Restorative Justice in the Perspective of Modern Criminal Law: Challenges and Regulatory Reforms in Indonesia by a retributive approach that emphasizes punishing the offender as a form of retribution. However, this approach is considered unable to provide comprehensive justice, especially for the victims, and is not effective in resolving the social conflicts caused by criminal acts. Therefore, the concept of restorative justice has emerged as a new paradigm that emphasizes the restoration of victim losses, the responsibility of the perpetrator, and community involvement in the resolution of cases. This research aims to analyze the concept and theoretical foundations of restorative justice, its implementation in the criminal justice system in Indonesia, as well as the challenges and the need for regulatory renewal. The research method used is normative legal research with a legislative and conceptual approach, supported by secondary data as the main source. The research results show that restorative justice has been regulated in various sectoral regulations, such as Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021, Attorney General Regulation Number 15 of 2020, Law Number 11 of 2012, and Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2024. However, the regulations are still partial and not integrated into a comprehensive legal framework, leading to differences in understanding and application among law enforcement officials. Therefore, the establishment of a specific law on restorative justice is necessary to ensure legal certainty, uniform application, and to create a more humane, just, and recovery-oriented criminal justice system.

Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami pelaksanaan pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) sebagai upaya meningkatkan pemahaman nilai-nilai Pancasila pada siswa kelas 5A di SDN 1 Bendogerit Kota Blitar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pentingnya pendidikan karakter berlandaskan Pancasila dalam membentuk generasi berakhlak, disiplin, dan bertanggung jawab di tengah tantangan globalisasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode wawancara terpusat dan observasi langsung terhadap guru serta proses pembelajaran. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru berperan aktif sebagai teladan dalam membentuk nilai disiplin, tanggung jawab, kerja sama, sopan santun, dan kejujuran siswa. Penguatan nilai Pancasila juga didukung budaya sekolah melalui program pagi rutin dan kegiatan literasi berkelanjutan. Faktor pendukung utama ialah keteladanan guru dan lingkungan yang kondusif, sedangkan tantangan meliputi kebutuhan siswa yang beragam serta keterbatasan sarana digital. This study aims to understand the implementation of Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) as an effort to enhance students’ understanding of Pancasila values among fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Bendogerit, Blitar City. The research is motivated by the importance of character education based on Pancasila in shaping a generation that is virtuous, disciplined, and responsible amid the challenges of globalization. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using focused interviews and direct classroom observations involving teachers and the learning process. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing systematically. The results indicate that teachers play an active role as role models in cultivating students’ values of discipline, responsibility, cooperation, politeness, and honesty. The reinforcement of Pancasila values is also supported by the school culture through regular morning programs and continuous literacy activities. The main supporting factors include teacher exemplarity and a conducive school environment, while challenges involve diverse student needs and limited digital learning facilities.

Pendidikan tidak hanya berfokus pada kemampuan akademik, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter siswa, salah satunya melalui sikap saling menghargai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembentukan karakter siswa melalui pembiasaan sikap saling menghargai di kelas IV SDN 1 Kepanjenlor serta dampaknya terhadap hubungan antar siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek guru dan 18 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa telah menunjukkan sikap saling menghargai melalui perilaku sopan, saling membantu, dan berbagi dengan teman. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa siswa yang perlu meningkatkan kemampuan mendengarkan dan menghargai pendapat teman.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran permainan tradisional dalam pembentukan karakter siswa sekolah dasar di Jawa Tengah melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Kajian dilakukan dengan mengacu pada tahapan PRISMA yang meliputi identifikasi, penyaringan, kelayakan, dan inklusi artikel. Penelusuran literatur menggunakan aplikasi Publish or Perish dengan basis data Google Scholar pada rentang tahun 2016-2026, sehingga diperoleh 10 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional seperti engklek, gobak sodor, egrang, bakiak, dan congklak berkontribusi dalam menumbuhkan nilai kerja sama, empati, tanggung jawab, disiplin, ketekunan, serta kemampuan mengendalikan diri. Permainan yang dilakukan secara berkelompok cenderung memperkuat karakter sosial, sedangkan permainan individual lebih menekankan pada pembentukan karakter personal. Temuan-temuan tersebut membuka ruang pengembangan penelitian lanjutan dengan pendekatan metodologis yang lebih beragam serta penguatan integrasi permainan tradisional sebagai media pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal di sekolah dasar.

