Abstrak:
Sri Lankan Cassava Mosaic Virus (SLCMV) has emerged as a significant threat to cassava production in Southeast Asia since its initial detection in Cambodia in 2015, with recent outbreaks in Vietnam and Thailand and its first detection in Australia in 2024. This viral disease, transmitted by the whitefly Bemisia tabaci and infected planting materials, poses a substantial risk to Indonesia's cassava industry. Studies from affected countries demonstrate yield losses of 16-33% and starch content reductions of 22-38% in infected plants. This review analyzes SLCMV's current status and potential impacts on Indonesian cassava production and proposes management strategies based on regional experiences. We identify critical risk factors, including widespread vector presence and informal planting material exchange networks. Recommended preventive measures include strengthening quarantine systems, implementing enhanced surveillance programs, developing rapid diagnostic capabilities, and establishing clean seed certification systems. Our findings emphasize the urgent need for coordinated action to protect Indonesia's cassava industry from this emerging pathogen.

Abstrak:
Childbirth is often perceived as frightening and causing extreme pain. Some mothers also feel traumatized by their first childbirth process because of various difficulties and pain during childbirth so that they are reluctant to plan to have children again. Labor pain is caused by uterine contractions and dilation of the cervix and lower uterine segment. Survey data from PMB Restu Bunda in 2024 on 5 mothers who gave birth, it was found that overall respondents experienced pain, as many as 3 people with a pain scale of 7 (severe pain) and as many as 2 people with a pain scale of 6 (moderate pain). One non-pharmacological therapy that can reduce the intensity of pain is back massage using Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). The research objective was to determine the effect of back massage with Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) on the intensity of active labor pain in the first stage of labor at the IMP Restu Bunda Gunung Terang Sub-District of West Tulang Bawang Regency. The quantitative research type is a pre-experimental design, one group pre-test - post-test design. The population in this study were all mothers who were going to give birth, as many as 22 mothers, with a sample of 18 people taken by accidental sampling. The study was conducted at the IMP Restu Bunda of Gunung Terang Sub-District West Tulang Bawang Regency. Data collection used observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate tests (Wilcoxon test). The study results showed that the average labor pain before being given a back massage with virgin coconut oil (VCO) was 7.0 and after being given a back massage with virgin coconut oil (VCO) was 5.2. There was an influence of back massage with virgin coconut oil (VCO) on the intensity of active labor pain in the first stage at the IMP Restu Bunda of Gunung Terang Sub-District of West Tulang Bawang Regency with a p-value = 0.001 (p-value <? = 0.05). Suggestions for health workers can recommend back massage with virgin coconut oil (VCO) can be used as complementary therapy for mothers in the first stage of labor.

Seed dormancy is one of the main factors that inhibit the process of germination and plant growth. This study aims to study the effectiveness of using gibberellic acid (GA3) in maintaining the dormancy of rice seeds (Oryza sativa L.) Mekongga variety to increase germination. In this study, Mekongga rice seeds that experienced dormancy were given GA3 treatment with various concentrations. 0.25 ppm, 0.50 ppm, and 0.75 ppm with 24- and 48-hour immersion. The parameters measured include germination percentage, maximum growing potential, dormancy intensity, and sprout length. This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods. This study was carried out using a factorial pattern Group Randomized Design (RAK), which consisted of two factors, namely four levels of soaking using three differences in GA3 concentration and one control (aquades) and two levels of seed immersion, namely 24 and 48 hours. The results showed that GA3 treatment in combination concentration treatment had an influence on observation parameters, and there was the best concentration, namely a concentration of 0.25 ppm in 48-hour soaking capable of producing the highest germination of 96.25%, maximum growth potential reaching 98.5% with a dormancy intensity value of 1.5%.

Abstrak:
In Indonesia, the Village Head Election is the implementation of people’s sovereignty to choose village heads in a direct, public, free, confidential, honest, and just manner as stated in Regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs No. 27 of 2020. This paper aims to analyze deviant behavior in the Village Head Elections that may bring harm to other people that involve the role of supernatural beings committed by Village Head Election participants. The importance of learning magic for the Village Head Election includes: (1) to influence the opinion of society who have suffrage rights; (2) to manipulate the obtainment of votes; (3) to make other Village Head Election participants die and/or sick; and (4) to influence the opinion of Village Head Election organizers. This paper employed the juridical empirical research method in the field of the legal anthropology scientific discipline. It used the behavioral approach. This paper aims to understand how mystical practices may influence election results that should ideally be carried out in a just and honest manner as well as to increase awareness of the risk of unethical behavior in the election process. Results showed that mystical things are always closely related to the culture of the Indonesian nation from era to era, including in its political culture. It can be seen that in every leadership of national figures, mystical activities are practiced. Contestants will visit shamans by sending voodoo to their political opponents so that they can win the political contestation. Apart from that, there are those who carry out rituals that are believed to be effective as a way to win the contestation in the political realm. The novelty of this research is that authors not only analyze the magical aspect of the Village Head Elections but also how magic is believed and implemented at the national level. The implication of this case is that it is rather difficult to prove magical cases. Thus, it leads to the occurrence of widespread suspicion among all parties.

Abstrak:
This study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Sei Cabang, a private school in Langkat Regency, which still uses manual examination methods with identical questions for all students. This method is considered ineffective because it allows students to cheat, leading to exam results that do not accurately reflect their abilities. To address this issue, the study developed a web-based examination system using the Linear Congruent Method (LCM) to generate randomized question numbers. With LCM, each student receives a different set of question numbers, making the exam process more effective and fair. The system was built using PHP programming language and MySQL database, enabling efficient data storage and processing. The implementation of this system resulted in improved accuracy in assessment and reduced cheating potential during exams at the school.
