Mangrove ecosystems play a vital role in maintaining coastal environmental balance, providing habitats for various species, and supporting local livelihoods. In Gorontalo Province, the utilization of mangrove ecosystems faces significant challenges between conservation and sustainable exploitation. This study aims to review scientific literature discussing the use, degradation, and conservation efforts of mangroves in the region. The research method employed is a literature review analyzing 10 primary sources, including journals and books published within the last decade. The findings indicate that mangrove degradation in Gorontalo is caused by land conversion, overexploitation of resources, and weak local governance and regulations. On the other hand, there are promising initiatives such as ecotourism development and community-based management approaches that show potential for ensuring ecosystem sustainability. This study concludes that mangrove management strategies in Gorontalo must strengthen community participation, cross-sector integration, and adaptive policy approaches based on local conditions. Recommendations include improving institutional capacity and developing holistic policies that balance ecological and economic aspects.

The enforcement of fair and transparent justice requires a firm guarantee of the principles of fair trial and open justice within the judicial system. These two principles are fundamental to the protection of human rights and serve as essential mechanisms to ensure the accountability of judges as executors of judicial power. This study aims to analyze the implementation of fair trial and open justice principles in judicial oversight practices through the instruments of legal memorandum and public examination (eksaminasi). This research employs a normative method with a statutory and document-based approach. The findings indicate that although not formally regulated as part of Indonesia’s judicial oversight system, legal memoranda and examinations play a significant role in enabling public participation and control over judicial independence and integrity. Strengthening these instruments can serve as an effective strategy to realize an accountable, transparent judiciary that upholds procedural justice.

The "Balanced Nutrition from the Archipelago’s Kitchen" initiative is an educational and practical effort aimed at increasing community awareness of the importance of consuming balanced nutritious foods through a local culinary approach. This program was conducted in RT.01, Selumit Urban Village, focusing on nutrition education and the distribution of Bubur Manado (Manado porridge) as an example of a healthy traditional dish. The methods included nutrition counseling, cooking demonstrations, and food distribution to residents. The results showed improved community understanding of balanced nutrition concepts and greater appreciation for traditional Indonesian cuisine as a source of nutritious food. This activity also fostered a sense of solidarity and cooperation among community members. It is hoped that similar programs can serve as a sustainable model for culturally based nutrition education in other communities.

This study aims to explore the protection mechanisms for victims of sexual violence in Islamic boarding schools, with a special focus on the tragic case that occurred at the Yayasan Manarul Huda Islamic Boarding School in Bandung. Between 2016 and 2021, 13 female students were victims of sexual violence by the boarding school owner, and nine of them gave birth to children. This case highlights the weakness of the protection system in Islamic boarding schools and the imbalance in power relations between kyai and students. This study uses a qualitative approach through a literature study method to analyze legal documents, journals, and relevant reports related to child protection and sexual violence in religious educational institutions. The results of the study indicate that the main factors that exacerbate the situation are the lack of a safe reporting mechanism, the lack of technical regulations governing child protection in Islamic boarding schools, and a patriarchal culture that silences the voices of victims. This study also found the importance of the involvement of families, communities, and state institutions in building a preventive, responsive, and curative child protection system. Recommendations include the formation of internal policies in Islamic boarding schools, the establishment of a child protection task force, and active cooperation with external institutions such as the Ministry of Religion and the Indonesian Child Protection Commission. A confidential reporting system and regular training are needed for all parties in the Islamic boarding school to create a safe and dignified learning environment.