PPKn di sekolah dasar berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan kesadaran kewarganegaraan peserta didik sejak dini. Namun, dalam praktiknya guru menghadapi berbagai hambatan yang memengaruhi optimalisasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hambatan dan tantangan implementasi pembelajaran PPKn di kelas IV SD Negeri Gaprang 01. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru kelas IV dan 18 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berjalan cukup baik dan memperoleh respons positif siswa, khususnya pada aspek sikap dan pemahaman nilai kewarganegaraan. Tantangan utama meliputi penyampaian materi abstrak, perbedaan kemampuan akademik, serta keberagaman latar belakang sosial-ekonomi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penggunaan media konkret, strategi diferensiasi, serta pendekatan pembelajaran yang adaptif dan inklusif.

This study aims to explore the practice of Buddhist marriage in the Semarang Regency, which is carried out alongside traditions and local wisdom. The research employs a qualitative approach using a cultural anthropology method to examine the influence of Javanese beliefs on the wedding rituals of Buddhist communities in the Semarang Regency area. Data were collected through the review of relevant literature and interviews with selected informants, chosen based on their background and expertise related to the research topic. The collected data were then analyzed in depth to identify the values of local wisdom within Javanese society that coexist harmoniously with Buddhist wedding ceremonies. The findings indicate that Buddhist marriage in Semarang Regency is not merely a legal recognition of union between two individuals entering married life, but also represents a socio-cultural phenomenon reflecting processes of adaptation and negotiation between religious teachings and local cultural values. Buddhist communities in Semarang Regency conduct marriage ceremony according to Buddhist religious traditions combined with Javanese practices. The religious ceremony is performed at a temple and led by a Romo Pandita, and the the wedding ceremonies continue according to Javanese culture. Javanese beliefs remain strongly influential, shaping various stages of marriage, from partner selection and proposal rituals to ceremonial practices during the wedding. Beliefs related to weton calculations, auspicious days, slametan rituals, the preparation of sesajen, and ceremonial elements within wedding receptions continue to maintain their place amid the dynamics of modern society.

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes pada Tingkuluak patiak di Nagari Cupak. Latar belakang berlandaskan pada pentingnya pelestarian nilai budaya Minangkabau yang muncul dalam pakaian adat tradisional yakni tingkuluak patiak ditinjau dari segi bentuk, bahan, warna, dan motif sebagai simbol identitas perempuan khususnya bundo kanduang. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengungkap makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos yang terkandung serta menjelaskan fungsi simboliknya dalam prosesi pernikahan di Nagari Cupak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan, wawancara, disertai dengan catatan lapangan terkait tingkuluak patiak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa denotasi dari tingkuluak patiak merupakan penutup kepala yang digunakan oleh perempuan memiliki bentuk seperti kipas dengan lima lipatan mengembang di sisi kanan dan kiri terbuat dari kain lame kemudian diberi kanji agar tampak kokoh. Secara konotasi berdasarkan pada bentuk lipatan yang ada di tingkuluak patiak mencerminkan simbol identitas masyarakat dengan adanya lima suku yang mendiami wilayah Nagari Cupak. Mitosnya, tingkuluak patiak dimaknai sebagai ideologi yang hidup dalam masyarakat dengan adanya penghormatan terhadap leluhur yang dianggap oleh masyarakat setempat. Tingkuluak patiak digunakan hanya saat menjalani prosesi pernikahan yang berfungsi sebagai penanda status dan kehormatan serta menegaskan peran bagi mande rubiah dan bundo kanduang di Nagari Cupak.

