Abstrak:
This research scrutinizes the implementation of the Genre-Based Approach to enhance students’ writing recount performance and their perceptions of the learning experience. Employing a mixed-method research design, the study involved seventy-two of tenth-grade students in one of state school in Central Java. Quantitative data were collected through pretest and posttest to measure writing improvement, while qualitative data were obtained from a student’s questionnaire focusing on engagement, motivation, and comprehension. The data were analyzed using Shapiro-Wilk for normality, Levene’s test for homogeneity, and an independent samples t-test to compare the performance between the two groups. Descriptive analysis was applied to the questionnaire data. The results revealed the students in the experimental group showed notable improvement in writing performance after Genre-Based Approach intervention. In addition, students expressed positive perceptions of Genre-Based Approach, reporting increased comprehension, better retention, enhanced engagement, and strengthened critical thinking. These findings suggest that Genre-Based Approach supports writing development and fosters a more motivating and structured learning environment. This study contributes to the existing literature by highlighting Genre-Based Approach's academic and perceptual impacts, an area that remains underexplored in previous research.

Abstrak:
The personality competence of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers is very important in creating a learning environment that supports the development of student character, especially through the application of religious norms that are in line with Christian teachings. This study aims to analyze the personality competence of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers in applying religious norms for the formation of student character at SMA Negeri 1 Idanogawo, Nias Regency. This study uses a qualitative library approach through book and journal theories. The results of the study indicate that competence opens up new opportunities to enable teachers to integrate religious norms into the learning process for students. This role is also taught to students through Bible stories, discussions, and daily behavior. This paper concludes that the personality of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers not only enriches teaching materials, but also plays an important role in forming student character, which is in line with religious values ??so that through the practice of religious norms as an example it greatly supports the formation of better student character.

Abstrak:
This research aims to analyze the synergy between Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (Baznas) and Badan Wakaf Indonesia (BWI) and to examine the obstacles and impact of synergy between both. Baznas and BWI are the two government agencies tasked with managing the muslim community assets; Baznas is tasked with collecting and utilizing zakat, while BWI is responsible for managing waqf assets. The zakat funds collected by Baznas are relatively large, but many have not been distributed. On the other hand, BWI has many waqf assets but does not have the funds to make them productive. Based on the strengths and weaknesses of each, cooperation between the two is crucial to be strengthened. This article is a qualitative research with a normative-empirical approach. The results of the research show that the synergy between the two is held in communication and coordination. The obstacles to synergy are related to funding for asset development, nazir's professionalism, lack of legalization of waqf assets. The synergy between Baznas and BWI has not had a significant impact on the development of productive waqf assets in the Central Java province. If both work together synergistically, they can generate a more beneficial and productive waqf for the ummah, as seen in the case of the Johar Market relocation and the establishment of healthcare services in the form of hospitals for the benefit of the community. This article complements the theme around the importance of synergy between waqf institutions so that the benefits of waqf and the sustainability of its management can run optimally, just as the commitment of both institutions to financial reporting is important, making nazir more professional can be achieved by providing training and establishing partnerships with other, more competent institutions.

