This study aims to examine the influence of sexual stigma on suicidal ideation in early adult lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) individuals aged 18-29 in Indonesia. Suicidal ideation is a global mental health issue frequently experienced by LGBT individuals due to discrimination and stigma. The study employed a quantitative survey design, involving 120 LGBT early adult participants selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments included an adapted version of the Sexual Stigma Scale to measure sexual stigma and the Adult Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire (ASIQ) to measure suicidal ideation. Data analysis utilized linear regression to assess the influence of sexual stigma on suicidal ideation. The results revealed a significant positive relationship between sexual stigma and suicidal ideation, with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.414 (moderate category) and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.01). Sexual stigma contributed 17.1% to suicidal ideation, indicating a significant influence while acknowledging the presence of other influencing factors. These findings emphasize that higher sexual stigma is associated with an increased risk of suicidal ideation in LGBT individuals..

Victims of sexual harassment against people with disabilities experience severe consequences. In addition to being vulnerable to prejudice or discrimination, this minority group also has difficulty in accessing adequate legal protection. The purpose of this article is to examine the legal protection provided to people with disabilities who are targets of sexual harassment in society. The research method used is a normative literature review that examines relevant laws, regulations, and practices. According to this study, although there are legal instruments such as Law Number 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities and Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence (TPKS), there are still a number of obstacles in implementing these laws effectively, such as lack of public awareness, limited access to legal infrastructure, and social stigma against individuals with disabilities. The results of this study highlight the need to improve the capacity of law enforcement, build accessible facilities, and educate the community to create a safe and supportive environment for people with disabilities. This article offers suggestions on tactics to improve legal protection and achieve social justice for victims of sexual disclosure who have disabilities.

Ethnic and cultural diversity in modern society has become increasingly complex due to the influences of globalization, urbanization, and migration, resulting in multicultural communities. This diversity, while offering opportunities for mutual understanding, often gives rise to tensions, prejudices, and even conflicts between groups, especially when cultural identities are contested. In such circumstances, religion plays a significant role as a social pillar that can embrace differences. However, if applied exclusively, religion also has the potential to become a source of conflict. Therefore, inclusive theology, which prioritizes acceptance of differences without compromising religious teachings, becomes a relevant solution to bridge these tensions. Inclusive theology not only encourages intercultural dialogue but also promotes peace and solidarity by emphasizing love, tolerance, and respect for the dignity of every individual. In the context of the church, inclusive theology serves as an agent of peace actively addressing issues of ethnic discrimination and cultural injustice. This study aims to explore the application of inclusive theology in responding to ethnic and cultural conflicts in multicultural societies, using a qualitative approach and Ricoeur's hermeneutic analysis. It is expected that this research will contribute to fostering harmony and reconciliation amidst existing diversity.

This article examines the interpretation of the Qur'an and Islamic perspectives on gender equality, focusing on transgender issues. The study explores how Islam, through Qur'anic verses and prophetic traditions, provides guidelines on gender identity, equal rights, and human dignity. Islam views humans as inherently equal and honorable, without gender-based discrimination. However, the transgender issue, particularly involving gender transitions or non-binary identities, sparks diverse interpretations among classical and contemporary scholars. The article also reviews how Islamic law perceives gender reassignment and the social status of transgender individuals in society. By analyzing verses such as QS. Al-Hujurat [49:13], QS. An-Nisa' [4:1], and QS. At-Taubah [9:71], along with contemporary scholarly literature, this study seeks to offer a balanced and just perspective on understanding this issue, rooted in the principles of justice, compassion, and humanity in Islam.

By writing scientific papers, he talked about how the virtue of the Christian Church in the midst of the majority and living became an example in encountering problems and introducing interfaith tolerance in Indonesia. As a country with strong religious traditions, Indonesia has challenges in creating harmonious relationships between all communities. In this writing, I am also trying to write that with the education of teaching love, the Christian church has the potential to become an agent of reconciliation in a pluralistic society. Christian teachings on selfless love, forgiveness, and acceptance of discrimination provide opportunities for people to actively participate in interfaith dialogue. However, the Church also addresses theological and social issues as absolute.

