Modern society faces multidimensional complexities, ranging from spiritual crises and technological disruption to social inequality. Muslims, with their theological and intellectual capital, are often perceived as suboptimal in responding to these challenges contextually and applicatively. This article aims to analyze the fundamental problems faced by Muslims in formulating answers to the problems of modern society and to explore the strategic role of Islamic higher education institutions, specifically the Muhammadiyah University of Malaysia (UMAM), in bridging this gap. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method at UMAM. Data was collected through literature study, observation, and structured interviews with academics and policymakers at UMAM. The findings indicate that the main problems lie in: (1) the dichotomy between naqli and aqli sciences, (2) a static approach to religious texts, and (3) a lack of integrative and innovative solution models. UMAM strives to address these issues through three main strategies: integration of knowledge in the curriculum, problem-based research, and empowering community engagement. This article concludes that UMAM has the potential to become a model social laboratory of Islam that combines the Muhammadiyah renewal ethos with the Malaysian socio-cultural context to produce relevant, humanist, and rahmatan lil 'alamin solutions.

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to provide direct socialization and mentoring to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) actors in Biring Ere Village to enhance the quality and sustainability of their businesses. MSMEs play a vital role in the village economy as drivers of local economic growth and employment. However, various obstacles such as limited access to capital, low quality of human resources, restricted market access, lack of product innovation, and weak business management remain major barriers. This community service activity was conducted through interactive socialization methods, skills training, direct mentoring, and focused group discussions involving MSME actors, village heads, village officials, and the general community. The materials presented included business development strategies, basic financial management, product marketing techniques, product innovation and diversification, and access to capital. The results demonstrated increased understanding among MSME actors regarding business development strategies, heightened motivation to innovate, formation of collaborative business groups, and enhanced awareness of the importance of sound business management. This program has had a significant impact on empowering the community's economy and strengthening the capacity of MSME actors in Biring Ere Village to face global economic challenges.

Education functions as a central pillar in shaping the quality of human capital, encompassing knowledge, skills, and health, and thus plays a significant role in influencing Indonesia’s Human Development Index (HDI). This study employs a qualitative literature review by examining key theoretical frameworks in the economics of education, such as Becker’s Human Capital Theory and Schultz’s investment model, supported by relevant national empirical data. The findings indicate a very strong relationship between education and HDI improvement. This is reflected in a correlation coefficient of 0.943 between education expenditure and Indonesia’s HDI during the 2004–2023 period. The results suggest that an increase in education spending of IDR 1 trillion has the potential to raise the HDI by approximately 0.002 points. These findings confirm that investment in education not only enhances the quality of human resources but also directly contributes to sustainable national development. Despite the positive trend and the achievement of an HDI score of 75.02 in 2024, several challenges persist, particularly regional disparities, unequal access to education, and quality gaps between urban and rural areas. Therefore, more inclusive education policies, equitable access, and strengthened vocational education and training are essential to ensure that the benefits of human capital development are distributed evenly across all regions of Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the factors determining the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia through a literature review approach. MSMEs make a significant contribution to the national economy, but their growth still faces various structural barriers. Based on the results of the literature review, it was found that access to capital, human resource quality, managerial capacity, innovation, digitalization, marketing strategies, and government policies are the main factors influencing MSME growth. Limited capital and low financial literacy are dominant obstacles that hinder business expansion. Furthermore, weak managerial capacity and digital competency prevent many MSMEs from optimally exploiting market opportunities. Innovation and the use of digital technology have been proven to increase efficiency and marketing reach, but the adoption rate remains low. External factors such as government regulations, simplified licensing, and support from empowerment programs also play a significant role in creating a conducive business climate. This study emphasizes that MSME development requires a comprehensive approach that integrates internal aspects of business actors and structural government support. The research results are expected to serve as a reference for academics, policymakers, and MSME actors in formulating more effective development strategies.