Literasi membaca merupakan kompetensi dasar yang penting dalam mendukung perkembangan akademik murid sekolah dasar, namun kemampuan membaca pemahaman, khususnya pada tingkat kalimat sederhana, masih menjadi permasalahan di berbagai satuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peningkatan gerakan literasi membaca pemahaman melalui buku cerita dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca kalimat sederhana pada murid kelas III SD Inpres Anduam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimen tipe one-group pretest–posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 9 murid kelas III yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan membaca kalimat sederhana sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji paired samples t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan kemampuan membaca murid, ditandai dengan kenaikan skor rata-rata dari 58,22 pada pretest menjadi 78,56 pada posttest (p < 0,05). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa gerakan literasi membaca pemahaman berbasis buku cerita efektif dalam membantu murid memahami struktur dan makna kalimat sederhana. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan gerakan literasi membaca pemahaman secara berkelanjutan sebagai strategi pembelajaran membaca di sekolah dasar.

Pendidikan karakter menjadi fokus penting dalam dunia pendidikan karena meningkatnya tantangan moral peserta didik di era globalisasi dan digitalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah menengah, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasinya, serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap perkembangan moral peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di SMK Plus Al-Ghifari. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru Bimbingan dan Konseling, wali kelas, dan siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur, observasi, dan analisis dokumen sekolah, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter telah diintegrasikan dalam proses pembelajaran dan budaya sekolah, dengan dukungan utama berupa kepedulian guru, kerja sama dengan orang tua, serta inisiatif peserta didik. Namun, implementasi masih menghadapi kendala seperti pengaruh lingkungan sosial, keterlibatan keluarga yang belum optimal, ketidakkonsistenan ketegasan pendidik, dan kesulitan adaptasi peserta didik baru. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan sinergi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan lingkungan untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan dan efektivitas pendidikan karakter.

Preferensi bermain anak-anak di era digital cenderung beralih ke permainan digital sehingga permainan tradisional seperti congkak mulai ditinggalkan. Sebagai upaya pelestarian, permainan congkak dialihwahanakan ke bentuk digital, salah satunya melalui aplikasi Congkak di Google Play Store. Namun, congkak digital menghadirkan pengalaman dan aturan bermain yang berbeda dari congkak tradisional yang berdampak pada pewarisan nilai dan fungsi budaya congkak tradisional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik dokumentasi dan observasi partisipatif serta diolah dengan analisis komparatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Congkak tidak sepenuhnya mewariskan unsur nilai dan fungsi budaya permainan congkak tradisional. Aplikasi Congkak memberikan rasa senang dan bebas serta mewariskan fungsi permainan congkak untuk melatih keuletan, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan berhitung anak.  Ketika aplikasi dimainkan berdua, unsur nilai yang diwariskan meliputi nilai demokrasi (musyawarah dan kejujuran), nilai sosial (kemampuan berkomunikasi, bersosialisasi, serta menghadapi dan memecahkan masalah), dan nilai kesatria (sportivitas, rendah hati, lapang dada, dan tenggang rasa).  Namun, ketika aplikasi dimainkan sendiri, unsur nilai-nilai tersebut tidak terwariskan. Meskipun inovasi ini relevan dengan era digital, peneliti berharap pengembang dapat memperbarui aplikasi dengan mempertimbangkan pewarisan nilai dan fungsi budaya congkak tradisional. Dengan demikian,  nilai dan fungsi congkak tradisional yang terwariskan bisa lebih banyak.

Land tenure through certificates as valid proof of rights had been recognized, yet in practice damaged certificates still caused administrative obstacles at the BPN of Tabanan Regency. The objective of this research was to analyze the mechanism of replacing damaged Certificates of Ownership and to identify the inhibiting factors in the process. This research used an empirical legal method (socio-legal research) with statutory, conceptual, and factual approaches. Data were collected through interviews with officials at the Tabanan Land Office and literature studies from legal documents and academic sources. The findings showed that the replacement mechanism started with application submission, data matching with the land book, a 30-day public announcement period, field verification including re-measurement if physical data could not be read, and issuance of a replacement certificate directed toward an electronic system. The study also found that the main inhibiting factors included administrative constraints, incomplete documents, unclear legal subjects, potential land disputes, low public understanding, and limited digitalization. These findings indicated that although the mechanism had been regulated, its implementation still faced obstacles affecting legal certainty and service effectiveness. This research implied the need to improve services, legal awareness, and digital transformation.

