Education standards in Indonesia still face various challenges, especially in Tahai Jaya Village where there are still educational problems such as limited Merdeka curriculum books, unstable lesson schedules, and the low reading ability of grade 3 elementary school students, reflecting broader educational challenges. To overcome this, KKN students took the initiative to carry out free tutoring in Tahai Jaya village. The aim of this free tutoring program is to help improve the quality of education in Tahai Jaya village. The method used is the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. The results of free tutoring activities in Tahai Jaya Village have succeeded in improving the quality of education in the area. This activity involves active community participation and is carried out for a month using interactive methods. As a result, students show increased motivation and learning abilities, especially in completing school assignments. Parents also felt the positive impact of this activity, because their children were more enthusiastic and eager to learn.

This service program aims to increase public awareness of the dangers of drugs through the formation of a Task Force (SATGAS) and the launch of the book "Youth Anti-Drug Self-Resilience" as an effort to create a Drug-Free Village (BERSINAR). The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) involving observation and active participation of village communities in the socialization program. The results of this program show success in forming a SATGAS consisting of 17 members, as well as increasing public understanding, especially teenagers, regarding the dangers of drugs. The pocket book prepared by KKN students is also appreciated as a practical guide for the community. Collaborative strategies through education and community empowerment have succeeded in creating an environment that is more alert to drug abuse, with support from the West Java Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) which strengthens the effectiveness of the program.

STEM-based teaching can be challenging as it requires the integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in one lesson. Selecting an engaging topic involving students’ experiences with current issues can be helpful in this regard. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a relevant and impactful topic that may facilitate students’ communication skills. This research aimed to evaluate the Reform Teaching Observation Protocol (RTOP) using a STEM approach to address SDGs and to improve students’ communication skills. This research employed quantitative approach to measure an instrument for teaching STEM through the lens of SDG-related issues in the science learning. The process included creating the items, reviewing the RTOP, and testing these items with participants who are the representatives of the intended users. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was used to measure the structural correlations among items and topics and assess their internal reliability. The results identified five factors in the RTOP evaluation: developing scientific topics (8 items), skills in conveying specific examples (5 items), use of scientific language terms (2 items), representative forms of scientific evidence (2 items), and involving the STEM approach (2 items). The reliability of the RTOP, as indicated by Cronbach’s Alpha, was 0.818. Based on these findings, the research concludes that the RTOP is both valid and reliable, and can be implemented in the classroom to teach STEM and SDGs, thereby improving students’ communication skills.

Rice husks are agricultural waste whose utilization is not optimal because the waste is usually only burned. Agricultural waste that is burned will harm the environment. Chemical contents such as cellulose and lignin in rice husks can be used to make active carbon. This research aims to determine the optimum operating conditions for producing carbon, obtain information regarding functional groups and changes in pore surface area on carbon before and after activation, and determine the effect of chemical activator HCl on the carbon produced. Rice husks were carbonized using a furnace at temperatures of 200°C, 250°C, and 300°C for 30, 60, and 120 minutes, followed by chemical activation using HCl for 12, 24, and 36 hours. The research results showed that the carbonization variation of 300°C at 120 minutes was closest to SNI standards: water content of 3.91%, ash content of 14.63%, volatile content of 20.01%, and fixed carbon content of 65.36%. Activation of HCl causes the appearance of carboxylic acids. Chemical activation of HCl for 12 hours resulted in proximate content that was close to the SNI 06-3730-1995 standard and resulted in the husk carbon having a larger pore surface area, namely 141,369 m2/g, compared with the pore surface area of the husk carbon before activation was 118,083 m2/g.

Scientific literacy skills are very important to face the challenges of the 21st century, but in Indonesia these skills are still relatively low. Therefore, teaching materials are needed that can develop students' scientific literacy. This research is development research which aims to describe the validity and readability of e-modules based on local potential. This e-module was developed by utilizing the potential of Kemiri Village to develop the scientific literacy of students at SMP Negeri 1 Panti. The e-module development in this research applies the ADDIE model which includes analysis, design and development stages. Research data was collected through interviews, validation sheets, and readability sheets. The validity test results show that the local potential-based e-module is included in the very valid criteria with a validity percentage value reaching 91.42%. The readability test results show that the local potential-based e-module is included in the very good criteria with a readability percentage value reaching 90.94%. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that e-modules based on local potential are easy to understand and suitable for use in science learning.

Abstrak:
The Islamization of science movement is important to study because of Muslim intellectuals' concerns about the scientific crisis faced by Muslims due to the influence of secular Western science. Previous research often only discusses theoretical aspects without linking them to concrete challenges in the millennial era. Therefore, the problem formulation in this study focuses on how Muslim intellectuals respond to the idea of Islamization of science and its relevance in the current social, cultural and technological context. This research used a descriptive-analytical-critical qualitative approach to understand the views of Muslim intellectuals. Data were obtained through document analysis, which were then analyzed using thematic analysis method to identify emerging patterns and themes. The results show that the integration of Islamic values with modern science has significant relevance, especially in providing ethical guidance in dealing with technological developments. A significant new finding is that the Islamization of science can serve as a solution in maintaining cultural and Islamic identity in the midst of rapid globalization. Recommendations for future research include the need for more integrated policy development between Islamic education and modern science, as well as more in-depth analysis of the practical implications of the Islamization of science in the context of Muslim societies.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in Indonesia's economy, particularly through their contributions to the formation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employment absorption. MSMEs are also recognized for their strong economic resilience, making them a key pillar of national financial and economic stability. Acknowledging this significance, through the Student Community Service Program (KKM), Group 36 conducted training and mentoring for MSME actors in Bulakan Village over a two-month period. This initiative aimed to enhance the understanding of MSME actors regarding the critical impact of branding, packaging design, and product innovation on marketing strategies. The outcomes of this activity include the creation of distinctive product branding and logos, as well as innovations that have the potential to improve the quality of MSME products.

The development of information technology that is currently developing serves to facilitate, accelerate, benefit and provide other alternatives for people who have businesses and have a big influence in the future. One of the things that is very influential is the sale of MSMEs. MSMEs are productive businesses owned by individuals or business entities that have met the criteria as micro businesses that have an important role in the economy because they provide employment, encourage local economic growth, and create innovation. MSMEs still face challenges such as limited access to financing, digital readiness, and marketing access that hinder the development of MSMEs. Therefore, it is necessary to take action to predict MSME sales in Binjai City using the backpropagation method so that later it can create new innovations and encourage community economic growth. Based on the process carried out using the backpropagation method, it can be seen that the value obtained has reached more than the predetermined target with a target value (t) of 0.26, learningrate 0.2, maximum epoch 10000 target error 0.01.