This study is entitled “The Ecofeminist Movement of Mollo Indigenous Women in Rejecting Marble Mining (study: Rejection of Marble Mining in Fatumnasi Village, South Central Timor Regency)” which aims to understand and analyze the ecofeminist movement carried out by Mollo indigenous women in rejecting marble mining activities in Fatumnasi Village. The presence of marble mining in the Mollo indigenous area has posed a threat to Environmental sustainability, water sources, and cultural values that have long been the identity of the community. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, this study describes the role and form of resistance of Mollo indigenous women based on the ecological relationship between women and nature. Data were obtained through in-diepah interviews, field observations, and documentation of the head of Fatumnasi Village, traditional women’s figures, religious figures, community leaders, and youth leaders. The results of the study indicate that the movement to reject marble mining is not merely a form of protest against environmental damage, but also a form of ecofeminist awareness that emphasizes that women’s bodies and the body of nature are an inseparable whole. This movement is expressed through various acts of resistance such as traditional rituals, weaving, demonstrations, and customary deliberations, each carrying symbolic meaning about the harmony between humans and nature. Based on Françoise d’Eaubonne’s theory of ecofeminism, the Mollo women’s movement reflects critical awareness toward patriarchal and capitalist systems that exploit both women and the environment. Thus, it can be concluded that the ecofeminist movement of Mollo indigenous women in rejecting marble mining is a form of women’s struggle to maintain environmental sustainability and maintain cultural identity through loclah wisdom practices.Ecofeminism, Mollo Indigenous Women, Marble Mining, Fatumnasi Village, Environment

Job placement is a brief and concise summary of the process of placing employees in positions that match their expertise, skills, and knowledge within an organization. Human capital refers to the knowledge, skills, competencies, and attributes of individuals that contribute to economic and social performance. Teamwork is one of the important factors in increasing effectiveness and productivity in an organizational environment. Employee performance is one of the main indicators in determining the success and competitiveness of an organization. This study aims to analyze the effect of job placement, human capital, and teamwork on employee performance at PT. Faithfull The Brand. This study was conducted at PT. Faithfull The Brand. The research population was employees of PT. Faithfull The Brand. The sample in this study was 87 respondents who were determined based on the Slovin formula. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program. The results of testing the hypothesis stated that job placement had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Faithfull The Brand, human capital had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Faithfull The Brand, and teamwork had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Faithfull The Brand.

This study presents a meta-analysis of open-access accounting information systems (AIS) literature in Indonesia during the digital transition period of 2015-2025. The primary objective is to identify and map the taxonomy of Independent Variables (X) and Dependent Variables (Y) predominantly used in academic and practical research. Through a systematic review of 15 key accredited articles with Digital Object Identifiers (DOI), this research finds that AIS success determinants (Variable X) have evolved from purely technical factors to integrative clusters encompassing Human Capital (competence, training), Organizational (culture, management commitment), and Technological (infrastructure, internal control) aspects. Meanwhile, Dependent Variables (Y) have shifted from mere technical user satisfaction to strategic impacts such as financial report quality, operational efficiency, and MSME business performance. These findings indicate that AIS research in Indonesia is heavily influenced by public sector regulatory contexts and cloud technology adoption in the MSME sector. This report serves as a reference framework for future researchers to explore emerging variables such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity behavior within the accounting ecosystem.

This study aims to analyze the factors affecting real wages of construction workers across provinces in Indonesia from 2010 to 2023 using panel data analysis. The independent variables include Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP), Consumer Price Index (CPI), Open Unemployment Rate (TPT), and Performance Pay (Balas Jasa). A panel dataset of 476 observations from 34 provinces over 14 years was analyzed using three model approaches: Common Effect Model (CEM), Fixed Effect Model (FEM), and Random Effect Model (REM). The best model was determined through Chow Test, Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiplier Test, which confirmed that the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the most appropriate for analyzing this research data. FEM estimation results show that simultneously, all independent variables (UMP, CPI, TPT, and Performance Pay) have a significant effect on real wages with an F-statistic value of 436,465.9 (p-value = 0.0000 < 0.05), indicating that the model as a whole is highly valid and capable of explaining the variation in real wages collectively. However, partial tests reveal that only the Real Wage variable has a positive and statistically significant effect on Performance Pay (coefficient = 106.3320; t-statistic = 1276.083; p-value = 0.0000), while UMP (p-value = 0.1472), CPI (p-value = 0.6460), and TPT (p-value = 0.6934) show no significant effects at the 5% significance level. The research model demonstrates very high predictive ability with an R-squared value of 0.999735 (99.97%), indicating that the variables studied can explain nearly all variation in real wages of construction workers at the provincial level. This research provides policy implications that improving real wages in the construction sector requires an integrated approach that focuses not only on minimum wage setting but also on regional inflation control, human capital quality improvement, and creating conducive labor market conditions through unemployment reduction

