The majority of people living in Kelurahan Batang Beruh, Sidikalang Sub-district, Dairi Regency are school-age children between 6 and 12 years old. Children at this age are active learners. Therefore, innovation is needed in the organization of tutoring and reading terraces to increase insight, information and knowledge. Because with knowledge, children can at least begin to understand what they have ignored and considered unimportant, and turn it into something useful to improve their lives. The existence of reading fun for kids aims to stimulate children's interest in learning and reading, provide reading materials and places to study, provide satisfaction for parents for their children's love of learning and is a solution to increase motivation. improve and encourage learning and reading. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. This method keeps the data obtained from interviews and documents, but describes the activities more clearly and in detail. Education is an effective way to improve people's quality of life. The quality of education depends on the quality of the teachers who teach. Teachers have an important role in the growth and development of students at school. SDN Langenharjo 01 evaluates teacher performance in teaching students by selecting the best teachers as a form of appreciation for their performance and also as a form of teacher motivation to improve the quality of teaching students at school. The school still carries out manual calculation processes and does not yet use the system. The aim of this research is to develop a decision support system for determining the best teachers at SDN Langenharjo 01 using the web-based Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This research uses the Agile System Development method, starting with initial planning, then continuing with the analysis and design stages, and ending with implementation and testing. The SAW method calculation shows that Raharja S.Pd is the best teacher with a preference value of 0.9913. Testing of system functionality shows that all functions in this decision support system work as expected

Creative thinking needs serious attention because it is one of the essential skills in the 21st Century that supports academic and professional success. This research aims to systematically review the literature regarding strategies for improving creative thinking in students. The study is a Systematic Literature Review (SRL) involving 15 journals published in 2018-2022 and examines the topic of creative thinking skills, improving creative thinking skills, or training creative thinking skills. The journal search was done using a search engine (Google Chrome). The data that has been collected will be analyzed descriptively according to the existing research questions—data analysis using meta-synthesis. The research results show that creative thinking is an idea-construction process emphasizing fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. Students' creative thinking abilities can be improved by implementing scientific learning strategies. Several learning models that can improve students' creative thinking abilities include Creative Problem problem-solving, Discovery Learning, Scientific Critical Creative Thinking Model, STEM-E Model, problem-solving learning and Contextual Learning, Problem-Based Learning, project-based Learning, Authentic Learning, and Research-Based Learning

Kemiskinan, perceraian, dan permasalahan lain dalam keluarga yang ada di Indonesia membuat mereka memiliki kesulitan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan anak remaja, yang menyebabkan terdapat remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan. Situasi baru yang tidak dikenali, maupun perubahan kebiasaan, merupakan hal yang ditimbulkan dari pemisahan anak dari keluarganya. Kurangnya perhatian yang berkualitas yang disebabkan oleh banyaknya remaja yang berada di panti asuhan dengan pengasuh yang sedikit mengakibatkan remaja mengalami tekanan psikologis yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan remaja yang tidak tinggal di panti asuhan. Untuk tetap berjuang dalam tekanan tersebut, remaja perlu memiliki resiliensi dalam menjalani hubungan dengan pengasuh maupun teman sebaya dalam kesehariannya. Selain itu, remaja juga perlu memiliki penerimaan diri dalam menjalani kehidupannya sehari-hari, karena penerimaan diri juga mampu membantu remaja untuk menerima kekuatan dan kelemahannya, dan orang lain. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penerimaan diri dengan resiliensi pada remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan Woro Wiloso Salatiga. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasi pearson. Penelitian ini melibatkan 47 partisipan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala (kuesioner) penerimaan diri dan resiliensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara penerimaan diri dan resiliensi pada remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan (rhitung = 0,282 dengan sig. = 0,055). Hasil penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa kemampuan untuk mengatasi situasi yang sulit dipengaruhi oleh penerimaan diri.

