This study aims to analyze the influence of interactive teaching methods and student involvement on student learning interest and motivation at SDN Kampung Melayu V through the BSI Explore Program. Using a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey, data were collected through questionnaires filled out by students participating in the program. The results show a significant positive impact between interactive teaching methods and active student involvement on the improvement of their learning interest and motivation. Students who actively participated in activities such as discussions, experiments, and practical tasks showed higher levels of learning interest compared to those who were less involved. These findings underline the importance of using teaching methods that prioritize active interaction to improve the quality of education and student motivation. Therefore, the results of this study recommend integrating interactive teaching methods and active student involvement into educational programs to encourage greater learning interest among students.

Abstrak:
Purpose: This study examined how family communication transmitted environmental values among the Baduy (Indonesia), linking their unique traditional ecological knowledge, cultural practices, and identity-based frameworks to sustainability outcomes to inform broader conservation efforts.
Methods: This qualitative study conducted in-depth interviews with four purposefully selected Baduy participants (Banten, Indonesia) to capture diverse perspectives. Informants included a ‘Tokoh Adat’ (customary leader), the ‘Kepala Desa Kanekes’ (village head), and two ‘Warga Baduy’ (general community members), representing traditional authority, administrative leadership, and community viewpoints.
Findings: Findings illuminate the Baduy people's profound integration of traditional agriculture and environmental preservation. This commitment manifests in their strict chemical prohibition, reliance on natural fertilizers, deep reverence for protected forests, and adherence to eco-friendly farming methods. These practices are embedded within a robust framework of customary law (‘adat’) and significantly informed by ‘Karma’ belief, reflecting a sophisticated understanding of long-term ecological consequences. Furthermore, these ingrained traditions fundamentally shape intergenerational communication, positioning the family as the primary conduit for transmitting vital environmental values and ecological knowledge. This dynamic process actively cultivates environmental responsibility and perpetuates a harmonious coexistence with nature within the community.
Originality: Providing novel insights, this qualitative study uniquely examined family communication's role in embedding environmental values across Baduy generations (Indonesia). Findings illuminate how traditional ecological knowledge and cultural practices synergize, driving sustainable agriculture/waste management and reinforcing community resilience through ancestral wisdom, informing culturally grounded conservation.

This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed at improving the understanding of multiplication concepts among Grade II A students of SD N Koroulon 2 Sleman through a Deep Learning approach assisted by coin-based media. The research was conducted in two cycles using the spiral model developed by Kemmis and McTaggart. In the Cycle I, the learning process focused on using coin games as a concrete medium to build conceptual understanding of multiplication. The results showed that only 68% of students achieved learning mastery. Discrepancies were still observed in the achievement indicators, particularly in converting repeated addition into multiplication sentences. Based on the reflection results, improvements were implemented in the Cycle II through strategies such as paired group work, varied learning activities, and the inclusion of a "semi-abstract" stage in the instructional process. The results of the second cycle showed a significant improvement: learning mastery reached 89%, and all learning achievement indicators exceeded 80%. This study demonstrates that the Deep Learning approach, supported by contextual media and adaptive teaching strategies, can meaningfully enhance students' conceptual understanding of multiplication. This success was also supported by effective classroom communication and the cultivation of reflective thinking habits throughout the learning process.

Hypertension is one of the major health problems frequently experienced by the elderly and can lead to serious complications if not properly managed. Simple physical activities such as massage can serve as a non-pharmacological intervention to help reduce blood pressure. This study aimed to determine the effect of physical activity in the form of massage on reducing blood pressure in elderly individuals with hypertension at PSTW "Meci Angi" in Bima City. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pre-post test control group design. The sample consisted of 20 elderly people divided into two groups, an experimental group and a control group, with 10 respondents in each group. Data were collected using an observation sheet to measure blood pressure before and after the intervention. The t-test analysis showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.009, which was less than α = 0.05, indicating a significant effect of physical activity on lowering blood pressure among the elderly. Therefore, massage as a simple form of physical activity can be considered an alternative intervention in managing hypertension among the elderly in social care institutions.

Literacy skills are a fundamental element in primary education that influence students' success in various fields. However, the results of the PISA survey show that the literacy levels of Indonesian students are still unsatisfactory. One innovative approach that can improve students' literacy skills is the use of multimodal texts. Multimodal texts integrate various modes of communication such as written text, images, audio, and video to convey information, which is believed to enhance student engagement and understanding in the learning process. Several studies indicate that the application of multimodal texts can improve science literacy, reading comprehension, and writing skills among primary school students. This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to identify, evaluate, and synthesize various studies related to the use of multimodal texts in literacy learning at the primary school level. The analysis results show that multimodal texts are effective in enhancing students' literacy skills, particularly in reading and writing. Therefore, the integration of multimodal texts into the primary school curriculum is highly recommended to improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes

This study aims to analyze the effect of production cost optimization on increasing profits (profit) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pancing, Medan City. MSMEs have an important role in the Indonesian economy, contributing around 60% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and absorbing more than 97% of the workforce. However, many MSMEs face challenges in managing production costs efficiently, which can reduce their profit margins and competitiveness in the market. The method used in this study was a survey with a questionnaire distributed to 10 registered MSME respondents. The results of the analysis showed that 80% of respondents had businesses registered as MSMEs, and 60% of them conducted production cost analysis regularly. In addition, 70% of respondents believed that good production cost management could increase their business profits. Correlation analysis showed a strong positive relationship between production cost optimization and increased profits, with a correlation coefficient of 0.75 and a significance value of p <0.05. The regression results showed that every one unit increase in production cost optimization would increase profits by 1.20 units. This study concludes that production cost optimization has a significant effect on increasing profits in MSMEs in Medan. Therefore, it is recommended that MSME owners continue to improve their understanding of the importance of production cost optimization and implement technology that can help efficiency and conduct cost analysis regularly.

In today's fast-paced food service industry, the efficiency of queue management is vital to operational success, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This study evaluates an integrated queue management system's impact on these critical areas. The results show an average satisfaction score of 80.11% from customers and 90.37% from food outlet owners, demonstrating the system's strong effectiveness. The research focused on the importance of reducing perceived waiting times through real-time updates, which enhance customer tolerance and satisfaction. By combining online and onsite ordering, the system provides real-time updates, order tracking, and notifications to boost efficiency and minimize cancellations. Despite some identified weaknesses, such as the absence of direct customer reviews and existing bugs, the system holds significant potential for improving user experience. These findings highlight the necessity for continuous development and maintenance to optimize the system further. Overall, this approach promises to advance the operational capabilities and customer satisfaction levels of food outlets.
