The film "Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck" (TKVDW) depicts a tragic intercultural romance and represents the richness of Bugis culture woven into its narrative. This research aims to analyze the representation of Bugis culture in the film through a semiotic approach. Bugis cultural symbols, both visual and verbal, are identified and interpreted in intercultural communication. The results show that the film successfully presents Bugis cultural symbols rich in meaning, ranging from traditional clothing, language, to values such as siri' (self-esteem) and lempu' (leadership). These symbols are not only markers of identity but also play a role in intercultural communication as a bridge and a source of conflict. The representation of Bugis culture in the film also shows the power dynamics between Bugis, Minangkabau, and Dutch cultures during the colonial era. This research investigates how organizational culture influences cadets' perceptions of empowerment training and shapes their leadership styles within the transportation management sector in Jakarta. Through qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys with cadets from diverse work environments—collaborative and hierarchical—the study explores the differential impacts of organizational culture on leadership development. Findings reveal that cadets in collaborative environments perceive empowerment training more positively, citing benefits such as teamwork, decision-making autonomy, and mentorship. These cadets tend to exhibit transformational leadership styles characterised by motivation, adaptability, and team empowerment. In contrast, cadets in hierarchical environments often adopt transactional leadership styles focused on task compliance and adherence to hierarchical structures. The study highlights the importance of tailored training programmes that accommodate diverse leadership styles and cultural contexts within transportation management education. Recommendations include integrating soft skills development, establishing mentorship programmes, and implementing continuous feedback mechanisms to enhance training effectiveness. By addressing these dynamics, educational institutions can better prepare cadets for leadership roles in dynamic professional environments, contributing to sectoral advancement and sustainability.

This research discusses the Development of Good Governance Culture Through Islamic Education. The implementation of government in good governance is related to the issue of transparency, public accountability, and so on. Conceptually, it can be understood that good governance reflects a process that gives control to the community over its economy. Its institutions and social and political resources are used not only for development, but also to create integration for the welfare of the people. Good governance is also understood as the implementation of solid and responsible government that is in line with the principles of democracy and the market, efficient government, and government that is free and clean from corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN) activities. Democracy, morality, and creative-critical thinking are values that need to be developed and instilled in creating a culture of good governance. Through education, these values are instilled and transformed into the culture of the community. The education of these values is not just cognitive knowledge, but becomes integral in the personality of the younger generation, the future leader of the nation.

The Marine Corps is one of the TNI's Main Operations Commands (Kotama Ops) under the direct command of the TNI Commander. In the course of history, the Marine Corps has shown the Indonesian nation its capabilities as an amphibious landing force. To support this main task, the Marine Corps needs leaders who have the ability and skills to carry out their duties. In this case, the Naval Academy is an institution that has the function of forming prospective Indonesian Navy officers, including prospective Marine Corps officers who will later become leaders of the Marine Corps. Marine Corps cadets are required to be able to understand material in the field of military tactics, one of which is regarding tactics for certain conditions, namely war against guerrillas. The problems in this research are the lack of trainers and supporters in carrying out training, lack of facilities and infrastructure and lack of material received by cadets. The method used in this research is qualitative with management theory as a guide. The aim of this research is to optimize combat training against guerrillas with the aim of increasing the ability to overcome separatism for Marine Corps cadets so that after graduating from education they will become Dantons who are ready to be assigned to tackle the armed separatist movement. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, things that need to be optimized include increasing the number of trainers and supporters, updating facilities and infrastructure, using modern technology in carrying out training and establishing courses on counter-guerrilla warfare operations. The result of this research is an increase in the ability to deal with separatism of Marine Corps Cadets.

This research examines the influence of transactional and transformational leadership on honesty, effective leadership, integrity. Transactional leadership focuses on rewards and punishments to achieve goals, whereas transformational leadership inspires and motivates followers to go beyond personal interests. Through surveys and statistical analysis, the results show that transformational leadership more significantly increases performance, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment than transactional leadership. However, transactional leadership remains relevant in situations that require structure and tight control. A combination of these two styles is recommended for optimal results in various organizational contexts.