Red Ginger is a type of rhizome that is widely used as an ingredient in traditional medicine in Indonesia. The efficacy of red ginger has been widely studied as an effective anti-inflammatory. One of the main components of red ginger is the gingerol class of compounds. This study aims to determine the anti-inflammatory effect that is applied to the red ginger extract gel (Zingiber officinale var. Ruburum) gel preparation with the HPMC gel-forming ingredient. The gel preparation was then tested for stability up to day 7 and evaluated for its anti-inflammatory power against white rats (Rattus norvegicus). The method used was the artificial inflammation ordering method, where the test was carried out by injection of carrageenan as a mediator for inflammation of the thighs of white rats, then topically giving Red Ginger extract gel with a concentration of 1%, 3% and 5%, HPMC as a negative control and diclofenac sodium as a Positive control. Measurements were carried out every 8 hours every day after being induced by carrageenan to use a caliper. The results showed that the reduction in inflammation to reduce the diameter of 1% after induction was 1.76 cm and decreased to 1.22 cm, the concentration of 3% after induction was 1.68 cm and decreased to 1.33 cm, the concentration of 5% after induction was 1 , 79 cm and decreased to 1.35 cm. Data were statistically analyzed using ANOVA showing that the negative HPMC controls did not show any anti-inflammatory effects. It can show that 1%, 3% and 5% Red Ginger ethanol extract gel has anti-inflammatory effects and the greatest effect is that the 5% concentration has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Adulthood is experiencing many problems that must be faced, especially in middle adulthood. Middle adulthood can be said to start at 35-60 years old. The median age is filled with various responsibilities and roles that consume time and energy. This period is also a period that spans the problems of daily life faced. This period was eventually marked by physical and mental changes, especially in spirituality. The method used in this paper is qualitative, using a literature approach. A literature study is carried out by examining various sources regarding the topics discussed. Researchers use various study sources such as textbooks, scientific journals and scientific internet sources.

Hydroponic plants are plants that grow using hydro or water media. This plant is more efficient in saving space, soil media and fertilizer and so on. This community service research aims to describe strategies for improving the economy of PKK mothers by implementing the idea of hydroponic plants in Pertanmaduretno Village, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. The author used descriptive qualitative research with observation and documentation data collection techniques at the research location. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data presentation, data condensation, and data conclusion. The results of the research show that the hydroponic plant strategy is effective in improving the economy of PKK mothers. The author participated in observing and playing a direct role in planting hydroponic plants.

AbstrakPelatihan mengenai praktik perhitungan harga pokok produksi bagi usaha Peyek 5 KIC diharapkan dapat memaksimalkan keuntungan dalam penjualannya. Penetapan metode harga pokok produksi yang digunakan yaitu metode Full Costing yang mana metode ini menghitung seluruh biaya baik bersifat tetap maupun variable, sehingga dalam 1 produk akan diperoleh berapa harga pokoknya dan usaha Peyek 5 KIC dapat menjual barang dagangannya dengan menggunakan keuntungan sebagaimana yang mereka harapkan. Usaha Peyek 5 KIC ini dijalankan oleh para mahasiswa Universitas Sumatera Barat yang tergabung dalam kelompok UKM Kewirausahaan. AbstractTraining on the practice of calculating the cost of goods produced for the Peyek 5 KIC business is expected to maximize profits in its sales. Determination of the cost of production method used is the Full Costing method, in which it calculates all costs both fixed and variable, so that in 1 product the cost of goods will be obtained and Peyek 5 KIC business can sell their merchandise and use the profit as they have hoped for. The Peyek 5 KIC business is run by students of the University of West Sumatra who are members of the Entrepreneurship student activity (UKM) group. We, as lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, provide knowledge to students about the practice of calculating the cost of production method.Kdeywords: full costing, cost of goods method, fixed costs, variable costs

A sports center is a place that accommodates various types of sports activities that can increase a person's physical, mental and social potential in certain fields in a region. The aim of this research is to design a suitable sports center by creating a friendly and inclusive environment for all users and minimizing accessibility barriers. Designing a sports center can be a forum for all users by paying attention to several factors and supporting architectural elements by applying Universal Design principles. The research method used is a qualitative method through ideas by collecting data which includes literature studies and case studies of typologies or similar themes, then followed by analysis as a design guide. The results of the study of the application of the universal design concept to the design of sports centers by applying the principles of universal design, namely the existence of special paths for disabled users, ramps that will be used as a means of vertical connection between floors, providing accessible places for wheelchair users, making signs and clear information so that visitors can access it more easily, creating open circulation that is safe and comfortable for visitors.
 

Poetry translation is a complex and challenging process, as poetry is a rich and unique form of language that often uses poetic words and sentence structures. This study aims to analyze the translation methods used by students of English Language Education Study Program in translating poetry from Indonesian to English. This research uses a case study method involving 15 students of English Education in North Sumatera who are currently undergoing a translation course. The research data were obtained through analyzing the poetry translations produced by the students. The results showed that the students used various translation methods, but the most commonly used method was literal translation. Students also managed to maintain the meaning of the original poem in their translations, but they sometimes struggled to convey the emotional and aesthetic nuances of the poem. Based on the results of the study, the researcher concludes that PBI students still need to develop their skills in translating poetry. This can be done by providing more in-depth learning about the theory and practice of poetry translation, as well as providing opportunities for students to practice translating poetry with guidance from experienced lecturers.
