The crime of murder is a crime that can cause the death of a person, this is committed individually and violates the applicable provisions of the Criminal Code Book II Chapter XIX (articles 338-350). Basically, murder is carried out with an element of intent. Deliberation is a subjective element in a criminal act, because this element is inherent in the subject or perpetrator of the crime. This means wanting or knowing what will be done. Therefore, in murder there must be evidence in order to determine whether a person is guilty or not in committing the crime of murder by collecting legal evidence according to the applicable law. Furthermore, the method used in this case is a normative juridical approach, which is carried out through literature books, journals, articles, as well as statutory regulations related to the problem to be discussed. Legal considerations in imposing a sentence on the perpetrator of the crime of intentional murder, because the circumstances were aggravating and the defendant caused the victim to die and the defendant's actions disturbed the community. Thus, the punishment given by the state is solely to change the perpetrator to become better, and at the same time provide education to improve themselves.

This article explores the use of directive speech acts in dialogues presented in English textbooks. Drawing on the theoretical framework of speech act theory by Parker and Riley (1994), the study focuses on understanding how directives—utterances that seek to influence the behavior of the listener—are presented in various dialogues. It examines the various forms and functions of directives, their role in communication, and how they help learners of English understand and practice practical conversational strategies. The article highlights the importance of directive speech acts in both formal and informal contexts, with specific examples drawn from English language textbooks. This study uses qualitative descriptive research where data is found in dialogues in textbooks and then matched with theory and poured into a sentence. This study found that there are five types of directive speech acts, namely, orders, warnings, giving advice, suggestions, and recommendations. In this study, 7 command data, 3 warning data, 2 advice data, 8 suggestion data, and 1 recommendation data were found. In this study, two techniques were found in the delivery of speech acts, namely direct and non-direct. Non-direct techniques tend to contain an element of politeness rather than direct. In addition, the speech actions in this textbook can help students understand, and using directive speech acts effectively can significantly improve communicative competence in language learners.

Education plays an important role in building a generation that is intelligent, virtuous, and capable of facing the challenges of the times. However, education cannot be separated from social and cultural factors, where social and cultural conditions themselves have an impact on education. One such case occurred during the colonial era, when the colonial government had a significant influence in shaping the educational system in Indonesia at that time. Education was essentially divided into two: formal school education, which focused only on worldly knowledge, and education in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), which taught only religious knowledge. Due to this situation, K.H. Ahmad Dahlan was moved to reform Islamic education. This research aims to explore K.H. Ahmad Dahlan's thoughts on education and to understand his efforts in the process of reforming Islamic education. The research uses a literature study method, where data is obtained from writings such as books, journal articles, and other supporting texts related to the issue. The results of the study show that K.H. Ahmad Dahlan had his own educational philosophy, in which religious knowledge and worldly knowledge were seen as an integrated whole. K.H. Ahmad Dahlan’s struggle can be seen from his efforts to establish a school that integrated both religious and worldly knowledge. His contribution to educational reform is still felt today, as educational institutions under Muhammadiyah have spread across Indonesia. Muhammadiyah itself is an organization founded by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan, which serves as a platform or means for his struggle.

The aim of this research is to explore the implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage in the development of an egiliterary attitude which is studied from a sociological perspective. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library study type of research. The data sources used were the Al Qur'an and Hadith, as well as books and journals related to the theme of Hajj and the development of egalitarian attitudes. The results of this research show that several developments were found in the formation of egalitarian attitudes after carrying out the Hajj in society. The Hajj pilgrimage, which is one of the pillars of Islam, brings together Muslims from various social, economic and cultural backgrounds in the Holy Land. The process of carrying out the Hajj which involves certain rituals, such as Tawaf and Sa'i, teaches the values of simplicity and sincerity. All pilgrims, regardless of social status, wear the same ihram clothing, symbolic of the elimination of differences. This encourages individuals to internalize the principles of egalitarianism, eliminate discriminatory traits, and strengthen solidarity.

The purpose of this article study is to analyze the Role of Christian Religious Education (PAK) in Building Student Character to Avoid Cohabitation Behavior. Using a qualitative research approach, data were collected through unstructured interviews, non-participant observation, and literature studies from relevant journals and books. The results of the study indicate that although PAK teaches moral values such as love, honesty, and responsibility, many students have difficulty in implementing them due to the influence of a loose boarding environment and peer pressure. Students are often trapped in unhealthy relationships and ignore Christian principles because they feel pressured to follow the behavior of others. In addition, social skills such as interaction and empathy that should be developed through PAK are also hampered by social norms around them. This study emphasizes the need for social support and a contextual educational approach so that students can more effectively apply moral values in social interactions. To reduce cohabitation behavior, educational institutions need to create an environment that supports the implementation of PAK values consistently.
