This research is motivated by the importance of understanding the niqab (face veil) as a religious symbol and an identity marker for Muslim women, which continues to spark public debate in Indonesia. The niqab is often viewed from various perspectives—religious, cultural, social, and political—making it a controversial topic. These differing viewpoints highlight the need for a deeper exploration of the meaning and practice of wearing the niqab, especially within Islamic higher education institutions. The study aims to examine both the normative and sociological aspects of niqab use among female students at Ma’had Al-Birr, Muhammadiyah University (Unismuh) Makassar. This institution is known for having a significant number of students who wear the niqab, each with different backgrounds and motivations, ranging from theological beliefs to personal convictions and environmental influences. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a field-based approach. It combines normative Islamic theological perspectives with sociological analysis, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that students perceive the niqab not merely as a religious obligation to cover one's aurat (parts of the body that should be concealed), but also as a symbol of piety, honor, obedience, and personal ijtihad (independent reasoning) in practicing Islamic teachings. An inclusive campus environment supports these students in engaging freely in both academic and social activities. However, challenges still arise, particularly in the form of stereotypes and perceptions of exclusivity that some individuals associate with niqab wearers. These misconceptions underscore the importance of cross-perspective understanding in addressing this phenomenon. This study is expected to contribute to the development of campus policies that support freedom of expression, uphold mutual respect, and promote a more inclusive, open, and tolerant atmosphere within Islamic higher education institutions—one that embraces the diversity of religious practices and encourages respectful coexistence.

The digital age has introduced a new paradigm where global connectivity and instant information access are integral to everyday life. Advancements in digital technology have reshaped various aspects of human activities, including communication, work, education, and shopping. This study explores how consumers' fear of missing out (FOMO) functions as an intermediary in the interaction between perceived scarcity and impulsive purchasing behavior. The study involved 200 respondents, who were e-commerce consumers of Shopee in Denpasar. Purposive sampling was used in data collection through questionnaires. The analysis was carried out using SEM PLS 3.0. The test results reveal that scarcity perception does not have a significant influence on impulse buying. However, FOMO has a notable effect on impulse buying and serves as a mediator in the relationship between scarcity perception and impulse buying. This study is expected to enrich the literature and provide practical insights for companies in formulating marketing strategies.

Abstrak:
Indonesia is a country with a vast diversity of cultures, religions, and ethnicities, which makes it one of the most pluralistic societies in the world. Multicultural education is present as a strategic approach to instill the values of tolerance, inclusion, and social harmony in the midst of this diversity. This article explores the nature of multicultural education in Indonesia from the perspective of Islamic education, which emphasizes respect for differences as part of the sunnatullah. Through literature research methods, this article discusses the concept, implementation, and challenges of multicultural education in the national education system. The results of the study show that multicultural education can be implemented through the development of diversity-based curriculum, teacher training to manage multicultural classrooms, and the creation of an inclusive educational environment. The Islamic perspective provides a strong philosophical and normative foundation to support multicultural education, such as the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith that emphasize the importance of tolerance and intercultural dialogue. However, the implementation of multicultural education faces challenges, including cultural resistance from exclusivity groups and limited resources in schools, especially in remote areas. This article recommends strengthening the socialization of multicultural values, developing contextual teaching materials, increasing teacher training, and allocating adequate resources as solutions to overcome these challenges. By integrating Islamic values in multicultural education, Indonesia can build a generation that is tolerant, inclusive, and able to maintain social harmony in the midst of diversity. This article contributes to enriching the discourse of multicultural education and offers practical solutions for its implementation.

The purpose of this research is to determine strategies for addressing the delays in the arrival and departure times of KM Umsini and KM Dobonsolo owned by PT. Pelni (Persero) at the Port of Makassar based on SWOT analysis recommendations. The data processed includes qualitative data on estimated arrival times compared to the actual arrival times of the vessels, as well as estimated departure times compared to the actual departure times. The results show that the average delay in the arrival of KM Dobonsolo is 1 hour and 18 minutes, while the average delay in departure is 2 hours and 5 minutes. The average delay in the arrival of KM Umsini is 3 hours and 8 minutes, and the average delay in departure is 3 hours and 12 minutes. The strategies implemented to improve the factors affecting the punctuality of the vessels' arrival and departure times include the Embarkation/Debarkation Service Process, the Loading/Unloading Process, the Freshwater Bunkering Process, the Fuel Bunkering Process, and the delays in the IT system facilitated by Inapornet in handling Clearance Documents.

Abstrak:
In recent years, there has been a growing interest in innovative teaching methodologies to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. The integration of the flipped classroom model with the STEM approach has shown promising potential in fostering critical and creative thinking skills among students. This study aims to find out whether the flipped classroom learning model through the STEM approach can be used to enhance students' creative thinking skills in the subject matter of a three-variable linear equation system for Grade X at MA Mathalibul Huda Mlonggo in the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The research results found that the flipped classroom learning model through the STEM approach was able to improve students' mathematical creative thinking abilities in the material of a system of three-variable linear equations. This can be seen from the T-test result, which obtained the results so that sig.(2-tailed) <?=0,05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the flipped classroom learning model with the STEM approach is able to improve students' mathematical creative thinking skills in the subject matter of a three variables linear equation system for Grade X at MA Mathalibul Huda Mlonggo for the 2022/2023 academic year. This is also reinforced by the results of the normalized gain test which has a value of 0,39, indicating a moderate category of improvement. Hence, it can be concluded that the flipped classroom learning model through the STEM approach is able to improve students' mathematical creative thinking skills in the subject matter of the three-variable linear equation system Grade X at MA Mathalibul Huda Mlonggo in the 2022/2023 academic year.
