Hope is one of the theological virtues strongly emphasized by Pope Francis, especially in the context of a world marked by suffering, crisis, and uncertainty. This article aims to present the Christian theological understanding of hope according to Pope Francis and to explore its relevance for the Church as it prepares for the Jubilee Year 2025. This study employs a documentary and textual theological analysis of Pope Francis’ catecheses, Sacred Scripture, official Church teachings, and the Jubilee documents. The findings show that Christian hope is rooted in the experience of God who accompanies, liberates, and consoles His people, and is grounded in the Paschal Mystery and the resurrection of Christ. Pope Francis deepens this vision through the figures of Sacred Scripture and through existential dynamics such as learning to hope, resisting despair, and remaining vigilant. Hope is both personal and ecclesial, as the Church is called to be a missionary of hope for the world. These insights highlight the importance of ongoing formation in the faith and concrete works of mercy as expressions of hope, especially as the Church enters the Jubilee Year 2025 as Pilgrims of Hope.

Pancasila is a guideline in life that guides the formation of character to become better and considers the norms and values contained within an individual. This study aims to analyze how the implementation of Pancasila values can be realized in the digital era. The method used is a literature study (library research) by reviewing various journals, books, and scientific sources related to the relevance and challenges of Pancasila in the digital era. The results of the study show that most people have implemented Pancasila values through attitudes of mutual respect, mutual care, upholding tolerance, being responsible in all actions, and actively participating in creating a safe and harmonious social media environment in the digital era. This study concludes that strengthening the implementation of Pancasila in the digital era can contribute to the development of ethical, integrity-driven, and nationally aware character. nationality. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts for self-awareness to continue upholding the values of Pancasila by shaping oneself according to the principles contained in Pancasila.

This study aims to analyze the concept of female leadership in Islam and its relevance to modern economic contexts, including how normative Islamic principles such as trustworthiness (amanah), justice (al-‘adl), and consultation (shūrā) can be actualized in participatory, ethical, and sustainable economic leadership practices. The research employs a qualitative approach using library research. Primary data were obtained from the Qur’an, Hadith, and classical as well as contemporary Muslim scholars’ works, while secondary data were collected from scientific journals and academic books discussing leadership, gender, and modern economic practices. The analysis was conducted descriptively and analytically, combining content, comparative, and interpretative analysis to examine the relevance of female leadership in Islam to contemporary economic leadership. The study finds that Islam does not restrict leadership based on gender but emphasizes competence, moral integrity, trustworthiness, and social responsibility. Women are theologically legitimized to hold leadership positions, including in the economic sector. Historical records and contemporary literature demonstrate that women’s participation in economic leadership strengthens governance, enhances accountability, and promotes sustainable decision-making. These findings suggest that female leadership is compatible with modern economic principles and can serve as an effective strategy to create an inclusive and ethically grounded economic system.

The development of philosophy from the classical to the contemporary era shows fundamental changes in the way humans understand reality with the emergence of various schools of thought that address epistemological, ontological, and ethical issues in an increasingly complex social context. This study aims to examine the contributions of key concepts from rationalism, empiricism, idealism, materialism, positivism, pragmatism, phenomenology, existentialism, Marxism, Islamic existentialism, and neopositivism, as well as assess their relevance to modern dynamics such as identity crises, technological advances, and changes in socio-economic structures. Using a conceptual approach to literature review, various previous studies were analyzed to build an integrated understanding of the position of each school of thought in the development of science and social practice. The findings show that rationalism and empiricism continue to underpin scientific methods, idealism and materialism offer different perspectives on social construction, phenomenology and existentialism deepen the understanding of subjective experience, while Marxism and pragmatism provide an analytical framework for power relations and practical action. Neopositivism continues to influence quantitative methodology, while Islamic existentialism provides a contextual moral perspective. This study emphasizes the need for an interdisciplinary approach because no single philosophical school of thought is capable of explaining reality in its entirety.