This qualitative literature review examines why some countries demonstrate levels of artificial intelligence (AI) readiness that exceed expectations based on their economic complexity. Building on recent advances in AI preparedness measurement and economic complexity theory, the study synthesizes interdisciplinary literature from economics, innovation studies, AI governance, and development policy. The review finds that economic complexity provides a necessary structural foundation for AI readiness but is insufficient on its own to explain cross-country variation. Countries that overperform relative to their structural constraints consistently benefit from complementary drivers, particularly regulatory and ethical governance frameworks, while digital infrastructure and human capital play context-dependent roles across income levels. The analysis further identifies three dominant national coordination models—state-led, market-responsive, and distributed innovation systems—through which countries translate latent capabilities into applied AI readiness. The study contributes a conceptual benchmark for understanding AI overperformance and offers policy-relevant insights for addressing the global AI divide through context-sensitive institutional design

Halal Product Processing (P3H) certification mentoring is a community service activity aimed at helping P3H training participants obtain halal certification in halal human resource competencies. The research was conducted by mentoring halal human resource participants around the KM 72A Rest Area. The method of this activity is PAR (Participatory Action Research) to be able to answer partner problems directly through a combination of knowledge transfer, field practice and ongoing coaching. Mentoring is carried out by training P3H participants by providing pre- and post-tests, as well as creating SiHalal accounts and of course uploading documents to the application. Conducting simulations in conducting halal verification and validation for assisted MSMEs. Training is carried out until P3H participants are eligible to receive certificates. The result of this service is the certification of P3H training participants, which is expected to provide added value for participants and the community around the KM 72A Rest Area and of course, public or buyer confidence in the sustainability of the halal zone at the KM 72A Rest Area

The Indonesian Navy Academy is a military educational institution that produces cadets to become professional and reliable Indonesian Navy officers. Cadets are required to have strong physical and mental strength to achieve responsiveness, resilience, and resilience in undergoing education, training, and upbringing. To support learning and training activities, quality food intake and service are required. Quality meal service is needed in order to increase the satisfaction of AAL cadets during meal activities in the Hadiwinarso Rds Loungeroom. For this reason, qualified Human Resources are needed to man the Hadiwinarso Rds Loungeroom, namely Cooks and Waiters in improving meal services for cadets. The researcher focused on personnel development and made it as input to optimize the cooks and waiters in the Hadwinarso Rds Loungeroom to improve meal services for cadets. In this study, the SWOT method was used to reveal internal and external factors that influence the performance of Waiters and Cooks. This study is expected to find the right optimization strategy by identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. After conducting a SWOT analysis, a strategy was obtained to optimize Waiters and Cooks with a combination strategy of Weakness-Opportunity in quadrant III. W-O strategy (supporting the Turn-Around strategy) namely the organization faces enormous opportunities, but on the other hand faces several internal obstacles/weaknesses with the focus of the strategy being to minimize internal weaknesses so that it can seize better opportunities. The results of the study show that the W-O Strategy that the author found is Strategy 1: Given training/courses according to their fields so that they can work optimally and acquire new skills, Strategy 2: Cooks and Waiters have experience in supporting protocol activities at AAL well. Working well and having experience is capital to open up opportunities for PHL to be appointed as PNS or promoted to division head/kitchen head by considering the working time and amount of experience during AAL, Strategy 3: AAL needs to have standardization in recruiting workers so that later workers are ready to be placed to work according to their fields and open up opportunities to continue improving skills/abilities through courses/training provided by AAL. Meanwhile, to standardize recruitment, researchers provide specific requirements for job applicants interested in becoming cooks and waiters at the Loungeroom at Rd. S Hadi Winarso

