This study is a field research that attempts to see the extent of the application of the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method in learning yellow books at the Tarbiyatul Aulad Sukadana Islamic Boarding School, Kayong Utara Regency. The success or failure of learning can be seen from the accuracy in choosing the method. This study aims to describe how the planning, implementation and supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method in learning yellow books at the Tarbiyatul Aulad Sukadana Islamic Boarding School, Kayong Utara Regency. The data collection methods used in this study are; observation , interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that 1) The planning of the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method in learning yellow books at the Tarbiyatul Aulad Islamic Boarding School includes a) the ustadz first reads the learning objectives in the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method guidebook b) the ustadz first muthala'ah again the material to be delivered, c) the ustadz tells the students to memorize vocabulary and nadzhom imrithi and alfiyah related to the material to be studied. 2) The implementation of the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method in learning yellow books at the Tarbiyatul Aulad Islamic Boarding School includes the following steps : Opening with Prayer and Intention, Introduction to Vocabulary (Mufradat), Gradual Understanding of Nahwu and Shorof Rules, Application of Rules Through Practical Exercises, Memorizing Vocabulary and Rules, Dialogue and Light Conversation (Muhadatsah), Reading and Translating Texts, Periodic Evaluation and Tests, Reinforcement with Yellow Books (Advanced Level) . 3) supporting factors: availability of competent Ustadz, structured and gradual curriculum, student discipline in memorizing and muthala'ah, supportive learning environment, inhibiting factors: differences in academic background of students, limited learning time, lack of supporting learning media, physical fatigue of students.

This study examines the impact of government policies on social trauma healing and post-conflict social integration in Ambon, focusing on interfaith community relations and policies implemented following the Malino II Agreement. The objective of this research is to explore the effectiveness of reconciliation policies in reducing sectarian tensions and supporting the recovery of social trauma. The study employs a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach, utilizing a literature review of relevant sources, including books and articles on related policies. The findings indicate that reconciliation policies involving interfaith dialogue and engagement with local leaders have been effective in mitigating sectarian tensions and fostering social trauma recovery. However, while these policies have shown short-term effectiveness, challenges persist in ensuring their sustainability and implementation, particularly regarding social inclusivity. Additionally, the role of local religious leaders and religious institutions is crucial in creating spaces for dialogue and strengthening social cohesion, while religious education and local cultural practices also contribute to social integration. This study suggests that community-based approaches and inclusive policies that engage various societal elements are essential for achieving sustainable social peace.

This article explores the use of directive speech acts in dialogues presented in English textbooks. Drawing on the theoretical framework of speech act theory by Parker and Riley (1994), the study focuses on understanding how directives—utterances that seek to influence the behavior of the listener—are presented in various dialogues. It examines the various forms and functions of directives, their role in communication, and how they help learners of English understand and practice practical conversational strategies. The article highlights the importance of directive speech acts in both formal and informal contexts, with specific examples drawn from English language textbooks. This study uses qualitative descriptive research where data is found in dialogues in textbooks and then matched with theory and poured into a sentence. This study found that there are five types of directive speech acts, namely, orders, warnings, giving advice, suggestions, and recommendations. In this study, 7 command data, 3 warning data, 2 advice data, 8 suggestion data, and 1 recommendation data were found. In this study, two techniques were found in the delivery of speech acts, namely direct and non-direct. Non-direct techniques tend to contain an element of politeness rather than direct. In addition, the speech actions in this textbook can help students understand, and using directive speech acts effectively can significantly improve communicative competence in language learners.

This research examines the application of contextual theology in the organisation of worship and the discipleship process as an effort by the church to remain relevant in the face of social and cultural dynamics and the times. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research integrates various theories and models, including translation, anthropology, praxis, synthetic, and transcendental models, to reveal how the church can translate the teachings of the Christian faith adaptively and thoroughly. Contextualised worship does not only serve as a religious ritual, but also as a means of interaction between faith and the daily life of the congregation, thus encouraging active engagement and continuous spiritual growth. In addition, structured and holistic discipleship has proven effective in shaping character, faith maturity, and spiritual leadership, through the integration of spiritual, intellectual, and emotional aspects. The research also discusses the evolution of worship practices from the Old Testament to the New Testament, as well as identifying contemporary challenges such as the shift between traditional and modern worship. The results show that the implementation of church principles that are constantly renewed is key to success in maintaining fidelity to biblical values while remaining responsive to changing times. Future research recommendations include empirical studies across different cultural backgrounds, comparative analysis of contextual worship models, evaluation of discipleship programmes, and exploration of technology integration in worship settings. The findings make a significant contribution to the development of church practices that are inclusive, adaptive, and able to build vibrant communities of faith that are responsive to today's global challenges. The research also highlights the importance of inter-generational dialogue and community strengthening through innovative ministry activities, thereby encouraging positive social transformation and supporting the sustainability of the church's mission in an era of complex globalisation. Indonesia is a country with a vast diversity of cultures, religions, and ethnicities, which makes it one of the most pluralistic societies in the world. Multicultural education is present as a strategic approach to instill the values of tolerance, inclusion, and social harmony in the midst of this diversity. This article explores the nature of multicultural education in Indonesia from the perspective of Islamic education, which emphasizes respect for differences as part of the sunnatullah. Through literature research methods, this article discusses the concept, implementation, and challenges of multicultural education in the national education system. The results of the study show that multicultural education can be implemented through the development of diversity-based curriculum, teacher training to manage multicultural classrooms, and the creation of an inclusive educational environment. The Islamic perspective provides a strong philosophical and normative foundation to support multicultural education, such as the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith that emphasize the importance of tolerance and intercultural dialogue. However, the implementation of multicultural education faces challenges, including cultural resistance from exclusivity groups and limited resources in schools, especially in remote areas. This article recommends strengthening the socialization of multicultural values, developing contextual teaching materials, increasing teacher training, and allocating adequate resources as solutions to overcome these challenges. By integrating Islamic values in multicultural education, Indonesia can build a generation that is tolerant, inclusive, and able to maintain social harmony in the midst of diversity. This article contributes to enriching the discourse of multicultural education and offers practical solutions for its implementation.