Aktivitas ekonomi mempunyai hubungan yang erat dengan transaksi antara entitas ekonomi, yang terkadang menyebabkan sengketa. Dalam konteks ekonomi syariah, sengketa muncul karena perselisihan antara pelaku ekonomi yang berbisnis berdasarkan hukum ekonomi syariah terkait hak atau kepentingan. Sengketa ini bisa diputus dengan instrumen hukum yang berbagai, baik litigasi di pengadilan agama maupun metode non-litigasi seperti negosiasi, mediasi, dan konsiliasi. Penyelesaian sengketa di pengadilan agama bertujuan agar terjaminlah keadilan dan keteguhan hukum sesuai prinsip syariah. Namun, dengan semakin meningkatnya tuntutan keadilan, penyelesaian sengketa melalui pengadilan relatif lama dan kurang efektif, maka alternatif penyelesaian di luar pengadilan semakin relevan. Negosiasi sebagai salah satu proses tawar-menawar dalam sengketa ekonomi syariah sangat memfokuskan pada persiapan dan komunikasi efektif kedua belah pihak. Salah satu penyebab sengketa ekonomi pada ekonomi syariah adalah wanprestasi dalam transaksi jual beli, terutama transaksi tanah. Oleh karena itu, regulasi ekonomi syariah yang mengatur prinsip keadilan dan keseimbangan hak dan kewajiban sangatlah perlu untuk menyelesaikan sengketa tersebut secara adil dan damai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali penerapan regulasi ekonomi syariah dalam penyelesaian sengketa wanprestasi, khususnya yang berhubungan dengan sengketa tanah, dengan mengidentifikasi metode penyelesaian sengketa yang sesuai dalam hukum Islam dan hukum positif Indonesia. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan wawasan mengenai relevansi dan penerapan hukum Islam dalam menyelesaikan sengketa ekonomi syariah, serta menyoroti pentingnya penyelesaian sengketa melalui metode yang mengedepankan keadilan dan perdamaian.

This study explores the relevance of Imam Al-Ghazali’s educational philosophy to contemporary Islamic education in responding to current moral, social, and educational challenges. Using a library research method, the study systematically examines Al-Ghazali’s views on educational goals, curriculum orientation, the role of teachers, and instructional methods, and then contextualizes these perspectives within the dynamics of modern educational systems. The analysis highlights how Al-Ghazali’s educational thought addresses issues related to moral decline, character formation, and the imbalance between intellectual achievement and ethical development in present-day education. The findings show that Al-Ghazali’s emphasis on integrating knowledge and character, balancing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, and highlighting the teacher’s role as a moral exemplar remains highly applicable today. His educational framework which prioritizes spiritual development, moral formation, self-discipline, and closeness to God offers a strong, comprehensive, and relevant foundation for renewing Islamic education in the modern era and for fostering holistic learners with intellectual competence, ethical awareness, and spiritual integrity.

Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana mahasiswa memandang peran Pendidikan Pancasila dalam memperkuat pemahaman Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) dan prinsip keadilan sosial dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif, studi ini menelusuri persepsi mahasiswa terhadap relevansi nilai-nilai Pancasila, khususnya sila kedua dan kelima, dalam membentuk karakter, kesadaran kritis, serta sikap inklusif dalam lingkungan akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menilai Pendidikan Pancasila tidak hanya sebagai mata kuliah normatif, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembentukan etika sosial, penghormatan terhadap martabat manusia, dan penguatan kepekaan terhadap ketidaksetaraan sosial. Namun demikian, mahasiswa juga melihat adanya tantangan berupa kurangnya metode pembelajaran yang kontekstual, sehingga nilai-nilai HAM dan keadilan sosial belum sepenuhnya diinternalisasi secara mendalam. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan model pembelajaran berbasis dialog, studi kasus, serta integrasi isu-isu sosial aktual agar Pendidikan Pancasila semakin relevan dan berdampak bagi generasi muda.

The meaning of gratitude according to the perspective of the Qur'an and its relationship to modern human life which is influenced by technological advances, materialistic lifestyles, and social pressures. In the view of the Qur'an, gratitude is not merely expressed through words, but involves the awareness of the heart, verbal words, and real actions as a form of recognition of the blessings given by Allah SWT. Gratitude also functions as a reflection of faith that combines spiritual, moral, and social elements. In the context of modern life, the meaning of gratitude has shifted due to consumptive lifestyles and the culture of seeking recognition on social media, which has an impact on decreasing feelings of satisfaction and inner peace. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method through a review of the verses of the Qur'an, tafsir books, and various relevant academic literature. The results of the study show that the teachings of gratitude in the Qur'an play an important role in maintaining spiritual, emotional, and spiritual balance in the midst of modern life. The application of an attitude of gratitude has been proven to improve mental health, strengthen social relationships, and reduce materialistic tendencies. Furthermore, the value of gratitude can serve as a moral guideline for Generation Alpha, enabling them to balance technological advancement with spiritual life. Overall, the teachings of gratitude in the Quran remain universally relevant, not only as a religious obligation but also as a spiritual and social necessity that can bring happiness, serenity, and meaning to life amidst the dynamics of the digital age.

