This study aims to analyze the effect of using cassava (Manihot esculenta crantz) as a carbohydrate-based feed ingredient on body weight gain in beef cattle. The review was conducted using a descriptive literature study approach based on sixteen scientific articles discussing the nutritional composition, processing methods, and performance responses of beef cattle fed cassava-based diets. The analysis shows that cassava contains 17.45–88.6% dry matter, 2.4–21.45% crude protein, and 11.35–92.2% nitrogen-free extract, with variations influenced by plant part, processing method, and hydrocyanic acid (HCN) content. Processing techniques such as fermentation and ensiling can reduce HCN levels by more than 70% while increasing crude protein content up to 25%, thereby improving digestibility and feed efficiency. The inclusion of cassava in the form of flour, dried chips, pulp, or fermented peel consistently enhances dry matter intake and average daily gain (ADG) of beef cattle at inclusion levels of 20–50% in the diet. Overall, cassava has strong potential as a locally available, economical, and sustainable feed ingredient to improve beef cattle productivity.

This study aims to design and develop an expert system to assist in diagnosing diseases in dairy cattle at Cibugary Farm using the Forward Chaining method. The background of this research lies in the limited knowledge of farmers in identifying early symptoms of diseases, which often leads to delays in medical treatment and negatively affects dairy cattle productivity. To address this issue, an expert system was designed to replicate the reasoning process of a human expert through a knowledge base containing diagnostic rules derived from observable symptoms. The Forward Chaining method was chosen because of its capability to trace facts from known symptoms toward a conclusion regarding the type of disease affecting the cattle. The system was developed by incorporating common disease symptoms, inference rules, and a decision-making mechanism that simulates expert analysis. Testing was carried out on several diagnostic scenarios to evaluate the accuracy and efficiency of the system. The results of the study indicate that the expert system can provide an initial diagnosis quickly and accurately, producing outputs consistent with expert assessments. This functionality assists farmers in making timely decisions regarding appropriate medical interventions, thereby reducing treatment delays and minimizing the risk of disease transmission within the herd. Consequently, the Forward Chaining-based expert system is expected to serve as an innovative solution to improve dairy cattle health management and support sustainable livestock productivity at Cibugary Farm.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) play a crucial role in driving local economic growth, particularly in the food and beverage sector. However, many UMKM, such as Cipta Rasa Mulya, still face significant challenges in adopting modern marketing approaches to expand their reach and enhance their competitiveness. This community service program focuses on addressing two major issues: the lack of effective digital marketing utilization and the weak brand identity—especially in packaging design—of the dairy products produced by the UMKM. Through a structured and intensive training program, this initiative aims to provide UMKM actors with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in rebranding and digital marketing. The activities include workshops on digital branding strategies, hands-on mentoring sessions for social media management, product photography, and brand storytelling, as well as ongoing evaluations to monitor progress and implementation. The expected outcomes of this program are multifaceted, including improved brand awareness among consumers, more attractive and informative packaging, increased product variety, and broader market reach through the use of digital platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and e-commerce channels. By enhancing the UMKM’s ability to present their products professionally and utilize social media for marketing purposes, this program supports the development of more competitive and sustainable business practices. In the long term, it is anticipated that such interventions will not only increase the visibility of Cipta Rasa Mulya’s dairy products but also strengthen their position in both local and national markets. Ultimately, this initiative highlights the importance of combining technological adaptation with creative branding in empowering UMKM and stimulating inclusive economic growth.

Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of financial performance on the stock prices of food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2024. The financial performance factors analyzed include Return on Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Return on Investment (ROI). Data were collected from fifteen nationally accredited scientific articles published during the period and were eligible for inclusion. The results show that Return on Assets (ROA) consistently has a positive effect on stock prices, making it the most important indicator to attract investors. Since investors prioritize profitability over short-term liquidity, Current Ratio (CR) is usually not very influential. Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) results vary depending on the debt condition of companies and their financial plans. However, Return on Investment (ROI), which has not been studied much, seems to have a significant impact on stock prices and is starting to attract the attention of investors in the food and beverage industry. This study helps by providing a comprehensive picture of the pattern of influence of financial ratios on stock prices and complements the shortcomings of current research, especially regarding the ROI variable which is still minimal in previous studies. It is hoped that these findings will help investors, company management, academics, and regulators make decisions and create investment strategies in the Indonesian capital market.