Persons with disabilities represent a diverse segment of society, facing unique challenges in accessing public services such as education, healthcare, and employment. In response, Indonesia ratified the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) through Law No. 19 of 2011, which serves to promote, protect, and ensure equal rights and fundamental freedoms for individuals with disabilities. This commitment led to the enactment of Law No. 8 of 2016, replacing an earlier, more compassionate framework with one emphasizing equality and the protection of rights for persons with disabilities. The law defines individuals with disabilities as those facing long-term physical, intellectual, mental, or sensory limitations and emphasizes the necessity of special protections to uphold their rights and prevent discrimination. The method used in this study is a normative legal research method. This study evaluates the effectiveness of disability rights protection policies in Indonesia, revealing significant challenges despite the legal framework established by Law No. 19 of 2011. Access to education, healthcare, and employment remains limited due to inadequate facilities, discriminatory practices, and social stigma. Effective solutions require strengthening the legal framework, increasing awareness, and involving the disability community in policy planning. Furthermore, robust monitoring and enforcement mechanisms are essential for safeguarding rights. To enhance protections, improved coordination among ministries, ongoing training for service providers, inclusive education practices, and recognition of employers who hire individuals with disabilities are critical. These measures are vital for fostering a more equitable society and ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities are upheld sustainably.

This article discusses the importance of teaching Christian love amid the cultural and religious diversity in Indonesia. Diversity, which is a national treasure, should be nurtured through inclusive humanitarian values, where every individual is viewed as a fellow being worthy of love and respect. In this context, Jesus' teachings about love for one another and Martin Buber's concept of "I and Thou" play a significant role in fostering mutual respect. The article emphasizes that the biblical teachings on love, particularly in 1 Corinthians 13, serve as a foundation for creating positive and inclusive social interactions. By applying Christian values, society is expected to reduce prejudice and discrimination, as well as prevent conflict. The importance of instilling these values from an early age, both in families and educational institutions, is highlighted as a means to build a generation that is sensitive to differences. Through love and understanding, it is hoped that a harmonious and prosperous Indonesian society can be created, where every individual feels valued regardless of their background.

This research is motivated by the researcher’s curiosity about discrimination and social conflict, which are the central themes in the novel Maryam by Okky Madasari. The main character in this novel, Maryam, faces an inner conflict between maintaining her personal beliefs and coping with the social pressures exerted by her community and family. The internal and external conflicts experienced by Maryam illustrate the psychological dynamics of individuals living in an intolerant environment. To understand these conflicts, this study applies Sigmund Freud's psychological approach, emphasizing the interaction among the id, ego, and superego. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, employing a literature review. The analysis reveals that while Maryam’s id drives her to uphold her freedom and personal beliefs, her superego imposes pressure through societal norms and family expectations. Meanwhile, Maryam's ego functions as a mediator, seeking a compromise, though this leads to emotional distress. These internal and external conflicts reflect the social realities faced by individuals from minority groups, which can significantly influence their life choices.

This journal focused on the juridical analysis of legal protection for the victims of Artificial Intelligence misuse based on Indonesia’s Law. In this context, AI misuse refers to the use of AI technology that harms an individual or group, physically, mentally, and financially. Firstly, this journal explored how Indonesia’s law protects the victims of AI misuse. Although Indonesia has developed some regulations and policies, the legal protection of the victims of AI misuse still has become a challenge. The existing laws did not cover the specific aspects of AI misuse, including data privacy, algorithm discrimination, and other social impacts. Secondly, this journal discussed the challenges and obstacles in implementing legal protection for the victims of AI misuse in Indonesia. Some vital challenges included the lack of a general understanding of AI, specific laws for AI, and the gaps between the technology advancement and the existing law. Moreover, another challenge came from the lack of an international law framework that regulates the use of AI. This journal suggested the need for regulation improvement, public education about AI, and international cooperation in regulating AI. Besides, further research is needed to understand the bad impact of AI misuse and how the law can be more effective in protecting the victims.