This study aims to analyze the educational values contained in the Dalihan Na Tolu culture in the Mandailing community and its relevance to character education in schools. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation of traditional leaders and the Mandailing community in Mandailing Natal Regency. The results of the study show that Dalihan Na Tolu, which includes the principles of Somba Marhula-hula, Elek Marboru, and Manat Mardongan Tubu, contains educational values such as respect, responsibility, empathy, cooperation, and mutual cooperation. These values have a strong relevance to character education in elementary school. The culture of Dalihan Na Tolu not only serves as a social system, but also as a source of moral and character education for the younger generation. In addition, the application of these traditional values in the context of modern education can strengthen students' cultural identities and foster mutual respect in the school environment. The integration of Dalihan Na Tolu into learning also has the potential to be an effective pedagogical strategy to build a harmonious and characterful school culture.

This abstract discusses the relevance of various 21st-century learning approaches in meeting the needs of students in the era of the digital revolution. The approaches discussed include collaborative learning, project-based learning, problem-based learning, discovery learning, inquiry-based learning, and contextual approaches. Each approach plays a crucial role in enhancing the understanding of academic content and developing much-needed 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, digital literacy, problem-solving, and independent learning. In the context of history learning, the application of these approaches provides opportunities for students to learn actively through various methods, such as digital simulations, virtual history exhibitions, and digital document analysis. Furthermore, these approaches enable students to gain deeper and more contextual learning experiences, which are beneficial not only for understanding historical material but also for honing skills relevant to the demands of the modern world. The results of this study indicate that the integration of 21st-century learning approaches is highly relevant in preparing students to become an adaptive, innovative, and competent generation in facing the challenges faced in a world increasingly filled with technology and information.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran guru sebagai subjek pendidikan dalam perspektif tafsir tarbawi berdasarkan Q.S. Al-Kahfi ayat 66-67 serta relevansinya bagi pendidikan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Kisah dialog antara Nabi Musa dan Nabi Khidir merepresentasikan relasi edukatif antara murid dan guru yang dilandasi adab, kesabaran, kerendahan hati, dan keteladanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan. Sumber data diperoleh dari Al-Qur’an, kitab tafsir tarbawi, serta buku dan artikel jurnal pendidikan islam yang terbit dalam lima tahun terakhir. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik Analisis tematik menggunakan pendekatan tafsir tarbawi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa guru perspektif Al-Qur‟an tidak hanya berperan sebagai penyampai ilmu, tetapi juga sebagai pembimbing moral dan spiritual peserta didik. Nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam Q.S Al-Kahfi ayat 66-67 memiliki relevansi yang kuat untuk diterapkan dalam pendidikan MI, khususnya dalam penguatan adab belajar dan pembentukan karakter Islami peserta didik.

The principle of freedom of contract is a fundamental concept in civil law that provides parties with the autonomy to form, determine the content of, and implement an agreement. However, the development of information and communication technology has brought about the phenomenon of the digital economy, which has transformed patterns of contractual relationships, particularly through electronic contracts. The characteristics of digital contracts uniform, instantaneous, and generally expressed in standard clauses raise the question of the extent to which the principle of freedom of contract remains relevant. This article aims to analyze the concept of freedom of contract in civil law, its application in the digital economy, and to assess its relevance in addressing contemporary legal challenges. The research employs a normative juridical method with statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. The findings indicate that the principle of freedom of contract continues to hold relevance, but its application cannot be understood in absolute terms. In the digital context, the principle requires reinterpretation by taking into account contractual justice and consumer protection.