This research reveals the crucial role of Instagram, particularly the @fiqri_fox account, in shaping a community of videographers who actively learn and share. Through a virtual ethnography approach, it is found that this account not only presents comprehensive lighting tutorials, but also creates an inclusive dialog space. Using the virtual ethnography method, this research explores in depth how the Instagram account @fiqri_fox becomes a reference for videographers in understanding lighting techniques. The results of this study highlight the great potential of social media, especially Instagram, as an effective learning tool. Accounts like @fiqri_fox have proven that with the right approach, the platform can bridge the gap between theory and practice.

This paper explores the internal and external challenges faced in the development of ecumenism, including doctrinal differences, leadership conflicts, political, social, cultural pressures, as well as issues of pluralism and interfaith relations. Using the literature study method, this research presents the history of the ecumenical movement in Indonesia, starting from the era of the Council of Churches in Indonesia (DGI) until its transformation into the Persekutuan Gereja-Gereja di Indonesia (PGI). Various initiatives have strengthened the movement, such as the Oikumene Month program, the drafting of a common church order, collective diakonia projects, and interfaith cooperation. Inclusive theological education and inter-denominational dialog were also identified as key in dealing with differences and building harmony. With an approach based on love, solidarity and respect for diversity, the ecumenical movement has great potential to become an important pillar in promoting Christian unity and social harmony in plural Indonesia.

This article discusses backbiting in the perspective of hadith. Every human being is required to always do good, be kind, not to hurt people, or to gossip about others. But in reality backbiting seems to have become commonplace in today's society and can cause tension in a society, namely dialogue about other people or negative stories about someone and in religious (Islamic) language it is called backbiting. This study aims to discuss backbiting according to the hadith perspective. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the thematic method. The formal object of this research is the definition and prohibition of backbiting which are formulated based on hadith themes. The material object of this research is the case. The prohibition of backbiting in the hadith above aims to maintain harmony in social life. The results of this study indicate that hadith themes can be formulated within the theoretical framework of curiosity from a hadith perspective. The discussion of this study explains that curiosity is relevant to aspects of positive mental health and one's well-being which includes digging for information, exploration, asking anyone who can fulfill one's curiosity about something he feels he needs.

The ecumenical movement in Indonesia was born as a response to the biblical call to realize the unity of Christians, especially in the context of cultural, ethnic and religious diversity. As a country with high plurality, Indonesia is a fertile and challenging field for this movement. Oikumene, derived from the Greek word oikoumene, means “inhabited world”. In this context, the ecumenical movement aims to unite churches to witness the Gospel together in a complex and diverse world. However, the implementation of this movement is not free from various dynamics and challenges, especially in interfaith relations. One of the main challenges is the differences in theology, tradition and liturgy between churches, which become internal obstacles to realizing complete unity. Churches in Indonesia often face difficulties in reaching agreement on common issues, such as evangelism, social services, and approaches to interfaith dialog. On the other hand, external challenges arise from the dynamics of interfaith relations in Indonesia, which are often characterized by tensions, stereotypes, and even conflicts. Government policies related to religion, such as the regulation of houses of worship, also often put churches in a difficult position, thus affecting their efforts to unite.Nevertheless, the ecumenical movement in Indonesia still plays a significant role in promoting interfaith dialogue. By emphasizing the importance of cooperation on social issues, such as justice, peace and poverty alleviation, the movement is able to serve as a bridge between Christian communities and other religions. The role of organizations such as the Persekutuan Gereja-Gereja di Indonesia (PGI) is very important in realizing constructive dialogue. This study conducts a pragmatic analysis of the dialogue between characters in Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea," utilizing Grice's Cooperative Principle as a theoretical framework. By examining the interactions between Santiago and Manolin, the research highlights how conversational maxims: Quality, Quantity, Relation, and Manner shape their communication. The analysis reveals that while both characters generally adhere to these principles, occasional deviations occur, reflecting their emotional connections and the complexities of their relationship. This investigation not only enhances understanding of the characters' dynamics but also underscores the broader implications of pragmatic theory in literary dialogue. Ultimately, the findings demonstrate that effective communication transcends mere information exchange, emphasizing the importance of fostering relationships and emotional understanding in human interactions.  

This research examines the pros and cons of Islamic leadership in Indonesia, a complex issue amidst the social and political diversity of a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. With a qualitative approach, this research explores various perspectives regarding the application of Islamic values ​​in leadership, which are considered to provide moral guidance and strengthen national identity. However, there are also concerns regarding the potential exclusion of non-Muslim groups and the disregard for the principles of democracy and pluralism. Through literature analysis, this research concludes the need for interfaith dialogue and political education that emphasizes religious harmony to create inclusive and just policies, so as to bridge Islamic values ​​with the needs of diverse communities.

This research aims to analyze the role of communication media in the extension process in Aekraja Village. Communication media, especially interpersonal communication, is considered to have a significant influence in conveying information and building relationships between extension workers and the Aekraja village community. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and observation methods. The results of the research show that interpersonal communication, such as face-to-face dialogue and group discussions, is the main effective medium in the counseling process in Aekraja Village. This is due to its ability to convey messages directly, provide feedback opportunities, and create trust between extension agents and the community. However, this research also found several challenges, such as low levels of media literacy and differences in understanding between individuals, which affect the success of extension. T
