This study examines landslide disasters through a scientific interpretation approach to the verses of the Qur'an, focusing on the landslide incident at the Cilowong Final Waste Disposal Site (TPSA), Banten. Landslide disasters are not only viewed as natural events, but also as a form of divine warning reflected in QS. Ar-Rum verse 41. This study was conducted using the thematic method (maudhu'i) and a qualitative approach through literature and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the verses of the Qur'an contain scientific signs that can be aligned with contemporary science, but still require a careful interpretation method so as not to deviate from their original meaning. The landslide case in Cilowong reflects the negative impacts of unwise environmental management and emphasizes the need for synergy between religious values and scientific knowledge in disaster management efforts. This study emphasizes the importance of collective awareness in preserving nature while making the Qur'an a spiritual guide in understanding and responding to natural phenomena.

The purpose of this study was to determine how much academic supervision at SMP Negeri 2 Sangatta Utara improves teacher performance. This study, which used a quantitative methodology and a straightforward linear regression analytic method, included all 41 of the school's teachers. Direct observation, the distribution of questionnaires, and documentation were used to gather data. The SPSS program was used to first assess the validity and reliability of each instrument. Descriptive statistics, linear regression testing to determine the association between variables, and normality and linearity tests were all part of the data analysis. With a significance value of 0.000 and a t-value of 4.299 that was higher than the t table of 2.021, the study's findings demonstrated a statistically significant association between academic supervision and the caliber of teacher performance. Furthermore, the use of academic supervision accounts for 51.1% of the difference in teacher performance, with other factors not included in this study influencing the remaining 48.9%. These results suggest that while academic supervision is a significant component in raising the caliber of teacher work, other outside variables still require consideration in order to achieve the best possible outcomes during the teaching process.

This article discusses the application of deductive and inductive methods in management, which are relevant in facing modern business challenges. Deductive methods, which move from general principles to specific cases, are used to confirm decisions based on established theories, whereas inductive methods, which move from specific observations to generalizations, allow the formation of new theories based on empirical data. These two methods have complementary advantages and disadvantages; deductive excels in efficiency and systematic logic, but is limited to initial premises, while inductive offers flexibility in understanding complex situations, although it risks producing less valid generalizations. The integration of deductive and inductive methods can provide a holistic approach, helping organizations make decisions that are evidence-based, adaptive, and relevant to specific contexts

This study aims to examine in depth the views of Afrizal Nur in his book Tafsir Al-Mishbâh̲ in Sorotan which assesses that M. Quraish Shihab has a strong affiliation with the Shia school. The author uses the theory of hermeneutics of objectivity, where the interpretation of the text is understood based on the author's intent, not the subjective conclusions of the interpreter. The findings of this study indicate that although M. Quraish Shihab cites Shia sources of interpretation, he remains objective in processing the references. The analysis proves that some of M. Quraish Shihab's views in Tafsir Al-Mishbâh̲ often contradict Shia figures, such as Thabathaba'i in Tafsir al-Mîzân. This study also discusses the main issues highlighted by Afrizal Nur, including the glorification of Fatimah R.A., the successor of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, to the concepts of Ahl al-Bait, ismah, and taqiyyah. With the maudhû’i interpretation model and qualitative approach, this study successfully explains that Afrizal Nur’s view is not entirely objective in assessing the Tafsir Al-Mishbâh̲. Through concrete examples of verses and themes of interpretation, this study strengthens the argument that M. Quraish Shihab maintains the scientificity of his interpretation without supporting certain sectarian views

Cultural Islam and structural Islam are two approaches that reflect the dynamics of Islam in society. Cultural Islam Refers to religious expressions that are integrated with local culture, such as traditions, arts and customs. This approach emphasizes harmony between Islamic values and cultural identity, making it more flexible in responding to social change. Meanwhile, structural Islam is more oriented towards systems and institutions, such as politics, economics and law. This approach aims to build a social order that is in accordance with Islamic principles through formal policies and regulations. This research aims to analyze the interaction and contribution of these two approaches in building a balanced life for Muslims between spiritual values and social needs. This study uses a qualitative method with a text analysis approach and in-depth interviews with the main actors in each approach. The research results show that cultural Islam and structural Islam do not conflict with each other, but rather complement each other. Cultural Islam strengthens the spiritual and emotional aspects of society, while structural Islam provides a normative and regulative basis for society's life. In conclusion, integration between cultural Islam and structural Islam can be a solution to face the challenges of modernity without abandoning Islamic values. The synergy between the two is able to create harmony between local traditions and global demands, making Islam an inclusive and relevant religion in various contexts of life.

Fundamentalism is one of the schools of thought that does not want to accept change in the sense that they oppose renewal. So, they carefully emphasize that the announcement of the prophethood of Muhammad SAW is not something new, but only continues the series of prophets and apostles who preceded him. Meanwhile, radicalism is a group that is often viewed by the West as a terrorist who aims to weaken political authority through jihad. This means that these radical religious movements make jihad one of the methods to achieve their ideals, namely the Islamic system (al-nizām al-Islāmi). In addition, radicals are considered narrow- minded, overly enthusiastic (ultra zeolous), or want to achieve their goals by using violent means. Therefore, it is understandable why most Muslim scholars view radicalism as an unfavorable term and cause misunderstanding. This view is also found in orientalists and Western scholars who understand Islam.
