacks the ethical foundation required for long-term sustainability. In contrast, Islamic economic thought, guided by Maqasid al-Shariah—the preservation of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth—prioritizes justice, fairness, and social responsibility in economic activities. This study analyzes how the principles of Maqasid can be aligned with business agility to form an ethically grounded and adaptive business model. Employing a qualitative research design with a library research approach, the study synthesizes insights from existing literature on agility, Islamic economics, and Maqasid through thematic content analysis. The findings indicate that while agility strengthens resilience and competitiveness, it requires Maqasid as a moral compass to ensure value-driven adaptability. The integration of agility and Maqasid creates a synergy that enables Islamic enterprises not only to withstand global turbulence but also to differentiate themselves as ethical, sustainable, and competitive actors in the global market. This research therefore proposes a Shariah-compliant agility model that balances responsiveness with ethical accountability, offering theoretical contributions to academic discourse and practical implications for Islamic financial institutions, halal industries, and Shariah-based SMEs. The study also highlights the role of policymakers in developing supportive frameworks that foster innovation while safeguarding Shariah compliance. Overall, the study underscores that agility guided by Maqasid is not merely a survival strategy but a pathway to global leadership in ethical and sustainable business practices.

APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) have become a key component in the development of modern digital products and the transformation of cloud-based services. Its ability to provide structured access to data and enable cross-platform integration makes APIs at the core of the enterprise's digital architecture. However, the high level of API openness poses increasingly complex security challenges, including potential data exploitation, injection attacks, credential misuse, and exploitation of business logic loopholes. This article examines the strategic role of APIs in the digital ecosystem, analyzes the operational risks that arise from API exposure, and evaluates the effectiveness of basic defense mechanisms such as API Gateways and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs). The findings of the study show that while both solutions play an important role in controlling access, filtering, and mitigating attacks at the surface layer, they have not been able to provide comprehensive protection against modern API threats that are dynamic, distributed, and often exploit weaknesses at the application and business logic levels. Therefore, a more holistic, layered, and sustainable API security approach is needed, including anomalous behavior detection, API abuse protection, and real-time monitoring to maintain the integrity and reliability of digital services.

The process of signing on and off a seafarer's book for ship crew is a vital stage in the shipping world that requires thorough preparation and orderly implementation to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the ship. Signing on a seafarer's book involves recording and confirming the date and location of boarding the ship in the seafarer's book, which serves as official proof that the document holder has joined the ship's crew. Generally, this stage is accompanied by the preparation of a Seafarer's Employment Agreement (PKL) containing salary details and obtaining approval from the Harbor Master. Conversely, sign off is a procedure carried out when the work contract period in the PKL ends, or earlier for certain reasons such as late salary payments or discomfort in the work. The purpose of this study is to identify the obstacles that arise in the process of managing the sign-on/off of seafarer's crew books at PT. Baruna Mitra Segara Lines, Bandar Lampung. In compiling this paper, the author applies two approaches, namely the field observation method (field study) and the library study method. Both methods are used to gain a comprehensive understanding of the mechanism for managing the sign-on/off of seafarer's books, while also identifying the obstacles that arise so that the company can maximize the process. The research findings reveal that there are obstacles in the implementation of the sign-on/off of seafarer's books that are not fully in accordance with procedures. However, this process still has a positive and significant impact on the efficiency of the departure time of ship crews. This finding confirms that improving procedures and enforcing operational standards are key to improving the quality of document management services at PT. Baruna Mitra Segara Lines