This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how psychological well-being (PWB) influences employee performance through a Systematic Literature Review approach. By analyzing a range of relevant and open-access studies, this review synthesizes key findings to identify patterns that explain the relationship between psychological well-being and work outcomes. The analysis reveals that PWB is a crucial internal factor shaping productive, stable, and consistent employee behavior. Individuals with higher levels of psychological well-being tend to demonstrate stronger motivation, higher discipline, and better adaptability when facing pressure or organizational changes. Beyond its direct influence, PWB also acts as a connecting variable between other determinants such as job satisfaction, work-life balance, and organizational support and improved performance. Overall, the review highlights that psychological well-being is not merely a personal condition but a strategic resource that significantly contributes to long term organizational productivity. Therefore, enhancing employee well-being should be integrated into human resource management practices as both a preventive measure and a long term capacity building strategy.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi penguatan human capital dalam meningkatkan kompetensi dan perencanaan karier karyawan di PT. Wang Bintan Konsultan. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi perusahaan meliputi belum optimalnya sistem manajemen kinerja, penilaian yang masih subjektif, kurangnya indikator kerja yang jelas, sistem insentif yang belum efektif, rendahnya motivasi dan disiplin kerja, serta lemahnya kerja sama tim. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, di mana data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem penilaian kinerja perlu diperkuat dengan indikator terukur (KPI) dan Balanced Scorecard, sementara kompensasi harus dikaitkan langsung dengan pencapaian kerja (performance-based system). Selain itu, perusahaan perlu menanamkan budaya disiplin, memberikan pelatihan rutin, serta membangun kolaborasi tim yang kuat. Strategi penguatan human capital yang terintegrasi dengan sistem pembinaan, penghargaan, dan komunikasi dua arah terbukti mampu meningkatkan motivasi, kompetensi, dan loyalitas karyawan terhadap organisasi.

Effective collaboration is a strategic imperative for contemporary organizations, yet its success hinges critically on team dynamics and underlying psychological factors like Trust and Psychological Safety. The purpose of this Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was to synthesize empirical research published between 2020 and 2025 to clarify how these psychological factors influence collaboration and team performance. Following the PRISMA guidelines, a rigorous search on Google Scholar using keywords such as "team performance," "psychological factors," and "collaboration" resulted in the final inclusion of 15 articles for in-depth synthesis. Findings confirm that Trust is the most vital psychological construct, acting as a crucial mediator: it successfully transmits the positive effects of Transactional Leadership on employee performance and, conversely, mediates the detrimental effect of Toxic Leadership leading to Employee Silence. Leadership Soft Skills and Emotional Intelligence are identified as primary antecedents that build perceived trustworthiness, which, in turn, significantly reduces Turnover Intention. The review also highlights emerging contexts: trust is now influenced by Agent-Related Factors in Human-AI Teams (HATs), and unconventional factors like Corporate Comedy are found to positively contribute to Group Cohesion. However, contradictory findings regarding trust's role in Knowledge Sharing suggest a significant research gap. This SLR concludes that building psychological capital is fundamental to effective collaboration and recommends that future research utilize Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to validate conceptual frameworks and employ mixed-methods approaches to resolve contextual conflicts within the literature.

The program “Youth Empowerment in Developing UMKM Assets through a Basic Business Management Workshop in Balung Lor Village” aims to address the low involvement of youth in the village’s micro-business sector, which is currently dominated by elderly entrepreneurs. This community service initiative applies the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach using observation, interviews, focus group discussions, and community asset mapping. The theoretical framework of asset-based empowerment positions youth as a crucial human asset for economic regeneration. The discussion highlights entrepreneurial mindset building, basic business literacy, digital marketing skills, and youth creativity in generating new economic initiatives. The results show significant improvement in youth understanding of production costing, capital management, business planning, and social media-based promotion. In conclusion, the ABCD approach effectively enhances youth participation in local economic development, strengthens UMKM sustainability, and lays a solid foundation for creating a future generation of adaptive and innovative village entrepreneurs.

Education has long been recognized as a primary determinant of economic progress and human development , yet in the context of a global economy characterized by rapid technological change and the sustainability imperative, the focus shifts from the mere quantity of investment to its effectiveness in fostering sustainable economic growth. Current education systems face significant challenges, including a persistent global "learning crisis" , governance inefficiencies , and a misalignment between curricula and the demands of the labor market, particularly the green and digital economies. Given that existing literature often treats education investment as a static input and fails to holistically integrate sustainability and governance into the optimization process , this conceptual article aims to bridge these theoretical and empirical gaps by proposing an integrated model for the optimization of education investment for sustainable economic growth. The method involves a conceptual analysis that synthesizes human capital theory , endogenous growth theory , and the economics of sustainability , emphasizing the roles of governance, innovation, and inclusivity as mediating factors. The key finding of the study indicates that optimization necessitates a paradigm shift from input-oriented budgeting toward an outcome-based investment framework that holistically balances three crucial dimensions: efficiency (maximizing learning outcomes) , equity (ensuring inclusive access) , and relevance (alignment with sustainability needs). The resulting policy implications are delineated across the Macro (fiscal integration and sustainability strategies through performance-based funding) , Meso (institutions transform into adaptive innovation centers) , and Micro (enhancement of reskilling, upskilling, and human capital capacity) levels; by achieving this alignment, education successfully transitions from a cost center to a strategic catalyst driving sustained prosperity.