This study explores the development strategies of sweet pastry Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) based on Islamic economic principles in improving the local economy in Betungan, Bengkulu City. MSMEs play a crucial role in supporting economic growth and creating employment opportunities, particularly in the culinary sector, which has experienced significant expansion in recent years. In Betungan, sweet pastry businesses have shown promising potential; however, their development is still hindered by several challenges, including limited capital, low product innovation, and less effective marketing practices. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation at Jl. Ar-Rahman, Sepakat 7, Betungan, Selebar District, Bengkulu City. The study also considers the application of Islamic business values, emphasizing ethical conduct such as honesty, fairness, accountability, and the avoidance of riba and uncertainty in transactions. The findings indicate that the sustainability and competitiveness of sweet pastry MSMEs can be enhanced through several key strategies, including continuous product innovation, improving product quality, optimizing digital marketing, and strengthening business networks. In addition, integrating Islamic principles into business operations helps build consumer trust and ensures ethical business practices. Overall, these strategies not only improve business performance but also contribute to strengthening the local economy and community welfare.

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes to the criminal justice system, particularly in criminal investigations and evidentiary processes, while simultaneously raising complex legal and ethical challenges. Objective: This study aims to analyze the legal implications of the use of AI in criminal investigations, focusing on its benefits, risks, and challenges related to the admissibility of AI-based evidence, as well as the need for regulatory frameworks that ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability. Methods: This research employs a normative qualitative approach through the analysis of legal regulations, a review of legal and technological literature, and a comparative approach across jurisdictions, complemented by case studies of AI applications in law enforcement practices. Results: The findings indicate that AI enhances investigative efficiency through data analysis, crime prediction, and digital forensics; however, it also poses risks such as algorithmic bias, human rights violations, and issues concerning the reliability and transparency of evidence. Furthermore, differences across legal systems result in the absence of uniform standards for the admissibility of AI-based evidence. Therefore, adaptive regulatory frameworks grounded in the principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability are required, along with strengthened human oversight to ensure that the use of AI aligns with the principles of justice and human rights protection.

Communication within the family, especially between parents and children, is an important foundation for the development of a child's personality, emotions, and social skills. The purpose of this writing is to identify the types of parental communication styles, analyze the factors that influence them, examine their impact on child development, and provide practical recommendations to improve the effectiveness of communication patterns within the family. The method used in writing this paper is a literature study. The discussion results show that there are three main types of parental communication styles: permissive, authoritarian, and democratic. The permissive style tends to give the child unlimited freedom, the authoritarian style emphasizes control and obedience, while the democratic style encourages openness and mutual respect. The choice of communication style is influenced by various factors such as educational background, culture, past experiences, and the socio-economic conditions of parents. Each communication style has a different impact on the emotional, social, and cognitive development of children. The democratic style is considered the most effective in optimally supporting child development. This article provides recommendations to parents to increase knowledge about dialogical-based parenting, practice assertive communication skills, give children space to express their opinions, and build a family culture that is open and mutually respectful.

This reseach aims to analyze the role of an innovative deep learning-based instructional model in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and active engagement during classroom learning processes. The rapid development of educational technology currently demands continuous innovation in instructional practices, particularly to improve teacher quality and professionalism in addressing the challenges of the 21st century. To achieve this objective, this research employed a qualitative method with a literature review approach. Data were collected through a systematic review of various national journals, international journals, books, and relevant scholarly sources published within the last ten years. The findings indicate that the implementation of a deep learning-based instructional model can significantly enhance teachers’ creativity in designing instructional strategies, strengthen the effectiveness of the learning process, and improve the quality of teacher-student interaction. Furthermore, this approach encourages teachers to become more adaptive to digital technological advancements and more responsive to the diversity of students’ needs and learning styles. Therefore, the deep learning-based instructional model can serve as a strategic and sustainable solution for improving teachers’ professional practices in the modern education era.

This study aims to develop a Puzzle Book learning media for the topic of angle measurement and to examine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness for third-grade elementary school students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model and involved 26 third-grade students as participants. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and learning achievement tests, which were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed that the Puzzle Book obtained a validity score of 98.0% from media experts and 100% from material experts, both categorized as highly valid. Student responses reached 100%, indicating that the media is highly practical and engaging. Furthermore, the analysis of learning outcomes revealed a gain score of 0.9187 in the high category, demonstrating that the Puzzle Book effectively improves students’ problem-solving abilities in angle measurement. Overall, the Puzzle Book learning media is highly feasible, practical, and effective for classroom implementation, as its interactive design and alignment with third-grade learning characteristics help students understand angle concepts more concretely, enjoyably, and meaningfully.