This paper analyzes the relevance of the Frankfurt School’s Critical Theory in shaping public policy in Indonesia’s trade sector, particularly in the context of implementing Law Number 7 of 2014 on Trade. Using key concepts of Critical Theory—such as alienation, reification, instrumental rationality, and emancipation—this study evaluates how the structure of modern political economy can generate social inequality, the marginalization of small business actors, and the dominance of market-driven logic in national trade practices. A thematic analysis approach based on a literature review is employed to examine relevant scholarly works, including theories from Adorno, Horkheimer, Habermas, and contemporary critical theorists. The findings indicate that trade policies tend to be technocratic, efficiency-oriented, and insufficiently reflective of economic democracy, social justice, and empowerment principles for grassroots economic actors as mandated by the constitution. Such conditions reproduce structural injustices, particularly for MSMEs, which are often marginalized within a competitive trade system dominated by large capital. Therefore, more inclusive, participatory policy designs that are sensitive to structural inequalities are urgently needed. This study concludes that Critical Theory serves as a robust conceptual framework for analyzing power relations within the trade sector while also offering a transformative direction for policy development. Strengthening deliberative public spheres, enhancing MSME protection, and transforming power relations are essential steps toward achieving trade policies that are fairer, more humanistic, and emancipatory.

Perkembangan anak merupakan aspek fundamental dalam pendidikan Islam yang memandang anak sebagai makhluk biologis, psikologis, dan spiritual yang membawa fitrah sejak lahir. Fitrah dipahami sebagai potensi bawaan yang mengarah pada tauhid dan nilai-nilai kebaikan, sehingga pemahaman terhadap fitrah dan tahapan perkembangan anak menjadi dasar penting dalam perancangan pembelajaran yang efektif dan bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji konsep fitrah anak serta relevansinya dengan proses perkembangan dan pembelajaran dalam perspektif Islam, sekaligus mengidentifikasi pandangan psikologi pendidikan Islam terhadap tahapan perkembangan anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menelaah buku ilmiah dan artikel jurnal akademik dari basis data terpercaya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa fitrah anak menjadi landasan utama perkembangan dan pembelajaran yang mencakup dimensi spiritual, moral, intelektual, emosional, dan sosial. Psikologi pendidikan Islam memandang perkembangan anak sebagai proses bertahap dan holistik melalui integrasi aspek jasmani, akal, dan rohani dengan prinsip tarbiyah yang gradual dan kontekstual. Pembelajaran menempatkan anak sebagai subjek aktif, berorientasi pada pembentukan karakter dan kesadaran spiritual selain capaian kognitif. Dengan demikian, psikologi pendidikan Islam menawarkan paradigma pendidikan holistik yang relevan dalam mengembangkan potensi anak menuju insan kamil.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the concept of responsive law developed by Robert Nonet and Philip Selznick and the benefits of sustainable development in the context of Indonesian law. Using normative legal research methods, this study focuses on the study of legal doctrines, scientific literature, and regulations related to sustainable development. The results of the study show that responsive law has the potential to become a more adaptive and participatory regulatory framework. This legal model is relevant to strengthening sustainable development policies because it supports the integration of social values, environmental protection, and intergenerational justice. However, structural challenges such as bureaucracy, regulatory inconsistency, and weak law enforcement remain obstacles to the implementation of responsive law in Indonesia. This study confirms that the application of responsive law can increase the effectiveness of sustainable development policies when developed in conjunction with the strengthening of national legal institutions.

This study aims to explore Al-Syarqawi’s concept of learning motivation and its relevance to the development of students’ interest in learning within the framework of modern Islamic education. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a library research method and applies content analysis to Al-Ta’allum: Al-Nadhariyat wa Al-Tatbiqiyyah and other relevant references. The results show that Al-Syarqawi places motivation as a fundamental condition that determines the continuity and success of the learning process. Motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, covers spiritual, psychological, social, and biological dimensions that guide students toward meaningful learning experiences. Al-Syarqawi emphasizes that spiritual motivation should be integrated into the educational process to create balance between intellectual development and moral-spiritual growth. His thought remains relevant to holistic and character-based education, especially in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, which promotes student independence, creativity, and moral responsibility. Thus, this study contributes to enriching Islamic educational thought by providing an integrative perspective that harmonizes spiritual, psychological, and pedagogical values to enhance students’ motivation and learning engagement.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pemanfaatan teknologi dalam budaya islam menurut perspektif buya hamka, dengan teknologi yang semakin berkembang dan modern membuat budaya islam lebih dikenal secara luas dan mudah, melalui perspektif buya hamka ini islam tidak melarang umat islam untuk ketingglan zaman, asalkan setiap budaya yang dihasilkan dan disebar luskan bisa sesuai syariat islam , sehingga jauh dari kata maksiat dan menyesatkan serta tidak melanggar syariat islam. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi kontribusi teknologi dalam penyebaran budaya Islam menurut pandangan Buya Hamka. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui  sistem observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan cara deskriptif merujuk pada teori-teori keislaman dari Buya Hamka. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Buya Hamka melihat teknologi sebagai sarana yang dapat memperkuat nilai iman dan moral, serta menyebarluaskan ajaran Islam secara inovatif dan interaktif. Pandangannya menekankan pentingnya menemukan keseimbangan antara perkembangan teknologi dan kemajuan spiritual agar teknologi dapat digunakan secara efektif dalam kegiatan dakwah dan pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan relevansi pemikiran Buya Hamka dalam era digital saat ini, di mana media digital memiliki peranan yang signifikan dalam menjangkau masyarakat luas dengan cara yang humanis dan dialogis, sejalan dengan nilai-nilai moral dan budaya Islam.