Poverty remains a central issue in regional development, particularly in areas with pronounced economic disparities such as South Sumatra Province. This study aims to examine the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the poverty rate across regencies and cities in South Sumatra during the period 2020–2024. A quantitative research approach was employed using panel data regression analysis, supported by descriptive statistics and classical assumption tests. The empirical findings indicate that GRDP has a negative and statistically significant effect on poverty, suggesting that an increase in regional economic capacity contributes to reducing poverty levels. However, the relatively small coefficient signifies that economic growth has not been fully inclusive and is influenced by the structural characteristics of each region. The Fixed Effect Model was identified as the most appropriate specification, highlighting the existence of heterogeneity across districts that shapes the relationship between GRDP and poverty. These results underscore the need for development strategies that not only promote economic growth but also ensure an equitable distribution of its benefits through the reinforcement of labor-intensive sectors, enhancement of human capital, and strengthening of local economic structures. The study provides valuable insights for regional policymakers in designing more effective and sustainable poverty alleviation strategies.

Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the role of vocational education in strengthening human capital in the era of Industry 5.0 through a case study of students at SMK Entrepreneur Indonesia Sragen. Vocational education is a crucial component in developing competent, adaptive, and innovative human resources in the face of technological disruption and changing job market needs. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach, this study examines how the implementation of a competency-based curriculum, entrepreneurship training, and collaboration with the industrial world can improve the quality of human capital. The results show that vocational education at SMK Entrepreneur Indonesia Sragen successfully improves students' technical abilities, digital skills, and entrepreneurial spirit, thus better preparing them to face the demands of the world of work in the era of Industry 5.0. In addition, policy support, teacher training, and technology-based learning facilities also strengthen learning outcomes. This study confirms that vocational education plays a strategic role in producing productive, creative, and globally competitive graduates. Strengthening human capital through vocational education is a key factor in accelerating Indonesia's economic transformation towards an intelligent and highly competitive society in the digital era.

The economy of West Sumatra Province has shown a significant decline in recent years, with the lowest growth rate on the entire island of Sumatra. This study aims to examine the influence of capital expenditure, unemployment, and the Human Development Index on economic growth in this region between 2014 and 2024. Using multiple linear regression and data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance, the analysis shows that capital expenditure and unemployment have a significant negative impact on economic growth, while the Human Development Index (HDI) has no significant impact. Although capital expenditure varies, the decline in unemployment indicates a change in labor market conditions. This information indicates that government efforts to increase spending on infrastructure and public services are still ineffective in driving growth. Therefore, it is recommended that the government prioritize budget allocations in productive sectors such as infrastructure, tourism, and MSME development to help small businesses grow and advance through training, capital support, and technology implementation to ensure competitiveness and sustainability. Therefore, this study is expected to provide deeper insight into the elements that influence economic growth in West Sumatra and serve as a guide for further, more comprehensive research.

This study aims to explain how the implementation of a Financial Management Information System (MISK) can improve decision-making capabilities in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In the digital era, MSMEs are required to manage their finances quickly, accurately, and in an integrated manner to compete in a dynamic market. The SIMK offers a solution to simplify the process of recording, analyzing, and reporting financial information in real time, enabling business decisions to be based on valid data. Analysis of various studies shows that the implementation of a MISK can improve operational efficiency, financial reporting transparency, and the quality of managerial decisions. However, its effectiveness is greatly influenced by financial literacy, digital readiness, and the ability of human resources to operate the system. Many MSMEs still have not fully utilized technology due to limited capital and accounting knowledge. With training and government policy support, the implementation of a MISK is expected to strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs, increase productivity, and achieve professional financial governance.