Adolescence is a transitional period marked by rapid biological, psychological, and social changes, which often lead to various problems for individuals, particularly at the high school level. This study aims to analyze the role of guidance and counseling services in addressing these issues using a literature review approach. The method employed is a systematic literature review of relevant scientific publications from 2020 to 2026. The data collection process was carried out through the search, selection, and evaluation of literature related to student issues and guidance and counseling services in schools. The research findings indicate that students face various challenges, such as difficulties in learning, low academic ability, academic stress and anxiety, as well as social-emotional issues influenced by internal and external factors. Guidance and counseling services play a role in supporting students to self-reflect, overcome problems, and optimize their potential through preventive, curative, and developmental approaches. The success of these services is also supported by the role of counselors, collaboration with other teachers, and parental participation. However, in practice, there are still a number of obstacles, such as limited human resources, a lack of coordination, and an incomplete understanding of the functions of these services. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve implementation and cooperation so that guidance and counseling services can operate more efficiently.

This study is motivated by the suboptimal use of intelligence tests in guidance and counseling services in schools, despite their important role in understanding students’ cognitive abilities as a basis for providing appropriate services. This study aims to examine the utilization of intelligence tests in guidance and counseling services to support the optimization of students’ academic development. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach through the analysis of 25 relevant scientific articles published between 2022 and 2026, using content analysis techniques. The results indicate that intelligence tests play an important role in identifying cognitive abilities, supporting the planning of guidance and counseling services, assisting in academic decision-making, and guiding interventions for students’ learning difficulties. In addition, intelligence is also related to academic achievement, although it is influenced by other factors such as motivation and the learning environment. However, the findings also reveal a gap between the theoretical potential of intelligence test utilization and its implementation in practice, which still faces limitations, particularly in the integration of assessment results and the accuracy of interpretation. The implications of this study highlight the need to improve counselors’ competence in the use of psychological assessments and to optimize the systematic use of test results in order to support more effective guidance and counseling services in developing students’ academic potential.

Management psychology is a crucial aspect in enhancing learning effectiveness and improving the performance of educational institutions in the face of contemporary educational challenges. This approach emphasizes the role of psychological factors such as motivation, leadership, communication, and organizational culture in supporting effective educational management. This study aims to examine the role of management psychology in improving educational quality and to explore how psychological aspects contribute to organizational effectiveness. The research uses a literature review method, drawing data from Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) with publications from 2020 to 2026 using the keyword “management psychology.” From 21 initial articles, 15 met the screening criteria, and five main articles were analyzed in depth. The findings highlight three key themes: improving performance and learning outcomes, strengthening leadership and organizational communication, and managing conflict and human resources. Overall, the literature shows that psychological approaches significantly enhance the effectiveness of educational organizations. In conclusion, management psychology plays a strategic role in educational management, and future research should expand the scope of literature and integrate quantitative methods to strengthen empirical findings.

This study is motivated by the fact that the regulation of securities investment and direct investment in Indonesia still faces legal harmonization issues between the provisions of Law No. 4 of 2023 concerning the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector particularly those governing the capital market and Government Regulation No. 63 of 2019 concerning Government Investment. This research aims to analyze the compatibility, substantial differences, and legal implications of the two regulations in the context of establishing an integrated and equitable investment legal system. This study applies a normative juridical approach with a descriptive analysis method. Data were collected using a literature study technique through a review of legislation, legal literature, and related policy documents. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques with an emphasis on systematic interpretation and the principle of harmonization of laws and regulations. The results of this study indicate that there is still a lack of synchronization between the regulation of securities investment in the capital market and the mechanism of direct investment by the government, particularly in terms of authority, risk management, and legal accountability. The findings of this study imply the need for improvements to derivative regulations and implementation guidelines that are capable of integrating capital market legal principles with government investment policies in order to create legal certainty and effective management of national investments.
