This study investigates the influence of coffee brewing device branding on the sensory perception of coffee flavor at TEFA Javanica, Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi. Focusing on three V60 dripper brands—Hario (Japanese brand), Indotara (local generic brand), and One Two Cup (local brand with English naming)—the research employs an experimental quantitative approach combining blind and branded taste tests. The blind test eliminates brand influence, allowing assessment of the inherent coffee taste, while the branded test examines how brand expectations affect flavor experience and consumer perception. Sensory evaluation follows the Specialty Coffee Association's standardized cupping protocol, assessing aroma, taste, aftertaste, balance, and overall impression. Data from 45 purposively selected experienced coffee tasters were analyzed using the McNemar test to statistically compare preferences between blind and branded conditions. Results show significant brand effects on consumer perception for two of the three brands tested, highlighting branding’s role in shaping sensory experience. These findings offer valuable insights for coffee producers and marketers to optimize brewing device selection and branding strategies, enhancing customer satisfaction and competitive positioning. Academically, the study enriches literature on sensory branding in coffee, emphasizing the importance of equipment branding in specialty coffee markets. This research also lays groundwork for future studies exploring marketing and consumer psychology aspects within the specialty coffee industry.

This study aims to obtain data on the music learning process using the Learning By Doing method with the melodica as a musical instrument for visually impaired sixth-grade students at SLB-A Pembina Tingkat Nasional (Special School for the Blind). Learning By Doing emphasizes the active involvement of students in the learning process. This is particularly relevant for visually impaired students, as they rely more heavily on their sense of hearing and touch to receive information. To gain a clear understanding of the stages of music learning using this method, the researcher employed a descriptive approach. Several data collection techniques were used, including interviews, observation of learning activities, document analysis, and field notes. The study was conducted over the course of one semester. The results of the research show that the implementation of the Learning By Doing method in music education involves three main stages: the planning stage (lesson plans and syllabus), the implementation stage (interactive learning and hands-on practice), and the evaluation stage. The application of Learning By Doing increased student engagement and understanding of basic musical tone concepts, and also supported their musical skills, auditory abilities, and experience in recognizing expression through sound. Thus, the Learning By Doing method is effective in teaching music to visually impaired students because it provides a concrete and meaningful learning experience.

In the past, toys were identified solely as instruments of entertainment for children. Adults were generally considered inappropriate to own or play with toys. Over time, toys have evolved into collectibles that have artistic, historical, and investment value for people of all ages. This study aims to analyze Pop Mart's marketing strategy in shaping impulsive buying behavior. The study was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods. The research data was obtained from digital searches and observations from various official sources and related official websites. The results of the study show that Pop Mart, as a leader in this industry, has successfully implemented marketing strategies that utilize collaborations with artists, the blind box concept, and the principle of scarcity to create a unique and attractive shopping experience for its consumers. Collaborations with artists play an important role in building brand identity and increasing product appeal. By offering limited editions of popular characters such as Molly, Labubu, and SkullPanda, Pop Mart has been able to attract collectors and art enthusiasts who have an emotional connection to these works. This has led to increased brand loyalty and purchase frequency. The blind box concept creates an element of surprise that triggers excitement when opening the packaging, thereby encouraging repeat purchases. Additionally, the scarcity marketing strategy, combined with the application of FOMO behavior, successfully creates a sense of urgency among consumers. Products with limited editions and purchase quantity restrictions create exclusivity, making consumers feel they must act quickly to obtain the product before it sells out.

This paper examines the life struggles of Javed Khan, a second-generation Pakistani immigrant in the United Kingdom in Blinded by Light film. Culturally, as a Pakistani-British, Javed lives in two worlds, i.e., the old world belonging to his parents and his current world, the world he is living in, i.e., the British society and culture. To analyze this topic, the textual content analysis is employed. As for the theoretical framework, Hall’s concept of identity and some works of literature on discrimination are of importance. The result of the analysis shows that Javed’s journey reveals the challenges and pressures of adaptation and acculturation faced by second-generation immigrants in general, illustrating how the tension between intergenerational expectations often creates tension and fosters growth and understanding in a multicultural context. Javed is torn between the values of the home country his father holds and the values of the new country. In addition, the discrimination experienced by Malik Khan’s family reflects the experience of immigrant families in a broader context. The film encourages viewers to reflect on the societal expectations of immigrants to conform to the host society and culture, while also showcasing the importance of individual aspirations and self-expression.

Mobility is one of the major challenges for visually impaired individuals in their daily activities. Visual impairments make it difficult for them to detect obstacles around them, increasing the risk of injury. This study aims to design and develop a smart stick based on ESP32, equipped with an ultrasonic sensor, to assist the mobility of visually impaired people. The system uses ultrasonic sensors to detect the distance of objects and provides early warnings to users through a buzzer, with varying rhythms depending on the proximity of objects. The research methodology includes system design and development of hardware and software, as well as direct testing on visually impaired users. The test results show that the system can detect obstacles with 95% accuracy at distances up to 200 cm, and provide appropriate responses based on the distance of detected objects. In addition, this prototype is energy-efficient, allowing for prolonged use without frequent recharging. This study provides a practical solution to enhance the independence and safety of visually impaired individuals in daily activities, with the potential for further development to improve detection accuracy and user comfort.

Science is always associated with general knowledge or science that studies worldly matters only. Some Muslims think that science has nothing to do with Islam or in other words, Islam does not need science. If the Islamic community's opinion about this still exists then Islam is in a danger zone, because Islam actually needs science. Islam and science are not two opposing camps, but rather two very unified camps. If we look deeper, the Koran presents many verses about science. The verses of the Koran about science range from 750 to 1000 verses. In fact, the first revelation that came down to the Prophet Muhammad SAW was the command to read. In the Qur'an, it is explained that paying attention to the universe, which also means studying science, is part of reading the verses of Allah SWT. Meanwhile, the results of research conducted by scientists about the universe do not contradict the Koran which was revealed 1400 years ago. If science and technology are only controlled by non-Muslims, then Muslims will be considered weaker and inferior in the field of science. Therefore, Islam needs the next generation of people who love and understand the contents of the Koran and are not blind to knowledge, especially science. Islam will spread its wings more in the fields of science and technology so that a generation of Muslims who are IMTAQ and SCIENTIFIC will be formed, namely a generation of Muslims who are faithful and devout and master science and technology.