Penelitian ini mengkaji rasionalitas pewahyuan Al-Qur’an melalui pendekatan skripturalis-filosofis guna menegaskan relevansi epistemologis wahyu dalam konteks keilmuan modern. Kajian ini berangkat dari pandangan bahwa wahyu bukan sekadar fenomena teologis, tetapi juga sumber pengetahuan yang dapat diuji secara rasional. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan kombinasi metode hermeneutik filosofis, analisis wacana, filologi Semitik, dan pendekatan komputasional berbasis pemrosesan bahasa alami. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan interpretasi mendalam terhadap struktur argumentatif teks dan konteks historisnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pewahyuan Al-Qur’an memiliki koherensi internal yang kuat, dibuktikan melalui stabilitas filologis manuskrip, kontinuitas transmisi, serta konsistensi retorika dan struktur teologisnya. Wahyu terbukti berfungsi sebagai fondasi epistemik yang menuntun akal dan ilmu pengetahuan menuju kesatuan kebenaran. Penelitian ini juga mengungkap relevansi universal Al-Qur’an dalam etika, pluralisme, dan integrasi sains melalui paradigma tawhidic yang menolak dikotomi antara agama dan ilmu. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwa rasionalitas wahyu memiliki nilai universal dan aplikatif dalam membangun sistem pengetahuan yang komprehensif, interdisipliner, dan berorientasi nilai. Studi ini memperkaya filsafat Islam kontemporer dengan menawarkan model epistemologi integratif yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan wacana etika global, pendidikan spiritual, serta kebijakan ilmu berbasis nilai-nilai wahyu.

Education in remote areas continues to face various problems that affect the quality and equity of learning outcomes. The lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure, the shortage of competent teachers, and limited access to learning resources are the main obstacles to implementing effective education in these regions. In addition, the national curriculum, which is uniform in nature, is often less relevant to the needs, potential, and local context of the community. This study aims to analyze educational problems in remote areas and their relevance to adaptive and contextual curriculum design. Using a literature review approach, the study shows that a curriculum aligned with local conditions can improve students’ learning motivation, develop regional potential, and strengthen life skills. Therefore, collaborative efforts among the government, educators, and the community are needed to design a curriculum that can effectively address educational challenges in remote areas in a sustainable manner.

The formation of regional regulations (Perda) is a constitutional derivative of the implementation of regional autonomy within the framework of the Indonesian legal system. Substantively, Perda function as regulatory instruments aimed at accommodating the specific interests of local communities, in line with fundamental values, contextual needs, and the hierarchy of applicable laws and regulations. However, the high frequency of annulment or cancellation of Perda indicates dissonance or non-compliance with the principles of sound legislative formation. This phenomenon raises the urgency to review the extent to which philosophical, sociological, and legal foundations have been internalized and comprehensively implemented in the regional legislative process. Therefore, this study focuses on analyzing the relevance of these three fundamental foundations to the quality and legitimacy of regional legal products. This study adopts a normative-juridical legal research method, involving descriptive analysis of the corpus of laws and regulations, legal doctrine, and the empirical practice of Perda formation. The results highlight that: the philosophical foundation provides a normative orientation in the form of ethical-teleological values ​​and goals; the sociological foundation reflects the actual needs and social realities of the communities subject to regulation; Meanwhile, the legal basis guarantees formal legality and vertical and horizontal consistency with the national legal system. Key findings indicate that these three foundations are inherently relevant and complementary in determining the quality of regional regulations. Synergy and harmonious integration between them are essential prerequisites for producing regional legal products that have legal validity, are capable of upholding substantive justice, and are responsive to the dynamics of public needs.