The buffer zone of BJ. Habibie Grand Forest Park (Tahura) in Bihe Village, Asparaga District, plays a strategic role in balancing environmental conservation and community agricultural activities. However, the widespread practice of monoculture corn farming and land clearing through burning threatens ecosystem sustainability and accelerates environmental degradation. This study aims to analyze farmers’ perceptions of buffer zone management and to identify the challenges and potential for transitioning to sustainable agricultural systems. A descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach was used through field observations, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. The findings indicate that most farmers possess basic awareness of the importance of conservation areas, but there are notable knowledge gaps regarding regulations and environmentally friendly practices. Although some farmers acknowledge the negative impacts of land burning and monoculture, economic limitations, inherited customs, and lack of technological support remain significant obstacles. Nevertheless, respondents expressed a high willingness to change their farming practices if provided with training and incentives. This study recommends a participatory strategy involving government bodies, conservation institutions, and academics to build farmers’ capacity and promote the adoption of sustainable agricultural technologies. A collaborative approach that considers the socio-economic realities of local communities is essential to ensure the long-term sustainability of the BJ. The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed the landscape of language learning, particularly in the post-pandemic era where self-directed learning through mobile applications and online platforms is increasingly common. This study explores the effectiveness of two popular digital tools LuvLingua and YouTube in supporting independent Japanese language learning among Indonesian university students. LuvLingua offers a structured, gamified approach suitable for beginners, while YouTube provides authentic and contextual exposure through real-life content. Using a descriptive quantitative method, this research involved twelve students from non-language majors who actively use both platforms to study Japanese. The findings reveal that each platform has distinct advantages: LuvLingua excels in foundational vocabulary and pronunciation, whereas YouTube significantly enhances listening skills and cultural understanding. The combination of both platforms yields optimal learning outcomes, although success heavily depends on learners’ motivation, discipline, and time management. This study contributes to the growing body of research on technology-assisted language learning and provides practical recommendations for learners, educators, and content developers.

The research method used is the descriptive analysis research method, SWOT Matrix, External Factor Evaluation Matrix (EFE Matrix), Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix (IFE Matrix). The results of the study indicate that when PT. Matahari Department Store Kediri The competitive strategy implemented by PT. Matahari Department Store Kediri only provides quality products at affordable prices but also considers maximum product sales through social media, and maintains the company's image in the eyes of consumers so as to increase customer loyalty and the weighted value of the Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix (IFE Matrix) is 2.85 which indicates that the position of PT. Matahari Department Store Kediri has a very strong internal position. While the weighted value of the External Factor Evaluation Matrix (EFE Matrix) is 3.02 which indicates that PT. Matahari Departement Store Kediri in facing the dynamics of the external environment the company's position is relatively strong.

Land law politics in Indonesia plays a crucial role in realizing social justice and sustainable development through fair and sustainable management of agrarian resources. The primary legal foundation governing land matters is Law No. 5 of 1960 on Basic Agrarian Principles (UU Pokok Agraria), which asserts that all land, water, and air spaces are controlled by the state and utilized to the greatest extent for the welfare of the people. However, the implementation of land law politics faces significant challenges, including disparities in land distribution, agrarian conflicts, and misalignment between central and regional policies. Policy changes, such as the introduction of Land Management Rights and Land Banks through the Omnibus Law, add complexity and raise questions about their alignment with UU Pokok Agraria's fundamental principles. Resolving land disputes also becomes a critical issue, necessitating effective and inclusive legal mechanisms. Therefore, comprehensive reform in land law politics is required, encompassing regulatory harmonization, consistent law enforcement, and active public participation, to ensure fair and sustainable land management for the welfare of the people.

This study aims to analyze the effect of population on poverty with per capita income as a mediating variable in Aceh Province, a special autonomy region that still faces structural poverty challenges post-conflict and natural disasters. Using a quantitative approach with panel data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Bank Indonesia, and the Financial Services Authority (OJK), this study analyzes the relationship between population growth, per capita income, and poverty percentage through path analysis with the Sobel test. The results show that population growth has a negative and significant effect on per capita income, as well as a positive impact on increasing poverty. Meanwhile, per capita income is shown to have a negative and significant effect on poverty, indicating that an increase in income can reduce the poverty rate. Mediation analysis reveals that per capita income acts as a significant intervening variable, proving that population growth not only affects poverty directly, but also indirectly through a decrease in per capita income. These findings highlight the importance of policies that control population growth while promoting economic growth based on income generation to reduce poverty in Aceh. The policy implications of this study emphasize the need for integrated development programs, improved access to education and health, and strengthening productive sectors to strengthen the economic resilience of the community.

This community service activity aims to improve the creativity and English language skills of students at Plempukan Elementary School, Kembaran, Ambal, Kebumen through Ecoprint tote bag making training. The method used includes three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. In the preparation stage, the team compiled a contextual learning module and prepared natural materials for Ecoprint. The implementation stage began with an introduction to relevant English vocabulary, followed by direct practice in making tote bags with the guidance of a facilitator. Evaluation was carried out through assessment of work results and joint reflection. The results of the activity showed that students were able to master basic Ecoprint techniques, understand and use English vocabulary contextually, and show increased self-confidence and active participation in activities. This activity proves that learning based on creative practice can be an effective medium in improving language competence and art skills in an integrated manner.