Abstrak:
This study investigates the impact of adaptive assessment tools on student learning outcomes, engagement and knowledge retention compared to traditional assessment methods. The research employs a descriptive survey design, utilising a quantitative research approach to gather data from 200 students across various educational settings in Kwara State, Nigeria. The primary research questions explore how adaptive assessments influence knowledge retention, engagement levels and the identification of areas needing additional support. By focusing exclusively on students as respondents, the study reliable data that elucidates the effectiveness of adaptive assessments in enhancing knowledge retention and engagement within educational settings. The findings reveal that adaptive assessments significantly enhance knowledge retention, as indicated by mean scores above the established cut-off point of 3.0 across all survey items. Students reported high levels of engagement, motivation and clarity regarding their learning needs when using adaptive tools. In contrast, traditional assessments received notably lower scores, suggesting limited effectiveness in fostering positive learning experiences. The study concludes that adaptive assessment tools provide a more personalised and effective approach to student learning, leading to improved outcomes in both knowledge retention and engagement. It is recommended that educators integrate adaptive assessments into their curricula to maximise student learning potential. Policymakers should consider supporting the implementation of adaptive technologies in educational institutions to enhance the overall learning experience. The research contributes to the theoretical understanding of personalised learning approaches and offers empirical evidence supporting the effectiveness of adaptive assessments in contemporary education.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dukungan teman sebaya berpengaruh terhadap konsep diri remaja panti asuhan At-Taqwa Kota Semarang dan seberapa besar pengaruhnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data purposive sampling. Populasi responden pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak didik panti asuhan At-Taqwa Kota Semarang, dengan sampel remaja berusia 10-24 tahun dan jumlah responden sebanyak 36 orang yang merupakan anak didik panti asuhan At-Taqwa Kota Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan teman sebaya berpengaruh terhadap konsep diri remaja panti asuhan At-Taqwa dengan pengaruh sebesar 18,8%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan teman sebaya, maka akan semakin tinggi pula konsep diri remaja panti asuhan At-Taqwa Kota Semarang dan sebaliknya, semakin rendah dukungan teman sebaya, maka akan semakin rendah pula konsep diri remaja panti asuhan At-Taqwa Kota Semarang.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitianini adalah metode penelitian Yuridis Normatif dilakukan dengan cara meneliti data sekunder yangberhubungan dengan Kekerasan seksual terhadap Anak yang dilakukan di daerah Pangkalan Balai denganAnalisis Putusan yang ada di Pangkalan Balai, dan mengunakan Teknik Analisis Data dalam penelitian iniyaitu teknik Deskriptif Kualitatif teknik menggambarkan, mengurai dan mengungkapkan semua pertarunganyang ada dan lalu disimpulkan secara induktif yaitu menarik konklusi menurut yang bersifat spesifik keumum. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Kekerasan seksual terhadap anak masih ada dan mungkin slalu ad ajikakita tidak Bersama-sama memberantas kasus tersebut dengan tidak mencemoohkan korban, keluarga korban,terlebih korban adalah anak di bawah umur, serta untuk lebih menguatkan iman dan ilmu agama, karena kasuskekerasan seksual kadang pelaku adalah orang terdekatnya sendiri dan Putusan hakim terhadap vonis pidanadalam kasus ini di lihat dari hal-hal yang memberarkan kasus tersebut

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk mengenalkan kepada masyarakat luas tentang pemanfaatan limbah serbuk kayu untuk dijadikan pupuk kompos.. Kegiatan pengabdian PKM ini menggunakan pendekatan pemberdayaan masyarakat partisipatif atau Participatory Action Research (PAR) yaitu suatu metode penelitian yang melibatkan secara aktif semua pihak-pihak yang relevan dalam mengkaji tindakan yang sedang berlangsung dimana pengalaman mereka sendiri sebagai persoalan dalam rangka melakukan perubahan dan perbaikan ke arah yang lebih baik. Dari kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, peserta kegiatan yaitu mencari titik utama yang menjadi masalah terbesar di masyarakat setempat, kemudian tim KKN-PAR melakukan sosialisasi dan aksi dari masalah yang telah disepakati. Setelah itu pendampingan terhadap masyarakat. Di Desa Kedungmulyo ini, selain mata pencaharian masyarakat sebagai petani, sebagian besar pula bekerja dalam bidang industri meubel. Di industri meubel, banyak sekali limbah dari serbuk kayu yang belum tersentuh tangan masyarakat. Hal ini disebabkan masih rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pengolahan limbah sebuk kayu meubel, Selain itu juga didukung tindakan masyarakat yang lebih memilih cara cepat untuk menjualnya. Dari pemaparan di atas, tim KKN PAR mengadakan inovasi tentang pemanfaatan limbah serbuk kayu meubel untuk meningkatkan harga jual dan kualitas produk sehingga bisa meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat di Desa Kedungmulyo.
